The ball is totally rad! It's a huge step up from mine, although I feel like the "rugby champion's cup" detracts rather than improves, but I am a big fan of minimalist design so I am perhaps not the one to ask.

Will this be done like the RL Heineken Cup, where you are in a group of 4, and you play Home and away games, then Quarter Finals etc?

Depends on how many teams I end up with. But something like that yes. It will be run like the other international domestic tournaments on nssport though - so, all at once.

With the formation of the Barsteeg Championship, the Citiz Rugby Administration quickly coalesced some rugby clubs from around the country to participate in a new league. In order for the league to run, the CRA needed a source of quick money, so they enlisted Trumack, one of the few Citiz companies that exclusively sell rugby clothes and equipment, to purchase title sponsorship of the league. As well, the CRA opted to create a trophy competition after the season for the top six teams of the newly-christened Trumack Rugby Club League. A Polarian company, eager to join the rugby bandwagon unleashed by its countrymen, scooped up sponsorship of the tournament, which was then called the Finnmakt National Trophy.

Signups have closed though. With a slightly more awkward number of signups now standing at 34, I will be drawing names out of a hat to see which two nations will see their bottom ranked team join the bottom two teams from the Croix Bleue Premiership in a qualification round before I draw 8 groups of 4, from which two teams will qualify etc etc. Draw up later, scorination tonight when I get back from uni. Winners of the Polar Islandstates Eastern Conference should have a fairly easy time in Group A, with possible challenges coming from Watson's Bay RFC from the Kaiser Colonies and the Abdian-Lonagan League Silo RUFC, but the Citiz representative in this group, Sherwood RFC only managed to get into this tournament on points difference in the TRCL in Civil Citizenry, and they then had to beat Albionpool Druids from Cotdelapoms to qualify for the actual tournament

The First Cyborg Holland team is in group B, but last years runner up in the National Championships have not perfromed as well in the first 9 rounds of this year's competition, However, pre-tournament wins against Saint Lawrence of Dequis and ORC Hague, 24-13 and 41-6 respectively, Robert Stam and his men should qualify behind Scott City AC who were run-away winners of the Darmeni Premiership. The Only other challenge comes from the Citiz side, TF Thugs, a very new side, who came third in the TRLC, and were runners up in the Finnmakt National Trophy. Racing Cassia '78 of Mytannion could pose a threat, but I'm sure Paritzburg can overcome them.
