Qualifications:(Courts served, law license) Mihir served first as a barrister in the Kingdom, then started as a circuit, provincial, and finally was appointed to the position of Lord Justice, hearing cases on the national level for the Rajah. He has a combined 22 years of judicial experience, and his name has been bandied about as a potential Supreme Court Justice, although the call has not yet gone out for that and there is considerable Tamar nationalist resistance to the idea of a Hamikh-Makasha ethnic judge.
Background (Age, experience, brief relevant history - not full life story) Age 58. Mihir began his law career in his mid-20s after passing the Royal Bar. Finding defense distasteful due to the lack of morals of his clientele, he switched to prosecution before being asked to step up to the bench. A rarity in Jaraguptan judicial circles, Bajwa is part ethnic Hamikh, and also has a Makasha mother, rather than the majority Tamars who dominate the higher levels of government. That being said, he has shown no favor to Hamikhs, or any other ethnic group, but has been known for treating everyone equally. At the time of his early judicial days, that was unheard of as Tamar criminals usually received lighter sentences, if any at all, than their other ethnic counterparts. Due to being a Hamikh/Makasha, and not favoring Tamars and other Hindus, Mihir Bajwa has received a fair share of death threats, but showed little fear. He has been quite dismissive of the threats, partly because he never married and has few family, but distant relatives, that are in the crosshairs. His parents and siblings are all since deceased. The Royal Court of the Kingdom of Jaragupta has put his name forth as a potential judge for the new WCC, with his consent.
