If you're interested, there is a wiki page for the team, but its not quite up to date in terms of stats. The style of play section is pretty accurate though, and I recommend reading it if you're going to RP about the match itself.
The team generally lines up in a flexible 4-5-1/4-3-3 formation, which they are adept at adapting to various situations, and even switching it to a 4-4-2 with relative ease.
The typical playing style is a high pressure, aggressive game, which seeks to spread the ball to pacy wingers. The centre of midfield tends to contain strong, ball-winning players with decent passing ranges. At the heart of the defense there is almost always an aggressive ball-winner, often with a composed "sweeper" with a good passing range behind him.
That all said... RP Permissions... anything goes really.
Just please no deaths or long term injuries to anyone other than fringe players... and fans, haha.
If you have an idea for an RP, telegram me. I'll probably go with it.

Manager: Benedict di Corradi (50 years old)
The controversial, outspoken Osarius manager is a legendary figure in his hometown of Firewood, and generally liked by the rest of the nation (excluding Greeningham fans). As an outstanding attacking talent in his day, di Corradi has a lot of tactical nous when it comes to offensive endeavours. He is notably stubborn, despises losing, and is very strict with regard to his players. However, many of them see him as a father figure or mentor, and he shares a close relationship with a great number of them. It is not unusual for di Corradi to argue with match officials, and appeal against decisions, too. In his lone season managing domestically, he probably spent as much time in the stands as he did in the dugout. He is also known to spend hours at home watching match videos, analysing players and their performances.
Assistant Manager: Giorgio Cassetti (49 years old)
A team-mate of di Corradi's at Firewood City in the 2160s, Cassetti is one of his most trusted associates, and is typically tasked with administrative affairs. When di Corradi loses his cool, Cassetti steps in to calm him down. Another legendary attacking figure, Cassetti enjoys a more universal reverence back home, and is the more likely point of contact for younger players, as he is more approachable. Cassetti's coaching speciality is geared toward passing, and creating chances for forwards, which reflects his old position as a player.
Assistant Manager: Roberto Barzaglione (50 years old)
Having known di Corradi since birth, and also been a team-mate at Firewood, Barzaglione is perhaps the closest to di Corradi. Another extremely gifted player in his own right, Barzaglione specialises in coaching set piece tactics. It is also typically his role to scout potential call-ups on di Corradi's behalf - more often than di Corradi does so himself, perhaps, and certainly more often than Cassetti does. However, these are almost always at di Corradi's request.
Coach: Donovan MacLean (43 years old)
Once widely tipped to be the successor to di Corradi some day, Donovan MacLean is a similarly outspoken coach whose methods - although maybe questionable - get results. MacLean seems to work well with younger players, where he is perhaps more capable of moulding them to fit his tactical style. Although he enjoys attacking football, MacLean tends toward the "Total Football" school of thought, which requires players to be multi-skilled. Its no surprise that since his introduction to the Osarius coaching unit, defensive competence has increased. During the World Cup 51 qualifying campaign, he co-managed alongside Cassetti and Barzaglione, but was slated for his tactical decisions - which it was felt were not playing to the team's strengths - but the OFA, and even di Corradi himself, have expressed their desire that he remain with the national side, especially after the progression seen by the Olympic team.
Coach: Elissa Barca-Carthy (52 years old)
As the long-term coach of the little-mentioned Osarius Women's national team, Elissa Barca-Carthy has established herself as a competent coach, particularly defensively. Her women's side have struggled mainly due to being criminally underfunded in Osarius, however, she has still managed to play a huge role in the development of certain Firebirds starters. Most notably, Georgina Carsley credits Barca-Carthy for teaching her how to defend properly, in terms of positioning and tackling. Her relative success in the Queens Cup as acting national team coach saw her granted the coaching role for the Draggonnii Inviyatii, where her fortunes were less favourable. Di Corradi, however, has gone 180 on his opinion regarding women in coaching, thanks to Barca-Carthy, and has actively awarded her a more prominent role within his coaching staff.
Coach: Alain Montblanc (47 years old)
The success of the Under 21s recently - despite their unfortunate defeats in back-to-back Di Bradini Cup finals - has really drawn attention to the oft-overlooked Dynapolitan. His methods have combined the attacking nature of his mentor di Corradi, with the sensible defensive concepts he often eschews, along with the traditionally physical approach to the game that Osarian fans enjoy, to create a solid style which is both entertaining and successful. Many are now tipping him ahead of MacLean to take over from di Corradi, an idea seemingly supported by the Firebirds' manager himself.
Coach: Rodrigo Hernandez (56 years old)
Most Osarians don't even know the nation has an under 19s team, but Hernandez has been in charge of them since di Corradi took over as senior team manager. While there is no real way to gauge his success as a coach - as there is no competition for the team - it is worth noting that more young players are emerging. This is perhaps down to Hernandez's role as Director of the national football academy in Burningham, where children as young as eight are trained over the summer. His older brother is better known, as long-term manager of Junipa Athletic.
Goalkeeping Coach: Onyibo Oduoza
Fitness Coach: Claudio Traga
Physiotherapist: Daniel Chambers
Team Doctor: Dr Sarah Bocchetti
Other Staff: Jeffrey Allen, Gerald Cole, Maurice Simmons
These guys all have a hand to play in preparing the team for matchdays, but their roles are largely limited to specific aspects of the game. For example, Simmons is the team's set piece coach, and works with just four players really.
The squad itself is selected from a pool of players, listed below.
Caps and goals are accurate upto the day before the first qualifying match.
Goalkeepers
Albert MARIANA (31 years old) - San Vivaldo [CAR] ( 89 caps / 1 goal )
Jasveer GULATI (25 years old) - Firewood City F.C. ( 21 caps / 0 goals )
Peter CLARKSON (25 years old) - AFC Hollybrent ( 6 caps / 0 goals )
Marco CORRADINI (22 years old) - Burningham City F.C. ( 1 cap / 0 goals )
Albert Mariana is the first choice goalkeeper, without any doubt, on the merit of his shot-stopping and experience. The second favourite appears to be Jasveer Gulati, who has stepped in to cover for Mariana of late. In truth, there is little separating the duo of Peter Clarkson and Marco Corradini, who have both impressed at King's League level.
Fullbacks
LB - Georgina CARSLEY (27 years old) - Greeningham City F.C. ( 61 caps / 0 goals )
LB - Gennaro CRISCITO (21 years old) - Rapid Hearthlands ( 18 caps / 0 goals )
LB - Darrell NIEVES (28 years old) - Free Agent ( 16 caps / 0 goals )
RB - Federico AGNELLI (21 years old) - Violia FC ( 2 caps / 0 goals )
RB - Flavio AQUILANI (24 years old) - Trothwands Evolution ( 43 caps / 0 goals )
RB - Cameron ROBERTS (26 years old) - Hastmead Diamante CFC ( 0 caps / 0 goals )
While Georgina Carsley and Flavio Aquilani are the first choice fullback pairing - offering a balance of offense and defense - the under-21 graduates Gennaro Criscito and Federico Agnelli are really pressing for starting berths. Darrell Nieves has returned from Tyrrin and is rumoured to be training with Burningham City as he waits for a contract offer following the folding of the Commander's League. The strong fullback is lacking match practice, but his quality is long-established, and may be called upon to do a job in the latter phases of qualification. Cameron Roberts is in contention for a first cap after being a key part of Hastmead's impressive offensive performances in the King's League and the Corradini Cup.
Centre Backs
Reiss RYERSON (27 years old) - Firewood City F.C. ( 75 caps / 7 goals )
Katherine HOLLAND (23 years old) - Cymrwell FC ( 14 caps / 3 goals )
Marvin POULSEN (28 years old) - Grasshoppers Turic FC ( 19 caps / 0 goals )
Harvey DECKER (22 years old) - Grasshoppers Turic FC ( 4 caps / 0 goals )
Valeria AYALA (20 years old) - Renneville United F.C. ( 3 caps / 0 goals )
JayVaughn HARRIS (22 years old) - Utica United F.C. ( 7 caps / 0 goals )
Carlo ROMANO (22 years old) - Pythons [QPM] ( 10 caps / 0 goals )
Avery McFARLANE (32 years old) - Capital AC ( 67 caps / 1 goal )
Avery McFarlane's advancing years have caught up on him at last, and Benedict di Corradi has therefore demoted him to a reserve role. Taking his place in the starting lineup is Grasshoppers Turic's Marvin Poulsen, who impressed in his early international career. Poulsen operates best when paired with a composed sweeper-like defender, such as Reiss Ryerson. Backup options include JayVaughn Harris and Carlo Romano - both graduates of the under-21 side with good reputations - and Valeria Ayala, who is a favourite of Elissa Barca-Carthy. For versatility, Katherine Holland - quickly gaining favour with di Corradi - is also included, and more than capable of playing both centre back and as a "libero" sweeper.
Midfielders
DM - Kristen MILLICAN (28 years old) - Grasshoppers Turic FC (
DM - ORELIN (29 years old) - Firewood City F.C. (
CM - Hope PERANIO (29 years old) - Hastmead Diamante CFC (
CM - Lorenzo RUIZ (29 years old) - Utica United F.C. (
CM - Marvin TURNER (20 years old) - Burningham City F.C. (
CM - Ayanna BARCA-CARTHY (22 years old) - Real Jraxville F.C. (
While di Corradi doesn't often field an explicitly defensive midfielder, Orelin is a favourite, due to his superior technique - which comes in useful in aiding the offense. Kristen Millican, on the other hand, displays a combative streak which the boss favours in his players. The tough tackling Turic midfielder sometimes acts as the anchor behind a double-attacking midfielder formation. Typically, though, di Corradi prefers to field two flexible midfielders who can alternate between attack and defence, like Hope Peranio and Ayanna Barca-Carthy. Other options the boss likes to have at his disposal are long-range shooters like Lorenzo Ruiz, and deep-lying playmaker types like Marvin Turner.
Attacking Midfielders and Wingers
Benni WATSON
Ashley WATSON
Enrico MARTELLI
Rodrigo BELTRAN
Joaquin MARTINEZ
Autumn PHELPS
Gabriel RUSSELL
Francesco VILLA
PEPITO
Typically, Ashley Watson and captain Benni Watson start on opposite flanks, with Enrico Martelli - the supposed heir to Benni Watson's right wing slot - the only real contender for a starting position. As a rule, Osarian wingers are capable of playing on either flank, with the exception of Autumn Phelps, who operates solely on the left flank, sometimes as a forward, in order to utilise her impressive finishing. Rodrigo Beltran and Joaquin Martinez are both solid wingers who are likely to see some action against lower ranked sides in the zonal phase, but barring any injuries to the likes of Watson brothers and Martelli, are unlikely to get a look in should Osarius reach the interzonals. In the middle, the trio of attacking midfielders is headed by Gabriel Russell. The Firewood man seems to have made Jermain Lewis' old role as attacking focal point his own. Francesco Villa and Pepito are two youngsters with outstanding ability and potential, who are more than capable of creating magical moments on offense. They can not only replace Russell in case of injury, but they are capable of complementing him in a dual - or even triple - attacking midfield formation.
