You could always call it "Heimat." Calling your house in Ireland "Heimat," has a nice deep touch to it showing your love for the place in a nice way.

Or if you prefer English names. I suppose "Wuthering Heights" or "Ferrari" might get a smile out of some people.

I suggested Wuthering Heights, but that only earned me a really evil look. Dropped it straight away again ;)

In Ireland, it might be a front for an older Celtic deity, which could be a fun name for a house.

Bridgid, for example.

Although Cernunnos would be cool.

Hehe... the German words are limited to those he can pronounce, so quite limited overall. Nothing with "r", "l", "ch" or any difficult vowels.

Can anybody suggest anything? I'm just gathering ideas at the moment, so any input would be much appreciated! :)

Saint Anthony was the patron saint of finding lost things, so how about 'Lost and Found'. It gives a nod to the original name but has a few other interesting connotations.
