Expenses: ▼ $3,365,877,910,825.227 U.S.D.
Income: ▲ $373,988,059,589.573 U.S.D.

History

Globexian Resources is a subdivision of the Ministry of the Economical Affairs of the United Socialist States of Globexanter, led by the lead executive appointed by the Ministry, Joris Lloriaux, whom has been at the helm of this Globexian venture for many years now.
Created in late 1963, in a joint venture by the Ministry of the Economy and the Ministry of Natural Resources of the United Socialist States of Globexanter, the Globexian Resources subdivision was created in the aim of centralizing and regrouping the exportation and sale of excess Globexian natural oil reserves. Shortly afterwards, as exploitation and research continued over the years, many other goods were added for sale.
By 1967, in order to redefine the international standing of Globexian Resources, the Government of the United Socialist States of Globexanter agreed to release some control over the corporation, permitting it to establish itself as a more independant andd self-sufficient entity instead of one controlled and funded by the State. Such a happening was permitted by the then Minister of the Economics after several situations were pro-capitalist states refused to buy from Globexian Resources due to it being a state owned enterprise. Releasing the corporation permitted the creation of a board of chairmen and women whom were given a rein of the company, nowadays, the Head Chairman of the Board is currently Joris Lloriaux.

Quality of Products

By investing in some of the newest and most technologically advanced equipment in the market, Globexian Resources has found itself capable of establishing a great lead over fellow competitors, using it's pool of equipment of proficiently trained staff in order to exploit some of the most advantageous opportunities which present itself to the markets, exploiting these in order to stockpile large quantities of minerals and other resources with speed and efficiency.
By taking advantage of such situations, while using a home grown based power in the administration and refining side of the business, Globexian Resources has found itself capable of stockpiling such matters in order to be able (in the vast majority of situations) capable of selling and shipping out orders with great speed and a refined organization. However, while performing such a promise of reliability and preparation, Globexian Resources maintains, regardless of the demand, intensive refining and quality control checks in order to provide the customer with great satisfaction in his order.
It may interest the customer to also know that, unlike certain other Energy and Resource corporations, Globexian Resources is defined as a venture of the Government of the United Socialist States of Globexanter. This naturally obliges the venture to respect the working conditions, sovereignty and promises it makes to both the customer and the land (with it's inhabitants and the workers), as well as providing such factors with an equal and constant pay.

A Company you can Trust

Globexian Resources is also based on Customer Trust. Globexian Resources relies itself on the promise that, upon purchasing any Resource of any type or price, the customer shall be delivered his purchase in the shortest of delays and with the highest of possible qualities. Such promises, which we aim to never break, permits us to enjoy positive relations with many customers, whom often return many times to us in order to put forward more orders.

Secure as can Be

Having established itself in a country which has experience more than it's fair share of conflicts and internal issues over the past, we at Globexian Resources attempt to enjoy the fact that those once difficult times have permitted us to prepare ourselves for most security issues. As can be expected, in a World filled with conflicts, wars and piracy, often deliveries of both cargo and resources are relentlessly attacked by anything from pirates to missguided warships. Such international issues may lead the customer to worry over the safety of their cargo, which is precesily where we hope to insert a sense of safety when it comes to this fact.
Operating out of both mobile and static units, Globexian Resources has armed itself with it's own security forces, which shall ensure and garantuee the safety of the customer's goods from the point where it is picked up, until the final delivery. We have also, over the years, learnt to perfect passive anti-piracy measures on our ships, which have ensured that the we have been able to offer a lower price to our customers, by ensuring ourselves that a strong guard is not necessary at all times.

Payment

In order to facilitate payments from countries all around the World, Globexian Resources has established itself as a corporation using the Universal Standard Dollar. This permits an easy transaction between foreign States and Companies to Globexian Resources, as well as offering a usually stable source of transactions and exchange rates.

1. Please refrain from posting OoC posts in this thread.
2. Please attempt to employ common sense in your posts: Look into how much oil you would actually need to buy, not a random number. This permits not only to add more realism to the context, but also to save yourself a lot of money.
3. For any questions regarding Globexian Resources, I would greatly prefer if you contacted me via Telegram on Nation States. A response would be given as soon as possible.
4. Please excuse the grammatical errors as well as the lack of certain photograps: a long time has passed since I last maintained this storefront, so many photos have now dissapeared and are being replaced.

Sulfur or sulphur is the chemical element that has the atomic number 16. It is denoted with the symbol S. It is an abundant, multivalent non-metal. In it's native form, it is found under a bright yellow color.
Sulfur is used as an Acid ( Sulfuric acid, is is a central importance to a Nation's Economy due to it's use in oil refining, wastewater processing, and mineral extraction ), it is also used as a fertilizer, fungicide and as a pesticide.

Cost per Kilo: ~8,30 U.S.D.

Tungsten
Image

Tungsten, also known as wolfram, is a chemical element with the chemical symbol W and atomic number 74. Also of a remarkable is its high density of 19.3 times that of water, comparable to that of uranium and gold, and much higher (about 1.7 times) than that of lead.
Tungsten is used to create alloys, it is used as a conductor ( electricity ), it is an alternative to depleted uranium, massively used in electronics, it is used as a ballast in NASCAR and Formula 1 cars. It also has chemical uses.

Cost per Kilo: ~39 U.S.D.

Bronze
Image

Bronze is a metal alloy consisting primarily of copper, usually with tin as the main additive, but sometimes with other elements such as phosphorus, manganese, aluminum, or silicon. It is hard and brittle, and it was particularly significant in antiquity, so much so that the Bronze Age was named after the metal.
Bronze is used in musical instruments, medals, statues, it is used to create aluminium bronze, electrical connectors and springs, electric motors, and building tools.

Cost per Kilo: ~10 U.S.D.

Titanium
Image

Titanium is a chemical element with the symbol Ti and atomic number 22. It has a low density and is a strong, lustrous, corrosion-resistant (including sea water, aqua regia and chlorine) transition metal with a silver color.
It is used to create steel, pigments, coatings, additives, armor plating, submarine construction, aircraft construction, in industrial factories, in automobile and motorcycle racing, jewelry, horseshoes, watches, piercings, medical uses and surgical instruments.

Cost per Kilo: ~10 U.S.D.

Limestone
Image

Limestone is a sedimentary rock composed largely of the minerals calcite and/or aragonite, which are different crystal forms of calcium carbonate.
Limestone is used to create quicklime, slaked limed, cement/mortar, pulverized it can neutralize acidic soils, as an aggregate, petroleum reversoirs, toothpaste, paper, plastics, paint, tiles, used to suppress methane explosions in mines, when purified is added to cereals and bread as a source of calcium, to purify water, medicines, cosmetics and also used in sculptures.

Cost per Ton: ~90 U.S.D.

Mercury
Image

Mercury also known as quicksilver or hydrargyrum is a chemical element with the symbol Hg and atomic number 80. Mercury is the only metal that is liquid at standard conditions for temperature and pressure; the only other element that is liquid under these conditions is bromine. With a freezing point of −38.83 °C and boiling point of 356.73 °C, mercury has one of the broadest ranges of its liquid state of any metal.
Mercury is used in thermometers, barometers, manometers, sphygmomanometers, float valves, some electrical switches, and other scientific apparatus. But however due to concerns in it's toxicity, mercury thermometers and sphygmomanometers are no longer used in clinical areas, they are replaced in those areas by electronic devices.
Please note that Globexian Resources sells this Mineral it in's native raw form. To request it to be liquefied, please state so in the Extra Requests.

Cost per Kilo: ~15 U.S.D.

Gunpowder
Image

Gunpowder, also known since the late 19th century as black powder, is a mixture of sulfur, charcoal, and potassium nitrate. Gunpowder can be made just using potassium nitrate and charcoal (or alternatively without charcoal), but without the sulfur (or coal), the powder is not as strong. It burns rapidly, producing a volume of hot gas made up of carbon dioxide, water, and nitrogen, and a solid residue of potassium sulfide. Because of its burning properties and the amount of heat and gas volume that it generates, gunpowder has been widely used as a propellant in firearms and as a pyrotechnic composition in fireworks.
Gunpowder is nowadays used in delay-trains in modern weapons (such as grenades), fireworks and firecrackers.

Cost per Kilo: 33,330 U.S.D.

Bromine
Image

Bromine is a chemical element with the symbol Br, an atomic number of 35, and an atomic mass of 79.904. It is in the halogen element group. Elemental bromine is a fuming red-brown liquid at room temperature, corrosive and toxic, with properties between those of chlorine and iodine. Free bromine does not occur in nature, but occurs as colorless soluble crystalline mineral halide salts, analogous to table salt.
Bromine is used as a Flame Retardant, as an additive in Gasoline (the use of this is in decline), as a pesticide, as a medical and veterinary usage, it is also used in Spa pools, dyes, water purification, insecticide and also to reduce Mercury poisoning within Coal Mines.

Globexian Resources supplies only Pure Bromine, as it has been shown to result in better effects when put into it's deemed application form, which are explained above.

Cost per Kilo: $38.7 U.S.D.

Sodium
Image

Sodium is a metallic element with a symbol Na and atomic number 11. It is a soft, silvery-white, highly reactive metal and is a member of the alkali metals within "group 1" (formerly known as 'group IA'). It has one stable isotope.
Elemental sodium does not occur naturally on Earth, because it quickly oxidizes in air and is violently reactive with water, so it must be stored in a non-oxidizing medium, such as a liquid hydrocarbon. The free metal is used for some chemical synthesis, analysis, and heat transfer applications. Sodium ion is soluble in water, and is thus present in great quantities in the Earth's oceans and other stagnant bodies of water. In these bodies it is mostly counterbalanced by the chloride ion, causing evaporated ocean water solids to consist mostly of sodium chloride, or common table salt. Sodium ion is also a component of many minerals.
Sodium is an essential element for all animal life (including human) and for some plant species.

Sodium is also used to refine certain minerals, to purify melted metals, to descale metal (make it's surface smooth), to improve the structure of certain Alloys, as a heat transfer fluid, Sodium is also used in Nuclear Reactor cooling. I is also used to create soaps, some medicine formulations.

Cost per Kilo: ~$2,000 U.S.D.

Textile

Since the 27th of June 2011, Globexian Resources sells numerous Textiles to the International Community for use by companies and official organizations. The Textiles represented here were farmed by both local and Foreign Companies whom deal in Globexanter. We can, however, guarantee that all of these Textiles are of the best possible available quality to Globexian Resources.
These textiles are sold my the Square Meter, apart from the odd case or two.

To make an order for Textile, please fill in this form:

Code: Select all
Name of the Nation:
Name of the Nation's Leader:
Name of the buyer:
Textile Type (Silk, Wool...):

Extra Requests:

Cotton
Image

Cotton is a soft, fluffy staple fiber that grows in a boll, or protective capsule, around the seeds of cotton plants of the genus Gossypium. The plant is a shrub native to tropical and subtropical regions around the world. The fiber most often is spun into yarn or thread and used to make a soft, breathable textile, which is the most widely used natural-fiber cloth in clothing today. The botanical purpose of cotton fiber is to aid in seed dispersal.
Cotton (when refined) is mostly used as a clothing fabric in both typical clothing, bed sheets, towels, robes and denim for blue jeans. It is also used for gunpowder, fishnets, coffee filters, tents, cotton paper, and in bookbinding. The cottonseed which remains after the cotton is ginned is used to produce cottonseed oil, which, after refining, can be consumed by humans like any other vegetable oil. The cottonseed meal that is left generally is fed to ruminant livestock; the gossypol remaining in the meal is toxic to monogastric animals. Cottonseed hulls can be added to dairy cattle rations for roughage.

Cost per Square Meter: ~$4 U.S.D.

Silk
Image

Silk is a natural protein fibre, some forms of which can be woven into textiles. The best-known type of silk is obtained from the cocoons of the larvae of the mulberry silkworm Bombyx mori reared in captivity (sericulture). The shimmering appearance of silk is due to the triangular prism-like structure of the silk fibre, which allows silk cloth to refract incoming light at different angles, thus producing different colors. Silks are produced by several other insects, but only the silk of moth caterpillars has been used for textile manufacturing. There has been some research into other silks, which differ at the molecular level.
Silk is used mainly as a fabric in the clothing industry.

Cost per Square Meter: ~$32 U.S.D.

Wool
Image

Wool is the textile fiber obtained from sheep and certain other animals, including cashmere from goats, mohair from goats, qiviut from muskoxen, vicuña, alpaca, and camel from animals in the camel family, and angora from rabbits. Wool has several qualities that distinguish it from hair or fur: it is crimped, it is elastic, and it grows in staples (clusters). The term wool is usually restricted to describing the fibrous protein derived from the specialized skin cells called follicles in sheep.
Wool is used mainly in the fabric industry for clothing, and is used for knitting, infant sleeping bags and has been proven (when added to Kevlar) to heavily increase the bullet protection offered by a Kevlar vest.

Cost per Square Meter: ~$26 U.S.D.

Geological Survey

This is another case. Your Nation has the equipement, however. The company does not have any methods to know where or if there is any Minerals or Oils. This can be a bummer. Also part of the Aid program, Globexian Resources now offers for a small charge to come over to the Nation and survey each location which is requested. All information found is kept secure and only delivered to the Owner/Government.
A Geological Survey is normally effectuated using an on-land crew which would in turn use technological trucks specially designed for Globexian Resources to " sense " and ground perturbations by radio waves which could lead to an Oil/Petrol field. Minerals are found by searching and minor digging.

A survey team costs 200,000 U.S.D. a week.

If you wish a Globexian Resources team to come to your Nation to survey areas, please fill in this form:
