Citiz Ministry of Sport releases details for neutral site games
submitted by BigDaddy11

The format being employed by the hosts this year involves every team playing their final three games on neutral turf in the host nation. Some disagreed with this notion and others favored it, but with the group stage of the 12th World Lacrosse Championships starting to come down the home stretch, all of the teams are preparing for their trip Civil Citizenry. And even those who were opposed to the format can't help but look forward to visiting beautiful Civil Citizenry.

The groups have been divided into different urban areas across the nation. Cosumar, and the rest of Group 7, will be flying to Bartewick after tonight's game. Bartewick, known for the Victorwick ferry and its prisine beaches, is the illustrious capital of Civil Citizenry. A booming lacrosse city, Bartewick has been assigned groups 5-8 of Championships. While Groups 5 & 6 will take to the field at HQ Arena, Groups 7 and 8 (including Cosumar) will venture to the slightly smaller Locale Field for their final 3 games.

"I was sort of reluctant about the decision to play the final 3 games in Civil Citizenry, for reasons I'll keep to myself" Cosumarite defender Thomas Koma said. "However, I've always wanted to visit Rushmore and the photos I've seen of our beach-side hotel look pretty great. Maybe it won't be so bad. We'll just have to remember that we're there to win, not enjoy the views."

Koma's last sentence is incredibly vital. The Dragons have a sweet streak going, it is essential that they don't let the change of scenery throw them off pace.

Dragons "seemingly unstoppable" after thrashing of Allamunnic States
submitted by Slivelleboy

The World Lacrosse Championships is more than halfway over, and believe it or not, Cosumar is one of only two remaining undefeated teams. Last year, when Cosumar was struggling for a .500 win percentage in their group, who would've seen this coming? But who cares? The Dragons are suddenly good. And what's more, it's beginning to feel like (to me at least) that Cosumar cannot be stopped! I guess these feelings come from leftover adrenaline from last night's fist-pumping game against Allamunnic States.

Watching Cosumar pound the Volunteers to death last night was amazing. Maybe they should be called the Voluntears!!! I'm sorry, that was bad. But the game was pretty incredibly for Dragons fans - I actually was expecting one of the Allamunnic guys to start crying - I sure would have! The Dragons won 19-8. It was a scoring frenzy - it was like the goal was a strip of meat and the Cosumarite attackers were a pack of sharks, if that makes sense. Thomas Koma, Sean Barish, and Tracy Sheppard were all over it. Midfielders Francois Aladoule (he's been hot lately) and Anders Deriel also scored.

Anyways, the inspiration for this blog comes from a line I saw in an article from a writer in The Kytler Peninsulae. He wrote that Cosumar was "seemingly unstoppable" and went on to describe their undefeated-ness thus far. I don't think the Dragons are unstoppable (let's say that if they beat Civil Citizenry) but they sure look like it at this point. Mark my words, they'll go undefeated in Group 7 play.

Dyno's Game Preview: Tarrentum @ Cosumar
submitted by Dynomatic!

Group 7 has been dubbed the Group of Death. All for teams are dangerous. Cosumar is undefeated and in top-form, Armorgames possesses one of the most lethal at the attacker position, and the Allamunnic States - while just a shadow of last year's squad, are still incredibly experienced and well coached. Even last place Tarrentum, with its 0-5 record, poses its own threats. In another Group Tarrentum would actually have a shot at advancing - but unfortunately for this Atlantian Oceanian nation, it drew the short stick in the Group Draw.

Cosumar plays Tarrentum for the second time tonight, and all signs indicate that Cosumar will continue to climb up the standings to 6-0 and Tarrentum's stumble will continue to 0-6. But nothing is set in stone - I'm sure we all remember what happened last time Cosumar hosted Tarrentum. Falling behind, comeback, overtime....yeah you remember now.

Tarrentum is not a bad team, and even though they know they won't advance, no team wants to be winless and Tarrentum without a doubt will give Cosumar all the hell they can handle. I'm predicting a Cosumarite victory but expect another thriller that goes down to the final minutes.

OT Thriller

After last nights game against Bucknia, Everybody can almost agree that Bucknia is close or out of the picture. No, the biggest problem is Wolfmanne. Wolfmanne is tied with camwood and only is two goals away from actually being in first seed.

Last night's game against Bucknia was close...almost too close. Camwood's power attack scored four goals in the first quarter to leave bucknia with two. The second was flip flopped Bucknia scored four and Camwood only had two goals. And in both the third and fourth the scores were even until the score was twelve a piece at the end of regulation. On to Overtime.

Camwood won the opening face off of the sudden death extra time and came down to the top left position. as predictible they eventually got the ball to X, ran a cutter and scored. It took 1:29 and a general malfunction of Bucknian defense.

The Blue Jays will now fly out to Civil Citizenry to play their neutral games. The Citiz Ministry of Sport relesead that group four will play in the city of Eastern Chase. They will play in the 16,00 capacity Chase Stadium against Newmanistan tonight. two thirds hae gone by, but now the deciding games.

ARMORGAMES NEWS

Hello, I am Marice Matts.

Armorgames is still playing great lacrosse. They have beat The Allamunnic States 16-10. AG have kept up the scoring and now has 104 goals through six games. The next best has 80. It is just crazy how good they have been. Except against Cosumar. They still need to beat them.

Elijah Enmon was out with an injury in the match. He is expected back soon. Timmy Rottinghaus gets the start at defense.

So, now lets talk about the game. Armorgames just played absolutley amazing on both sides. The defense was shutting down the Allamunnic States offense, and out offense was overpowering. AG was also playing petty rough again, and that helped out the defense with stopping AS.

I don't really feel like talking about who scored for The Allamunnic States, so I won't. I don't care if I am supposed too, I am going to just talk about AG scorers. So if you have a problem with that, deal with it.

I am going to go back to the list of scorers since I like that better.

Rarhael Paulik gets four goals. He remains hot and he has been one of the best scorers on the team.
Moises Mcinturf scores three times. All in the second quarter.
Dane Decristoforo gets two goals. He also had a pretty good game.
Armand Galas also collects two goals. He is a pretty consistent scorer.
Ali Lorkowski scores two goals of his own. Both were unassisted.
Thaddeus Garoner scored twice. He came in as a sub.
Timmy Rottinghaus scores once. His second goal in as many games.

Oh, I am also not going to give the total list of scoring for this season. We are just scoring too much.

And I also got a new blog. I don't know what it is called so I can't tell you. I will call my webmaster person after I am done here and I will tell you about it after my next report.

So, I think that is all here. Okay so bye.

3rd place in 12th World Lacrosse Championships
2nd in the inaugural U-18 IBC.

Two in a row

OUr WG team after starting the WLC 2-2 has now won their last two. Now 4-2 and first in group two the national team defeated Jamalon 15-7 in front of a Jamalon crowd of some 6,000 and gave the home team a shock. Coach LA Huey is very happy now that after a few struggles at the start the team is now getting better and winning which he likes to see.
"It's nice now to see us winning and trying to pull away from everyone else in the gourp, however now we still have three games left and they'll be on even ground, but I still have very high expectations for us. At the start of this I said we might go 5-4, i'm rethinking that I know will say we'll go maybe 7-2 or 6-3."
Well Coach La Huey still has high expectations but we asked him since WG has a lead in the group what does he think about advancing into the playoffs.
"Ha, normally in a tight race like this I wouldn't be thinking this right now, but with the bottom two at 2-4 and we keep getting better our chances at going forward look very good, however do I expect us to win it all, no. There are better teams out there that have been playing longer and have gone up against better oppnets."

VCNMN's Coverage of the World Lacrosse Championships XII

Frederick Reigh here. It seems that Vulshain has indeed bounced back after beating both Carmadin and Evoca. "I'm very proud of my players and this team. Even after losing two games, the Shining Canines refused to give up. They give it their all no matter what happens. They and I are very determined," Head Coach Galiena Hedwig said. The Shining Canines played excellently on both defense and offense, keeping Evoca from scoring anymore goals after Evoca scored their first and only point in the very beginning of the game. Against Carmadin, Vulshain was behind 7 to 3, but somehow came back from behind, defeating Carmadin by fourteen more points by the end of the game. Now that's what I call bouncing back!

Today being Matchday Seven means Vulshain goes up against Stuffed Taxidermists. Stuffed Taxidermists defeated Vulshain last time. Will the same result happen again? Not if the Shining Canines have anything to say about it. They are training their tails off as they are determined to go all the way for the gold. This is Frederick Reigh for VCNMN who is also keeping his fingers crossed and cheering the Shining Canines onto victory!

Who would have thought, not so long ago, that the same Team KP who lost their first two games - including a humiliating home defeat to a Monfortia side fresh from being destroyed by Delaclava on their own home field - would now be listed top of their group? Essentially nobody.

Admittedly, it's joint-top, but the Kytlerians now possess a 4-2 record and have defeated Delaclava both home and away, edging out a 13-12 thriller in Roddens last night to comprehensively wash away memories of their agonising opening defeat to Cotdelapoms, whom they play in Civil Citizenry next as the tournament moves from home-and-away contests to settle in one of the world's leading lacrosse-playing nations.

Delaclava started strongly, racing into a 4-1 lead in the first nine minutes, but two quick goals from Ock Fils - fast becoming an icon of national harmony while still in his teens, thanks to his unusual Vephra-aboriginal heritage - meant the game remained tight after one quarter. The teams exchanged goals through the second quarter, Delaclava doubling their lead before seeing it cut in half again, the crowd roaring their approval at goals from Caine McNally, Sze-Ying Chan, and then McNally again. 7-6 at half-time, and it had to be said that the standard of play was impressive from both sides.

The third quarter proved decisive, as Delaclavan defenders Mir Kuznetsov and Jordan Mason made individual errors that allowed McNally and Fils all sorts of space. McNally's ferocious shot allowed him to take full advantage of that space, and he added three goals in the quarter to take his tally to five. With Fils and Sze-Ying also scoring in the third quarter, and Steve Smyth's long-range effort the only Delaclavan goal in the period, the Kytlerians suddenly had a comfortable-looking 11-8 lead.

Nothing is ever comfortable in this sport, of course, and within four minutes Delaclava were back to 11-10 thanks to goals from Jason Music and Ryan Young. Team KP steadied the ship with midfield substitutions, Marcus Hamilton promptly set up Andy Shepherd for a goal, and all seemed safe again when, with only four minutes to go, McNally's 20-metre thunderbolt left Victor Hendrix stranded and Team KP 13-10 up. Joe O'Murdha came off the bench for one quick goal, and concern became full-on anxiety when Music's speculative shot slipped past Whootung Whosash, who should have done better. Delaclava shot on sight, and appeared to have secured overtime when Young was offered a clear-cut chance, but Whosash secured redemption with a superb save.

Those prayers to Margaret sure are working out. What was lacking on defense last night was compensated for in offense, and this team is starting to look like a complete one now.

The Kytlerians are understood to be ahead of Delaclava on head-to-head record - both have gone 4-2 in the home-and-away games, but Team KP have won both of the games between the two. Cotdelapoms' surprise 13-10 home defeat to Monfortia means that Team KP can effectively guarantee a knockout berth with victory over Cotdelapoms in the first of the final games to take place in the capital of Bartewick. The game at 12,000-seat Locale Field has already sold out, with Cotdelapoms providing a particularly large contingent of fans across the Sea of Victory. Given their position in the group, and Team KP's form, that will have to be a pretty prophetic journey for them.

Dragons defense dominates in low scoring affair versus Tarrentum
submitted by drewstokes

The hallmark of the 12th edition of the World Lacrosse Championships thus far has been the exceptionally low scores. A competition in which fans normally expect to see deadly offenses shoot it out has suddenly become host to a surprising quanity of games where neither team reaches double digits.

Last night, a Group 3 match between Evoca and Vulshain only mustered 5 goals total. Wolfmanne and Newmanistan followed suit, finishing regulation tied up 6-6. Similarly low scoring games littered the results of matchday 6, and have done so throughout the tournament. And even with Tracy Sheppard and a fearless trio of attackers, the Dragons could not escape the grip of the recent low scoring trend - winning 9-3.

The Dragons attackers had carried them to their previous 5 victories, but it was the Cosumarite defense that won it against Tarrentum last night. The attackers were struggling against a stout Tarrentum defense. But luckily, the young trio of defenders (avg. age of 23) stepped up to the plate and held Tarrentum to only 3 goals - one of the best defensive displays in World Lacrosse Championships history.

Honestly, the Cosumarite midfield and attack played like a load of hokey. But when a team starts finding ways to win games despite playing less than top notch - that's when you know they've got a shot at going far. And for the first time in my lifetime, the Dragons are showing those signs that they might be ready to bring Cosumar its first Championship in a sport since they won the NS Arena Bowl III in Sarzonia.

Despite the relative lack of production by the offense, Tracy Sheppard carried the team in that regard once again. Sheppard, who was recently awarded with the Kloepper Shield, scored six of the team's nine. Sean Barish scored two, while Keenan Kurvat was credited with the final goal. While Kurvat was credited with the final goal, it is Thomas Koma who should be credited with the entire win. The young defender was simply spectacular and, with help from Marcus Warrick and Kameron Olman, single-handedly shut down the Tarrentian offense.

The Dragons are now 6-0, while Tarrentum has become the polar opposite at 0-6. Tonight, the Dragons play the red-hot Armorgames offense. Let's hope the defenders keep up the good work, and hope the attackers pick up the slack.

Sheppard honored with Kloepper Shield
submitted by #1SheppardFan

The Kloepper Shield: one of the most prestigious awards in Cosumarite sports culture. I'm sure that most of you guys here at DL know what it is and its significance. But for those of you who are either foreign or currently reside under a boulder - I've quoted a statement from the Kloepper Shield's website.

"The Kloepper (Keh-lepp-er) Shield is a trophy built from pure silver. She is annually awarded to one Cosumarite who has brought glory and honor to the Fiefdom on the field of sport. An esteemed committee votes on several nominated Cosumarite athletes and selects one winner every year. She is widely regarded as the greatest honor a Cosumarite athlete can receive"

Well there you have it. It's apretty big deal. And earlier this week, the Kloepper Shield Committee announced that TRACY SHEPPARD was this year's grand recipient. A lacrosse player! Sheppard beat out even Irvinn Rincon who just led the football team to the Round of 16 in the World Cup! Looks like the Dragons' success in the World Lacrosse Championships is doing just what I hoped it would - bring more recognition to the sport we all love.

Dyno's Game Preview: Cosumar vs. Armorgames
submitted by Dynomatic!

Every sports fan knows that no matter who the opponent is - it is incredibly difficult to beat a team three times in a row. In football, basketball, tennis, and yes - even lacrosse. This verity is amplified thousandfold when the opponent is one as dynamic as Armorgames. The Dragons have defeated Armorgames and their firepowered offense twice already, but one can't help but think it's highly unlikely that even the Dragons could defeeat such a team three times.

The defense was impressive against Tarrentum - but there's no way Armorgames will be held to three goals. Face it, games against Armorgames are always an offensive shootout. Sheppard and company will need to exceed last night's grand total of 9 goals. Even with the Kloepper Shield on his mantle, Sheppard will still have to work like a mule to get this team over the hump against Armorgames.

As if the whole Kloepper Shield deal wasn't distraction enough, the Dragons' practice time was dramatically shortened due to complication with their travel to Civil Citizenry. Locale Field is waiting. If the Dragons want to stay undefeated, they'd better work their butts off today - Victorwick Ferry can wait until after the playoffs.

It saddens me to say this, but look for Cosumarite to be dealt their first loss tonight against Armorgames.

Yesterday the WG team took on the 2-4 Crolacia team and won 15-4 to the surprise anymore of no one especially Coach La Huey who was caught saying during half time , "We're going to the playoffs". We asked Coach La Huey about that comment.
"Well when I can see something good happening or on the brink I take action, and now I feel very good where we sit in the group. We're now 5-2 and in first we're starting to go places finally and I am seeing big things to happen with this team, like I said yesterday I don't expect us to win it all, this being our first time but I do see it happening some time in the future."

If that wasn't surprising enough Todd Helin CEO/owner of this newspaper said, "no matter the out come of our team I'm ready with the help of three other finical people to re-start a new lacrosse league in our country. I have talked to some investors who are making a bit of money out of this who are prepared to re-create the National Lacrosse League again. We hope the first season can get under way at lest two weeks after the WLC XII ends, we'll start small with only 4 teams playing nine games, then later on we hope for a maximum of twelve teams."

If the national team can win tomorrow we can almost expect to have the green card and advance to the next round, even with one game yet to play. Like everyday here's the current standings from Group 2

Lacrosse

On the Line

Wierd things happen when the game goes to overtime. By wierd I mean the goalie chokes, and Wolfmanne manages to go from zero to hero. After 6 Matchdays the blue jays were finally dethroned by Wolfmanne who came from nowhere. But Newmanistan managed to preail and avoid elimination by beating Camwood in over time, sixteen to fifteen.

In the first quarter Newmanitan scored four, goals but Camwood only scored three. One goal was by Patrick Dunlevy starting behind the net and wrapping around the crease and going bottom left. Craig Bedford came down on a fastbreak to also score one goal, while the third of the quarter was scored by the defenseman James Boddie, after clearing the ball and taking it to the net.

At half time the score was tied at seven a piece. with the Camian attackers, Robert Pepper and Steven Hochstetler coming away 3 goals while Middy Jacob Jeanbaptiste scored one during a cut to the hole. however Newmanistan's goalie Jason Butler had 12 saves over the second quarter alone.

The third was a great quarter for Camwood. The defense managed to shut out Newmanistan. It was Camwood's second shut out quarter in Team Camwood History. During the shut out Camwood scored 3 goals to make the score ten, seven. The fourth got out of hand though, Camwood''s goalie basically choked letting six goals, while Camwood's stellar midfield line scored three more points mainly on man advantage. joe Baird came off the bench and helped out with providing two assists. The second game in a row went into overtime; the game scored at thirteen, thirteen.

Overtime was hectic, with five goals scored in all. Adventually, Newmanistan came away with a wining goal making the final score sixteen, fifteen. There probably won't be any clinches, unless Camwood beats Wolfmanne, and Bucknia beats Newmanistan. If that happens, Newmanistan will be eliminated and the team in first will most llikely clinch the seed. To take back first Camwood needs to beat Wolfmanne by at least tow points. The group stage is coming down on two, with everything all on the line.

ARMORGAMES NEWS

Uh oh, we're in trouble. And I am Marice Matts.

Armorgames has lost their third game to Cosumar. With the loss, AG is in a lot of trouble of making the next round. Armorgames has just not been able to beat Cosumar, but they have crushed everybody else in their group.

So, Armorgames lost 17-8, and this low scoring-ness is very not like AG. People are used to seeing them put up 20 or more goals, so 8 is like embarrassing. Armorgames really needed a win here since it will be hard to beat Tarrentum and The Allamunnic States for a third time.

Armorgames didn't even stand a chance against Cosumar yesterday. They did not come out ready. But, Armorgames is the only team to have scored 100 or more goals so far.

The people who scored for AG were Dane Decristoforo, Armand Galas, and Moises Mcinturf.

Okay, so I don't know if I can continue on with this report. So I am going to go leave now, but I have to say one more thing, Armorgames has to win their next game, or their chances are pretty much over.

So, I am leaving. Okay bye.

VCNMN's Coverage of the World Lacrosse Championships XII

Frederick Reigh here. Vulshain had an intense game against Stuffed Taxidermists. The game went into overtime, but the Shining Canines were victorious. Some fans were literally biting their nails as the two rivals went head to head. "They played a tough game," team captain Chika Keiros said. Chika, Kalman Tojomar, Adalwolfa Albertyia, and Zinerva Mavra were the scorers with Kalman Tojomar scoring the most goals, and was the one who made the final point for Vulshain. "I just went for it," Kalman Tojomar told VCNMN.

This has been one of exciting season for the World Lacrosse Championships. Now, an eager Carmadin is gearing up to make a comeback against Vulshain. Many fans of Carmadin are hoping that the team from Carmadin comes back from defeat after the punishing the defeat from Vulshain last time. "They're good, but we've been practicing very hard. We're not about to back down now," assistant coach Ahren Bohdan said as the Shining Canines practice long and hard, strengthening their defenses and attacks for the coming game.

"I've very proud of these players. The Shining Canines has come a long way to get here," head coach Galiena Hedwig commented on her team's performance.

This is Frederick Reigh for VCNMN's 12th World Lacrosse Championships Coverage. Good luck out there Shining Canines!

In the eyes of Kytlerians, Monfortia seem to be a little better than their record suggests. Maybe they have a bit more of their world-famous beef before they play Team KP. Or a little less, perhaps. Either way, the team that were crushed by Delaclava then won in Roddens are just starting to pick up steam now, albeit too late to avoid elimination, having taken Delaclava to overtime in an astonishing game that finished 17-17 at the end of regulation. This would be a meaningful challenge for the Kytlerians, and a plausible roadblock to top spot in the group, with the resultant avoidance of a Cosumar team who have won their first seven games. Not their first eight, mind; earlier in the day in Bartewick, the Allamunnic States suddenly rediscovered the form that made them champions last time out, defeating Cosumar 12-8 to retain a flicker of hope of playoff qualification - a flicker that turned into a genuinely significant flame as Armorgames were humbled 17-9 by Tarrentum, who had not won a game all tournament.

What an incentive that could be, winning the group and then potentially eliminating the champions. Now that would get the team, and their desperately young nation, noticed. First, though, there was this game. And they came out flying, with four unanswered goals in the first quarter. However, the remainder of the game will have left fans asking "where's the beef?" - or at least recognising it was in the Monfortians, who outscored Team KP in both the second and third quarter to move to 7-6 before the favourites stepped up a gear to ease through 10-7, Sze-Ying Chan scoring one and creating the other two in the fourth quarter.

Delaclava destroyed Cotdelapoms in the other fixture, and now their meeting with the Kytlerians will - as many had come to expect - be a straight shootout for the group victory and the right to play someone less intimidating than Cosumar. To think that the defending champions can count as "less intimidating" is quite remarkable. Not, though, as remarkable as the results that have come since the Kytlerians discovered the goddess of random numbers...

Carmadin dropped their group title matchup with Vulshain 12-4. The team played well, but it was clear that Vulshain had been practicing hard, and they played like it.

Stuffed Taxidermists defeated Evoca in the other match, so, although Team Carmadin lost, they Recieve a berth into the round of 16! Carmadin plays Stuffed Taxidermists to close out the season, and Vulshain will go up against Evoca.

The country's most popular daytime game show, "Race To A Million", is airing on the TV3 network.

HOST: Carol, you now have 195,200 toaks, and more importantly you're still in this round with that all values multiplier of four. James, looking to catch up here, pick a square.
JAMES: Number 12, please.
HOST: OK, number 12... it's...

A large LED display reveals an animated bomb. The crowd groans. A fraction of a second later, the picture cuts abruptly to a rather more sophisticated CGI graphic, with portentous fast orchestral music - strings playing frantic syncopated rhythms low in their respective ranges, followed swiftly by a short, urgent brass melody at which point the words "TV3 Special Report" appear on the screen. Cut to a bedraggled newsreader.

ADAM: This is a TV3 Special Report, Adam Parkinson reporting from Zube. We interrupt normal programming to bring you an important announcement from the Citiz capital of Bartewick, relating to the World Lacrosse Championships, in which the Kytlerian team are of course playing. Split-screen display shows a generically attractive white female, not quite of middle age, standing inside what looks to be a theatre or a small convention centre. Joining us from there is Elizabeth Sedgewick - and it sounds as though something drastic has happened?

ELIZABETH: Certainly unexpected, yes - it's a confirmation that the knockout rounds are going to work very differently to how we all expected, and it could be good news for the Kytlerian team. We previously understood that the winner of group 8 - that's the group the Kytlerian team are in - would play the runner-up in group 7, and so on with pairs of groups like that. But we've now had it confirmed that there will be a seeding system based on the records in group play, with the group winners getting the top eight seeds. What that means is that the Kytlerians are almost certainly not going to be facing Cosumar in the second round, even if they lose their next match to Delaclava - because Cosumar have one of the best records of all the group winning teams, and the Kytlerians will have one of the best records of group runners-up even if they lose tomorrow, so as I understand it there is no way the two teams will play each other. A lot of pressure taken off that Delaclava game now, Adam.

Quick cut to split screen. A banner has now appeared with "TV3 SPECIAL REPORT" on top, followed in a different colour combination with "WLC playoffs format "to work very differently" to expectations."

ADAM: The question that everyone is going to be asking is why did we not know this much sooner?

ELIZABETH: We just don't know that. The teams haven't really focused on it up until now, they've just been focusing on winning their games, but when you have a situation like this where you think that if you lose one game you're going to have to face a dominant team, and then suddenly you find that's not the case, that's gotta throw anyone off their game. I just hope this hasn't distracted the team too much over here in Bartewick - we'll no doubt hear from them soon, and hopefully we'll get a better picture.

The banner now reads "Team KP will not play Cosumar in second round even if they lose to Delaclava tomorrow." Cut to split screen.

ADAM: Elizabeth, thank you. Cut to full-screen on Adam. Obviously we'll bring you more on this developing story later, but for now we return to your regular programming. For TV3 News, I'm Adam Parkinson.

Return to that game show.

HOST: Carol! Wow, you must be pretty confused with all these twists and turns in this game...
CAROL: Yeah...

VCNMN's Coverage of the World Lacrosse Championships XII

Frederick Reigh here. Vulshain went up against Carmadin and won. The Shining Canines went onto victory. Team Captain Chika Keiros scored the most points in the game. "It was an exciting match," team captain Chika Keiros said. Things are heating up as all of the groups play at the best. Who will go onto the finals? We'll just have to wait and see. Hopefully, Vulshain will make it to the finals and win the gold.

This has been one of exciting season for the World Lacrosse Championships, there's no doubting that. Evoca goes up against Vulshain for a rematch. "They're good, but we've been practicing very hard. They have some good defenses, which we're going to have to break through," head coach Galiena Hedwig said as she commented on the team from Evoca.

This is Frederick Reigh for VCNMN's Coverage of the 12th World Lacrosse Championships! Good luck out there Shining Canines!

ARMORGAMES NEWS

Oh no, oh no no no no no no no noooooooooooooooooooo. And I am Marice Matts.

Well, Armorgames lost to Tarrentum, which is there first win of the year. And The Allamunnic States beat Cosumar for their first loss of this tournament. And with that, we are tied with the Allamunnic States with the last game of the group play, and it is all or nothing. The winner moves on to the next round. And the loser is done.

Armorgames has beat the Allamunnic States twice already, and it is going to be nearly impossible to beat them three times. So, Armorgames might not make it to the next round, even with their high scoring.

So, Armorgames lost 17-9. Yes, AG scored less then 10 again. And it is very disturbing to me. Elijah Enmon has been injured for the past like three or four games, but should be back by the next game against The Allamunnic States.

There were three people who scored in this game for AG, Hal Abend, Ali Lorkowski, and Rarhael Paulik. They each scored three times.

So this is bad, real bad. And this Armorgames team might be heading off to the Olympics sooner then they thought they were going to.

Now back to the HQ.

Lacrosse

Somewhat Clinched

After reviewing the seedings, it's been detirmined that Camwood has somewhat clinched a seed int the playoffs. According to the tie breaking rules, in the event of a loss to Bucknia, Camwood would advance regardless of goal difference because, Camwood has won both games against Bucknia. According to the tournament standings this isn't so, but we at PBC Sports believe Camwood will qualify to reach the Round of Sixteen.

Camwood, somehow lost to Wolfmanne, with a score of eleven to ten. It was relatively low scoring and evenly matched. Camwood's attackers jumped up quickly expanding to a three nothing lead in the first quarter. The second quarter narrowed bringing Camwood's lead to five to four. The third quarter ended with a tied score at eight per team. Then the fourth followed a pattern. Camwood scored, Wolfmanne scored, and repeat until with a minute and fifteen seconds to go the score was ten to ten.

Then it happened. The Wolfmanne midfield came down the left sideline, with the clock slowly but surely winding down. The midfielder passed the ball across field to meet an attacker just right of the crease. It caught the defense off guard. The player ran twards then net and skipped one in leaving Camwood out to dry.

"Damn it," Cursed Coach Tolman after the game. "If we'd stop freaking choking we'd actually be a worthwile team."

Carmadin Has Ro16 Matchup with Lacrosse Rivals

Carmadin's first knockout round matchup will be against group rival Vulshain. Vulshain grabbed the #5 Seed after defeating Evoca, and Carmadin is #12, having crushed Stuffed Taxidermists. Carmadin has not beaten vulshain yet, but this time will be different. We believe in our team!!!!!!!!

GO CARMADIN!!!!!!!
