Vortiaganica: Lamoni I understand fully, of course. The two (Lamoni & Lyras) are more inseparable than the Clinton family and politics.
Triplebaconation: Lamoni commands a quiet respect that carries its own authority. He is the Mandela of NS.

The golden Mayflower soared through the sky, like a woodpecker on a overdoses of speed, with it's pilot, aptly named The Pilot, being drunk as always. The Pilot, Pappa's personal pilot, was a ex-Jet fighter among other things and was one of the few people that actually flew better when drunk. Usually sitting in his cockpit, where he had a small home-brew set installed, he never flew on autopilot, as he said that those things were extensions of the Intergalactic Council of Über-evildoing Aryan Zionism, or something like that as no one ever listened to him while he said it. Either way, lift off and landing usually involved swallowing a two-litre bottle of Vodka in order for it to go as smooth as a baby bottom.
The most important thing now, however, was the occupants of the other parts of the Mayflower. In the cargo hold, Gustavo inspected the three Maktarov-Lazmakta's that were now taking up space in the cargo hold. The small but extremely agile and fast cars that also had a extremely good mileage, especially after Gustavo modified them, had been bought by Pappa from the nearby Maktarov-Lazmakta car dealer in order to have a car in Ganosia. The cars, which were used in Grittonia for so called 'midget races', had been especially picked by Pappa due to their small size and relatively high speed. Next to that, they were one of the few Grittonian-made cars that were small enough to pass through the Ganosian ballroom.
In the bedroom, Pappa was taking a beauty nap with the Perviolosi twins on each side of him also taking a nap. While it usually wasn't normal for Personal Assistants, the Perviolosi twins both had had a relationship with Pappa and as such, they didn't really care, both the twins and Pappa, how or what because they had already seen everything of each other. Next to that, Pappa's bedroom was the only one in the plane and while the seats could fold fully vertically and were extremely comfortable, a bed was still much better.
In the bar space of the plane, Nicolai Übergay was preparing a large flask of his personal Vodka, the strongest home-made Vodka in Grittonia. After pouring his Vodka from the home-brew set that he had installed in the bar space, he placed the Vodka in his favourite suit, the suit that he would be wearing to this Tour. His golden, silk suit that was specially tailored for him by the best tailor in Germantown, Wilhelm Adolph III, just before he died. The tailor, of course, Nicolai wasn't a zombie. Except in the morning before his coffee and Vodka.
The ballroom
As the people mingled in the ballroom, the Grittonians were coming in their Maktarov-Lazmakta's. Nicolai and Pappa coming in the first, in the Maktarov-Lazmakta that was painted in Gold and Silver, the colors of the Grittonian flag. The Perviolosi twins followed in the second one, which was painted red and blue, after the colours of their leather suits. Gustavo finished in the third one, which was fully pained in camouflage... Driving into the ballroom, of which the doors were hastily opened by the people who opened the doors, they did a little trick and the Maktarov-Lazmakta's ended up in a row, parked. One, by one, they left their cars, ending with Pappa getting out and putting on his sunglasses, hiding a pair of piercing blue eyes, which were mainly created by contacts.(Image)

"She is, mama but you can't fault her for it." Marcella said
George stepped off too he seemed to get better and better over his sea sickness but he still had his slips. "How do we get to this ball they have going on?"
"I think they said a car would come for us. Oh there!" They saw a chauffeur holding a sign calling for them. "Gisela, over here baby." The family piled in the limo. Gisela examined every nook and cranny on it while their Ganosia Greeter welcomed them told them what they need to know and what language to speak.
"Gisela, please..." Shino urged her to behave
"Quite all right," Their guide told them "She's perfectly welcome. We know much about AHSCA and how poor--Er-I how limited means it is down there..."
"Yeah we get it, we're poor." Marcella said rolling her eyes a bit.
"Please forgive me. Her highness is so very anxious to meet you it would be a shame for you to be offended by my big mouth."
Shino said "It's fine don't worry. I'd like to meet Quinn my self."
The limo pulled up to the ball room. The Chauffeur opened their doors to let them out and they went inside. "So lovely here in Ganosia." Shino admired the ball room.

The plane flight hadn't been the comfiest, nor the car journey. But, finally, Catherine - Princess of Belfras and heir to the throne was able to step out of the car and onto the steps of the Ganosian Royal Palace. Perfect timing for the Gala, surely.
Her tailor, who only briefly appeared from the car, gave her dress a once-over before vanishing from sight. The young Princess, with her 'personal advisor', as to say her confidant, scaled the entrance and entered the ballroom and past the greeters who seemed to be worshipping most of the guests like they were gods. What to do? The young Princess handn't a clue.

They didn't call her the "master butcher" for nothing, after all.
Even pregnancy did not seem to slow her down all that much, but she had been doing a lot more desk work lately. Adrian had to admit to liking the idea of being a father, and couldn't wait for little Tala to be born. First though, they had to survive this Gala.

"Goodness I do not know how people stand these automobiles." Shinya complained
"Come now Shinya, we had them back in my home country they're not so bad. Though I can't argue they're as romantic as a white carriage we got for our wedding."
The two walked inside admired the grandess of the whole room "Wow, you sure they won't mind us? I mean you're just a Naval Officer and I'm an author."

Claire then looked over the bar and grabbed the closest bottle of wine she could see, ad started drinking right out of it. "Oh I'm sorry, do you want some?" She asked the prince. "So, may I ask your name? You seem to know me already."
"As for those Rations, I suppose if you want them we can sell you some fora trial run."
Nalaya wrote:Aline did not seem happy or at ease, nor had she at any point in Ganosia. At least in Nalaya it was dishonorable to speak badly of those who could not defend themselves. Here, anyone and their brother could drag you through the mud. She hated it here: she knew she was unwelcome, reviled, and disgraceful. The only person besides Constantine who treated her like someone they wanted to be around had been Kayaneh Kassouni and the other Nalayan, but that had been brief.
She had come because she hadn't had the heart to say no when Constantine asked. No one had yet said anything she hadn't hurt herself with already. It was worse than Yeraskh, because at least there she had people who understood what necessity would make you do. But shouting, This wasn't my choice! would be a lie. She had chosen. She could have died in the gutter with dignity.
Siran seemed to materialize from nowhere, leaving a kiss on Jacob's cheek. "Taking my name in vain already? Shame. Oh, Francis, Arin called. She wishes you the best...she tried to call you, but I guess you were already here. She caught me on the way out the door."
She shook her head a little when Francis left. "Aline, you look...uncomfortable."
The poor Yeraskhi girl made a small gesture of helplessness, green eyes solemn and shadowed. "I know when I am not wanted, Siruhi. It is not unexpected, but that wounds me even more."
"If anyone says anything, tell me," Siran said firmly. "I will slap them into next week. Though why Constantine isn't dueling them already is beyond me." She gave him a sharp glare. "Perhaps he is too distracted to notice? We're talking to you, Constantine. The words are not coming from Aline's chest. And Cyrus, before you start making doe eyes over Kaya, I think she's already carrying a torch for someone."

Kayaneh came out of her shell much more around fellow military officers, the rigid bearing softening a little to reveal a person underneath. She respected Ganosian officers just as much as they did her, honored to have the opportunity to speak with people she would likely end up training and fighting beside in the future, particularly if Anahid opened up the Academies to students from allied nations.

Her dress was cunningly designed; underneath the straps that only covered the middle of her bosom was a hidden bra cup that actually held the dress in place, so that it only had the illusion of being in danger of slipping at any moment; it was an elaborate tease. Rebecca was already liking Ganosia; she felt a rush at Lilith's look at her. James was deeply amused; he and his wife had played this game before. In Ganosian fashion he offered to kiss Lilith's hand. "Enchanted, Princess..."
Sif listened as William spoke to her. It was hard not to feel embarassed and weirded out; she had never met him except the one time before, and he was in love with her. "Why don't you tell me about yourself, apart from being the leader of my appreciation society?" she asked.
Hugora wrote:Ganos Lao wrote:Interestingly - as if by a stroke of fateful convenience - April was separated from her ward. She was discovered by the self proclaimed Ganosian Ambassador to Hugora, who merely kissed her hand and welcomed her to Ganosia. She was told that his name was Constantine Paoli and that he was one of the members of local nobility in Ganosian society. He pointed out, while walking with April into the ballroom, that Ganosia was never like what the Hugorans had said about them. He made note to tell April all about how the capital, Olyan, was cosmopolitan and wonderous and multi-cultural, with many races and non-human species within. Even in the ballroom, you could see this. An Afro-Ganosian man walked right past April, while in the distance she could see Irikah, half-human princess of Ganosia, eating roast beef while talking to her best friend, Princess Vivian. Constantine merely chuckled and offered April a seat at his table - he even pulled it out for her while the other man at the table - his younger brother Maurizio - suddenly saw Jennifer and ran up to her to welcome her personally to Ganosia.
"You are taking notes at a party? You shouldn't feel the need to do that tonight, madam. Today's Ganosia Day. You should relax and have fun. The name's Maurizio Paoli. Who might you be?"
He chuckled and extended his hand for a proper greeting. Luckily he kept his eyes off any cleavage she may have displayed. "You are Hugoran? Fascinating, isn't it? A Hugoran in the middle of Ganosia. Well, I do hope you'll find Ganosia to be far greater than whatever petty slander the Hugorans have said of us."April looked around quickly for Jennifer, but the glacier-like crowds obscured all view of her. She had been told to keep an eye on the woman--and after Dominanthia, she knew Jennifer was a trouble magnet--but she was nowhere to be seen. And then Constantine appeared, and in the fuss of his hand-kissing, which he didn't need to do, because it wasn't like she was royalty or anything. But she didn't make a big deal of it, more of a polite protestation tinged with definite flattery.
She followed him into the ballroom, looking around at the patrons and wondering if this was what all foreign places were like. There certainly weren't parties this diverse in Hugora--the only Africans at those were the wait staff. And nonhumans were non-existent in Hugora. She said as much to her new companion as she sat down.
"And we certainly don't have nobility," she said, in that eager voice of someone sharing what they saw as something very important. "I always though that meant a bunch of old people in cloaks and crowns, oppressing everyone."
"That's just some pseudo-proletarian mythology spread around to bolster one's belief in stupid ideologies like Communism," Constantine scoffed indifferently while his eyes were studying April, discovering great deposits of sex appeal. He merely kicked up the charm while he spoke to her in an already flirtatious fashion, although he toned it down later on when he realized that the Queen wouldn't appreciate him helping to give foreign women the impression that all Ganosian men were sex fiends. But someone stricken with the beauty of a certain woman could not help himself and so Constantine pressed on.Finally, she caught sight of Jennifer, being approached by Maurizio. She sighed. "I hope she doesn't get into trouble again." It was sort of under her breath, but Constantine would easily have been able to hear it.
"She's a grown woman. She can handle her own affairs. But let's talk about you, April. What makes you tick? Was there anything you wanted to know about Ganosia, aside from the Hugoran propaganda?"Just a few feet away, Jennifer had been making a few causal notes, noting the interracial and indeed interspecies mix of the guests, when Maurizio walked up to her.
"Jennifer Tade," she said, slipping the notebook into a back pocket. "I'm a journalist, taking notes is kind of my thing." She shook his hand when it was offered. "I've certainly been told a lot about your nation," she said. "And it wasn't too positive. But Hugora has always seen bigotry as a good enough response to actual spine from foreign nations." She had been personally opposed to the Thornfield incident, writing an article praising the military (a first) for its quick withdrawal. She'd stayed away from Ganosia after that--stretching the truth was stock and trade for journalism, but outright lies weren't her style.
"But I guess I'm here to repair that, a bit at least," she reasoned.
Maurizio was Constantine's younger brother - whereas Constantine was the suave and charming gentleman with his intellectual tendencies, Maurizio was the one who loved fast cars, faster women, and even faster spirits, but at least he was always able to keep his composure around women, especially this Hugoran broad who was already getting leered at by certain individuals within the ballroom, including those that would have made her guilty of racial treasion in Hugora if she consented to dealing with them. Maurizio merely began to explain how he was like her to an extent. "I've traveled quite a fair bit myself around the world, although I've been stuck here since God knows how long....but can I say that you look exceptionally beautiful tonight? You look more like a supermodel than an actual journalist, and I say that with respect. Don't worry about me - I may like my women, but I'm gonna keep my eyes away from your chest there, Jennifer. Yeah, I'm a nobleman. Well, son of a nobleman. Me and my brother Constantine are here tonight to represent the Paoli family. I must say that you're getting quite a bit of attention. I think I see even a nearby prince staring at you. But I can't blame them. But I suppose you'll like somewhere more modest for continued discussions? Would you like to sit with me at my table. Perhaps we can talk about ways to help you write a good report?"
And get in my bed, Maurizio thought. Unlike his professional, older sibling, Maurizio was never known for being subtle.Aquitayne wrote:
When he felt someone grab hold of him from behind, he was startled - but when he felt the soft hair on his neck he smiled, not paying attention to the cup that he had dropped. He watched her pick it up, taking a quick glance at her backside, kissing her back when she stood up, wrapping her in a hug that he had longed for for months. He looked at her up and down, the breath noticeably taken from him. He walked with her over to the buffet line and got a slice of pizza, grabbing her hand gently and moving to a mostly empty table. He placed his plate down at where he'd sit and then pushed out Lori's chair for her.
He then sat down next to her, admiring how great she looked in her tiara and dress. "You know that even if you hadn't been invited my father could have gotten you in. He has his ways of fiddling with the system... But I must say, Lori, you look stunning. Do you think there'll be any slow music? I actually kind of want to tonight. But anyway, how have you been? Life has been hell in Aquitayne without you. And that's not even the beginning of it." He smiled, reassuring her that he was alright; holding her hand on the table admiring her.
"Your father's a nice man, Sam, just like you are. Well, I've been quite good these past few weeks. I was worried so much about you when I heard that Aquitayne was being invaded and that Ganosia wasn't going to come help you. My father said that the Enclave thought that there were specific complications that prevented us coming to help you, aside from offering aid to refugees and to you to get here to Ganosia. They'll help you but not all your people back home and I found that odd, but I've accepted it. I don't know anything about politics except when those guys speak on the television or that it's the Queen on the money."
Lori daintily bit a chunk of pizza off and, after finishing it, continued to speak to Sam. "Has Aquitayne been able to kick out the invaders yet? I haven't heard too much lately...."Legionica wrote:Prince Xerxes stood leaning against a wall in his full royal regalia, consisting of gold ceremonial armor and his deep red cape. Atop his head was his golden crown, a laurel wreathe fashioned from the woods of the Sonus valley, surrounding his home city of Romanius. He spoke quietly to his assistant for the trip, Vanya.
Vanya smiled, which made her teeth shine brightly. Vanya was once a resident of Western Legionica, being a Gollic Elf. Her family lived in the forests for years, and due to recent events, was now extremely loyal to the Caesar and his son. "Yes, Xerxes. My father is the only living member of my family, now." She wore a simple, yet beautiful toga, accented by her dark brown hair and golden hairpin, which was shaped like the Eagle of Legionica, a national symbol of service to the crown.
Her mind was filled with the thoughts of Ganosia, which was home to Xerxes' family on his mothers side. She had met Judith before, and she was impressed at how the Empress carried herself. Vanya had never been out of the country before, and this all was a new experience to her. The buildings, as foreign as they were, slightly reminded her of the buildings of Mid-Eastern Legionica, where she had been during an Aid event.
While the Alakeshwara family's representatives at the gala swarmed Xerxes to welcome him to the gala after the attendants mechnically had done so themselves, Vanya found herself not only alone without Xerxes around, but she also found herself being stared at by one of the locals, who also happened to be the most handsome man she had ever seen in the whole wide world. But he had merely appeared from behind and held onto her waist - because they had met before in rather specific circumstances (OOC: Roll with it, as we discussed, Legionica, my man!) - while leaning in so his chin rested upon her shoulder while he whispered his greetings into her ear to make her purr in delight, just like an aroused Siran Anderson would do.
"I knew you'd be here for tonight's gala, but I think we need to have our own celebrations, don't you, Van?" said the Prince who managed to appear again, but this time in front of the elven girl that he had fallen in love with, who he was aspiring to marry after he had procured enough finances to keep them afloat, since Ganosian royalty were encouraged to make it on their own rather than depend solely on their blessings like idiots, scapegoats in the propaganda of even worse idiots. He offered his hand and pointed to one of the exits - to the hallway where there'd be certain rooms for the two of them to have fun in, just like typical teenagers, but Charles had extended his hand in such a tender way that implied he would gladly stay here with Vanya if she wanted that or even if she wanted to bother helping Xerxes who was not only swarmed by the Alakeshwara family's representatives in the spirit of solidarity of blood, seeing as how Judith Alakeshwara was his mom, but how Irikah soon came across Xerxes and greeted him.
"Hey, Xerxes! Remember me?" Irikah shouted at him, walking towards him. She had long since forgotten their brief amnity at Fielding and had tried to keep him as a good friend all these years.Kylarnatia wrote:Dianne and Leslies Personal Estate, The Ganosian Capital of Olyan

It was now time for the gala. Dianne had gotten dressed into the saturn dress she had unpacked earlier that day, constantly gliterring within every light she stood in, medals also gleaming proud and with and impressive coat and colour, which would definatly attract attention. Dianne had now left her personal chambers, to allow her partner some time to herself to get prepared, and had made her way across the upper floor of the estate towards the door of her daughters chambers. Standing outside in the glitter of the lights above, she waited for her daughter to emerge. And after some time she did. And, as a true-blooded Kylarnatian, she had made the best attempt to look like an angel.
Agape, only a young teenager and almost ready to stand shoulder-to-shoulder with her mother (5"8'), had fair-blonde hair that streaked across her also round face, steady green eyes gleaming through. She was very pale, almost like a ghost, but her wide smile and cherry lips practically made you think less of it. Wearing a short crop, black dress as any typical teen would, she carried with her a small black purse and around her waist a sash, also decorated with a few decorations, though not as many as her parents. Her heels allowed her to practially look to her mothers face directly, a wide grin on her face. "Hey mum, I see you're ready too. I wish mummy would be as quick as us!" She joked innocently. Dianne laughed along with her. Refrencing to Dianne as 'mum', she refrenced to Leslie as 'mummy' in a more feminine sense, as Dianne was much more stern then Leslie, though just as loving.
"Yes, if only so..." Dianne agreed, beconing Agape to walk more out away from the door, so she could see her better in the light. Truely perfect. "You look beautiful, Agape. You put me and your mother to shame already." Agape blushed at her mothers comment. "Oh, mum, you're such a fibber. I couldn't out-do you or mummy, even at your age." Dianne grinned, though shook her head and placed her hand on Agapes shoulder. "You're a true-blood, Agape, you're born to be an angel." True-blood, meaning Kylarnatian. Before Agape could make another comment, Dianne moved them both along towards the doors of her personal chamber, so they could wait for Leslie. Dianne, while they waited, still studied her daughter. Truely an angel. Though seeing the confusion on her daughters face, she snapped back to reality and knocked lightly on the door.
"Leslie, sweetie, you ready?"

Nicolai took out a notepad and his pen and wrote down 'See if there is a possibility in Germantown to change your name. Pappa looked as in deep thought while Gustavo stepped forward, previously sitting on the hood of one of the cars. His two meter long body and width of the same amount, filled with muscle, didn't help him make people feel comfortable. While Gustavo was ex-Grittonian Mafia and had the nickname 'the Butcher of Port Grittonii', this wasn't due to him slaughtering a bunch of people in Port Grittonia but merely due to the fact that he managed to unify all the Port Grittonii butchers in a effort to send aid to some poor, godforsaken nation. In fact, Gustavo was a very friendly guy, as long as you were his friend, since he didn't feel any remorse in the fact that he needed to shoot a potential threat once in a while. Even now, on a state visit, he was wearing enough weaponry on his to arm a threesome of Civilian Militia-members. Having dual pistols in his suit, a FMG in his pocket, knives built into his shoes and throwing knives next to the dual pistols, he was ready for any emergency. Next to that, Gustavo was a relatively good mechanic, able to repair and upgrade almost any vehicle that was brought before him. However, for now, he simply extended his hand to Miss Boone for a handshake.
''Well, I don't know if you need to know anything about me. I'm just here to protect them in case anything goes wrong. I'm Gustavo, Pappa's bodyguard, mechanic and... Well, what else am I?''
''I guess you could call yourself our Quartermaster, you always know what's in the basement.''
''Oh yeah, thanks Nicolai. Well, there you have it. Quartermaster.''
After Gustavo said that, Pappa was finished thinking. Taking off his sunglasses, showing his piercing blue eyes which were partly from contacts and partly from himself, he looked at Miss Boone.
''Well, miss Boone, I have thought about the information that you should need and well... I'm Pappa, 30 years of age, bisexual with no tendency to either side and currently the Supreme Ruler of Grittonia for a lovely 10 years. My birthday is coming up, together with the end of my 11th year of being Supreme Ruler. I also have my own company, a large multinational entertainment company, Pappa Nick P. Enterprises and thanks to that and my own vocal abilities, I once managed to get the record of most albums sold in the world, which I still keep. The record I mean. Next to that, I'm also a sensei, actor, model and almost anything people need me for, which is also why I'm Supreme Ruler, to help my people. There's also a political ideology named after me, Pappaïsm which I helped forming and... That's it, I guess. Here, take a version of my one of my miniature autobiography 'Pappa, Love, Respect, Supreme Ruler.'.
[/quote]Pappa walked back to his car and got a version of his book and handed it to Miss Boone, before the others started their stories.http://forum.nationstates.net/viewtopic.php?f=23&t=46220&hilit=encyclopedia
^Here are small stories about everyone, except Gustavo. But Gustavo is a enigma.
Riemaia wrote:Claire looked over to Lancelot, noticing that he was looking her over extensively. "Lancelot... that's quite a noble name... I suppose forgetting about everything else and celebrate is the point, though its hard to forget that you just had surgery... no scars thanks to modern medicine though!" She then began to look up at the lighting in the room, and back at Lancelot. "I'm not the one that sells the rations anyways... but I have tried them out personally, they are quite good... gained a little weight in the process actually! Alright, would you like to dance or something?"
Nalaya wrote:Siran smiled at Jacob, clearly entertaining the idea. "Simple dress code, no awkward moments, and a dance I remember all the steps to. Maybe if Quinn won't skin us for a little tête à tête."
Aline's feelings of discomfort were in no way getting any better. She knotted her fingers around Constantine's lapel as they danced, skin pale like ivory. Thank God for Siran and Jacob. They had a way of drawing attention so effortlessly that it seemed wholly incidental. She couldn't find her voice to say anything, however. Words tended to tangle up in her throat when her nerves got going.
Kayaneh almost went red. Thankfully, military bearing didn't exactly allow for that kind of display. Siran had already given her hell for her soft spot for the soldier now speaking to her. She'd seen him on some crosstraining exercises, but she'd just been another face in the crowd at that point. And with all the fluttering happening in her chest, something was clearly about to take off.
"You're too kind, Chief Tommy," she said, looking off guard at his compliment, but pleased to hear it. "I have only trained with Ganosian troops a few times, but they never fail to impress. Another year or two, and they will hardly need us around." She said it with light humor, though it was probably true. She'd have stayed longer (and wished she had), but for the late unpleasantness with Accoltia. "You are army too, I assume. This is a great pleasure." My knees are not going to stay up. Actually, they are, but only because of the creases...must thank past self for that planning.
Over by Irikah, Ohanyan chuckled. "Kaya is very good at hiding her little crush on your officer there, but her body language speaks volumes..." he observed. "Ah, that reminds me." He held out the small package he'd been carrying to Irikah. "From the Intendant. I don't know what it is, as she threatened to break my fingers if I opened it. She can be quite fearsome when she tries."
Legionica wrote:Ganos Lao wrote:While the Alakeshwara family's representatives at the gala swarmed Xerxes to welcome him to the gala after the attendants mechnically had done so themselves, Vanya found herself not only alone without Xerxes around, but she also found herself being stared at by one of the locals, who also happened to be the most handsome man she had ever seen in the whole wide world.
She had long since forgotten their brief amnity at Fielding and had tried to keep him as a good friend all these years.
Vanya kindly accepted it, and curtsied with an odd grace. She seldom did so, as the Legionican royalty was a bit less formal around it's employees. "Lead the way, my Prince." Vanya giggled to herself, lightly. Her teeth shone in the elegant lighting of the ballroom.
Xerxes turned around to see Irikah. To his surprise, she had forgotten, or at least forgone, the anger held towards him at his days in Fielding. "Irikah! How could one forget you?"
OOC: I know, short post, but I got a bit of WB, right now.

I haven't heard too much lately...."

Long story short, Quinn's male guests would be two bathrooms short for a while tonight, but eventually you'd see Jacob and Siran and Charles and Vanya all having non-decadent fun like everyone else was.
On the other hand, there was Xerxes who suddenly was embraced by Irikah in the spirit of friendship between fellow royals, fellow human beings.
"Who would have thought we'd be friends?" Irikah joked after withdrawing from him. "So, did you just arrive? What's going on with you? How's things in Legionica?"

"Well, right now we're still fighting over a city in southern Aquitayne called Helm. It's been pretty much leveled from all of the fighting, but the Comrade Commisar attackers have been completely obliterated, whilst the Japanese attackers are not finding it homely either. From reports, we've destroyed most of their invasion force, preventing them from pushing anywhere into Aquitayne, which is good news." Sam took a bite out of his pizza and took a swig of his water.
"My father probably wants me to meet some of the people around here, but I don't think they'd want to talk to some kid." Sam laughed and looked around a little, trying to identify any national leaders.

Xerxes admittedly blushed, remembering his fight to prove himself by assaulting athletes while nude. "We've been here since last night, we took my father's jet. Things are alright in Legionica. After all, we just sold off Caesar's Pride to Ganosia. I'm sure you've heard of that, though. Quinn's Pride, now. Too bad, really. I'm 'of age', now. Fully a Prince.I've heard that I'm supposed to get my first official post soon enough, now." Xerxes accepted a glass of wine casually, and sipped it cautiously.

Xerxes looked off in thought for a second. "Sho was a good boy. Wish I could see him more often. Lulu... She was more of a thing than a person. Just like all of my colleagues 'special friends' in the harems. Rehan was an amazing person, really." Xerxes blushed slightly as he said her name, remembering how he once poured his heart out for her. Even now, he still felt a little something for her, and it was a bit hard to say the name without having to swallow some pride and tears.

When Sam mentioned the Japanese attackers, those around him and Lori were muttering viciously negative comments about them, some of which were so outright negative that those who said them were literally pretending that they didn't exist, or if they had to exist, that they were merely barbarian tribesmen who were so uncivilized that they had to attack civilized nations out of jealous hatred for them, although the Comraden invaders were given far more respect by the same individuals. Lori merely showed happiness that her boyfriend's nation was safe from harm, but said she didn't know too much about the conflict other than that she religiously watched the newsreels to make sure her Sam was safe from harm, that there'd be an Aquitayne left for her to visit more in depth some day.
"I'm just glad that none of them killed you, Sam," Lori confessed quite happily. She then pointed out the Queen of Ganosia and said that she was sure the Queen wouldn't be rude to him if he sought out an audience with her tonight. Lori took a bite of her pizza and, after finishing it, she pointed out all the royalty and other upper class citizens. "Oh, I feel like those dolls I used to play with as a little girl, Sam, with all these famous people around us. I'm only a commoner and yet I feel as pampered as Yui Oda! Did you know her? She appeared on that magazine about Motokatan anime and she said Miyuki Umino was her favorite director -I love Umino's films! But they're quite sad at times. You ever see that movie she made where she had the little boy take his older sister all around ancient Kurona just to find a cure for her sickness? That poor little boy! It made me cry so much I thought I'd flood my own bedroom."
