Catholics nor Orthodox use it. That's a giant piece of the Christian pie.
The only Christian churches that I know that use it are a few Protestant denominations.
When I was still religious, I was Catholic and my church displayed the flag of Vatican City.

The dove of peace on the left represents how we would prefer to solve issues. The sword on the right is for those who will not discuss problems in a civilized manner. I'm sure the emblem in the middle needs no explanation. :roll:

Just based on how a flag looks, the Viet Cong gets my first vote, followed by the Qing flag. Qing has such a divine shade of yellow, and plenty of cultural symbolism to boot. Viet Cong's banner is peacock blue and scarlet surmounted by a yellow star, can you beat that?

Now, that should be Vietnam's national flag, today. Just plain red makes them look like exactly like they were: A Soviet client state with no other sense of identity.

Yeah, most Roman Catholic churches display those flags. Protestants, Anglicans, Mormons, and Orthodox churches wouldn't use the Vatican flag. But yeah, when I was religious those were the two hanging by the altar.
