Okay... Infinity did not do too bad, because we're all used to getting bottom 5 results here at the studios. But, after such a good streak with two very surprising top 10's, some were disappointed. Sub-Zero Degrees wasn't, however. They took it like they meant it, which was good for them.

Anyways, as per usual, GTV has held "Eghoo's National Song Selection" again. This editions ENSS had some great artists, performances and songs overall. After a close vote, the winner has been chosen. And the winner was...

Image

Back-Up Plan! Back-Up Plan is a punk rock -band, which was made by guitarist and the lead singer, Oscar Freez, along with the bass playerc, Liam Boiver, with the final member of the band, the drummer, Gary Tolk, joining two years later in 2017. They entered ENSS and won with nearly 30% of the votes. So, the song going to this edition of WorldVision is...

Broken Eyes!

Nation Name: Eghpp
Participating Broadcaster: General TV (GTV)
Song Title: Broken eyes
Artist(s)/Band Name(s): The Treven

Tune: Bulevard of Broken Dreams - Green Day

Bloom Festival - Results

Postby Republic of Jaliserra » Fri Sep 04, 2026 3:10 am

Sky: Welcome back to the second Bloom Festival, live from the Stadiu Agyao in Rayuko!

Kevin: Now, it is time to announce the international jury votes for the entries.

Sky: Here we go!

Image

Kevin: Alright. Now let's see the total amount of points each entry has received.

Sky: Perla Guinto, the international juries have given you...

18 points.

Perla waves at the camera.

Kevin: Dusev, you have received...

31 points.

Roberto and Michel of Dusev fist bump.

Sky: Aaron, Irah Ganda, you have received from the international juries...

15 points.

Aaron and Irah Ganda look at each other, slightly surprised they didn't receive that many points, but then they start to laugh a little.

Kevin: Now, Starlight. You have accumulated...

37 points! Not bad!

The members of Starlight high-five, then start clapping for each other.

Sky: Hoo! We're getting close to the end here. Oliver Abella, you have accumulated...

40 points!

Oliver looks shocked at the camera then laughs at himself, while fans cheer, as he did not expect to get that many points from the juries.

Kevin: We're down to our last contestant.

Sky: DOROTHEA, you need at least 41 points to be the next winner of the Bloom Festival.

Kevin: The juries have given you...

A split-screen between Oliver and DOROTHEA is shown. Kevin and Sky deliberately wait a few seconds before announcing DOROTHEA's points to build up suspense.

.

.

.

Kevin & Sky: 63 POINTS!

Sky: Which means that...

Kevin & Sky: DOROTHEA, YOU ARE THE WINNER OF THE SECOND BLOOM FESTIVAL!

DOROTHEA (Dorothea Manalo) walks on stage, surprised that she won as the audience cheers for her.

Kevin: So, Dorothea, how do you feel about winning this edition of the Bloom Festival?

Dorothea pauses for a bit, before she starts speaking.

Dorothea: Where do I begin? Joining the Bloom Festival and now winning it... has changed my life in the best way possible. I don't think I would've won this without your support, Doritos (her fans).

The audience, especially Doritos, go crazy (in a good way) after hearing Dorothea's response.

Sky: Wonderful! Are you excited to represent Jaliserra at the 129th WorldVision Song Contest?

Dorothea: Yea, hah! 'Excited' is an understatement. I'm over the moon!

The volume of the audience clapping increases.

Kevin: What a night! Anyway, ladies and gentlemen,

Sky: Put your hands together for DOROTHEA once again, for her reprise of "All Too Real"!

The audience goes into standing ovation.

Rayuko, Jaliserra—The conclusion of the second Bloom Festival was marked by the victory of indie artist, DOROTHEA.

Dorothea Manalo, mononymously known as DOROTHEA, is a native of Samana, a large cultural hub in Jerano's south. She was declared the winner of the most recent Bloom Festival, accumulating 63 points from the international juries with her self-penned song, "All Too Real". When asked about her reactions to winning the Bloom Festival, the 22-year-old replied that it had changed her life in the best way possible.

Country pop arist Oliver Abella finished in 2nd with "Replay", while relatively new pop group Starlight rounded off the top three with "VAPOR".

DOROTHEA will represent Jaliserra at the 129th WorldVision Song Contest, to be held this month in either Tomerion or Suurna.

‎ AND OUR HOST IS... ‎

Good evening everyone! What a week it's been... I hope you're all ready and raring to go for our next edition of the WorldVision Song Contest. But where exactly are we holding it? Over the past week, that's what you all have endeavoured to find out. As a reminder, we had 2 bids – one quite floral hosting in the Snezhnograd Hydrodrome in Snezhnograd, Tomerion, and one atop the high seas on the ExpoBarge in Suurna, and both bids were absolutely spectacular! We received 14 sets of votes, which does seem awfully high... so thank each and every one of you who voted for making your opinions known! Without further ado...

In second place is...
Snezhnograd, Tomerion!
with a total of 152 points.

Which means that...
Anchors aweigh! Avast, ye landlubbers – hoist the main sail and chart a course for Adventure Ahoy in
Suurna!
...which won our host vote with 156 points!

How exhilarating! Of course, sign-ups are now CLOSED and our host should put up the IC thread at their nearest convenience. Hope you're all ready for another exciting edition of WorldVision!

Hey all, I just firstly want to start with a massive thank you to all of you for voting! 14 is.. Well a lot of voters and I am so very grateful you all chose me, this entry has been a long time coming and means a lot to me - so I’m glad I’m able to share it with you.

I always just want to say a quick commiseration to Tomerion, it was a very close race, and it was exciting to watch.

Now, of course you’ve all be waiting for me to post the IC thread, which I will in just a second, but I firstly wish to run through some of my hosts requests which I made in the bid, and would now wish to re-iterate:

Well as you may have seen the recap linked above has quite a few moving parts and so to ensure that it all runs smoothly I need two (Potentially three) things from you:

- Your nation’s name in French, Spanish, German and Icelandic. These can be sent to me through TG, or on discord - of course this is my preferred method. If it is *dire* I can accept it written at the bottom of the entry but I stress a TG or DM to either the WVC or me is Prefered.
- If your tune does not have a background video, or you wish to have your own background video PLEASE SEND IT TO ME! I would love to have the recap look exactly how you envision, but I can’t do that without your help.

finally, this edition, similar to the previous will be divided into the entry thread and the show thread, for now the entry thread will be barebones, all intervals host banter etc. etc. will be placed on the show thread with the semis and the grand finals - don't panic, I’m hard at work making sure this edition is a great one!

Any issues please dm me Isaac_leee or tg me, I’m far more active on the former so that is a much better way to reach me.

Without further ado, ALL ABOARD!

It hasn't been a week and we're up to number 29 already?

By the way, postimg.cc is unaccessible in Indonesia without using a VPN as the site is blocked by the government and ISPs. Since a sizeable chunk of the WV community is based here, this means a number of us actually cannot see many of the images that you guys have posted. So I would like to suggest considering other image hosting sites, especially for posts on the IC thread.

‎ DEADLINE CHANGES ‎

Afternoon all! It's been almost a week since the opening of the IC thread, and I hope all your entries are coming along nicely... or at all, y'know...

Anyway! We've got some news regarding deadline changes. Our wonderful host is unfortunately indisposed between 5 and 10 October, which is where the end of the Grand Final voting period would fall, should we have semi-finals. We're hoping to get ahead of this so we've decided to extend the posting period by a couple days to 24 September. We hope you'll all use the extra couple of days wisely!

So our deadlines now look a little something like this...

Deadline for Entries; Entry Review Period Begins
after 24th September 2026, 23:59 BST

Voting Opens
25th September 2026, 12:00 BST

Voting Closes
after 2nd October 2026, 23:59 BST

If we do get semi-finals, you'll have the opportunity to tweak your entries between the reveal of our qualifiers and the opening of voting. As such, the rest will look a bit like this...

Grand Final Voting Opens
4th October 2026, 21:00 BST

Voting Closes
after 12th October 2026, 23:59 BST

If you've got any questions, please don't hesitate to reach out to us and ask them. Hope you're all excited to set sail for Adventure Ahoy! in Suurna!

"Do a 24 hour deadline reminder or rap in Chinese." [/tiredibadiscordserverinjoke]

Me: You have about 24 hours to get your entry up and posted for Worldvision 129. We've got a decent amount so far even if they might not be enough for semi-finals, but it wouldn't hurt to get some more. Just remember that your entry needs at least these two things for it to officially count:

  1. A header containing artist and song names.
  2. A complete set of lyrics.

If it has only one or, worse, neither of these then it will not count. So best to get all of that done as soon as possible before worrying about RP and other such stuff. Hell, use the review period to finish off the RP if you think you'll need that extra bit of time, but you'll need get all of the above done first. If you don't think you'll be able to get everything done in time then there's no need to fret, just save it for 130.

Nothing much else to add here, and I'm sure our gracious host would be more than happy to edit this post (or perhaps even provide a double post) to add some more information, so best of luck to everyone and we here at the WorldVision Committee can't wait to see you all on board the ExpoBarge as it sails around Suurna.

We also have our voting forums. May I please remind you you do *not* rank our AQs (Suurna and Rugenia) in a semi final vote.
