These are the records of The Saperetian Archive, kept up by the Saperetian Archive Service. They chronicle the international and domestic sporting and cultural events in which the nation has taken part.

On the Saperetian Archive Service
The Saperetian Archive Service was set up by the Ministry of Sport to note the historic cultural events of the nation for future generations. The main cause of this was the fact that the Ministry of Culture, who is supposed to keep track, is very unorganized, and the two ministries distrust each other (although it is mostly one-way hate from Sport to Culture) to handle important documents. The only reason why they sometimes barely work together is because parliament forces them to.

Lizzy Presley sat in the room, at the head of the table where the other ten representatives sat.

For this meeting, the State Minister for the Saperetian League had one task from her boss, the Minister of Sport:
Set up the rules.

Some things were already set. 3 points for a win. 1 for a draw. But now she had to preside over the big question: [color=red]relegation[/colour].

"Good afternoon everyone, I am glad that everyone is present." Presley began.

"What about the MoC?" asked one of the representatives.

"We, as the MoS, sent them multiple reminders, and while we do not have confirmation, I think everyone here suspects why they are not present."

"Why because they did something wrong?"

"No because they're unorganized and fucking stupid."

"I will remind everyone here that I will have to send a report of this to the MoS, so please watch your language."

"Does the MoS not agree about these statements regarding the MoC?"

"It does, I was more on about the vulgar language." sighed Presley. It was going to be quite the meeting. "But we are gathered here today to discuss certain rules that the league will adhere by. My main two things are... relegation, and tiebreakers."

"Let's start with tiebreakers."

"We are beginning with relegation." Presley had luck. Despite a poor start, most clubs that had obvious rivalries were out of the bottom three. If she could choose, she would swap FCSP for FCP, as IIFD would definetely not start making a fuss. Luck would have it that that team was performing so badly that even with only a third of the season done, they were the primary candidates. "The final spot will be automatic relegation, this was established by the law that set up the league."

"In what level of freedom are we talking regarding relegation?"

"What do you mean?"

"Aside from that one law, is there anything else dictating relegation?"

"Not from us at the MoS. We do not know what the MoC stance is."

"Right, would the representative from the MoC please clarify any restrictions from the MoC?"

*Silence*

"Perfect. I propose last 2 relagated, 8th playoffs."

"That's unfair considering only the top 1 becomes champion."

"Shut up, the only reason why you consider it unfair is because you're in 8th."

"Why would we take advice from the 3rd place on what should happen to 8-10th? Huh?"

"AT LEAST WE'RE FIGHTING FOR THE TOP, THAT MAKES SPORT EXCITING!"

"COULD BOTH REPresentatives please calm down for a moment" spouted Presley. "The IIFD concedes that the top three being close together, specifically one point apart, for one champion is exciting right?"

"...yes?"

"Would the IIFD not find it exciting if three teams were fighting for one relegation spot?"

"...but right now..."

"Right now, two games can put the bottom three one point apart. We have twelve more to go."

"..."

"Would the teams perhaps agree to one direct relegation, one playoff against the nr 2 of the 2nd league?"

"We don't have a second league."

"Yet."

"We don't have a second league this season."

"So would the teams agree to such a provision with relegation?"

Nods went around the table until one representative spoke up: "Suggestion: can we perhaps give two direct relegation spot, one playoff, with a provision that the 2nd direct team to be relegated will be CCU?"

"WHAT?"

"Can we make it IIFD instead?"

"Fuck off actually get a point before you bring in such stupid suggestions."

"I propose it to be ESC!"

"I propose it to be SSU!"

"I propose it to be TAC!"

"Are you three from the capital just gonna nominate eachother in a circle?"

"No, you're next FCP" responded all three in unison.

Presley marked in her notes: Representatives agreed to 1D 1PO. "Alright, meeting adjourned, hope to see you all by Match Day 12 for talks about tiebreakers."

She had the impression nobody had heard that during the commotion.
