Manpower Crisis in Liberalia

Good afternoon, I am Doctor H E Snipes, the Head of LIBDIS (the Liberalian Diplomatic Service). I come here before you today to tell you about a matter of grave importance. The Liberalian Federation, a collection of regions (Liberalia, New Liberalia and WWSeti) is facing a severe manpower crisis, while activity is yet to reach even dangerous levels we are facing a severe lack of able, motivated and dedicated people capable of carryng out the myriad tasks of regional governance. At present we have around 4 people running a Federation of three regions and over 100 nations, with an active community of around 30 people, as you can imagine this is not a stable nor sustainable state of affairs. Therefore on behalf of the Liberalian Government, headed by Prime Minister Kurt of Whitlamia, I am appealling for help. We need dedicated, motivated and intelligent people to help us.

We operate a democratic government and legislative with both a Prime Minister and a President and boast a well structured government system. However the executive is facing extreme pressure, trying to maintain embassies abroad, recruitment efforts, legislative and executive reform and the other issues invovled in running a region, with an extreme lack of manpower. To put this into perspective, after a recent appeal for people to work as recruiter or ambassadors only three people out of the active community of 30 applied including the Prime Minister himself. It cannot go on. We will welcome anyone who is able to join our region and help us continue to thrive, and grant them full citizenship and we shall offer rewards and in time government positions to those who prove themselves to be capable and dedicated.

Please this is an honest appeal. New Liberalia is a great region with a lively community, active RP, political, social and educational discussion and debate all feature heavily. We have a large and active Role Playing Community and Government and all you need to do is join us a pitch in and yout oo can take.

Things are starting to stabilise now, entirely thanks to the increased efforts of two key members, rather than an increase in manpower, but both of us are expecting a decrease in activity and we need people to fill in the gaps. Please we're getting to a serious point here. Liberalia is not just a Region, its a Micronation and we are constantly broadening our horizons.

Well this morning I became a father so the amount of time I can devote to this may decrease a little. Hopefully not though, but babies come before games.
