International Domestic Soccer Discussion

Postby Queer Poco el Mono Ara » Mon Jun 08, 2009 2:23 am

With the link to Jolt gone are those who have domestic leagues going to move them over here?

Or are those nations going to continue using Jolt because they can still access it? if we are moving over here, then heres a newswires thread.

Let's not get ahead of ourselves, now. We won't be moving until the upcoming round of international tournaments is complete in the next week, so as to avoid a weird jump. Best to ignore this thread until then, otherwise with two active threads for the same thing it won't be easy for the TQCC/GC/SBCC stuff to be done.

Well thanks for that, it was more a question as to whether/when the shift was occuring than establishing a new thread. Just felt a tad deserted with the link to Jolt gone.. even though you can obviously still access it.

Felt a bit impending doom-esque with it not being just there on the left.

Thanks.

And in typical fashion something I thought I'd done previously works after being instructed to do so by someone else. For a while there I was under the assumption I couldn't log on because it was something to do with NS and the log in was tied into it somehow and having never registered directly to jolt may have resulted in the username not being registered. As is easy to assume from this I'm not great with computers and this wasn't even a big problem.

This will have to clear with DNAA (Delaclava National Athletic Association) first, but if it does clear then Delaclava will send defender Sheldon Berrera to Taeshan.

If thats what you want. You will need to pick a team though. Either the Atlantea Hurricanes, the Bayern Phoenix, or the wiechester Fc squad.(all other teams have not page on the wiki and thus i would not be able to keep track untill someone can do Jerseys so im forced to do a page).

Could you not keep track using a database e.g. Excel or calc? Makes it easy to organise a much larger number of players.

It helps immensely. For example I can look on it and see that I only have one player playing internationally. I can then decide to send a couple of National Team players to the Atlantea Hurricanes and change their status quickly in my own files so I can update it correctly when I make my WC47 roster thread.

The following Arrozan National Team players would like to be transferred to the Atlantea Hurricanes.
GK - Teresa Manzinilla
M - Ryan McIntosh

you don't have to have one, I'm just agreeing with the poster that said that it can make things easier if you're the type of person who thrives on continuity. If you like to basically start from scratch and ignore history it'll be a lot less useful.

Since this has effectively become the OOC discussion thread, maybe Queer Poco could edit the original post to change the topic title to "International Domestic Soccer Discussion"?

ATN Television would be happy to give news of these transfers in nations at a low fee. Just state your currency, and the networks you want (ATN One, ATN Two, ATN Sport, and/or ATN All-Sport), and translate them, and we can give a reasonable price.

That would be Allemenschen, and no - I don't have any expectation that purple-stinging nellies would be following Han players, unless they were stopped in Allemenschen.
