Bloom Festival [VOTING CLOSED]

Postby Republic of Jaliserra » Tue Aug 18, 2026 4:20 am

After barely qualifying for the Grand Final in the previous edition, the Jaliserran Organisation of Broadcasting (JOB) has decided to resume the Bloom Festival, not just in the hopes that Jaliserra can achieve a higher result at WorldVision 129, but also to share Jaliserran music with the multiverse.

Announcer: Please welcome your hosts, Kevin Miyaki and Sky Sionko!

Kevin and Sky walk up on the stage.

Kevin: Bona tarda, salai galam and good evening to everyone in Jaliserra and beyond! Welcome to the second edition of the Bloom Festival! I am Kevin Miyaki.

Sky: And I am Sky Sionko.

Audience cheers.

Kevin: Now, everyone in the multiverse can vote. It doesn't matter if you're watching here from the Stadiu Agyao or beyond Jaliserra, you can still vote!

Sky: All you have to telegram Jaliserra your votes. Here's here the ranking works. You give your favourite song 12 points, then your second favourite 9, your third favourite 6, then the next 4, 2 and your least favourite gets 1 point. Only one of each number can be given out by one individual. After voting closes, the points will be counted, and a winner will be announced. They don't just win the Bloom Festival. They get the chance to represent Jaliserra at the 129th WorldVision Song Contest.

Kevin: That's right. In case of a tiebreak, the entry with the most 12 points received out of the tied entries will win. If that also results in a tie, the entry with the most 10 points received will win.

Sky: Alright. Are you ready, Agyao?

The audience gives loud 'Yeahs'.

Kevin: Alright. Without further ado...

Kevin & Sky: Let the second Bloom Festival BEGIN!

Voting closes: Tuesday, September 1st, 2026 (12:00 AM, UTC+08:00)
Results up by: Friday, September 4th, 2026 (8:30 PM UTC+08:00)

CURRENT STAGE: Voting is closed.

OOC: Dates may be changed depending on the amount of votes or school, but is probably unlikely.

Tylastrona has confirmed its withdrawal from WSC 129. The Tylastronian National Broadcaster, the Committee of Tylastronian Musicians and Composers, and the Ministry of Apollo stated that: "despite having made two interesting contributions to the worldwide musical landscape, Tylastrona's uniqueness lies in the experience of being a Tylastronian musician within a Tylastronian context. This cannot be understood by a foreign jury panel or grasped by a mind shaped outside of Tylastronian culture. Our music is a direct gift to Euterpe."

Nationally, this announcement did not cause any scandal. According to media statistics, only 11.8% of Tylastronians watched the final of the 127th WSC, compared to 14.5% for the 128th.

Gunas Timur to return with "Tricolour"

A full 33 edition since she took fourth place in Valletta, HARESHET have announced the return of "Ertzei Kishim's Madonna", Gunas Timur, to the WorldVision stage. In what is deemed quite the coup for HARESHET, Gunas will sing the ethno-pop song "Tricolour", which samples traditional Kishraeli instrumentation blended with a pulsing beat and powerful lyrics. Timur, now in her 50s, is still a regular performer in the regional circuit, with fans across the Middle East. Her debut at WorldVision saw her gain 188 points in a crowded field. HARESHET will be hopeful she can improve on that performance, after Larsa Rayyes secured a stunning podium for Ertzei Kishim, the first podium in nearly 12 editions.

Cut me, I bleed tricolour
No other love burns hotter
Than every shade that's beating in my heart -hot-hot

KVÍRLAND SHINES - WORLDVISION 129

Postby Kvirland » Tue Aug 18, 2026 3:42 pm

Image

"KVÍRLAND SHINES" is going to take place once again in Nív Kírchen aftwr a significant result of last year's winner and also TOP 10 WV 128 contestant, Slaya Dramayeva. Even though KVÍRLAND TV discussed, whether another edition of KVÍRLANDSHINES would take palce, eventually it was decided that the selection has shown it's potential to bring success on WV's stage. There are only a few small changes to the rules, but the system works the same as last edition. Anyone whi's somehow related to Kvírland and has at least one Kvírlandish resident in the team is eligible to participate.[/b]:

To take part in KVÍRALND SHINES is really simple. You just need to do the following things:

1. Send and artist (write their name)

2. Send a tune
You send a song of the artist, you can let them have it as their entry for Kvírland but if there'll be stronger tune it can also be used instead of the tuni in KVÍRLAND SHINES.

3. Write some information about the artist and their relation to Kvírland. If they're not resident please meantion someone from the team who is.

Hopefully we can still have such a great party as we had last edition. You can send your tunes, artist i fo etc... until Tuesday 25th August to DISCORD or TELEGRAM. Are you ready to be part of this epic journey?
LET KVÍRLAND SHINE!

BC-FEST94: A Success Despite Controversies

by Park Cheolsu

The 94th Burikinian Cultural Festival, more commonly known as BC-FEST94, has ended. Held in the sunny coastal city of Mersebourg, this edition has 7 entrants, one less than the previous edition. Unlike the two previous editions, this edition is notable for being the only Worldvision-entering edition where the votes are restricted to Burikinians. According to Enrico Graziani, CEO of BBA, this move is done to "Display music that truly represents what Burikinia listens to and what Burikinians want, which in turn shows our unbending and independent musical sovereignty". However, BBA is regarding this choice as experimental, with an option to return to the previous format in case the new format fails. This has been a controversial topic, splitting readers into different viewpoints. On one hand, this move practically ensures that Burikinia's entrant truly represents what the Burikinian listeners are currently into, but on the other hand, this move has been viewed as "a weak, foolish, and nonsensical way to promote Burikinian nationalism", as it is being viewed only as a way to better Burikinian pride instead of trying to win WorldVision.

Controversies aside, the event was still a resounding success. From start to end, the audience and supporters show no sign of dying down. The first contestant, YUCCHI belts out “Scribbles”, a hit on the young adults who just reached 20, to great cheers and support. Eliza Frei, with her powerful voice, performed “Stay With Me”, a powerful ballad that moves everyone who listens to it. Another standout performer was Aria Dewanto, notable for being the only performer who does not sing in English in the WorldVision era. All in all, no contestants brought down the general mood.
And yet, the winner could be one, and our congratulations go to:
LYL, with her song "MYWORLD"!

MPM Television will announce it's participation at the 129th WorldVision Song Contest.

For this edition, the artist will be selected internally. The intended process for FCdC 06 will be delayed for WV130 to ensure a proper and successful return to the public selection.

FULL STATEMENT
Maeil Heobo Tellebijeongwa Two (MHT-2) has officially announced that Axuva will indefinitely withdraw from the Worldvision Song Contest following the upcoming 129th edition and its 35th anniversary

After extensive internal discussions, investigations and broader reviews of Axuva’s participation, alongside growing concerns from MHT-2 regarding the overall integrity of the Worldvision Song Contest, MHT-2 has determined that continuing to participate in Worldvision under the current circumstances is no longer a sustainable investment for the broadcaster.

For multiple editions, Axuva has remained within what MHT 2 describes as a repeated and increasingly familiar range of results, despite the considerable efforts of Axuvian artists, songwriters, producers, and creative teams. The broadcaster has repeatedly attempted different approaches, from sending established names and emerging artists to adapting entries to conforming to musical trends, yet the overall results have remained largely unchanged.
MHT 2 originally hoped to change the direction of Axuva’s participation after receiving the Worldvision rights from TPNB-X. Before MHT 2, Axuva’s Worldvision participation had also been handled by WEN, meaning three different Axuvian broadcasters have now carried the country’s participation through different eras: TPNB-X, WEN, and MHT 2.
After years of attempting different approaches, MHT 2 has ultimately decided that the journey ends here after conducting its internal review.

MHT 2 acknowledges that results are ultimately determined through competition and that disappointment is an inherent part of participating. However, the repeated pattern has reached a point where the broadcaster can no longer justify the financial, creative, and organizational investment required to continue.
The broadcaster has also expressed concerns regarding perceived inconsistencies and suspected unfairness within the competition environment. As part of its internal review, MHT 2 conducted a limited internal investigation into Axuva’s repeated results and other nations results within various past editions. While the broadcaster stresses that this investigation did not produce definitive proof of deliberate manipulation, it did identify patterns that MHT 2 believes warrant greater attention from the Worldvision Committee and participating nations and worldvision fans.
In particular, MHT 2 believes there may be flaws within portions of the voting environment. Axuva is not accusing any specific nation, broadcaster, delegation, or individuals of wrongdoing.

The broadcaster is simply acknowledging a pattern it believes deserves examination and greater transparency.
MHT 2 encourages the Worldvision Committee and all participating nations to remain open to every type of nation, every legitimate musical effort, and every form of musical identity, regardless of a country’s history in the contest, reputation alliance, or sound. Worldvision should remain a place where musical diversity is welcomed, new artistic identities can emerge, and voting is conducted as fairly as possible.
MHT 2 stresses that it is not presenting these concerns as definitive accusations, but states that the continued perception of unfair treatment has contributed to a significant loss of confidence in the contest from the broadcaster and Axuvian worldvision fans. We would like to also show gratitude towards every person who has represented Axuva and all people involved in the processes. Our representatives have not failed Axuva. Our broadcasters have not failed Axuva. Our creative teams have not failed Axuva. They gave Worldvision everything they had.

MHT 2 would like to give our deepest thanks to every Axuvian artist, songwriter, producer, delegation member, and fan who carried us through this journey. Your passion, hard work, and belief in Axuva have meant more than any placement ever could. We also extend our sincere gratitude to the nations and delegations who have supported Axuva throughout the years, welcomed our artists, and rewarded our entries with their points. Every vote, and every moment of encouragement from worldvision fans will be remembered and appreciated.
While Axuva will be departing from the contest and no longer feels there is a place for it in the contest, we will always cherish the people who made us feel the opposite. We hope that future editions will continue moving toward an environment where an entry can be judged primarily on the music and performance it brings to the stage while all being judged fairly.

Our final representative and song for the 129th Worldvision Song Contest will be announced soon, marking the beginning of Axuva’s final chapter on the Worldvision stage. Thank you for 35 editions!

— MHT 2

Axuva Today Network [ATN] Today we announce that the Axuvian Government now recognizes The Russian Language as an Official Language, Korean and English were spoken in the beginning, but there were Russians too, russians were forgotten and their language were not recognized due to the things they did in the past, but now their language is a official language of Axuva, and there will now be 3 official languages instead of two.
