Okay time for a small humanitarian operation. TECHNICALLY they aren't military, so TECHNICALLY I'm not over the limit of boots on the ground XD But I will change it if you want (probably less security)

Extremely fun little thread. I'd love to sail a couple frigates past to keep tabs on the situation, but given how deep inland the fighting seems to be I'm not sure there would be much for me to do besides issue a stern letter. My nation doesn't have much capacity for even a modest humanitarian mission or, heaven forbid, an actual ground intervention even approaching the troop cap.

Edit: I clearly badly misread the thread. I would love to do a sail-past of both factions' territory, particularly in order to protect commercial shipping interests. Would such a story have legs?

I'm still considering, the type of support of Mervay beyond humanitarian aid, mostly in the timeframe sense; 2018 was an busy year for the military between an coup and subsequent intervention in favour of the legitimate government in an ally state, and the situation in Apotos and Yuktobania, which means that any possible support would come by mid-2019 at the earliest.

So... I would also like to formalize who and what I am operating with.

For starters, Mangaire. Problem is, this is 2015 - Caja and Kiana joined the company in 2018. So, I need to set up an alternative, which should not be a problem.
What can they offer? In 2013, the RKA sold their surplusses of AA-40s and AA-42s and struck a deal regarding old Midrabs. Then there are the old supplies of when the Lutetiian Armed Forces were disbanded.
Plus, if the customer asks nicely, Mangaire might be able to procure a few special somethings or other hopefully interesting things.

Who do they offer it to? Well... whoever's going to buy. Mangaire is not interested in the resolution of the conflict. They are interested in the money. If both sides buy, then both sides buy and Mangaire will happily take it. If it takes longer for the conflict to end thanks to that, then, well, that is a local issue, not theirs.
Both sides can, of course, also buy at the same time. We'll talk numbers when and if we get going.

Mercs... I decided against offering mercs. I am going to use them, though. The Alsaqaar Mercenary Company will provide escorts for the freighter/s, how much depends on the threat level.
Bonargrid, also depending on the threat level, might provide harbour security, strength depending on the threat level.

Either two small frigates, or two long range patrol boats. I would very much prefer a crisis breaks out while GU ships happen to be in the area type playstyle as opposed to something concerted sent from the homeland. My country doesn't have the capacity for a large scale intervention.
