OOC: A defensive alliance whose members are not being attacked is probably doing something right.

On the activity front, we could certainly do a wargame of some sort. I am willing to open up my Joint Operations Training Center in the Marshall Islands, if anyone is interested in a combined arms wargame (land, air and sea-based forces working together to achieve the same objective).

The deployments would have to be kept small, at least for ground and land-based air forces, since we are talking about an island. However, naval forces could be whatever size we determine. What does everyone think?

Subject: Condemnation of The Polaris Initiative

The Empire of Milograd hence condemns the Polaris Initiative organization for fostering irresponsible nations such as the United Federation of New Embossia, and the Constitutional Empire of Osthia. The wanton imperialism of both these nations is condemnable to say the least, but personally I cannot help but shudder at the thought of an organization that claims to "fight against tyranny", yet simultaneously shields warmongering nations that are lead by misguided individuals such as the Regent Grace Vurell Dralien of Osthia.

Furthermore, I cannot help but question the Polaris Initiative's platform as a whole. How can one claim to fight against the oppressors and tyrants of this world for the sake of maintaing the sacred institution of democracy, when in reality the nations of Polaris oppress their people by directing more of their concern to the international community whilst neglecting the domestic needs of their people? One cannot, and will not prosper where it counts if they are occupied with the dealings of nations irrelevant to their interests.

The leaders and statesman of the Polaris initiative continue to ignore the fact that internal stability of their nation's should be the first priority of a government, and that blindly supporting wanton interventionism is tyranny in itself. The irony therein has yet to cease to amaze me.

The Empire of Milograd once again clarifies that it hence condemns the Polaris Initiative, and bars any Polaris member state from establishing an embassy within the Empire. If under any circumstances Milograd is attacked, targeted, or threatened by the Polaris Initiative on the grounds that the Empire fits the misguided definition for a "tyranny state"; there will be consequences.

We wish to let you know that the Polaris initiative has overall good classification institutions, that will determine whether or not a nation is capable of passing a criteria that have been mentioned by us before, which is based on the loyalty to democracy and integrity of a nation. Voted in democratic majority by the member states. Though you condemning the Initiative as a whole strikes The Western Republic as odd.

Similar factors show the member states do not have to be equal, disagreements exist within the organisation. For the Republic personally: We think that Osthia (which is still not a official member state) did not pass our personal criteria, and so we unanimously voted no to their first application. Though, if a member state repeatedly tries to join a Organisation that promotes democracy world wide. Then, we personally have no other option than to admit their existence in it. Therefore The Republic of the West uniquely Approves the application of Osthia.

Do not get us wrong all member states are respected democracies which all have their own stance within the Organisation. Initially, we will never force that the initiative has to agree with our statement. Contrarily, we hope we might just hear other opinions within this alliance. That might just disagree with ours. But yet again come up with a democratic solution in which we all are fine.

If the initiative in any way would have been ignoring the fact that internal stability of nations should be the first priority of a government, than I'm needless to say you are totally wrong. Issues within the member states' borders will never have a enormous Polaris influence. Obviously, not that I'm trying to be courageous or anything, but it's not what the Polaris Initiative stands for, nor our duty. Polaris member states are perfectly capable of handling their own problems. Though, if external help of the Polaris is needed. Then results of an ultimatum shall prescribe the outcome. Whether that is military intervention, or anything else.

Therefore I do not see the exact point of The Empire of Milograd as to their condemnation. And hope we might recieve an official clarification to this subject.
