Confirming that Creciente will compete in Cygnus Cup 8

Copa del Sol 1 Summary

Creciente can consider it a job well done this season with a strong outing in the first Primera Liga topped with a great first Cup win. The team have proven to be one to watch and next season watch for a march on UICA qualification.

It was a fairly straightforward start for Los Vinateros with a home win over Marroquíes, although the 1-0 margin was a little unflattering. A potential banana-skin was avoided in the second round, winning 2-1 at Unión Sindicato who had a good season in the Próximo. Solid 2-0 wins against Espanyol (home) and Arsenál (away) followed, putting Creciente into the quarters against once-mighty Marquez. Another 1-0 win and a semi-final against surprise package AS Tito was easily managed with a convincing 4-0 victory.

So to the final against holders Atlético, after they won the rehearsal, or Prequela, against all the odds the season before. Fans favourite Peter Goossens ensured his place in Creciente history with the winning goal on 68 minutes.

Liga Regional side AS Tito really were the surprise of the tournament, getting perhaps the biggest victory of the whole competition in Round One when they beat Los Mineros out west. A glorious run to the semis unfolded, knocking out higher ranked competition in every round, including the other great shock of the competition when, in the quarters, they put out eventual Primera champions Astillero.

First round was not much for upsets as the teams involved were mostly of the 3rd and fourth divisions so as to ranking them much was up for gabs. The only side to not make it through the round that many were surprised at were Williamsburg Whiteout led by National team member Gwyn Juniper who many see leaving the team do to poor results, they lost to Greenville Glory a former top level side who have recently started t fall from there earlier form.

The second round also lacked much of the previous years tourney upsets and glory. As the big teams entered the tourney was much expected to go the way of the topsides and it did. Sk Nether United FC thoguh took down topside Real Chinchinhua in an upset fo rhte ages but with the young talent on that squad its not really surpising. Other second round loses saw runner up from last year X Island lose to Los Riosa, cup darlings from the previous year Moresville FC lose in their second tourney, and Brucklyin FC took down second flight Pwux Panthers.

Championship

Uh well cup final...Tintown defeated Sk Nethers United FC...and Mt Ceabring took down Loachen who qualify to the SBCC because of being the higher of the two lower division teams to make it to the semis. In the final Tintown saw an early Ben Dover goal that made it look like throughout much of the game that they would win the championship, but to no avail. A 67th minute Arturo Arthur goal saw the Thunder tie it and it went to extra time after no more goals were conceded. The Thunder would win the cup when Chris Thonrton scored from the penalty mark in the 99th minute after a horrible foul in the penalty area. The second Fadron Pizza Trophy goes to Mt Ceabring.

So Mt Ceabring are Cup Champions and advance to the Cygnus Cup, and Sk Nethers United FC becomes the first Taeshani team to qualify for the SBCC by making it the farthest of any lower division team in the Cup.

Preliminary Draw

As you well know, the SFA Cup has expanded to include all clubs within the SFA pyramid now. Format is as follows:

There are 38 teams currently in participation
The bottom 12 teams (all from the National League) will have matches draw at random. The winners of those matches will move on to the final 32.
The final 32 will be an unseeded random draw to start, with winners moving on down the bracket until there is one winner.

Cygnus Cup VIII

The eighth Cygnus Cup welcomes a record thirty-two teams from thirty-one associations; and the magic number of 2⁵ means there's no qualifying round, and one extra round "proper" this time around.

Reigning champions Dunboor will have a hard task to retain the trophy, with the might of Raynor City United, Ranca Toco, and world champions Qidade Savana in the mix; there's also Mountbatten Junction, signifying Ad'ihan's return to the competition.

and is fittingly sponsored by the Sikane Rod Association. The team

will look to avoid following their foes in Karela into the Erste Liga next

late rounds of the TQCC. The team is commonly known as the Canes

Finally Cape Renko has won their first title after many years of dawdling around and finishing second and fourth and such. In the end it was quite a comfortable buffer that separated first place from second place, with Cape Renko leading the Eastern Rangers by 11 points after the final match day’s conclusion. Cape Renko had a fantastic season, scoring 140 of the best throughout the season, but still their key strikers Xven and McKenzies couldn’t get the Golden Boot, with Horhae Ronazo winning his second in a row for Wanderers. Now in his early thirties, Ronazo is still the dominant striker in Stuffed Taxidermists football, and finished in a respectable seventh place in the Machiavelli Medal. The Rangers finished in second place, and even though owner William Vanie brought riches and fame to the Rangers they still cannot win a title. Vanie, although known for his terrible temper, has stated that he is happy with this season’s performance and is staying committed to them permanently. Thaplace City Tigers finished a respectable third in the year after their first title, but didn’t show the skill and determination they had last season. Their star midfielder, Machiavelli, won his second Machiavelli Medal straight, showing it was no fluke that he won the medal that was named after him the first time. Wanderers ageing squad could do no better than fourth, going through the season with many injuries and doubts. Horhae Ronazo held his team up with 51 goals and some crucial assists throughout the season. Thaplace City United got a better than usual finish, placing fifth and playing well at that. The team attacked fiercely throughout the season, but that left them open to counter attacks and they only finished 14 goals positive. Denzio Demons had a very impressive season, finally reaching the top six, and performing very well at their newly renovated Stadium and with their new players. Gonesville Eels came back from the seemingly dead this season, finishing seventh after finishing ninth last season. Their midfield came back to life and got them a crucial spot in seventh. Herseld finished in eighth, rounding out the op part of the table. The supporters and players of the team expected a little bit more, maybe even a top six spot, but in the end Gonesville and Denzio were too good. In their first year, FC Cantac 1899’s mainly Irish line up performed well, better than expected anyway. Most agree that they could be a true threat in future seasons, and will challenge Herseld for a top eight spot next season. Tenth spot was taken by Denborough, who had an average season and were probably expected to come around ninth, but FC Cantac stole that spot. The loss of Mack John really did affect the team and they will need a new striker. There are rumours they may even look for a foreign striker. Brenton Athletic finished eleventh in what was a season everyone expected from the team that missed out on relegation. Their fate could just as easily have been like Kenworth’s. The Gonesville Knights finished twelfth in their first season in the Premier League, sealing a spot for the future and getting some decent wins throughout the season. The national team from Wostone finished behind them in thirteenth, avoiding relegation effectively and playing average football throughout the year. Finishing in fourteenth, with by far the worst season they have every played, were the Western Hillmen. Their playing style and skill was several levels below that of their game play in their last Championship year, and it was a miracle they weren’t relegated, getting through on goal difference only. Taking out the first relegation spot was Vladintosk Vinkroksi, in what could only be described as bad luck. The Hillmen were consistently playing worse every week, whilst Vinkroksi’s line up was ravaged by injury and couldn’t get the result needed. It was no surprise to anyone that Southern FC took the second relegation spot, being underfunded and undermanned. Their Second Division future doesn’t look that bright either, and they’ll probably settle for a mid table spot.

The Second Division had surprise winner in Honda FC, who was not expected to make the top four at the start of the season, let alone win the league. Nochinville finished in second, taking the second promotion spot and finally after many years hard work being promoted. Finishing a distant 15 points behind Nochinville was Retuka Town, who should’ve made more of their season but should be promoted next season. Yun City rounded out the top four, only two seasons since they were promoted from the Third Division. Although the finished with negative goal difference, it was still a good season for Yun. Ravton Town finished in a satisfying fifth, which should put them in a good position for promotion in future seasons. Quendo City rounded out the top six with a pretty good season, but not good enough to get a crucial spot. Jifcel United were behind them in seventh. Eighth spot was taken by Tungo City, who lost more games than they won. The rest of the field had bad seasons in general, with Denzio United and Dalefield Town taking out the relegation spots.

The Third Division was won by Zenton FC, who will go back to the Second Division after being relegated in their first season. Quendo united took second place, therefore making it to the Second Division. Their promotion means the Quendo derby can finally take place, and we should see some tight matches between the two teams. Bailey State FC claimed third, finishing ahead of rivals Bailey District, but neither team had what it took to be promoted. The Anton Leopards finished fifth, improving vastly throughout the year and showing they have the potential to get out of the Third Division. Sixth was Port Montagna who also improved throughout the season, and may push for the top four next season. Tippet Hawks were seventh, and they finally look like a team that puts in effort and can play a full match of football. Underwarn FC were the team that rounded out the top eight, playing well and putting their last place finish a while ago in the back of their minds. Teams below Underwarn generally had less than impressive seasons, and the bottom two spots were taken out by Yun Rovers and Valada Vinkroksi, making them the worst teams in Stuffed Taxidermists football.

Trofeo del Príncipe Second Edition

Following the end of the VI Super Cup and the UICA cycle, it's time for the second edition of the Torneo del Príncipe. Impressed by the success of its first edition, the VFA staff decided to keep the invitational tournament for this upcoming season. The novelty this time is that the VFA decided to invite the best team (non-qualified to UICA competitions) from seven nations. The Cotdelapomais, Virabi, Polarian and Astograthian (along with the Whirl-Islander and the Valladar) FAs competed for the second time, while Civil Citizenry and Jasĭyun were invited for the first time to the friendly competition.

Invitees, Format and Draw

The fourteenth placed team from the Paripana Élite League, the seventh-placed team from Whirl Islands, the sixth-placed team from Valladares, the fifth-placed teams from Cotdelapoms, Polar Islandstates and Astograth, the fourth-placed team from Civil Citizenry and the third-placed team from Virabia competed in this edition of the Trofeo del Príncipe, and were split into two groups of four teams each, with two of them as "seeded teams", and the rest as "unseeded teams", making four "seeded" teams and four "unseeded" teams.

With two groups of four, the VFA made sure Olympique de Fontvielle, as host, and its special invitee, Whirl-Islander outfit (and current Rushmori Copa de los Príncipes titleholders) Racing de Terranova, were drawn in different groups, leaving Carter FC and FC Cape St Paul as the only seeded teams to be drawn during the group draw. VFA officers felt tempted at some point to draw the Polarian and Astograthian representatives in different groups, however, the motion was not accepted by the organizing committee.

Venues

Eight venues were selected by the VFA for the competition. By order of the organizing committee, Olympique de Fontvielle played all their group stage games at their home stadium, Stade de l'Amitié, in Fontvielle. The other venues for Group A games were:

Stade Omnisports Gatineau, in Gatineau
Stade Micoud, in Montreux

Group B games were played at two stadia: Albert Field, in Edmonton and Westlands Stadium, in Hoxford.

Both semifinals were played at the Alain Tramontin Stadium, in Eterna City, while the Third Place Play-Off match and the Final were both played at the Alexander I National Stadium in Metropolis.

Group Stage

The group standings were determined by: points, goal difference, head-to-head result, goals scored and a coin toss, in order. The winner and runner-up of each group advanced to the semifinals, while the other two teams in each group were eliminated from the competition.

GROUP A:

Group A proved to be a very easy task for Olympique de Fontvielle, who advanced to the semi-finals without problem, winning their three matches in the group stage. Despite South Factory were in the brink of elimination before the last matchday after cancelling themselves with a draw against the Polarian representative and losing to the hosts, managed to sneak into the next round with a victory in Montreux against the amateur outfit Negroe Pride (combined with FC Cape St Paul's defeat in Fontvielle). The Polarians underperformed and failed to get a single win in three attempts, bowing out of the competition along with the Virabis, whose lack of international experience played against them and made them return home without wins, but with a point in the bag.

GROUP B:

Group B looked like a walk in the park for Racing de Terranova, after winning their first two matches, however, a lone goal from Carter FC was enough to crush the Whirl-Islander hopes in this tournament and give the Copa de los Príncipes winners a one-way ticket home. Meanwhile, Sparta, who had shown two different faces in their previous two presentations, took advantage of their neighbours' slip and crushed Team Lannymore, thus clinching the first place of the group. The Paripanan side qualified in second, behind the Cotdelapomais team, however, like Sparta, Carter's performances were not convincing enough, either. On the other hand, the Citiz representative was in the losing end of the worst thrashing in the tournament's short history, and left Valladares without a single point after playing two promising matches against the favorites of the group.

SEMI-FINALS:

The hosts' victorious campaign was stopped cold by Carter FC, who proved why the Élite League is one of the elite leagues (if you'll excuse the repetition) in the multiverse, and only needed two goals to send the OF to the third-place play-off, while at the same time, securing one of the two highest positions on the final podium of this edition.

In the other semifinal, things were not that easy for both of the involved teams. Sparta, whose offensive exploded against the weak Team Lannymore, seemed to be affected by the long plane trip from the Westlands to Eterna City. The whole 120 minutes of this match were tense, however, a goal in extra time sent the Cotdelapomais team to a rematch against the Jasĭyun team for the highest prize, while the third place play-off will represent for the Astograthians the chance to claim payback for their previous loss to the hosts in the group stage.

Sparta, despite their crushing loss in the final, earned P$ 500,000 with their silver medals, and Olympique de Fontvielle, who failed to surpass Tannenberg's performance last season, earned P$ 250,000 and the bronze medals of this edition. On the other hand, South Factory, who equalled Iturributa United's performance, gave Astograth their second fourth place in the competition, and P$ 100,000 despite they didn't get any medals. The other four teams who competed earned P$ 50,000 each.

Congratulations to Yun City, winners of the first ST Champions Cup!
Yun were the biggest underdogs in the Cup, finishing fourth in the Second Division to barely qualify. Their attacking game style and superb defending made up for their spot on the table, and upset wins over Cape Renko and Thaplace City tigers inspired hope that Yun could go on and win the title, which they eventually did. The second leg of the final was a close match, with the game finishing 1-1 after extra time, forcing the game into penalties that Yun easily won. Yun will hope their victory in the Cup will allow them to finally be promoted to the First Division next season.

The second edition of the premier competition for football clubs in southwest Rushmore – decidedly hosting the highest concentration of top international football nations – was held in Cotdelapoms, after Tout-Puissant Outremont claimed the first championship. The tournament expanded to twelve teams from eight, with four nations being allowed to send two representatives. Cotdelapoms, Whirl Islands, and Erathore received a second allotment for having a team reach the semifinals last edition; Swartaz did not receive its second spot because it did not play a proper season prior to the tournament. Instead, Civil Citizenry was allowed to send a second team, mainly due to bias within the Citiz Football Administration.

The first half of the newly minted four division soccer league structure is over and not many surprises have been had. In The Dritte Liga Sk Nethers United FC have a stronghold on the top position and an SBCC spot, following them into the land of the promotion are East Whiemore, X Island's new team and the young Yaton United, but early favorites Pamanian and Celtic Rangers are closing in on taking one of those spots The first season of the division is proving to very interesting indeed, even if it is a fourth division.

In the Zweitte Liga the first teams to be relegated to the Dritte Division very well look to be lowly TakilQuip, Clear Springs just a year removed from almost getting promoted, Whispir Hills and Wolfin, though both teams from Reynea are well withing falling distance. The top side sees former Cup darlings Moresville locked in a stranglehold fight with Helgar for the League Championship, a full nine points back sit Upton and Cornranch who both seem also in the land of promotion. Not many other teams are close with the next closest Petrinshier 6 more points back.

The Erste division sees another 4 teams clearly set on relegation and not many others looking to join them. Burcklyin City, Dake United, AC Algaer, and FC Cracken all look to be the only ones within distance of falling from the second division. Top side the Yankees of Ying Jing sit 2 points clear of Blakclake who are 8 points up of third. The two teams are sure to fight it out for the trophy with both easily gaining promotion. The next two transfer spots see 8 teams within 8 points, with Mierton looking to reutrn to the top a year after descension and Docktown looking to return to former glory.

Finally there is the Premier League. As expected Gieron FC and AC Sikane sit at the bottom but third to last is a surprise, AC Quarant Xa'virt who were expected to finish low but not this low. LeFever AC finish in the 4th and final relegation spot so far, but Yaton and Tintown sit close. Yaton FC former champions may fall. Finally it may yet be an exciting day, Atlantea sit top of the league and may reclaim their thrown, but they are exactly tied in points and GD with Bayern Phoenix at the halfway point and Bayern-Algaer sits only 2 behind. Could the Phoenix win the league just a year removed from the cup championship?

Seleucius New Segunda División

This year the Asociación de Fútbol de Seleucius is going to add a new División with 18 teams to the Liga de Fútbol de Seleucius, also increasing the number of teams in the Primera Division from 16 to 18.

Yesterday the AFS president José Luis Ameal gave a press conference in which he announced the conformation of a Segunda División that will start this season. He also informed that two more teams will be added to the Primera División. The new División will be formed by 18 teams that will play for the right to compete in the Primera División. The promotion will work with a revolutionary system in which the last three seasons matter, because an average of the points by match will be taken and according to this average a chart will be made to difine the two teams that are promoted and relegated.

Almost all the matches went according to predictions, but there were a couple matches that took everyone by surprise. Montbenoit fell to National Leaguer FC Kingsfort in stunning fashion, giving up the match winning goal a minute into stoppage time. The other involved Longview, who was just promoted to League 1 this past year. They lost to Middleview, who like FC Kingsfort was from the National League, on penalty kicks. With those shockers out of the way, here will be the fixtures for next month's third round of the SFA Cup.

The NCFA saw the completion of the 2005-2006 season with corporate sponsors taking over the naming rights of the Premier Leagues and the Federation Leagues. NorTel, the largest cell provider in the islands, will take naming rights for the Premier Leagues and the Premiers Cup for the next five years, while ScotWales Bank becomes the official sponsor of the Federation Leagues. Northern Rock Insurance now sponsors the Womens League and is also the title sponsor for the Kodiak Cup.

The FA also unveiled the new national crest for the organization that will be on all future kits. As the nation is set to change it's flag to an orange-on-white scheme, the colors reflect the shift and the Chicanan Orange of old. The crest features a mockup of old Governess Palace within the second shield along with the origin date of the FA.

The FA has also increased their cash incentive to the team that best performs in international competition, with 15million NCP going this year to Borussia Victoria due to their quaterfinal finish in the Cygnus Cup.

For the first time in a long while, the FA saw the top two league cups have the same opponents, with Free State uniting the NorTel and the Kodiak Cup. The NorTel Cup also switched from a random draw to adjusted seeding, seeing Transvaal defeating the top three teams during the season on consecutive weekends before losing to last year's Premiers winner. This format is also used for the Womens Kodiaks Cup and the Danish Super Cup, with those tournaments reported on eventually.

UICA Bids have been altered, as now the Kodiak Cup winner will go only to the Cygnus Cup. If the winner also qualifies for another cup, then they shall be allowed entry to both cups.

Last Season, Objectives and Expectations: Ræcing Clúb had a rather disappointing showing last year. They are usually picked to be among the favourites but lost out to cross-town rivals Jéfebyén who by surprise utterly dominated Jéfelígen last season. Nonetheless, it is worth noting that they were only fifth because they lost out in a three-way tie for third place on by only a few values in the goal differential column. Thus, it won't be surprising if El Ræs manages to come out with the crown this season, especially with the vacancy created by the surprise relegation of juggernauts Santa Fæ.
Wheeling and Dealing: Nothing of note
Rivalries: Cross-town rivals with defending champions Jéfebyén. Also rivals with Clúb Årtíco.
Fans: Fans of Ræcing Clúb tend to be not all that dependable. While a committed few known as Sócíad d'Ræ attend every game and try to make noise, the rest of the fanbase tends to only go when the club is winning, which until recently wasn't that often. Only now with the addition of a few fan favourite players such as forward Félip Nørgaard and defender Pédrø Nüñéz have the club's fortunes begun to turn.
Clubs/Fans Political Leanings: The fans are typically of the working caste and have neutral opinion of house currently in charge. As long as they are able to survive and live comfortably, they have few complaints. Though they are rather in support of the Chief Wantøbé who has made major strides in making the society more open and fair.

Clúb Årtíco:
Nicknames: Løs Térns,
Stadium: Frånsíscøstadíø, Térnpuæblo (Cap. 2.500)
Manager: Jó Píazza
Last Season, Objectives and Expectations: While traditionally a mid table club, Clúb Årtíco did rather well for themselves last year, finishing third place overall and on top of the three way tie which split the third, fourth and fifth place teams by only goal differential. However, this result is thought to be mainly a fluke for the club. They are usually a mid-table club and it's more than likely they will return to their usual roosting place of right around seventh place. Yet, with this season shaping up to be one of the most open seasons in a while, the club could perhaps make it into a top position and be one of the nation's first clubs to participate in CRF competition. However, the exact opposiate is just as likely. Dominicus Nørgrad, the Polarian star who was responsible for much of the clubs good fortune is finally having age catch up to him and even the introduction of Begolat Uminali, a 19 year old Citiz goalkeeper who is touted to breathe some new life into an aging club may not save them. So, Clúb Årtíco may well find themselves in Lígen Dó once more after a 15 year stint in the top flight.

Rivalries: Rivals with Ræcing Clúb and recently promoted Ølésand
Fans: Rather typical fans. Show up, cheer for their team, have a few drinks afterwards and go home. The more fanatical ones are often members of Sóciad Løs Térns. Fan favourites include striker Nørgrad and hometown hero Tømás Hånsæn.
Clubs/Fans Political Leanings: There's no pattern. They are supported by most in Térnpuæblo

Åltøbåjø:
Nicknames: None
Stadium: Åltøpuæblo Espørtécåmpí, Åltøpuæblo (Cap. 3.000)
Manager: Rícårdo Våsqéz
Last Season, Objectives and Expectations: Just promoted from Lígen Dó where they only earned promotion after defeating KD Mésatoppen in the playoffs, the first and foremost goal of Våsqéz will be to keep the team in the top flight, where they have not been for 12 years. That in itself will be a tough challenge for the club as they are favourites to be relegated at seasons end but, out of the two other clubs promoted to Jéfelígen this season they are the most likely to stay afloat. So, that is something that will have close attention paid to it as the season progresses.
Wheeling and Dealing: Nothing of note.
Rivalries: The team has no real rivals per say. Fans treat each match as important as all the others
Fans: Despite the team's long stint in Lígen Dó, the fans have remained intensely loyal to the club, so much that in recent years, the team had to add more capacity to their stadium in order to ease the still present problem of having games with beyond capacity crowd. Simply put, win or lose, Åltøbåjø is loved.
Clubs/Fans Political Leanings: There's no pattern really. Team is supported by alot of people in both Åltøpuæblo and Båjøpuæblo

CF Puæblaña:
Nicknames: None
Stadium: Stadíøbajøbyén, Puæblaña (Cap. 1.200)
Manager: Tómås Rícardo
Last Season, Objectives and Expectations: Last season, CF Puæblaña finished right in the middle of the table, the sixth best club in a field of twelve and for the most part, it looks like this season will be a repeat of last season. No signifigant improvements have been made to the clubs roster and with the exception of Dåmíen Ægård's departure to defending league champions' Jéfebyén, the club isn't all that much worse either. So, barring some unlikely events that could see the team performing perhaps a bit stronger than they did, they should once again place comfortably mid table.
Wheeling and Dealing: At the end of his contract Dåmíen Ægård left the club for Jéfebyén
Rivalries: They have a rather intense cross-town rivalry with Puærtóvík
Fans: Fans of CF Puæblaña tend to fall into two categories. As always, there is the contingent of die-hards which attend every match, home and away to watch their club win and as always there are the average fans who support their team with a healthy dose of moderation. Still, stands can get rather filled during key matches and rivalries.
Clubs/Fans Political Leanings: Fans of CF Puæblaña tend to fall more into the merchant and aristocratic caste, the haves rather than the have-nots. Though with measures undertaken by Chief Wantøbé, parts of the old aristocracy have vanished and thus another portion of the clubs fanbase are simply those who are descendants of the old aristocracy.

Jårgadørés:
Nicknames: None
Stadium: Møntáñastadíø, Osopuæblo (Cap. 2.600)
Manager: Vírgínío Pægån
Last Season, Objectives and Expectations: While Jårgadørés finished second, they were off first by quite a ways and only ahead of third by two points but, don't let the semantics of how the table played out fool you. While the club may not be one of the traditional giants, their long term development that was put in place by the clubs chairman for more than 20 years, Ramón Tíldé, more than ten years ago has done wonders for their club. A renewed focus in the clubs youth academy as well as the recent establishment of a parent/feeder club relationship with Sorthern club Görmekköyspor spells a bright future for a club which was once a main fixture of Lígen Dó but, the present is also bright. They have found gold mines in the undervalued Polarian striker Auðunn Guðjónsson as well as the fan favourite Ådriannó Rívérø, both of which could lead the team to a championship, especially in the power vaccum created by the surprise relegation of Santa Fæ
Wheeling and Dealing: They had attempted to buy a young Erathi prospect, and had secured a deal but, there was a breakdown in the contract negotiating process as the player didn't want to play for the wages being offered.
Rivalries: Of the teams in Jéfelígen, they only have a minor rivalry with Medíøyabyén. They are much bigger rivals with Lígen Dó side Montéoso.
Fans: Fans of Jårgadørés tend to be very passionate about their club. They are observed dressing up in elabourite costumes that often feature themes of viking warriors and other things of the like. ((OOC: Think Raiders fans but with out a sucky team))
Clubs/Fans Political Leanings: No real correlation here. Fans usually just fall into supporting either them or Montéoso based upon what they grew up supporting.

Oríenøya:
Nicknames: None
Stadium: Stadíøoríénté, Oríenøyapuæblo (1.400)
Manager: Mánüs Ålønsó
Last Season, Objectives and Expectations: Oríenøya finished fourth last season after losing out on the goal difference tie breaker to Clúb Årtíco as well as narrowly edging out Ræcing Clúb in the same tiebreaker. So, things were a bit too close for the liking of the club, it's players, fans, coaches and most importantly it's administration. Nonetheless, they were satisfied with their position last season which fell right inline with what the team had hoped to achieve and for the most part those expectations carry over to this season as well. There have been no major changes in the roster and once again a club built upon a foundation of good but not great finishes, looks to continue the trend.
Wheeling and Dealing: Nothing of note.
Rivalries: They are biggest rivals with Rocåsand, who were relegated last season from Jéfelígen.
Fans: Fans of Oríenøya are some of the more dedicated fans in the Chiefdom. They follow their team like it is a religion, making noise about even the smallest of moves by the squad. However, they are not large in number. Oríenøyapuæblo has a population of only 2.000 and they don't pull many fans who are not residents of the island (which itself only has a population of 2.500)
Clubs/Fans Political Leanings: Beloved by those on the island of Oríenøya, and they pull from all walks of life. Two rather famous fans are the High Shaman of the Chiefdom, Félíp Zåmbrånó as well as the rather famous actress Trístíaña Barrérra both of whom are natives of the island and are often spotted in the stands.
