2027 Bhumi Championship League

The 2027 Bhumi Championship League or known as 2027 BPN Championship League for sponsorship reason, is the twelfth season of Championship League and the third under the new league system. The season scheduled to begin on 6 February and concluded on 31 October 2027, which includes a season break in August between regular season and playoff phase.

PSTK Tanjung Karang was the former champion after winning the 2026 season, but they won't be able to defend their title as they got promoted to Elite League. 9 clubs continue their participations in Championships League from the previous season. Arsetum Tumapel was the only club to be relegated to this season of Bhumi Championship League after finished last in 2026 Bhumi Elite League. Two clubs got relegated to 2027 Mandala National League after finished 11th and 12th respectively. They were Perselopo Palopo and FC Gamalama. They are replaced by the finalist of 2026 Matawis National League Championship playoff, Persekem Kembangan and FC Hulantalo.

This season would be the last season for a 12-clubs league. Expansion has been granted by BMFA to both Elite League and Championship League which expand the league into 16 clubs. By the end of this season, 6 clubs will be given promotion slots to Elite League while 2 will be relegated. On the other hand, 12 clubs will be promoted from Matawis National League, 6 from each division.

Preview

2027 was a fabulous year. A history was made after Manaro FC won their first Elite League title. They became the first eastern region to win the title. The season also felt special with more non-metropole club reached the top 6. But the 2027 also means the end of the old system and the start of a new era. Starting the 2028 season, Elite League will be back to its 16 clubs format just like the early years of the league. Historically, Elite League have been played by 16 clubs for four seasons from 2016 to 2019. So with the new setting, the league welcoming more clubs for 2028, 6 clubs to be precise.

The contention to the title is predicted to be tough this season with several names are considered by the critics and fans. Last season' champion, Manaro FC is still considered as the title contenders. As the first eastern club to win the title, Manaro FC rise is quite a surprise after a bad performance in 2026 season. And their journey in 2028 is something to look for. Manaro's head coach said that the club is keen to defend the title. Something that is rarely done in the Elite League. To this date, Persenggalu Junggalu was the only club to ever reached that achievement when they won back-to-back title in 2016 and 2017 season. To face the new season, Manaro FC invested in both local and foreign players. Other names that are consider to be in the title race are Persekarta Kartasura, PSM Mangkasara, Meru United, PSMU Mukha Upang and Persekem Kembangan. Kartasura have always been the title contenders for their consistency in the top half of the league in most of the history of the league. And in the past 5 years, they have won 2 titles, 2024 and 2026. Although strangely, the club haven't make much move to start the 2028 season. PSM Mangkasara have voiced their intention to win the title from the merger of all league in the Empire into the Bhumi League. But their journey is quite bumpy. They managed to get into the top 4 last season, the first time they reached the position and they hope to stay there. The manager seems to be quite confident with the current squad. But they did plan an intense training before the start of 2028 season. Then there's Meru United. The club have been a consistent top 6 finishers in the past 5 years. Despite their declining performance, they still considered as one of toughest contenders to the title. Their biggest threat coming from inside. The aging players. And the club try to do what they can to regenerate the players. But yes, it has to be done gradually. Their other obstacle is the rule itself. The restriction of foreign players really hit them bad. Meru United can be said as one of the club with the most foreign players in the League. And to add some more will be difficult for them as the quota have been running out. Their last chance is to look into the local players in which they do invest in the form of their youth club, Meru Academy. PSMU Mukha Upang is a new power in title contestation. The club have shown their consistency after reaching top 4 in the last two seasons. The club did some signing in the transfer window but will it be enough for them? The club's official hope they managed to be in the top 4 once again so they can compete internationally. And the last contender is the surprising Persekem Kembangan. In the recent years, Kembangan have been in a tremendous journey. Truthfully, the club is one of a major club in the western region. They just lack of luck. The club keep falling down the ladder with the series of changes apply to the league system especially the latest where they were forced to be place in the third tier, Matawis National League. But, they success to climb the ladder again, season by season. Their luck start in 2026. Finished second in the regular season of West Division Matawis National League, Kembangan gained promotion after reaching the final playoff despite losing against FC Hulantalo. Then in 2027, Kembangan success to win the Championship League title. Their second title and the third club to achieved the same feet after Persetang Tangaram (2023 and 2025) and PSTK Tanjung Karang (2024 and 2026). So can Kembangan make the same surprise in Elite League?

Some other names to be considered such as Persetang Tangaram and Persenggalu Junggalu. Tangaram promoted to the Elite League after winning the 2025 Championship League. However, their journey haven't been good either. Success to reached the top 6 in 2026, they then finished 7th in 2027 season. Not a bad performance. Maybe just a bit unlucky. Seeing Tangaram competing for the top 4 might be difficult to digest but they surely aim for the top half position. Persenggalu Junggalu on the other hand is seen as the old power. Winning the first two seasons back-to-back, the club haven't reached the same feet again. In fact, they are getting surpassed by both Kartasura and Labuanjaya in title collection as both have won 3 titles each. And last season was Junggalu worst result. Seating on 8th and struggling to avoid relegation was something that can't never be dream by the players and officials. Nevertheless, the club aim to continue staying in the Elite League.

We see who the title contenders are. And now, who will be predicted to fall? Several names arise such as Kayutangi FC, Perselu Topalu, PSTK Tanjung Karang and Arsetum Tumapel. As the poorest club in this season of Elite League, Kayutangi FC is predicted to not stay long. The critics thought the pressure of being between the elite clubs will be too overwhelming for them. However, they have proof that they are capable to compete with club that have a better financial and budget than them. Kayutangi have several times reaching the top 4 in Championship League although they have less luck in the promotion playoff. The change actually help them to enter the Elite League. Making it their first appearance in the top flight. The club didn't do much in the transfer window as the have an adequate budget. And their poor scout also didn't helping much as they failed to attract some free agent into the club. So the coach have to satisfy with the squad that they have. Luckily, they compensate it with intense training so the players can face the harsh place of Elite League. Then we have Perselu Topalu. Despite their success in 2026 season after reaching 3rd place, the club's performance is unstable. And in 2027 they struggling in the bottom half and glad to be able to avoid relegation. Despite their bad performance last season, their defense and goalkeeper were praise as the club received the lowest goal against for the whole season. 20 goals were scored into their goal or 0.625 goal per match. It was far better than several last season top half clubs including PSM Mangkasara, Persekarta Kartasura and Perselab Labuanjaya with Kartasura had the most goal against with 53 total goals within a season or 1.656 goals per match. PSTK Tanjung Karang have a negative result in their first Elite League appearance. Promoted to Elite League in 2027, the club struggling at the bottom table until finally save their place at 10th with only 4 points above the relegated, AS Kopeng. But their success to stay in the league for a second season is rather satisfying for the fans. However, with the race to stay on intensify, the club is one of a few that predicted to be relegated at the of 2028 season. The club haven't make much effort to increase their performance. They still believe with their current squad. The coach stated that the club is still adapting to the Elite League atmosphere. He also said that 2028 will be a better position for them. But despite their confidence, many predict that they will struggle again this season. And last but not least, Arsetum Tumapel. In the start after the merger, Arsetum Tumapel was always struggling at the bottom of the table. They save once in 2025 after winning the relegation playoff. Until they eventually relegated in 2026 after finished last. Luckily, they got the promotion spot with the new rule despite finished 4th. They would still be able to compete in promotion playoff if the old rule still apply.

And after all these prediction and hope, let's the competition begin.

Starting the 2028 season, we saw big numbers right from start. PSM Mangkasara won big 8-1 in their opening match against Perselab Labuanjaya. It was a devastating defeat for the Labuanjaya. A second win against Perselu Topalu in the second matchday, brought PSM Mangkasara to the top of the table. Followed by Manaro FC and Persekem Kembangan. All 3 have a back-to-back win. While a bad opening was face by Persekarta Kartasura. After a 2-1 defeat against Pahandut United in their opening match, the loss again in the second matchday. This time against another promotion team, Persetegung Tegal Agung. Luckily, they redeem their failure in the third matchday. Facing a tougher opponent within the promoted teams, Persekem Kembangan, Kartasura managed to score 3 goals while Kembangan only able to score a single goal. Thus, making Kartasura achieved their first win in the season. The result also catapult their position from 16th to 11th.
In the end of the month, Manaro FC managed to lead the table. Thanks to their draw result against Arsetum Tumapel. Not a very good result however. Cause the fans hope for a win. But it's enough to make them stayed on top. At least in the end of March. The top 4 was quite interesting where the position was filled equally between west and east clubs. Kartasura on the other hand stayed at 11th. A disappointing start for a former champion. While Perselu Topalu seems to be out of luck as the club become the only club that haven't got any point in the end of March.
Mangkasara's Abdullah Kamara scored the league first hattrick when the club won 8-1 against Labuanjaya. In fact, he managed to score 4 goals in the match alone. He placed on top of the goal scorer in the end of the month together with Viktor Tampanea of Manaro FC with 5 goals. Christian Hadiwinata of Junggalu was next with 4 goals.

April was a big month with 5 matchdays going on. Kartasura start the month with a bang. Winning 7-0 against Persekuta Kutagedhe in what is dubbed as the capital derby. Kartasura being the national capital and Kutagedhe is the capital of Mangkualam. But then again, their performance was still inconsistent throughout the month. A bad performance was also happening to Manaro FC. Started the month with a 4-0 win against Kayutangi FC, the club face a series of losses until the end of the month including loss against big club such as PSM Mangkasara and Meru United. While Meru United have a better run with 4 wins and 1 loss. In the end of the month, they managed to lead the table. Followed by Persekem Kembangan, PSM Mangkasara and Persenggalu Junggalu to complete the top 4.
In the bottom table, Perselu Topalu seems to get better following 2 wins, 1 draw and 2 losses they got this month. The results made them rise to 13th although still not safe from a possible relegation. While Kayutangi FC drop to last position despite a better performance than the previous month. The most interesting one was Persekuta Kutagedhe who surprisingly landed on 14th place. As a favorite promoted club, seeing Kutagedhe in the bottom half is really something. It seems the club haven't got their rhythm in the league.

It seems that every month, another club will lead the table. This time it was PSMU Mukha Upang. Although they were neck-on-neck with Meru United. Both have the same point, PSMU Mukha Upang just have a better goal differences. Following them in the top were Persenggalu Junggalu and Persekem Kembangan. While PSM Mangkasara drop four places to 7th. Mangkasara only experience 1 win during the month with the rest of their matches were ended with losses. On the other hand, Kartasura slowly climb up. They were at 6th now. Only up two places from the previous month as the positioning was getting tougher. The sad story come from last champion, Manaro FC. Leading the league at the end of March, the club have not climb back up to their former position. In fact, they kept declining each month. They only got 1 win and another 3 losses this month, similar result as PSM Mangkasara. But for Manaro, it is a drop to 12th place which is near the relegation line. While the bottom half were still filled with the same clubs, Topalu, Kayutangi, Kutagedhe and Tanjung Karang.

It's June and it is the mid-season of Elite League. The top 4 seems to have a steady result with no much change. Well, not until the last week of June. Mukha Upang continue to lead the table after the end of May until the third week of June. However, losing to Kembangan in the 15th matchday change their position. Kembangan replace them on top of the table. Meru on the other hand continue to eyeing the top position but still unable to reached them again. Their bad side was the lack of goal difference which is the second rule for positioning in the league. And as Kembangan had a better goal difference, they were placed ahead of Meru. Kartasura really proof their worth as a big club. Starting the league with a bad performance, they become better and better each month. And in the mid-season, they were seating at 5th.

The top 8 was filled mostly with major clubs. Only PSMU Mukha Upang and Pahandut United that can be said outside the major club criteria. And 2 of them were promoted clubs, Persekem Kembangan and Pahandut United. But western clubs were still dominant with only PSM Mangkasara, the only eastern club in the top 8. At bottom, Kayutangi FC was still untouched at the last place after they fall to 16th in the 13th matchday. On top of them was PSTK Tanjung Karang who had another bad performance after last season finished 10th. Both were in the automatic relegation line. And if they were not move until the end of the season, they will be relegated. Above them, Persekuta Kutagedhe was not either as they were in the relegation playoff zone.

Preview

2028 was ended tremendously. Meru United came out as the champion after a tight run against PSMU Mukha Upang. The competition to the title was quite dramatic. After a strong performance by Persekem Kembangan throughout the mid-season, the team fumble down later on. While Meru and Mukha Upang steadily get back to their grip. Their rivalry was nowhere to be seen as it was rarely happen for teams outside Jama competing for the title. There is always 1 team from Jama who competed for the title. But 2028 become their exception. Nevertheless, several Jama's teams continue to finished in the top half of the table. They were Persekarta Kartasura and Persenggalu Junggalu. On the other hand, Persekem Kembangan maintain their top 4 position and managed to competed in international level this season. On the other hand, 3 teams were relegated in the end of last season. Kayutangi FC have to satisfy to only felt the Elite League for just a season. The same feet happened to Persetegung Tegal Agung who failed to win the playoff which cost them the Elite League spot to Perseyuda Yudakarta.

Beginning the 2029 season, all teams were preparing by strengthen their squad. Some buying foreign players while some focusing on regenerating to younger players. A warm breeze was also blew from the association after they relaxed the foreign players rule again this year making it easier for clubs to have more foreign players. This new rule was taken into advantage by several clubs including Meru United, Perseyuda Yudakarta and AS Kopeng. Meru United snatched Palopo's central back Joel Sybrandi from Kanzlia following Francis Shaba retirement. They also bought Shuhul Ahmed of Indusse from Manaro FC. Meanwhile, Yudakarta welcome Aoneva Aegvelin of Ko-Oren who was released by Persetegung Tegal Agung following their relegation. A very ironic transfer as Tegal Agung was defeated by Yudakarta in playoff so they can compete in Elite League. And AS Kopeng took Solgavden central midfielder, Valentin Byquist from Deportivo Larantuka. Other clubs however, focus on young players. PSM Mangkasara signed their former youth club' player, Antosha Flyorov from Pyazhnaya. A similar act was done by Perselab Labuanjaya by signing Yevgeny Snatkin to strengthen their left field.

Critics and fans already predicted who will competed for the title this season. Names like Meru United, Persekarta Kartasura, Persekem Kembangan, Persenggalu Junggalu and Perselab Labuanjaya were circling around. These big names were always in contention for the title although some recently have a fallout and just getting back to their feet again. We were talking about Persekem Kembangan and Persenggalu Junggalu. Kembangan made a great comeback to the Elite League after playing around in the lower tier for quite some times. While Junggalu had a better campaign in 2028 rather than their few years back during the 12-clubs system where they hardly gets into the top 6. Another name who enter the title running circle was PSMU Mukha Upang. Both critics and fans agreed that Mukha Upang have had a fairly stable performance in the past 5 seasons. And in 2028, they proven themselves to be a tough title contenders. However, some voices argue that they running out of fuel.

However, it was quite odd that none of the promoted clubs were favorited as title contenders. This happened because of the clubs history. AS Kopeng have had their great journey in early 12-clubs system. But then, their performance declining until they were relegated in 2027. They did made a comeback. A huge comeback, as a title holder of 2028 Championship League. But critics still uncertain if they can performed as they were back in the day. The same things went to Perseyuda Yudakarta. They have had their time. Winning 2021 title and runner-up in 2022, then their star start wanning until they were relegated in 2027. Yudakarta campaign in 2028 Championship League was not easy. Despite finished third, they have to competed in a playoff for a promotion spot. And they won. Yudakarta's promotion to Elite League created a history as all 3 main capitals of the Empire once again compete in the highest level, Yudakarta, Kartasura and Kutagedhe. It was last happened in 2021 before Kutagedhe relegation. PSBR Balawan Raya last competed in Elite League in 2023 after entering the Elite League for the first time in 2018, also as a runner-up. But their performance a few years have not convinced the critics and fans for their 2029 Elite League campaign. People predict their will be one of the team that gets relegated in the end of the season. Besides Balawan Raya, Topalu, Tumapel and Kutagedhe were teams that are believe to struggling in 2029 season. Based on their previous performance, these teams were predicted to be relegated.

Although 2029 football season was being celebrated tremendously, something beyond the football keeps lurking which might affect the running of the competition this year. The political and security situation of the Empire have been declining from late 2028. Despite a huge success of 2028 General Election, the people were content. The general election created the highest number of blank and void votes throughout the history of the Fifth Empire. The plan of Galiyao' Referendum also made the situation worst as the Eastern conflicts rising again. BMFA issue tighten security in all matches especially home matches in Mangkasara, Manaro and Topalu, 3 eastern cities in the league.

It seems something was repeating as big numbers appears at the start of the competition just like the previous season. And Labuanjaya made their way to lead the table in the end of March with a clean sweep win. Despite the good run, fans warned for the team to stay on their right track or something bad might happen. On the other hand, Kembangan starting from the bad side this season. Finished last in the end of April, they only gained one point from a draw against Pahandut United in the second matchday. While promoted club, Perseyuda Yudakarta proof that they are ready for Elite League. Despite promoted via playoff, they show a great performance with 3 wins and only 1 loss in March. On the other hand, big names like Kartasura and Meru United looks struggling at the start. Meru however was able to turn the table in April and push to fourth place behind Labuanjaya, Yudakarta and Kutagedhe.

And just like the warning, Labuanjaya losing their pace starting in May. After experiencing their first loss in April, the club seems to gain less than they were hope for. Labuanjaya drop outside the top 4 in the end of May. On the other hand, Kutagedhe surprisingly lead the table although with the same point as Meru United. They were ahead in goal difference. While Kartasura and Kembangan were still not recover from their bad luck. They were still stuck in the lower half of the table. On the other hand, Manaro FC success to move away from relegation zone. They rise from 16th in the end of April to 8th in end of May.

Through the mid-season in the end of June, Meru United was able to snatch the leading position although in a slight 1 point ahead of the second place, Kutagedhe. Completed the top 4 were Yudakarta who surprisingly still on their best run and Junggalu who move up to the top 4. Unfortunately, Labuanjaya unable to get back to their position in the top 4. They were playing low at 8th in the mid-season. On the other hand, Mangkasara made a surprise by finishing 5th. Up nine places from 14th a month ago. And Kartasura finally showed up in the top half of the table after finishing 7th. Still not a good spot for them but at least they were improving. While Kembangan was still at 10th.

Seeing PSMU Mukha Upang in the relegation zone was rather surprising and hurtful. The team have been an inspiration for several minor clubs in the Elite League after their constant performance and finishing top 4 in the passed 5 years. But it seems this year was not for them. However, fans were still supporting and hope for the club to be able to improve their performance in the second half of the season.

Outside the field. The situation worsen following the joint statement made by the leaders of 4 states in eastern part of the Empire, Walanae, Tomini, Southeast Islands and United Kieraha. They pushed for a similar treatment from the central government as they granted permission to Galiyao to determine their future through referendum. While their demand of referendum was denied. At the start of the year, they had warn the Empire that they might boycotting everything before the referendum is given. And this warn was felt within the League. BMFA saw an increased of negative behavior conducted by the supporters. Such as lighting flares, throwing garbage to the field or even screaming slurs towards opponents players. Some clubs had been fined because of it. PSM Mangkasara face the largest charged. The association spokesperson urge all parties to separate between sports and politics and hope the eastern associations didn't get provoked by the statement made by those leaders.

A critical situation happened during the mid-season break. As the political situation worsen between the Empire and the eastern states leaders, it seems that it affected to other fields also. The announcement made earlier this year that the eastern states will blocked or withdrawing from every domestic competitions, events and else until the Empire given them the same opportunity of self determination referendum as Galiyao is finally happen. Four state's football associations, Walanae Football Federation (WFF), Tomini Football Association (TFA), Southeast Islands Football Union (SIFU) and United Kieraha Football Association (UKFA) collectively withdrawing their membership from BMFA, Bhumi Matawis Football Association and it is in effect immediately after the president of the four associations announced it on 7 July 2029. The decision drew mixed reactions. BMFA President regret the decision and hope the four associations would having a second thought about it. However, in 18 July 2029 all clubs from all four associations simultaneously announced their withdrawing from all domestic competition in all levels. BMFA made a quick decision to continue the competition especially Elite, Championship, Elite Academy League and Bhumi Cup while suspended Matawis National League and the national phase of Mandala Regional League. But the good thing is no relegation and promotion was in effect. For Elite League, 3 clubs withdrawing. They were PSM Mangkasara, Manaro FC and Perselu Topalu. The first is member of WFF and the last two is part of TFA.

The competition continue as schedule on 28 July 2029 with less matches per week. Meru United retain their position at the top of the table until the end of July followed by Perseyuda Yudakarta who still eyeing for the top spot. While Kartasura slowly but sure approaching the top 4 zone. On the other hand, Labuanjaya face a hard time after experiencing 2 wins and 3 losses which them fall hard to 12th place or falling 5 places from the previous month.

Yudakarta finally take over the lead of the table in early September. They continue to lead until the of the month. While Meru United have to drop to third place but they were 1 matches short from Yudakarta which makes their fans believe that they still have a chance to mad a come back. On the other hand, Labuanjaya finally broke into the top 4. After 9 additional points throughout September, they take the second spot at the end of the month. But the downside was, they have more matches than the first and third place which makes their position vulnerable. Their success was also followed by Kembangan who after a hard start finally able to reached top 4. Seating at fourth place, their position was critical. They have multiple disadvantages from more matches done and a close point gap between the positions where between second and seventh position only have 5 points gap.

In the last five matches leading to the end of the season, Yudakarta became more and more untouchable. Meru United was only able to close the gap. Yudakarta claim the title of Champion which become their second title after previously won the league in 2021. Kartasura retain the position in the top 4 finishing third. Still a good end after a struggling start. And completed the top 4 was Persekuta Kutagedhe in what was the club's best performance in Elite League in the club's history. Their former best performance was when they finished 5th in 2017. This result was phenomenal as all clubs from 3 main capitals of the Empire finished at the top 4. Something that never happened before. On the lower table, people were surprise with Balawan Raya result that was higher than AS Kopeng and Pahandut United. Although still finished outside the top 10 and having the highest goal against in the league this season, with 60 goal against, their result was still praised as many predicted that they might ended up at the bottom of the table.

Outside the field, BMFA is considering the future of the league structure with the withdrawing of the four eastern regional associations. The spokesperson said that it is might be temporary as they hope they will reenter BMFA again. They also said that the new structure would only affected the third and fourth level which have active involvement of the eastern states. While about the players, BMFA hope that all clubs that still active under the association won't discriminate players from eastern states and continue their performance in the club. The association won't give any sanction for them. However for all associations in eastern states, they were barred to create any league and if they ever do it, the league would be consider illegal. All international competitions are encourage to turn down their participation. Clubs within the eastern states are also banned to compete internationally in any capacity.

Review

The Championship League have their new sponsor this season, Primavesta, a food processing company focusing on frozen food and instant seasoning. This is the start of 5 years sponsorship contract. Back to the competition, Mantyasih start the competition with a great performance as they lead the table at the end of March with 3 wins and 1 draw. Following them in the top 3 were Tual City United and Kayutangi FC. Sawing Tual City United in the top 3 was a surprise by everyone as no one have ever predicted the team could performed this good. While in the bottom four, sawing PSTK Tanjung Karang was a surprise. Relegated from last season, the club seems to haven't got to their best performance again. And in the bottom table we saw PSB Betingan. Another surprise and disappointment as the team was finished 6th last season.

Throughout April, Mantyasih had a lot of trouble. They start the month with 2 draws than continue with another 2 losses. Thus making them fall from the throne and landed on 6th place. Kayutangi FC replaced them in the top position while Tual City United still hanging around at third place. On the second place, there was FC Dumai who slowly sneaking into the position. Kayutangi continue their leadership in the league until the end of May with Wahanten FC successfully break into the top 3 after long fight from the start of the league. They sit at second and followed by FC Dumai who fall one place from last month. At the mid-season, Mantyasih comeback to the top spot after a good run throughout June after toppling Kayutangi on the 14th matchday. Kayutangi however only slip one place to second while surprisingly PSTK Tanjung Karang suddenly sit on the third place. No one ever saw it coming that Tanjung Karang will break into top 3 as they where squatting at 13th place last month. It was a huge jump for the team. On the other hand, PSB Betingan was not move from their last place. A position that they held from the 7th matchday and mostly throughout the first half of the season. Only in 2 matchdays that they didn't finished last. The first matchday where Persab Alam Baraja took the last position. And FC Laiurai on the 6th matchday.

After the mid-season break, the League was affected just like the other leagues in the Empire after the withdrawing decision made by the four regional associations and their clubs. And in the league, 5 clubs were withdrawing. Tual City United, Persesio Soasio and FC Jailao from United Kieraha, Persewa Watampone from Walanae and FC Hulantalo from Tomini. The league however keeps going on without those 5 clubs. The race to the title was competed by four clubs, Kayutangi FC, PSMS Mantyasih, PSTK Tanjung Karang and Wahanten FC. In the end, Kayutangi FC came out as the winner with 6 points gap with the runner up PSMS Mantyasih. While PSTK Tanjung Karang finally seating at third. At the bottom, PSB Betingan ended being last (not counting the withdraws). Fortunately, no relegation was applied this season so Betingan still can compete in Championship League next season. On the other hand, half of the promoted clubs were finishing in the top half with Wahanten FC get the highest placement on fourth.

As the announcement made by BMFA spokesperson, adjustment will be made following the situation for the next season. They emphasized that the change might be temporary with the hope that the eastern clubs will join back to the association. The change will be announced shortly before the start of the next season.
