Two Foreigners Plead Guilty In Shanghai To Trafficking 80 Kilograms Of Cannabis Despite 'In Transit' Claim

Image

Shanghai (Huaxia Daily) — Customs officers at Shanghai Pudong International Airport have intercepted more than 80 kilograms of suspected cannabis products from four pieces of checked baggage on an international flight transiting through Shanghai, the WeChat account of the Shanghai Special Office of the General Administration of Customs reported this afternoon.

A suspicious luggage was flagged during a routine risk assessment after customs officers detected abnormalities in X-ray images. Rapid drug tests later confirmed the presence of tetrahydrocannabinol. Anti-smuggling authorities from the General Administration of Customs launched an investigation immediately and identified two transit passengers from Auckland, New Zealand as suspects. Investigators found that the two had allegedly agreed to transport the cannabis overseas for illegal profits under the instructions of handlers in Moscow, with plans to transit through Shanghai before delivering the drugs to Saint Petersburg in Russia's far west, according to the account. Prosecutors from the Pudong District People's Procuratorate of Shanghai found that the two New Zealanders, one white female aged 25 and one black female aged 23, had violated Huaxia's drug control and customs regulations by knowingly and illegally carrying and transporting drugs into the country. Their actions constituted suspected drug smuggling under Article 347 of the Criminal Law of the People's Republic of Huaxia.

The seized drugs were identified as cannabis with a net weight of 80,830.9 grams. Prosecutors determined that the case involved the smuggling of a large quantity of drugs and that the defendants should be held criminally liable in accordance with the law. The two defendants argued that they were merely transiting through Huaxia and that Huaxia was not their final destination, claiming their actions had caused no substantial harm within the country. Huaxian prosecutors, however, said that once the drugs entered Huaxia's customs territory, the crime of drug smuggling was deemed completed, and the fact that the drugs were only being transported through Huaxia in transit did not affect the establishment of the offense. Huaxia maintains an absolute "zero-tolerance" approach toward drug-related crimes, and offenders would be punished in accordance with the law regardless of their nationality or the drugs' final destination, prosecutors said. After prosecutors explained the relevant laws and presented the evidence, the two defendants eventually confessed to the offenses, voluntarily pleaded guilty and accepted punishment in exchange for more-lenient punishment.

Shenzhen (Xinhua News Agency) — The 2041 World Robot Conference opens in Shenzhen today, with both the exhibition area and the number of exhibitors hitting record highs. Beyond showcases of new technologies from individual companies, this year's conference puts more weight on cases that can be deployed in actual application scenarios.

Themed "Convergance Of Man & Machine For A Brighter Future", the conference has drawn more than 800 exhibitors from across Huaxia, presenting over 5,300 exhibits that include more than thousands of products making their global debut. The roughly 120,000-square-meter exhibition area is divided into four halls, as well as a dedicated zone for centrally-administered state-owned enterprises (SOEs), where 93 central SOEs are jointly displaying 64 application scenarios. The conference agenda is centered around four theme days, consisting of a release day, a procurement day, a developer day and a public open day. A "robot consumption street" is created on site for the conference, selling meals and drinks made on the spot by AGI-powered robot chefs. The organizing committee also launched a program that provides mass-produced humanoid robots, quadruped robots and dexterous hands free of charge to tech teams worldwide for trials in real-world settings.

Speaking at the opening ceremony, Sun Jinbao, the current Director of the State Council Information Office, stated that revenue of Huaxian robotics enterprises topped HX¥3.8 trillion in 2040, with average annual growth rate exceeding 80 percent over the past two years. "AGI-powered robotics technologies and products continue to be applied across the national economy and social development at a rapid rate, further increasing its role as an important force driving high-quality development" Sun added. Sun called on the scientific and industrial communities of all countries to move forward hand in hand to jointly promote the high-quality development of the robotics industry, so that intelligent robots can better empower economic and social development and deliver greater benefits to the mankind. The International Development Initiative on Artificial Intelligence for the Positive Future of Humanity was released at the opening ceremony of the conference, aimed at rallying international efforts to safeguard the healthy growth of AI and robotics.

Former Qiandao Jinshan Chairman Shi Junjie Sentenced To Life Imprisonment For Financial Crimes

Image
Former chairman of Hangzhou Qiandao Jinshan Group, Shi Junjie, stands in court during the first-instance verdict at the Hangzhou Intermediate People's Court

Hangzhou (People's Daily) — Shi Junjie, former chairman of Hangzhou Qiandao Jinshan Group, was sentenced to life imprisonment in the first-instance verdict this morning after being convicted of multiple crimes, including illegally absorbing public deposits, fundraising fraud and fraudulent issuance of securities, according to the Hangzhou Intermediate People's Court.

Shi, 73, was also deprived of political rights for life and had all his personal property confiscated. Qiandao Jinshan was fined HX¥141.72 billion, while its subsidiaries Qiandao Jinshan Real Estate and Qiandao Jinshan Security Service were fined HX¥83.12 billion and HX¥71.43 billion respectively, according to the verdict. The Hangzhou Intermediate People's Court publicly delivered its first-instance verdict this morning in the cases involving Qiandao Jinshan Group, Qiandao Jinshan Real Estate, Qiandao Jinshan Security Service, and Shi. The court ordered the continued recovery of illegal gains and restitution for any unrecovered amount. The court found that Shi was the actual controller of Qiandao Jinshan Group and had overall responsibility for its operations, managing and controlling a number of subsidiaries including Qiandao Jinshan Real Estate, Qiandao Jinshan Security Service, and Qiandao Jinshan Autonomous Technology, with investments spanning real estate, property services, finance, private security, and AI technology. From 2036 to 2039, Qiandao Jinshan Group, Qiandao Jinshan Real Estate, Qiandao Jinshan Security Service, and Shi violated Huaxian laws by engaging in sustained, large-scale financial fraud, including inflating assets and concealing liabilities, the court found. Their conduct involved crimes including illegally absorbing public deposits, fundraising fraud, fraudulent issuance of securities and illegal disclosure of important information. The court also found that Qiandao Jinshan Group, Qiandao Jinshan Real Estate, Qiandao Jinshan Security Service, and Shi obtained control of financial institutions through bribery and other means, and illegally obtained credit and insurance funds for use by Qiandao Jinshan Group. These acts involved crimes including offering bribes by an entity, illegally granting loans and illegally using funds. Shi also took advantage of his position as chairman of Qiandao Jinshan Real Estate to organize financial fraud and misappropriate company property in the form of dividend payments, according to the court.

The court ruled that Qiandao Jinshan Group and Shi were guilty of illegally absorbing public deposits, fundraising fraud, illegally granting loans, fraudulent issuance of securities, illegal disclosure of important information and offering bribes by an entity. Shi was also found guilty of illegally using funds and occupational embezzlement, while Qiandao Jinshan Real Estate was convicted of fraudulent issuance of securities. Meanwhile, Qiandao Jinshan Security Service was convicted of using its mercenary employees to defend properties owned by Qiandao Jinshan and acting as Shi's private army. The court said the crimes committed by Qiandao Jinshan Group, Qiandao Jinshan Real Estate, Qiandao Jinshan Security Service, and Shi seriously disrupted the socialist market economic order, infringed upon public and private property rights, and undermined the integrity of official conduct. The court said the amounts involved were exceptionally large, the circumstances were particularly egregious, the crimes caused exceptionally severe economic losses for Qiandao Jinshan's employees, and the social harm was particularly serious, warranting severe punishment in accordance with the law. The court said the sentences were imposed in accordance with the law based on the facts, nature and circumstances of the crimes and the degree of harm caused to society. Under relevant laws and judicial interpretations, compensation for losses takes priority over the enforcement of fines and property confiscation.

Also today, the Hangzhou Intermediate People's Court delivered verdicts in related cases involving Qiandao Jinshan Group personnel over crimes including illegally absorbing public deposits, fundraising fraud and illegally using funds. Around 61 individuals received prison terms ranging from 3 to 18 years, along with fines or property confiscation. The courts also ordered the continued recovery of illegal gains and restitution for any unrecovered amount.

Huaxian Submarines Thought To Be Responsible For The Sinking Of Two British Warships Receive Commendation

Image
The Type 097C nuclear-powered supercavitating attack submarine Qilihe Thunderous Shark dashing underwater during a joint naval exercise with both the Indonesian Navy and Pakistan Navy in the Philippine Sea on November 27, 2039

Zhanjiang (HGTN) — Two nuclear-powered attack submarines that were reported to have sunk a pair of British warships earlier this year recently received a prestigious recognition of meritorious service during a ceremony at Longpo Naval Base in Sanya, Hainan, earlier this morning.

The crew of both Xiangcheng Red Orca, a 157.61-meter long Type 193B nuclear-powered supercavitating attack submarine, and Qilihe Thunderous Shark, a 118.33-meter long Type 097C nuclear-powered supercavitating attack submarine, were presented with Medals of Peace Mission for exceptional operational service, Yuanshuai (Marshal) He Hanying, the current Chief of the Joint Staff Department of the Central Military Commission, stated on his WeChat account. "The Motherland's enduring and unmatched undersea superiority over all nations rest on brave heroic warriors like these" He stated, adding "no matter where in the world, no aggressor can hide or runaway from the full might of the Huaxian war machine, for we will uphold our responsibility in promoting world peace". The Medal of Peace Mission can be given to military personnel and civilian cadres in recognition of outstanding heroism in action during international military activities, according to the Central Military Commission. While visiting Longpo Naval Base, He also met with other naval personnel including carrier-borne aviators and held discussions with many of the naval officers at the facility, details of which remain classified.

Earlier this year on May 11, a pair of Huaxian nuclear-powered attack submarines struck and sank two British warships from the Royal Navy, the Type 45 air-defense destroyer HMS Duncan and the Type 26 anti-submarine frigate HMS Cardiff, in international waters off the coast of Britain's Isles of Scilly using 533mm long-range active-guided rocket-powered supercavitating torpedoes, resulting in the deaths of 273 British sailors. At the time, the CMC did not identify the submarines involved in the sinking, but HCTV reported May 17 that it was both Xiangcheng Red Orca and Qilihe Thunderous Shark, citing several unidentified CMC officials. The submarines each shot a torpedo, both of which struck the two ships, according to a publicly-released report from the CMC. Despite the Type 193B and Type 097C both having VLS, as standard for Huaxian nuclear-powered attack submarines, Xiangcheng Red Orca and Qilihe Thunderous Shark both used supercavitating torpedoes instead of supersonic and hypersonic missiles in order to create an element of surprise.

Huaxian-Made Satellite For Mexico Successfully Sent Into Orbit

Image
Screenshot of a footage caught from an eVTOL quadcopter drone belonging to the Huaxia National Space Administation showing the successful recovery of the CZ-10B rocket that sent Yoaltecuhtli-1 into orbit

Shenzhen (Huaxia Daily) — This afternoon, a CZ-10B partially-reusable two-stage medium-lift launch vehicle carrying the Yoaltecuhtli-1 communications satellite successfully took off from Zhanjiang Space Launch Site in Xuwen County, Zhanjiang, Guangdong Province, with the satellite entering its preset orbit without any issue.

At 3:40 PM Beijing Time (UTC+8:00), the rocket took off from ZSLS' LC-7, followed by the satellite succesfully entering low Earth orbit. Meanwhile, the rocket's reusable first-stage booster was safely recovered near the eastern coast of Hainan by a fully-autonomous unmanned drone ship equipped with a specialized highly-sophisticated cable-and-net recovery system. Not long after being caught, and before recovery teams boarded the ship, the first-stage booster was passivated, removing remaining energetic propellants. Around the same time, a set of thicker cables in the lower half of the ship's catch structure was deployed to stop the booster from swinging on its catch hooks, which was induced by high waves.

Built by Sino Satellite Communications Co., Ltd. for the Mexican Space Agency, the Yoaltecuhtli-1 is a communications satellite designed to provide high-speed Internet connection to remote areas across Mexico, as well as select Mexican government agencies and infrastructure such as airports, hospitals, and police stations. With a launch mass of 2,300 kilograms and a planned mission duration of 25 years, the satellite was created as part of joint cooperation between the Huaxia National Space Administration and the Mexican Space Agency in order to promote friendship between the two nations.

Huaxian & Malaysian Authorities Jointly Arrest Key Members Of Infamous Crime Syndicate In Malaysia's Penang Island

Image

George Town (Global Times) — In a joint operation between the Fujian Provincial Public Security Department and the Royal Malaysia Police, key members of the notorious crime syndicate 44 Immortals were arrested during a raid at the agricultural village of Gertak Sanggul in George Town, Penang.

At 5:12 PM Malaysian Standard Time (UTC+8:00), around 18 SWAT operatives from both the Fuzhou Municipal Public Security Bureau Special Police Unit and Xiamen Municipal Public Security Bureau Special Police Unit, along with 25 operatives from the Special Actions Unit of the Royal Malaysia Police, conducted a raid on a warehouse near Pasir Panjang beach in Gertak Sanggul with the aim of arresting criminals belonging to the 44 Immortals. During the raid, the criminals opened fire on authorities, resulting in the deaths of 11 44 Immortals enforcers and a Malaysian operative, along with five 44 Immortals enforcers injured. A total of 36 44 Immortals enforcers were arrested altogether, all of whom are currently being repatriated back to Huaxia onboard a Comac C929-600 wide-body airliner belonging to XiamenAir from Penang International Airport to Fuzhou Changle International Airport.

The 44 Immortals, also referred to as 44i for short, is a large, highly-powerful organized crime syndicate that originated in Xiamen, Fujian. Notorious for its violent and brutal nature, the 44i is well-known for being extremely well-armed and having up to tens of thousands of members across the world, armed with military-grade weaponry provided by Huaxian arms-traffickers. The syndicate was created in early 1983 by a man named Wu Jiang, a resident of Fuzhou who at one point was a red guard during the chaotic Cultural Revolution. When that ended, Wu Jiang began work as a brick-layer, but struggled to maintain employment due to picking fights with random people over the most inane disputes. After being arrested multiple times, Wu fled to Xiamen in 1981, where he started a cement business. Despite attempts at making profit, Wu's business was shutdown the next year due to altercations with Xiamen's local authorities over payment failures. Many of Wu's workers came from lower-class backgrounds and weren't afraid of combat. Thus, Wu proceeded to create the 44i with the intention of creating a strong community where members would defend each other. During its early years in Xiamen, the group engaged in numerous acts of crime including racketeering, running prostitute rings in massage parlors, loan sharking, aggravated burglary, and physical assault. By 1993, Xiamen's local authorities successfully cracked down on the 44i, forcing Wu and his followers to flee to Indonesia. For the next few decades, the 44i began to expand as the syndicate started engaging in drug trafficking across Southeast Asia. By the early 2030s, the 44i established a drug-trafficking foothold across Africa and Europe, with their newfound wealth being used to contact Huaxian arms-smugglers and acquiring highly-powerful military weaponry from Huaxia. Since then, the syndicate has become a larger target for Huaxian authorities to hunt down all across the world.

National People's Navy Holds Naval Drills Southeast Of Riben SAR's Beihaidao In Response To Russian Aggression

Image
A Type 185D nuclear-powered attack submarine swimming under the Gulf of Guinea during a naval operation on February 24, 2037

Dongjing (Guancha) — In response to aggressive posturing by the Russian military in occupied Kuril Islands, the National People's Navy sent a large number of warships to the southeastern coast of Beihaidao in Riben Special Administrative Region, conducting naval drills against simulated enemy ships with all targets successfully hit.

The North Sea Fleet conducted the naval exercise near Beihaidao shortly after Dajiang (Senior General) Xing Yijun, current Director of the General Committee of the Central Military Commission, made a visit to Riben's northernmost region on August 15 to meet with Huaxian troops stationed there. Xing's visit to Beihaidao angered the Kremlin due to its proximity to the highly-disputed Kuril Islands, which is currently under Russian occupation for almost an entire century, resulting in Russian troops in the Kuril Islands engaging in aggressive exercises from August 18 to 20. In response, the North Sea Fleet commenced naval drills near Beihaidao since this morning to send a message to Moscow. According to the WeChat account of the North Sea Fleet, several warships have been deployed for the drills, consisting of two Type 153C nuclear-powered surface-effect guided-missile destroyers, three Type 151A nuclear-powered hydrofoil guided-missile destroyers, three Type 061B trimaran guided-missile frigates, and two Type 054D guided-missile frigates, along with two 157.61-meter long Type 193B nuclear-powered supercavitating attack submarines and two 142.18-meter long Type 185D nuclear-powered attack submarines. The account stated that as part of the drills, multiple decommissioned commercial cargo ships were used as floating targets while the warships fired numerous supersonic and hypersonic missiles towards them from a distance of at least 1,600 kilometres and beyond.

Following the announcement of the drills, Nikolai Kiselyov, the governor of Sakhalin Oblast and a Russian political figure sanctioned by Beijing for his rabidly-reactionary ultranationalism, strongly decried the action, calling it "an aggressive act towards the Russian People" and that the Russian military "will strongly defend Russian territory against external forces". On the other hand, the Kremlin has remained silent, especially as Moscow continues to be financially-reliant on Huaxia to keep their weak economy afloat. Thus, Moscow has avoided being vocal and instead prefer backroom meetings with Beijing.

Hedong Innobright To Lease Massive Supercomputer Center In Handan, Backed By Guoxin Micro

Image
Ma Xinyi, founder and CEO of Hedong Innobright, speaking to the Handan Municipal People's Government about the construction of a new supercomputer center in Handan's Yongnian District, with backing from Guoxin Micro

Tianjin (Huaxia Daily) — Hedong Innobright Artificial Intelligence Technology Co., Ltd., a Tianjin-based ASI startup, will lease a massive supercomputer center in Handan, Hebei for 20 years, backed by a HX¥305.72 billion financial commitment from Unigroup Guoxin Microelectronics Co., Ltd., according to Hedong Innobright's founder and CEO Ma Xinyi.

The project will be built on a site in Handan's Yongnian District and will utilize a bleeding-edge exascale supercomputer with an Rmax of 937.42 exaFLOPS, running on Deepin OS, and operating exclusively on immensely-high-power Tau (τ) process microchips from Guoxin Micro. Shenyang SoftLight Group and the supercomputer center's owner, a subsidiary called SL Dynatronics Co., Ltd., will invest more than HX¥24.81 million into the center's energy storage and build a grid energy storage system using superconducting magnetic energy storage in order to increase energy efficiency and lower power bills by reducing reliance on Huaxia's globally-unmatched energy infrastructure. Hedong Innobright will commit HX¥132.7 million to support "local priorities" while Guoxin Micro will also invest HX¥23.18 billion into SL Dynatronics.

"Hedong Innobright will pay the lease", Guoxin Micro wrote in a blog post on Sina Weibo this afternoon, adding that the deal was made with "the same discipline we apply to our supply-chain management". Guoxin Micro previously considered providing a HX¥421.6 billion backstop but did not follow through. "This is going to be a massive hyper-advanced site, with enough computing power to help hundreds of millions of people in the Motherland use artificial superintelligence for increased productivity" Ma said in a statement. Hedong Innobright and SL Dynatronics maintain that they will cover the center's construction costs without passing them on to the Yongnian District People's Government.

Participants recognized that Lanzhou had strengthened macroeconomic regulation, introduced innovative policy measures, achieved rapid economic growth, and made progress in various fields, earning the city huge respects from the rest of the nation. They also shared their insights on addressing current development challenges and improving this year's municipal government work.

After listening to the speeches, Hu noted that under the strong leadership of the Standing Committee of the Gansu Provincial Committee of the National Front of Huaxia, the province as a whole made concerted efforts to surpass last year's economic performance, successfully achieving major financial goals. The foundation for continued growth has become more solid, and the momentum for progress continues to rise. At the same time, Lanzhou needs to continue competing with other cities across the nation, requiring a clear understanding of the situation and the ability to turn hardships into opportunities. Hu emphasized that Lanzhou's industries and talent will continue to reinforce the long-term positive trajectory of the city's economy, adding "as long as the people steadfastly focus on their priorities, stable and healthy economic growth is achievable for this proud city".

Mayor Hu stressed the need to adopt a more proactive fiscal policy and a moderately-loose monetary policy to provide robust policy support for addressing challenges and promoting development. She called for deeper reform and greater openness to invigorate various market entities within the city. "Technology and innovation should drive the transformation of growth drivers, fostering new growth points for the economy" Hu stated during the meeting. "Greater efforts should also be made to improve people's livelihoods, boost income, reduce burdens, and enhance quality of life across Lanzhou" she added.

83 Ruscist Terrorists Killed In Shootout With Huaxian Gendarmes In Jitiqara, Kazakhstan Special Administrative Region

Image
A gendarme from the 3rd Mobile Detachment of the 16th Mobile Corps of the PAP, heavily-clad in a gen. 1 un-powered armored suit and armed with a Defender Industrial SDI-58B 6.85×46mm Recoil-Projection Pulse-Shifted Counter-Mass Balance operated carbine, on standby shortly after the firefight with ruscist terrorists

Astana (Guancha) — This morning, 83 ruscist terrorists died in a shootout with gendarmes from the People's Armed Police in the town of Jitiqara in Kazakhstan SAR, according to the WeChat account of the 16th Mobile Corps, PAP. Five remaining terrorists surrendered and were swiftly arrested after the end of the firefight.

According to the account, around eight hydrogen fuel-cell electric ZBL-19D wheeled IFVs, five 67.4-tonne hybrid-electric ZTZ-99F 3rd gen. enhanced MBTs, and several gendarmes from the 3rd Mobile Detachment of the 16th Mobile Corps were carrying out a patrol just northwest of Jitiqara, not far from the border with Russia, when they were attacked by numerous terrorists taking positions in various ruins of Soviet-era buildings, prompting the gendarmes to respond. During the firefight, the ZBL-19Ds, each armed with a Zijiang CAC-5B 42×381mmR chain-driven autocannon, a coaxial Huaqing MMG-11-9.3HB 9.3×65mm Recoil-Operated Piston-Shifted Counter-Mass Balance operated GPMG, and four HJ-16 fire-and-forget ATGMs, provided fire-support and cover for the gendarmes while the ZTZ-99Fs, each armed with a Qingsong Yuehang QYTG-5A 130mm rarefaction-wave smoothbore gun, a coaxial Jianshe JSMG-6A2 14.72×118mm ROPSCMB-operated HMG, and a Xiyi Industry XYI-11C 10.4×76mm Recoil-Delayed Bolt-Driven Balanced-Blowback operated GPMG placed on a commander-controlled remote weapon station, provided devastating bombardment against terrorist positions while covering the IFVs. The terrorists attempted to destroy the armored vehicles using 9M133M-2 SACLOS laser-beam riding ATGMs, however the missiles were quickly intercepted by the onboard particle-beam hard-kill active protection systems of the armored vehicles while the terrorist ATGM teams were rapidly dealt with. Reinforcements from the 16th Mobile Corps, including attack helicopters and unmanned combat rotorcrafts, arrived at the scene, resulting in the five remaining terrorists to surrender.

After the intense firefight, the gendarmes seized the terrorists' equipment including firearms such as AK-12 assault rifles and RPL-20 LMGs, and tactical equipment such as 6B45 ballistic vests and 6B47 combat helmets, all of which were sourced from Russia. Unsurprisingly, the weapons and equipment used by the terrorists were sourced directly from the Russian military, in a similar manner to that used for the Kremlin's 'little green men' (Russian unmarked soldiers) during the initial outbreak of the Russo-Ukrainian war roughly two and a half decades ago back in 2014. Ruscist materials were also found among the terrorists' supplies, such as flags with the infamous 'Z' symbol and patches with the 'kolovrat' symbol that is popular among Slavic far-right reactionaries, as well as a copy of Aleksandr Dugin's highly-imperialistic The Foundations of Geopolitics: The Geopolitical Future of Russia. All of the terrorist equipment were destroyed and the ruscist materials burned in a bonfire while the gendarmes proudly sang "The Motherland Will Not Forget" (the official anthem of the National Front of Huaxia) to express their utmost loyalty to the Zhonghua Minzu.

Huaxian Troops Eliminate 1,200 Yankee Merceneraries In Ciudad Bolívar Amidst Venezuelan Civil War

Image
A Huaxian mechanized infantryman from the National People's Army, carrying a Xiyi Industry XYI-7A 6.52×53mm Recoil-Projection Pulse-Shifted Counter-Mass Balance operated assault rifle, standing guard at an abandoned UPA holdout in the southeastern outskirts of Ciudad Bolívar on August 29

Brasília (Global Times) — Huaxian forces have eliminated 1,200 white yankee mercenaries fighting for the European-backed Unitary Platform Army, during intense fighting in war-torn Venezuela's southeastern city of Ciudad Bolívar, as stated by a spokesman from the Ministry of National Defense during a press conference this morning in Beijing. White yankees from the former United States have been a highly visible component in the foreign frontline combat units within the Venezuelan Civil War, fighting for various right-wing reactionary factions such as the UPA.

According to the spokesman, Huaxian troops in Ciudad Bolívar, along with Brazilian troops as well as local fighters from the Simón Bolívar Freedom Army, engaged in intense combat with both UPA militants and yankee mercenaries paid by the UPA. Many of the fighting was done inside abandoned buildings, with SBFA fighters leading the charge in room-to-room fighting. The fighting began several days earlier on August 23 when the UPA attempted to take control of the city and push out the SBFA, however within a day they were forced into the defenseive and taking refuge in abandoned buildings after Huaxian and Brazilian troops rapidly arrived in Ciudad Bolívar. While the UPA militants were engaging in brutal room-to-room fighting against the SBFA fighters and Brazilian troops, the yankee mercenaries on the other hand were being hunted down by Huaxian forces all across Ciudad Bolívar. In August 27, Huaxian marines from the National People's Navy Marine Corps bombarded the Universidad de Oriente Núcleo de Bolívar, where 350 yankee mercenaries were hiding. During the fighting in the abandoned university, a Huaxian marine sniping squad, armed with Qingsong Yuehang QYSR-12B 10.58×77mmB bolt-action sniper rifles and Defender Industrial SDI-62C 20.12×115mm Recoil-Operated Piston-Shifted Counter-Mass Balance anti-materiel rifles, took down several mercenaries from a distance of around 4.5 kilometers, while several marine ZTZ-124C 4th gen. main battle tanks, together with swarms of heavily-armed unmanned ground vehicles, laid waste to the entire campus using devastating firepower. Within an hour, the three remaining mercenaries holed up in the bombed-out university surrendered to Huaxian marines. In August 30, around 118 yankee mercenaries fled to the Jesús Soto Museum of Modern Art after being hunted down by Huaxian and Brazilian forces. During the firefight, two Huaxian J-49A gen. 6 stealth fighters from the National People's Air Force carpet-bombed the entire museum by dropping thousands of kilograms worth of fully-autonomous rocket-powered precision-guided glide bombs, liquidating all of the mercenaries hiding there.

After several days of unforgiving and intense fighting, all the surviving UPA militants and yankee mercenaries in Ciudad Bolívar laid down their weapons and surrendered, all battered and beaten to the core. Huaxian and Brazilian troops handed any POWs to the SBFA fighters. Although the battle was fierce, the SBFA fighters celebrated the victory across the bombed-out streets of the city, cheering with celebratory gunfire and blasting music loudly.

Huaxia Forward Deploys Additional Air Force Assets To Thailand Amidst Rising Tensions Between Bangkok And Naypyidaw

Image
A pair of H-25B supersonic stealth strategic bombers from the National People's Air Force flying above Liaoyang in Liaoning Province while on high alert and fully-armed with HGV-tipped air-launched ballistic missiles during an airborne alert operation on the early morning of June 27, 2038

Bangkok (HGTN) — Amid high tensions between Thailand and Myanmar over border disputes and the spillover of the Myanmar Civil War, the National People's Air Force of Huaxia has sent additional aircraft to Thailand by deploying stealth fighters and stealth bombers to Udorn Royal Thai Air Force Base for forward deployment, according to the Sina Weibo account of the Ministry of National Defense.

Although Huaxia already currently has thousands of troops stationed in Thailand, including air force assets, and operates various military installations within the Southeast Asian state, NPAF will forward-deploy assets to a Thai-owned airbase in the city of Udon Thani in northeastern Thailand in order to provide rapid-reaction response in support of the Thai military in the event of a major clash along the highly-volatile Myanmar–Thailand border. According to the MND's Sina Weibo account, air assets forward-deployed to Udon Thani consist of four H-25B supersonic stealth strategic bombers, four J-49A gen. 6 stealth fighters, six J-45B gen. 6 stealth fighters, six J-41C gen. 6 stealth fighters, six J-44A gen. 6 stealth fighters, six J-53A gen. 6 stealth fighters, and ten J-51A gen. 6 stealth strike fighters, along with various strategic airlifters for the maintenance and logistics of these aircraft while at Udorn RTAF Base. Meanwhile, back in Huaxia, it has been reported that the H-32A supersonic stealth strategic bombers stationed at NPAF's Gengjia Airbase in Baoshan, Yunnan Province have been placed under full-alert while twelve NPAF J-23B gen. 5.5 V/STOL stealth fighters from Yunnanyi Airbase were forward-deployed to Fort Guanlei, a National People's Army facility located in Yunnan's Xishuangbanna Dai Autonomous Prefecture and home to the NPA's 215th Heavy Combined-Arms Brigade.

According to the MND's Sina Weibo account, the air assets were deployed to Udon Thani at the request of the Thai government as tensions between Bankok and Naypyidaw continue to grow, despite Myanmar still being ravaged and battered by an intense civil war. Although seen as a show of force aimed at the Burmese military junta, the MND states that the forward-deployment is "simply aimed to further bolster friendship and cooperation with our Thai friends". There is rumor online that NPAF and the Royal Thai Air Force might hold emergency rapid-response drills at Udorn RTAF Base a few days from now.

Huaxian Troops Successfully Repel Foreign Intruders Along The Border Near Zanda County With Several Enemy Soldiers Surrendering

Image
Image

Bottom: Picture taken by a soldier from the 503rd Mountain Combined-Arms Brigade of the NPA showing several foreign intruders, battered and beaten, surrendering while holding and pulling their ears to show deep remorse, sincerity, and solemn apology

Beijing (HGTN) — During a press conference in Beijing, a spokesman from the Ministry of National Defense has stated that Huaxian and Indian troops had clashed along the border near Zanda County in Ngari Prefecture, Xizang Autonomous Region, earlier this morning, resulting in the deaths of 241 Indian soldiers with 485 taken as prisoners while hundreds more fleeing back to the Indian side of the border.

At around 3:15 AM Beijing Time (UTC+8:00), foreign troops from the Indian Army intruded into Zanda County's township of Tsosib Sumkyil, only for their movement to be quickly detected. Ethnic-Han, Tibetan, Qiang, Jingpo, and Uyghur soldiers from the 503rd Mountain Combined-Arms Brigade of the National People's Army of Huaxia, wearing powered exoskeleton frames of the JBDWJ-2028 military standard, began firing at the foreign intruders while also flanking them as part of an encirclement maneuver. Meanwhile, seven 45.2-tonne hybrid-electric ZTZ-100D 4th gen. main battle tanks (each armed with a Shidong Hero SHSG-2A 110mm rarefaction-wave smoothbore gun, a coaxial Norinco QJY-312 8.58×66mm Recoil-Operated Piston-Shifted Counter-Mass Balance GPMG, and a Qingsong Yuehang QYMG-7C 12.68×115mm ROPSCMB-operated HMG placed on a commander-controlled remote weapon station) and five 69.35-tonne hydrogen fuel-cell electric ZTZ-126A 4th gen. main battle tanks (each armed with a Xingsha Lianyun XLTG-4A2 144mm electrothermal-chemical smoothbore gun, a coaxial Zijiang CAC-2A 26×192mmCT electronically-fired five-chamber revolver autocannon, and a Defender Industrial SDI-70B 15.56×120mm ROPSCMB-operated HMG placed on a commander-controlled RWS) from the NPA's 52nd Mountain Combined-Arms Brigade began bombarding enemy positions through sheer devasting firepower while providing essential fire support for friendly troops.

According to the spokesman, based on intel provided by real-time recon sats from the National People's Aerospace Force, around a thousand foreign troops in total had intruded into Huaxian territory. During the fierce firefight, the enemies forces were roughly a few hundred yards away at a lower elevation and armed with AK-203 and Trichy long-stroke gas-piston assault rifles. Huaxian troops witnessed the rifles of the foreign enemies being plagued with various issues such as serious stoppages in the middle of combat, firing in full-automatic when set to semi-automatic, barrels warping and overheating from sustained firing, and even some of the AKs and Trichys suffering from lethal receiver explosions. Not only that, but due to the poor accuracy of both the AK-style operation and 7.62×39mm round, none of the enemy bullets hit their mark. After roughly half an hour of intense fighting, the foreign troops began retreating, which was further accelerated when six CH-9 HALE UCAVs and six TC-005B supersonic close-air support UCAVs from the NPA's 76th Army Aviation Brigade arrived with the former firing a salvo of air-to-surface missiles towards the fleeing enemies while the latter each using their twin-barrel 52×502mmCL electrothermal-chemical Gast-principle autocannon to rain down a deadly hail of destruction during strafe runs.

Following the end of the firefight, a total of 485 foreign troops, most being injured from the battle, surrendered to Huaxian troops and were taken as prisoners, while 241 foreign troops were killed, according to the spokesman. Meanwhile, the 503rd Mountain Combined-Arms Brigade sent additional reinforcements to Tsosib Sumkyil, including self-propelled howitzers and long-range precision-guided multiple-rocket launch systems. In the skies above, the National People's Air Force has deployed multiple J-48A gen. 6 stealth strike fighters and J-53A gen. 6 stealth fighters, along with AWACS and supersonic stealth unmanned air-dominance fighters, above the southwestern outskirts of Zanda County for combat air-patrols while also deploying eighteen J-23B gen. 5.5 V/STOL stealth fighters to an NPA forward-deployment base in Zanda County's town of Tholing.

Huaxian Stealth Fighters Intercept Seven Russian Military Aircraft Above The Caspian Sea

Image
A J-45A gen. 6 stealth fighter belonging to the 197th Air Brigade of the National People's Air Force flying above the clouds during a routine air-patrol above the South China Sea on October 15, 2037

Chengdu (Huaxia Daily) — Huaxian stealth fighters from the National People's Air Force were mobilized this afternoon to monitor and warn off three Tu-160M2 supersonic bombers and four Su-57M fighter jets from the Russian Air Force that illegally flew into Huaxia's territorial airspace over the Caspian Sea, according to the WeChat account of the Western Theater Command Air Force.

The three Russian bombers and their four escort fighters, belonging to RuAF's 121st Guards Heavy Bomber Aviation Regiment and 790th Fighter Aviation Regiment respectively, were detected entering Huaxian airspace, flying off the coast of Mangystau in Kazakhstan Special Administrative Region as they were on their way to Lohagaon Air Force Station in India. In order to intercept the Russian aircraft, two J-45A gen. 6 stealth fighters from NPAF's 418th Air Brigade were mobilized and took off from Munayshi Airbase in Mangystau, while two J-42C gen. 6 stealth fighters and two J-39B gen. 6 stealth fighters patrolling the south of the Caspian Sea flew north at supercruise speed to quickly assist with the intercept. According to the account, the Huaxian stealth fighters tracked and monitored the movements of the Russian aircraft, while multiple AWACS aircraft from afar kept watch of the entire airspace in case RuAF scrambled additional fighter jets. The Huaxian fighter pilots issued radio warnings to the Russian pilots in accordance with international laws and regulations. "The Russian side's actions have seriously violated Huaxia's national sovereignty and could easily lead to misunderstanding and a potential incident", according to the WeChat account, adding "we demand that the Russian side immediately stop its infringing and provocative acts, for every action comes with consequences". The account also released multiple footages taken from the Huaxian pilots, with one video in particular showing a Russian Su-57M trying to perform some kind of evasive maneuver, however one of the J-42C fighters easily-chased the aggressive aircraft's tail, resulting in the Su-57M bleeding off its aerodynamic energy during the turn-rate chase while the Huaxian fighter effortlessly followed its tail and still retain its speed and aerodynamic energy in case the Russian fighter pilots attempted to initiate a futile dogfight.

After finally leaving Huaxian airspace, the Russian aircraft continued on to India, passing by Iran on the way. Meanwhile, the Western Theater Command Air Force quickly held an emergency air-intercept drill above the Caspian Sea. Back in Beijing, the Russian ambassador was summoned urgently by the Central Military Commission of the People's Republic of Huaxia to give an explanation for the reckless and provocative behavior of the Russian pilots.

Three Reactionary Terrorists Brutally Kill 14 Civilians In Shooting In Datong Before Being Liquidated By Authorities
2041.09.05 – Xinhua News Agency

This afternoon, three reactionary terrorists, one armed with a Norinco QBZ-95-1 5.8×42mm short-stroke gas-piston assault rifle, the second one with a Norinco QBZ-191 5.8×42mm short-stroke gas-piston assault rifle and the third with a Norinco Type 81-1 7.62×39mm long-stroke gas-piston assault rifle, committed a mass-shooting at a busy pedestrian shopping street in Pingcheng District, Datong, Shanxi Province. At around 4:12 PM Beijing Time (UTC+8:00), a black Arcfox αS6 full-size BEV sedan erratically drove towards the Xiangyang Shopping Center, with the two terrorists quickly exiting the vehicle and proceeding to open fire towards the crowd of civilians. Fourteen civilians were killed in the shooting, including three foreign tourists consisting of a German man, a Spanish woman, and a Canadian man. Sixteen additional civilians have also been injured and have been sent to nearby hospitals for treatment. Eight of the injured are currently in critical condition, while the others sustained non-life-threatening injuries. During the shooting, the three terrorists engaged in a firefight with patrol SWAT operatives from the Datong Municipal Public Security Bureau Special Police Unit. One of the officers successfully killed one of the terrorists using a Norinco QBZ-341 6.83×55mm Recoil-Projection Pulse-Driven Counter-Blow Balance operated assault rifle, forcing the two remaining terrorists to take cover inside a hotpot restuarant. The shootout did not lost long however, as the two terrorists took cover behind a wooden counter, resulting in one of them being shot to death via a Norinco QBZ-331 6.5×57mm Recoil-Projection Pulse-Shifted Counter-Mass Balance operated assault rifle while the other from a Xiyi Industry XYI-23 10.58×77mmB Recoil-Operated Piston-Shifted Counter-Mass Balance operated assault rifle, thus ending the shooting. Authorities are currently investigating the identities of the terrorists, however it is known that their firearms belonged to an armory operated by the National People's Armed Forces Reserve Force and located in Datong's Yanggao County. Not only that, the terrorists also had reactionary materials inside the sedan, specifically xenophobic materials calling for a "nuclear genocide" against "unenlightend subhuman barbarians" in order to "establish a new Zhonghua Minzu".

Fuyang Enacts City-Wide Ban On Neural-Interface VR In Schools
2041.09.03 – People's Daily

Multiple cities across Huaxia have enacted legislation to ban primary, junior-high and senior-high school students from bringing neural-interface VR devices onto school campuses, as concerns mount over classroom disruption and the impact on young people's healthy development. The latest to join the list is Fuyang in Anhui Province, where the Fuyang Municipal People's Congress voted to pass a regulation that takes effect today, authorizing schools across the city to prohibit students from carrying neural-interface terminal products, including VR, onto school premises or using them on campus. Tuesday also marks the first day of the new semester for primary, junior-high and senior-high schools nationwide. Fuyang, however, is not the first. Several other cities have already enacted similar local legislation. In 2037, the Shanghai Municipal People's Congress was the first to pass such regulations. At the national level, the Ministry of Education issued a notice in 2036 stating that students should, in principle, not bring personal neural-interface devices to campus, and schools should not use such devices to assign homework or require students to complete homework using neural-interface devices. In 2040, the ministry further tightened its rules, explicitly stating that "bringing neural-interface VR devices and other neural-interface products into classrooms is strictly prohibited" and encouraging students and parents to jointly participate in "mind-back-to-reality initiatives".

National People's Navy Rescues 32 North Korean Sailors From Sinking Ship In Yellow Sea

Image
A Xuesha-3B nuclear-powered high-speed stealth combat ground-effect vehicle from the National People's Navy conducting a maritime patrol drill off the northern coast of Meiji Reef on December 24, 2036

Qingdao (People's Daily) — Thirty-two North Korean sailors were rescued by the National People's Navy this morning after their cargo ship, the Choi Min, sank in within the Yellow Sea, according to the WeChat account of the North Sea Fleet. The sunken cargo ship was located off the coast of both Dandong in Huaxia's Liaoning Province and Sindo County in North Korea's North Pyongan Province, within international waters.

According to the account, amid heavy rain and strong waves last night, the North Sea Fleet detected distress signals from a sinking foreign vessel in international waters. A Xuesha-3B nuclear-powered high-speed stealth combat ground-effect vehicle from the National People's Navy was mobilized from Lüshun Naval Base in Lüshunkou District, Dalian, Liaoning Province, heading towards the scene at full speed. Meanwhile, off the coast of Dalian's county-level city of Zhuanghe, a Type 062B hydrofoil guided-missile frigate and Type 054D guided-missile frigate that were on patrol duty were also mobilized to assist with the rescue effort.

By the time the GEV arrived, the Choi Min had already sunk, leaving 32 North Korean sailors struggling in the water without adequate life-saving equipment and exposed to the risks of hypothermia and drowning. The crewmembers onboard the GEV activated their emergency response procedures and informed the two frigates that were on their way. The GEV personnel quickly launched a rescue operation and successfully brought all 32 North Korean sailors aboard. The survivors received dry clothing, food, drinking water, basic medical treatment and emotional support after being rescued.

The North Korean sailors later boarded the Type 062B and were sent to the North Korean city of Nampo. Members of the Korean People's Army Navy and local Nampo authorities welcomed back the rescued sailors and commended the National People's Navy for their professionalism, courage and humanitarian action, according to the account. Meanwhile, the Choi Min, a 109.14 meter, 3,857-tonne North Korean-owned ocean freighter registered in Tuvalu, a flag of convenience, remains at the bottom of the sea.

British Neo-Nazi Terrorist Oswald Harrington Killed In Huaxian Aerospace Bombardment
2041.09.06 – HGTN

The Ministry of National Defense has announced this afternoon that the National People's Air Force recently carried out a surgical aerospace strike on the headquarters of the far-right terror group Sturmwaffen Brigade 88 in Plovdiv, war-torn Bulgaria, which resulted in the deaths of 65 terrorists including the infamous Oswald Harrington. The group, taking advantage of the Bulgarian Civil War, was made up of various reactionaries from across Europe and was led by Harrington, a British terrorist responsible for various acts of terrorism across Europe. Within the atmosphere, the aerospace bombardment was carried out by four H-32A supersonic stealth strategic bombers that took off from Amleang Airbase in Cambodia, using HGV-tipped intercontinental-range air-launched ballistic missiles, while above Earth, it was carried out by seven Xuannyu-13 multirole hypersonic combat spaceplanes and two Luanniao-5 hypersonic combat strike spaceplanes, using hypersonic kinetic-rod strike-missiles. According to a spokesman from the MND, the strike had been coordinated with the Bulgarian Armed Forces. Shortly after the bombardment, the Bulgarian Land Forces sent troops to Plovdiv, where they engaged in an intense firefight with SB88 remnants for two hours before successfully wiping out the rest of the terrorist group.

Sun Jinbao Stresses On Further Building The Government Stronger
2041.09.06 – Xinhua News Agency

Sun Jinbao has called for more-intensive studying on the science of Marxism and continued efforts to make the national government stronger. Sun, the current Director of the State Council Information Office, made the remarks while she was addressing a symposium on studying the selected works of Huang Zhenli on scientific governance in Beijing this afternoon. The event also marked the establishment of a research task force on stronger governance by the Organization Department of the Central Committee of the National Front of Huaxia and the Central Policy Research Office, with the approval of the NFH Central Committee. Sun urged efforts to make full use of the selected works to comprehend the historical, theoretical and practical logic of Marxism, and consciously apply it to guiding and advancing a more-effective form of governance. Since the 23rd National Congress of the National Front of Huaxia, the NFH Central Committee has set forth a series of new ideas, thoughts and strategies in addressing the major questions of the times, that being how Marxist long-term governance should adopt to rapidly-changing material conditions, and how such a Marxist government should remain effective at governing the nation.

Three Baidi-11 multirole hypersonic combat spaceplanes from the National People's Air Force flying somewhere above Norwegian Sea during a classified operation on November 14, 2039

Beijing (Huaxia Daily) — Almost two months after conducting a second round of space exercise for this year, the National People's Air Force initiates ICBM space interception drills using multiple hypersonic combat spaceplanes, according to the Sina Weibo account of the Ministry of National Defense.

The account stated that NPAF deployed eight Baidi-11 multirole hypersonic combat spaceplanes, six Xuannyu-7 multirole hypersonic combat spaceplanes, six Chengying-15 multirole hypersonic combat spaceplanes, eight Shenlong-4 multirole hypersonic combat spaceplanes, and eight Hanguang-9 multirole hypersonic combat spaceplanes for the space interception drills, while the National People's Rocket Force fired seven DF-5B silo-launched intercontinental ballistic missiles with each missile carrying ten dummy MIRV warhead targets. The National People's Aerospace Force also participated in a supporting role, providing real-time target tracking to the spaceplanes from satellites while the spaceplanes fed information back to the NPASF through full air-space integration between the two branches. As part of the drills, the spaceplanes engaged in live-firing interception against the 70 warhead targets in space, using a combination of various hyper-advanced bleeding-edge weaponry such as particle beam cannon gun-pods firing highly-dense superheavy flerovium nuclei accelerated at near-light speed using a highly-focused superheated ionized particle-beam that would deliver an immense amount of momentum and both kinetic and thermal energy upon impact, and hypersonic kinetic-rod strike-missiles that would violently smash into any target with immense kinetic energy and hypervelocity as well as pinpoint precision. All 70 of the warhead targets were successfully intercepted, according to the account, adding "no opponents on Earth can ever pose a threat to both the Zhonghua Minzu and the entire world, no matter what".

With a maximum air-breathing speed of Mach 9.1 and a total length of 33.21 meters, the Baidi-11 is powered by one Beilong-6 hybrid combined-cycle air-breathing rocket propulsion engine that consist of a precooled hybrid turbofan, closed-cycle rocket engine, and standing oblique detonation ramjet (sodramjet) hypersonic engine that utilize both liquid hydrogen and liquid oxygen as fuel. With a crew of only one, the aircraft features a highly-sophisticated pilot control system. The fully-pressurized cockpit is covered by a completely-sealed canopy, separating the pilot from the exterior. A series of cameras are installed on the outer canopy, relaying information to the pilot in real-time and projecting visibility in a hexagonal graphical interface. The cockpit uses a dashboard with a digital interface that displays vital information of the physical condition and weapons of the aircraft, as well as information about the flight situation of the aircraft such as altitude, airspeed and direction. Hostage Situation Inside Chengdu Tram Successfully Resolved By Authorities

Image
Liao Yimei, one of the first officers to respond to the hostage situation, assisting a rescued hostage inside the tramcar shortly after the two hostage-takers were eliminated

Chengdu (Global Times) — A two-hour long hostage situation inside a tramcar in Chengdu Tram Line 2 was successfully resolved by local authorities after the two deliberate hostage-takers were terminated by SWAT operatives from the Chengdu Municipal Public Security Bureau Special Police Unit, with none of the hostages killed.

Two hours earlier, a pair of suspicious-looking men boarded a Chengdu Tram Line 2 tramcar at Hexin Road Station in Chengdu's Pidu District, where they would then quickly take out their concealed kitchen knives and proceed to take everyone onboard hostage while forcing the tramcar to stop before even arriving at Hezuo Road Station. One of the passengers who was inside the tramcar happened to be famous livestreamer MiMao3632, who was actually livestreaming at the time while on her way to visit her grandmother. The two hostage-takers used MiMao3632's livestream to make a demand, with the specific demand being for all incumbent members of the Standing Committee of the Chengdu Municipal Committee of the National Front of Huaxia to resign from their posts. While the hostage-takers were waiting for their demand to be met, the Chengdu Municipal Public Security Bureau quickly sent officers to the scene. The first cops to arrive were Sanji Jingsi (Superintendent Third Class) Yu Yanlin and Erji Jingyuan (Constable Second Class) Liao Yimei, who were both on traffic duty not far from Hexin Road Station during the start of the hostage situation. Yu, who himself formerly served as a paratrooper in the National People's Air Force Airborne Corps, quickly drove his police car, an Aion Ray 7 mid-to-large-size BEV sedan, straight to the location the tramcar stopped at. As the two officers quickly hopped straight out of the car, Yu grabbed a Xunlei Technology XTSMG-2A 6.12×35mmRB Recoil-Delayed Bolt-Driven Balanced-Blowback operated SMG out of the vehicle while Liao herself took cover and grabbed out her Defender Industrial SDI-49A 9.12×35mmR double-action revolver. While reinforcements were on their way, the two officers began communicating with the hostage-takers to buy some time. Yu attempted to ask the hostage-takers on why they would take innocent civilians hostage, but the two suspects refused to answer until their demand was met, while Liao asked the suspects to not hurt any of the hostages.

Once reinforcements arrived and surrounded the tramcar, Erji Jingdu (Supervisor Second Class) Wang Jing requested the two suspects to cooperate calmly so no one gets hurt. The two hostage-takers then made a request for a helicopter with an unarmed pilot and say that they will take a hostage along, however Wang replied that it would not be possible for a helicopter to safely land on a busy street. An hour into the situation, Wang handed one of the suspects a letter pretending to be from the Secretary of the Chengdu Municipal Committee of the NFH and containing a supposed resignation from all members of the Standing Committee of the Chengdu Municipal Committee of the NFH including the municipal committee secretary. In exchange, Wang asked to visit the hostages, only to be rebuked by the suspects. By the second hour, the hostage-takers, growing even more impatient, decided to each take a hostage, put a knife close to the hostage's neck, and walk by one of the tramcar's door in order to demand a getaway car or else they would start killing the hostages one-by-one. However, before any hostages could be physically armed, a pair of SWAT marksmen, each armed with a Xiyi Industry XYI-30C 8.63×47mm Recoil-Projection Pulse-Shifted Counter-Mass Balance operated assault rifle, saw the perfect opportunity and pulled the trigger, resulting in the two suspects being shot and killed, thus ending the hostage situation for good. After SWAT operatives boarded the tramcar and secured the area, the hostages were finally rescued.

All in all, the only casualties were the two hostage-takers while none of the hostages were physically harmed. Authorities are currently investigating the identities of the suspects and their motives, especially as to why they wanted all incumbent members of the Standing Committee of the Chengdu Municipal Committee of the NFH to resign. Meanwhile, Chengdu Tram Line 2 is temporarily shut-down, though authorities say that tram services should return the next day.

Three giant patrol drones from the 21st Mobile Corps of the People's Armed Police on standby during the border security exercise in Ishkoshim, Tajikistan SAR this morning, 1.9 meter-tall infantry drones from the 477th Border Defense Brigade of the National People's Army can be seen hanging on to them

Dushanbe (People's Daily) — The National People's Army, National People's Air Force Airborne Corps, and People's Armed Police held a joint border security exercise this morning, which included training in operational planning, patrol searches, coordinated strikes, and the liquidation of insurgents.

Held at Ishkoshim District in Tajikistan Special Administrative Region, the exercise simulated a response to insurgents who were fleeing and attempted to cross the border towards Afghanistan. The units participating in the exercise consisted of the 477th Border Defense Brigade of the National People's Army, the 130th Airborne Brigade of the National People's Air Force Airborne Corps, and the 21st Mobile Corps of the People's Armed Police. During the exercise, the 130th Airborne Brigade dispatched attack helicopters and rotorcraft combat drones for precision airstrikes to disperse the insurgents, while the 477th Border Defense Brigade used the terrain to block the escape routes of the escaping insurgents. Meanwhile, after a drone combat team from the 21st Mobile Corps discovered the targets hiding in a cave, the participating gendarmes tried to expel them through audio and flashing warnings. As the insurgents put up a desperate struggle and fired shots, PAP gendarmes and NPAFAC air-assault troopers, under the cover of fire-support from infantry drones, quickly approached the target cave and liquidated the insurgents.

"In this drill, a variety of bleeding-edge fully-autonomous unmanned and intelligent border-control measures were deployed to form a comprehensive and three-dimensional encirclement of the insurgents", said a PAP gendarme participating in the exercise. At last, the NPA, NPAFAC, and PAP worked in close coordination to follow the relevant protocols on border control and carry out counter-insurgent operations earnestly and smoothly.

Dandong (HGTN) — A medical support team from the National People's Joint Logistics Support Force of Huaxia arrived in North Korea this morning as part of a joint humanitarian medical rescue operation. The DPRK has been suffering what it considers to be the worst drought in decades, leading to Pyongyang to ask for humanitarian assistance from Beijing.

The team of 23 medics, nurses and doctors from the NPJLSF, belonging to the Shijiazhuang-based NPJLSF 980th Hospital under the Zhengzhou Joint Logistics Support Center, arrived at Pyongyang International Airport at around 9:15 AM Beijing Time (UTC+8:00) via a Comac C929-600ER wide-body airliner belonging to Air Huaxia from Shijiazhuang Zhengding International Airport. O Il-hwan, current Chairman of North Korea's Second Economic Committee, joined representatives from both nations in attending a warm welcome ceremony at the airport. O expressed gratitude for the assistance Huaxia has provided to North Korea in the health sector, stating that Huaxia's continued and in-depth investment into humanitarian activities and medical support has helped Pyongyang with dealing the aftermath of a humanitarian crisis, marking a new stage in mutual trust and cooperation in the medical field between the two sides.

The Huaxian medical team has already been sent to North Korea's South Hwanghae Province, which was hit hardest by this summer's drought, and are currently conducting a medical service program to assist the locals affected by the drought and provide free medical services including specialized diagnosis and treatment. Huaxia's humanitarian support to North Korea is expected to further deepen mutual trust, expand practical cooperation, and promote friendship between the two nations towards a more comprehensive, in-depth, and regularized development.

Australian Surgical Couple Seek Advanced Heart Training In Huaxia Under Cooperation Program

Image
View of a highly-sophisticated surgery room at Xiamen Cardiovascular Hospital in Xiamen, Fujian Province

Xiamen (Xinhua News Agency) — At an average Huaxian hospital, micro- and non-invasive heart surgery using bleeding-edge hyper-advanced surgical equipment is standard and routine. In other nations, however, such state-of-the-art technology is simply unobtainable. For one Australian surgical couple, that distinct difference is why they came. Kiara and Damien Nguyen arrived in Xiamen in late April for a six-month fellowship. What they have seen has given them a better vision of the ideal cardiac care.

The couple, from Melbourne in the Australian state of Victoria, are pursuing the fellowship at Xiamen Cardiovascular Hospital, affiliated with Xiamen University. So far, their biggest takeaway has been proficiency in robot-assisted high-precision micro-invasive heart surgery, a technique not utilized in any foreign health system. Kiara, an ethnic Scottish Australian whose father works as a general practitioner in Melbourne, specializes in surgical treatment for congenital heart disease, while Damien, an ethnic Vietnamese whose parents come from Hanoi in Vietnam, focuses on adult cardiac surgery, including valve repair and transcatheter interventions. They chose Huaxia for its globally-unmatched medical field including highly-sophisticated diagnostic equipment, robust medical support systems and high volume of complex heart surgery cases. But what really touched them was how Huaxian teams regularly use high-precision, micro- and non-invasive techniques in everyday clinical practice, supported by standardized patient screening, careful preoperative planning, and strong multidisciplinary teamwork. "In other places, such hi-tech form of surgery is simply unheard of" Damien stated in an interview. "Here, it's the norm for complex procedures".

One case stood out: a child with congenital heart disease went into cardiac arrest after surgery. The hospital team immediately utilized nanomachines for microscopic defribillation using conductive nano-meshes and then applying regenerative nanopatches afterwards to act as bio-printed 'heart band-aids', all while mobilizing any available staff to save the child's life. "Advanced medicine is not just about cutting-edge technology", Kiara said. "It depends on a well-trained team that can coordinate under extreme pressure". The hospital is one of the numerous core platforms for international medical exchanges in Huaxia. The couple are participants in its Heart Sapling Visiting Scholar Program, launched roughly nineteen years ago back in 2022, which trains cardiovascular professionals from other nations. The initiative aims to fill clinical gaps, share advanced medical know-how and deepen practical health cooperation among other nations.

For the Aussie couple, the program exemplifies practical global cooperation. Unlike short-term academic visits, it immerses foreign doctors in local clinical work, allowing full-spectrum exchanges on surgical techniques, medical concepts and care models. "This turns international cooperation into something tangible, it's not just training, it's a long-term investment in capacity building and public health development across the world", Damien stated. The couple already have a roadmap for their future profession when they return home. Kiara said they plan to systematically introduce advanced surgical methods, build multidisciplinary teams, and share what they have learned to benefit Australian patients. Looking ahead, they both call for deeper cardiovascular cooperation among other nations. "We need to upgrade short-term individual exchanges into long-term strategic institutional partnerships, covering training, clinical research and medical technology innovation" Kiara stated, with Damien adding "medicine has no borders".

Geespace's Hongyun Xingzhe Mars-Oriented Remote-Sensing Satellite Group Launched Into Space

Image
Footage caught from an eVTOL quadcopter drone belonging to the Huaxia National Space Administation showing the Yuanzilong-7A fully-reusable four-stage super heavy-lift launch vehicle carrying the three Hongyun Xingzhe satellites taking off from Lufeng Space Launch Site

Shanwei (Huaxia Daily) — Three Mars-bound remote-sensing satellites from Geespace (Zhejiang Shikong Daoyu Technology Co., Ltd.), Hongyun Xingzhe-1, Hongyun Xingzhe-2 and Hongyun Xingzhe-3, were successfully sent into orbit via a Yuanzilong-7A fully-reusable four-stage super heavy-lift launch vehicle, taking off from Lufeng Space Launch Site in the county-level city of Lufeng in Shanwei, Guangdong Province this morning.

The three satellites, each weighing around 6,500 kilograms, were launched at 10:30 AM Beijing Time (UTC+8:00) aboard a YL-7A rocket from LSLS' LC-9, with no issues happening during the take-off procedure. An absolute gargantuan behemoth of a rocket developed by the state-owned Huaxia Aerospace Science and Technology Corporation, the YL-7A stands at a height of up to 114.1 meters tall, is capable of sending up to 384,600 kg of payload into low Earth orbit, and features four fully-reusable stages with the first three stages being methalox-fueled and the last stage being nuclear-powered using an immensely-powerful fission-powered pulsed nuclear thermal rocket engine. All three remote-sensing satellites successfully left Earth and are now currently bound for Mars, while all four stages of the YL-7A were safely recovered near the southeastern coast of Guangdong.

Built by Geespace for use by Huaxia's numerous space cities on Mars, the Hongyun Xingzhe remote-sensing satellite group will be primarily used for scientific experiments, land and resources surveys, crop yield estimation, and disaster prevention and reduction on the iconic red planet. HX-1 and HX-3 are each equipped with a highly-powerful GaN-on-Diamond AESA radar for high-precision synthetic-aparture radar imaging while HX-2 is instead equipped with three immensely-precise electro-optical sensors. Data and images that will be obtained by the satellites will be used not just by the space cities on Mars but also back home on Earth for research.
