It's time again for the CAFA Cup, the flagship competition of the Confederation of Anaian Football Associations!

Are you elligible to take part? Well take a look around. Are you in the region of Anaia right now? If that's the case, or you're willing to make it the case, then sign up below with your team's roster. Your roster can just be a link to a previous roster from a previous football tournament. You can't sign up with a placeholder post, so don't give us any 'roster to come' posts please!

With your roster, it is also recommended to include an RP permissions box. An example of this can be found in the spoiler below:
Code: Select all
RP Permissions Box
If my opponent RPs our match first, I give them permission to:
Godmod scoring events: Y/N
RP Injuries to my players: Y/N
Godmod injuries to my players: Y/N
Hand out yellow cards to my players: Y/N
Hand out red cards to my players: Y/N
Godmod other events: Y/N
I prefer you pick these goalscorers for my side:

Puppet Entries:
If a user signs up with a nation that entered the previous CAFA, they can enter up to two Anaian nations. You must indicate which is your main nation and which is your puppet. Undeclared puppets who do not comply with this rule may be removed from the tournament.

AI Usage
Outside of translation services, it's expected that you do not use AI at all for your roster or roleplays. Hosts may punish AI use however they see fit.

Host Bids:
Host bids should be posted in this thread. Prospective hosts should indicate their plans for format, scorinator, RP Bonus, tiebreakers, and any other elements as needed.

The host will set the entry deadline. This is expected to be about 7 days after the CoH finishes.

Current CAFA Rankings:
The current CAFA rankings will be made available after the conclusion of the Cup of Harmony. See here for a guide to how the new cycle's CAFA Rankings may look.

Acknowledging that audiences might be quite sick to the horse teeth of half-baked attempts to revive the Gory Days of Wight, a small bunch of Wightlings left behind when the original bubble universe was run over by a catastrophic termination event have banded together at the Office of Slight Returns (the OSR) in Peashank's Camp, a temporary frontier fort on the abandoned and disappointingly scruffy island of Exchromatika (I hope Anaia declined to give the last tenants their deposit back - this is going to take a lot of fixing up). The OSR once again plan to revive the grand old nation against all sensible advice and best instincts by assembling a football team from the survivors, descendents of non-survivors, other devils of Wight and Climo Coss. Who won the World Cup with Wight back in '65; and then again back in '95 with Delte.

My opponent, if they RP first, may consider:
Everything permitted: Yes
Pick The Teams: Yes
Right to Reciprocity Reserved: Yes*

Attacking Modifier: +2.3
*If you do it, we might do it back. Or not. Hard to tell.

Home Colours: All Cemetary Night Blue
Away Colours: All Lord of the Hunt Red
Third Colour: All Stolen Gold

Nickname: Costello's Antiquarian Pitchblende Revivalist Casuals
Formation: Attack-minded 4-4-2

HEAD COACH: Climo Coss★, who has twice won the World Cup and most other things besides
ASSISTANT: Caddy Laws, a second tier striker out in Taxhavn who is too old to play CAFA football but has a coaching badge from somewhere
HEAD OF THE OSR: Duke Aim, a devil of Wight who founded Anaia, pretty much on his own, during his lunchbreak whilst on diplomatic duty in Foxchester
COACHING TEAM: Argentino Bear, Grippa Sparrowside, Titicaca Quinn and Fibula Dunmore-Warble; all players in Wight's last revival, back in '96
PRESS MANAGER: Iphicus Mongleath Oxheart; former goalkeeper. Whether he is a pitchside tactician or media room guard-dog I haven't decided

If you RP first feel free to select anyone from the squad for scoring, incidents, injuries, etc.
All club teams are based as indicated in the roster, a key follows.

Roster for Cycle 102
Style Modifier: -5

Nicknamed the Bulls, Audioslavia's national football team are renowned for being 'scrappy' and 'ugly' and 'downright cheats'. Here is a brief guide to the current team, and how to interact with them.

Take a look at the Henchmenbeating up the wrong guy
The guys there to be made to look silly by your star players and goalscorers.

Goalkeeper
The guy leaping through the air, flailing forlornly at the ball as it evades his grasp
Ruy Palma (24, GK, AC Izotz Zubia) Nicknamed “Hologram hands” by fans of his club, Audioslavia has a bit of a drought when it comes to keepers, especially now that Hein Helder has retired from international football. Palma is apparently the best we have on offer in that position now. Excellent form in qualifying for World Cup 101 gave way to shakier performances in the World Cup proper, where he kept just one clean sheet across seven games.

The Hammer-Thrower
A hammer-thrower is a big lumbering shit-house whose only strength is strength. This is the ugly villain your star player outmanoeuvres and outwits
João-Fernando Gostamuito (31, CB, Bombarralense)
João is a grunter. You can tell he's behind you because there's this endless torrent of guttural insults flying at you, occasionally accompanied by the dull thud of his knuckles hitting the ground. What Gostamuito lacks in intelligence, speed, agility, intelligence, personality, fair play and intelligence, he makes up for in the sheer size of his massive hands. He should have been a goalkeeper, but he's a centre half who hates foreigners. Sometimes grows his fingernails long and offers a free tattoo removal service to strikers while awaiting corner kicks. Can be made to look very silly indeed by any attacker with even a thimbleful of elan.

Angry defender who points and shouts when things go wrong
The guy who allocates the blame while your hero celebrates
Goran Yurán (25, CB, Hamiltonian Cambria [KSK])
Like Gostamuito, he constantly talks shit throughout the game. Unlike Gostamuito, he’s not made of ogre DNA. Nevertheless, Goran is one of nature’s natural arseholes. Scored a goal in the World Cup 99 final. Scored an own-goal in the World Cup 101 final. Neither was surprising.

Mr. Broken Ankles
The guy your winger leaves on his butt as he makes his way down the wing.
Gryff Gould (31, LB, Aeolis United [MIR])
Well-travelled by the standards of the players in this team, in that he’s played for two foreign clubs (Hondo FC [VAL] and Old Shakerssen’s [TAX]), Gould is a typical Audioslavian full-back in that he’s short, tenacious and seemingly once entered into a blood feud with the entire concept of ‘ankles of foreign wingers’. The only way to stop him stamping on your winger’s ankles is to be too fast for him to do so. In other words, if you can make ‘Mr. Broken Ankles’ refer to Gryff as he twists himself in a knot trying to chase your winger, you’re good.

The Violent Cheat
The guy who can’t help but give away free kicks and penalties
Koren Lorentzen (31, RB/CB, KT Itzalovalle)
Not a Ko-orenite despite the name, yet nevertheless likes defensive football, conlangs and art-rock. Koren isn’t particularly quick, and so has to slow down opponents in order to keep up. As such, he’s had his hands on the collars of more football shirts than a sweatshop seamstress.

we can be Heroes just for one day
The guys finding just about enough time to create and convert chances in between appearing in adverts and checking their hair. Audioslavia play ‘on the counter’, which means we’re at our most effective when turning defence into attack.

Alarmingly fast wingback
This guy’s entire job is to sprint down the wing when counterattacking. Maybe he’s carrying the ball out of defence himself, maybe he’s appearing on the blindside to receive the ball in attack. Either way, he’s diminutive, annoying and ridiculously fast.
Jordi Parliament-Funkadelic (20, RB/RW, 1830 Cathair) Mother Earth is pregnant for the third time, for y'all have knocked her up. I have tasted the maggots in the mind of the universe. I was not offended. For I knew I had to rise above it all, or drown in my own shit. Gets in down the channels and likes to have a go at the full-back. Pronounce his name as if he’s French-Croatian. Scored the winning goal in the WC101 final, albeit accidentally.

Accursed Elbow Windmill
A forward player whose main job is to kick, spit, pinch, gouge, jab, knee, niggle and, as the name suggests, elbow your defenders as hard as possible without the referee seeing. The resulting diminished stamina and morale bar can be taken advantage of by the other forwards.
Denzel Keegan (31, AM, Waiakea Warriors [DAN])
A master of the dark arts. Known to grow his nails long on his pinching fingers. Once gave a striker a monkey scrub while waiting for a corner and somehow earned a free-kick himself for his trouble. When you see him for the first time, you think he’s angry. Then, you realise he has that thing wherein his forehead is naturally wrinkled in such a way that it looks like he has a permanent scowl. Finally, you realise that no, you were right the first time, this guy is perpetually furious.

Captain Hollywood
The Hollywood Pass is a long, curling ball, ideally hit with the outside of the player’s weaker foot, whose entire purpose is to make onlookers go ‘oh gosh what a great pass’. If the pass ends in a goalscoring opportunity, that’s a bonus.
Moses Marques (19, AM, AC Izotz Zubia)
Marques has one foot. His left foot. That’s it. The right one is for standing on while he does crazy things with his left foot. He’s all trivelas and rabonas and tracking back to get on his left foot. Seriously he might just have a landmine on the instep of his right boot, that’s the only way to account for how one-footed he is. Very good with his left though, got to give that to him.

The Geometrist
Captain Hollywood’s nerdy sidekick, the geometrist’s job is to play a perfectly weighted five-yard pass along the ground into exactly the perfect position for a team-mate to take a shot. If Captain Hollywood spends his entire life in the middle of the pitch looking in every direction for a long, curling pass, The Geometrist is found on the edge of the penalty area, looking for a way to play a delicate pass along the ground to a destination nobody but the striker expects.
Cam Hooper (26, AM, Shamrock Cathair)
A bald wizard, he seems to be able to create space on a pitch just by shifting his weight from one side to the other. Cam lets his football do the talking, which everyone who’s heard his accent is grateful for. Has one of those unfortunate resting fly-catcher faces and, as such, tends to dribble while he dribbles.

The Blunderbus
Big lad. Make goal with head. Kick footballs hard. No conjugate verbs.
Jan Poulsson (24, CF, Oljestaden IF)
It’s not fair that he’s been asked to replace the retiring Kjartan Lúnquerque. Lúnquerque is a beast who won two world cups. Poulsson is a tall training cone. Good in the air, garbage everywhere else.

Extras
For the sake of completionism. Or, in other words: A team should probably have eleven players in it, and some subs to boot.

The Water Carrier
Take ball from henchman, give to hero.
Rayo Forster (21, DM, AC Izotz Zubia. Barely 5’6, bundles of energy, could get booked for shirt-pulling in a skins vs shirts match. Another in a long line of annoying high-energy low-talent Audioslavian DMs. Passes the ball sideways a lot. Likes to have the occasional shot from 35 yards but has yet to score one.

Substitutes
This isn't all the available substitutes, just a selection of players from the rest of the squad.
Churrasco (21, GK, CF Daineri) Another one.
Rory Riou (20, CB, 1830 Cathair) Too young to be lumbered with the derogatory nickname of ‘hammer thrower’, at 5’8 much too short to be a hammer thrower, and so pundits are trying their damnedest to say something about else about Rory. The best they’ve got is that he excelt in mallet casting, cudgel chucking and gavel heaving.
Wynn De Vos (22, CB/RB, Oljestaden IF) Injury sub. Boring even by the standards of a second choice right-back.
Govran Bastarretxea (32, AM, KT Moreazerua) - Deeply tanned but with mid-length auburn hair, Govran is the most attractive player in the Audioslavian team, which is like being the healthiest bucket of offal in the abbatoir. Makes up in confidence what he lacks in skill. Claims to be able to land a long pass on a sixpence from fifty yards, but time spent going and setting up such a trickshot is time Govran will spend chatting up your girlfriend.
Leandro Róbison (31, AM/CF, KT Itzalovalle) Injury sub. When he’s about to come onto the field, one of your mates goes ‘oh god not this guy’ and your other mate goes ‘this guy’s awesome just you wait and see’ and then he just does nothing.
Tremolo Cortis (19, CF, 1830 Cathair) To be used as a last resort when losing.

About Audioslavia

Formed in December 2002, Audioslavia is one of the oldest nations on NS. An entrant into World Cup 4, it's also one of the oldest football teams in existence.

The side are famed for losing finals, having lost the finals of editions 12, 19, 20, 29, 67, 69 and 76. There have been some bright spots on the way, though. We won World Cups 63 and 64, somehow won World Cup 99, and are somehow the reigning champions having won World Cup 101
In addition to these three World Cup titles, the side have won five regional championships (4x AOCAF Cup, 1x CAFA Cup), a Cup of Harmony and a Baptism of Fire trophy. We're one of only five sides to have won the 'Grand Slam' of all three WCC titles plus a regional, and we're the only side to have finished in all three medal positions in all possible major senior tournaments.

Style of Play
Post Football is the name given to Audioslavia's style of play. It's based on the idea that, the less the game resembles football, the more ill at ease your opponents will be. Audioslavia play dirty, sideways and overly cautiously.
Kontrapuntzeka is another word for Audioslavia's style of play. Literally meaning counter-attacking, Audioslavia's national team are comfortable playing without the ball and charging forward in numbers when they do finally get it. Each player on this team has a deep understanding of how, when and where to attack on the counter. Losing the ball and allowing the Bulls to hit you on the break has been fatal to many a top ten team throughout history.
Our footballers tend to be on the shorter, leaner side, with everyone outside of the goalie, centre forward and centre half topping out at about 5'10.
Audioslavian footballers are often tenacious, with the highest levels of stamina you'll see in world football. Audioslavian sides are often capable of playing at a high-tempo for long periods of time, and wins are often through attrition rather than skill.
Audioslavian teams are notorious for gamesmanship - the bending of the rules in order to gain an advantage. Players will taunt, feign injury, surround the referee, basically anything if it seems like it'd be beneficial. Audioslavians feel no shame in this. As far as they're concerned, their willingness to go further than the other team is a sign that they're more dedicated than their opponents might be. What might be considered dishonourable behaviour for you might be considered normal in Audioslavia.
Audioslavian teams fear losing. It's our greatest weakness and, given how this fear manifests itself in big games, a powerful irony
As well as lacking a bit of raw power, Audioslavian footballers often lack technique compared to their foreign counterparts. Nobody in the team is stationary and expecting a pass to feet. Passes are played into roughly the space the player will be sprinting into. When the side are countering, it's all speed-speed-speed.
Above all else though, what Audioslavian national teams often lack is heart. The worse things are going, the worse Audioslavians play. They're the classic bully. When things don't pan out as they expect, they retreat physically and mentally.

The Manager
The hot-seat is occupied by former Cazadores Cathair manager Salvador Monterroso, a man who was semi-famous a while ago as a player for being one of the many stars of hit documentary A Tale of Two Cathairs. Monterroso spent almost all his career at Cazadores Cathair, if not always in the actual first eleven. A limited player, he'd temporarily move abroad to FC Capri later in his career, but would eventually return to finish his career at Caza. After going into management with Union Cathair, he eventually earned a job as manager back at Cazadores and would lead them to two league titles.

The only possible team that could have tempted him away was the national team, where he'd eventually succeed Winfridh as manager at the end of cycle 97, guiding the team to a third place finish in the Cup of Harmony as his first port of call. Under his stewardship, the team qualified for World Cup 98, where they were entirely ineffective, but bounced back to a third place finish in the CAFA Cup before winning World Cup 99 in unfathomable circumstances. Having added World Cup 101 as well, Monterroso is an unlikely candidate for the title of greatest Bulls manager in history.

The Martian Independent Republic and Saggitarius A*
Bid to Co-Host CAFA 14

Host OOC information
The Martian Independent Republic has hosted Elephant Chess Cup XIII. This would be his first time hosting a football tournament, although he has some experience with LISA, using it for his domestic league and for scorinating friendly matches.

Though Saggitarius A* has never hosted any international tournament on account of it being a gargantuan supermassive black hole with no surface to speak of, its parent nation Audioslavia has co-hosted four World Cups and four regional tournaments, as well as four seasons of WGPC. Audio was the co-founder of the COCANEFA LigAnaia (2014-2017) and the creator of The Racing Scorinator, The Idiot Project databases, the KPB+ Rankings and the Unofficial World Championship. He’s also a former WCC President and current rank-keeper for both the WCC and CAFA.

Games scheduled to be played in Sgr A* will actually take place in Koroa City or in the Audioslavian cities of Ferramendiak, Kjeligsted and Silexhera.

Scorination
LISA Scorinator V1.093 (as used in WC101)
Reference rank: 2.6

After a couple of marathon tournaments in recent editions, we’re looking for a sprint this time out. We plan to go from start to finish over the course of about ten to twelve days, with three group-stage matchups on days 1-5 and three or four knockout matches on days 6-10. Cutoff windows are yet to be determined exactly but the aim will be to have one window across both hosts.

In addition, for the first time since CAFA 4 we’ll be implementing Brevity Rules. You will have exactly 151 words to play with every matchday, and you are limited to one image per post. Maximum RP bonus can only be hit if you keep to these parameters, though you’ll still get some bonus if you feel you need to post more.

Tiebreakers
Points, H2H, Goal Difference, Wins, Penalty Shootout (using Qusmo's scorinator, which is equivalent to a coin flip)

Format
We’re expecting about 16-24 teams, so we’d like to go for X groups of four teams, with the top two advancing either into quarterfinals or into a Round of 10/Round of 12 playoff sort of thing.

to answer the question of 'why is this bid coming before a roster from the MIR', it's because the roster depends on CoH performance but the bid doesn't

The Free Spirits of Groovydara

[your ears perk up. the unmistakable sound of disco music percolates throughout the airwaves. an irresistible urge to sway your hips and point at things takes over you. you, too, are groovy, baby.]

Look Up! It’s time to turn that frown Upside Down, ya dig? We’ve Got To Be Real with yous, we’re still waiting for our first Breakout cycle in the CAFA Cup, but with certain nations allowing themselves to be Somebody Else’s Guy, we felt like it was high time to be a part of the Good Times. So, what are we all waiting for? It’s time to Boogie Oogie Oogie! Ain’t Nothing But A Party, after all…

Below is a list of our groovers, baby. What, did you want a list of positions? That’s too restricting! These are groovers, man! We like to do what we like, take to the dance floor, and kick ass! For the sake of simplicity, though, we’ve pointed out our eleven best groovers. You’re more than welcome to place them in whatever position or style you want, punk.

Cicaplast Noteukitsos
Orthodoxos Orthodoxou
Odysseus Homophrosyne
Montsel•lucast Montsel•lucast
Sibil•la Dalmases
Telemachus Papotis
Lykourgos Relliades
Paraskevoula Stavrelli
Aniketos Vassallopoulos
Theofylaktos Panagellis
Leodogari Franquet

Driope Cuatrecases
Penèlope Victory
Menelaus Mustiades
Lefteris Ioanniades
Christos Gabriades
Stergios Michaelakos
Aristoteles Andropoulos
Paraskevas Politelis
Crescenzia Costantino
Herakles Procopiatos
Theofilos Apostolidis
Agapi Zografouli

The head groover in the house, making sure all the party animals stay safe, watered, and fed, is the Groovy Mama herself, Persephone. Persephone only has one name because she don’t waste time around here. If you can’t pick her out, open your eyes, dude! She’ll be at the touchline in a glittery gold outfit, busting moves. The groovers will groove in something more reasonable and Vdaran - that being a plain blue shirt with white and gold collars and cuffs, as well as some white shorts. Colours are inversed for away games.

Of course, this being the era of disco and groove, the VdarArena hasn’t been built yet. But with enough psychedelic substances and a little bit of imagination, anywhere can be an outstanding arena. So, without further ado, let your body and the music take you to…

[we don’t use AI in this house, so use your groovy brain to envisage a comically large disco ball.]

…our dance floor! We made sure you can see this thing from anywhere. You couldn’t possibly miss it! Don’t worry about the lights being too bright - everyone is given sunglasses on the way in. Don’t worry about the heat, either, we figured out a workaround. But we’ll tell you about all that later. The Dance Floor holds as many groovers as you wanna take, so don’t fret…

[bzzzzzzzzzt]

What do you mean we don’t dance on our own floor? Shit, man! That was our whole gimmick! Change of plan. The Dance Floor will act as a travelling groove hub.

Now, if you wanna know our style, you gotta get to know us. We’re all about being open and taking the groove to you, so I guess that makes us a +5 kinda group. As for permissions, mi casa es tu casa, man!

groovy box of groovy summaries
style mod: +5
all permissions: groove on
Come for the weather. Stay for the fitba. Leave for somewhere prettier.

It's the first time in this new era of Warkusian football that the team is in a bit of a crisis. They looked poor throughout the qualifiers and only really seemed to recover by the end, when everyone knew that there was nothing left to play for and that the manager already had one foot out the door. However, they are, on paper, stronger than ever. They're the highest they've ever been in the KPB+ rankings and the inaugural season of the Warkus Premier has given the staff more of an opportunity to evaluate the nation's talent pool. A Semi Finals appearance in Cup of Harmony 91 and a Quarter Finals appearance in the last CAFA Cup show that this team has the ability to make a deep run if things go their way. On the other hand, their poor qualifying performance and backroom chaos show that they could crumble just as easily.

The manager ever since Warkus's return to international football in the World Cup 99 cycle, until he resigned at the end of the team's failed attempt to qualify for World Cup 101. But somehow, Jack Blethyn returned. Even more surprisingly, he's more powerful than ever after a baffling 'coup' that took place over a few short hours. He got the team from unranked to 84th in the world by the end of his second cycle, with his most impressive result so far being the team's first ever knockout round appearance in Cup of Harmony 91 where they made it to the Semi Finals. But the team's struggles during the qualifiers, along with his resignation and subsequent rehiring, plus an 'okay, not great' performance in the last Cup of Harmony suggest that he'll need to shake things up a bit if he wants his team to perform well.

Often referred to by the nickname ‘Princeps’ ever since his romantic relationship with Queen Eirian Protheroe became known to the public (They're now engaged). The traditionalist types aren't keen on his overly academic, businessman-style approach to coaching, especially since he was never a professional footballer himself. But even they can't complain when the Doves are playing exciting, if occasionally messy, attacking football. Jack has managed the most games of any Warkus national team manager, although he's still managed the team for the shortest length of time owing to the modern two year cycle and the team's consistent participation in competitions outside of the World Cup Qualifiers.

Image
1. Daniel Benjamin, 23 y/o - Club of Choppyhausen City - Image
Regular starter since World Cup 99
The team’s ball-playing, starting goalkeeper. Good at helping the team play through the press and making accurate passes, but prone to crumbling against a high volume of shots on goal.

35. Elizabeth Morgan, 20 y/o - Khywyala Lions - Image
Bench player since Cup of Harmony 92 (post-World Cup 101).
A talented, if occasionally unfocused, ball-playing goalkeeper. She didn't have the greatest season with the Khywyala Lions, given that she let in over forty goals during the course of the season, but her potential and youth have earned her a call up.

32. James Orwell, 33 y/o - CPD Dinas Sand - Image
Bench player since World Cup 99
A traditional shot-stopping goalkeeper. If his distribution was any good, he’d probably be better than the other options. Doesn’t gel with Jack Blethyn’s setup.

Image
2. Iawn Owen, 32 y/o - Caer Lloer - Image
Regular starter since World Cup 99
A decent water carrier who usually plays as a leftback but can play as a rightback as well. He doesn’t really excel at anything in particular and usually ends up passing the ball as soon as he can.

4. Isetyn Piwter, 29 y/o - Steel United - Image
Regular starter since World Cup 99
The team’s marquee centreback. Tall, strong, tactically astute (finally!) and good in corners but not so great on the ball and tends to commit not-so-tactical fouls. Probably the most likely to get sent off.

3. Aneurin Evans, 34 y/o - CPD Dinas Sand - Image
Regular starter since World Cup 99
The more agile, ball-playing counterpart to Isetyn. The traditional leader of the back four but increasingly sharing that role with Isetyn. Now that he’s 33, he’s losing some of his speed and natural athleticism.

97. Mary Davies, 29 y/o - Reaktiv Ibsia - Image
Regular starter since CAFA Cup 13 (post-World Cup 100), previously a bench player from World Cup 99-100.
A pacy, short rightback who often overlaps with winger Max Tarbutt in possession. Sometimes criticised for being too much of a ‘pace merchant’ who struggles against players who are either faster or more patient than her.

21. Tyler Mohan, 27 y/o - Sun Fort Sundayers - Image
Bench player since Cup of Harmony 92 (post-World Cup 101).
Demonstrated excellence as a starting centreback for the Sun Fort Sundayers in the inaugural season of the Warkus Premier. Perhaps he's been snubbed up until this point and could compete for Piwter's spot in the starting eleven.

5. James Roberts, 35 y/o - Khywyala Lions - Image
Bench player since CAFA Cup 13 (Post-World Cup 100), previously a regular starter from World Cup 99-100.
Similar to Iawn Owen, but older. And slower. And his fitness levels have been dropping off rapidly since the last Cup of Harmony. He's already announced this'll be his final tournament with the national team.

55. Ahmed al-Saqqaf, 29 y/o - Verdanforest Rovers - Image
Bench player since World Cup 99.
Ahmed gets to play when Aneurin’s shattered or injured. He’s the type of player you’d use to progress the ball up the pitch, but his decision making leaves much to be desired.

50. Victor Murphy, 30 y/o - Caer Lloer - Image
Bench player since World Cup 99.
A rightback option. Not a great one under this manager, as he just doesn’t slot into the system. Still, he's an okay bench option if Jack wants to play more defensively in the closing minutes of a game.

Image
6. Rhodri Fallows, 33 y/o - CPD Dinas Sand - Image
Regular starter since World Cup 99.
Vice-captain and arguably the team’s most underrated player. A stoic midfielder who looks unremarkable but has good stats and always seems to make the team perform better when he’s playing.

7. Michael Williams, 32 y/o - KPD Nyrareth Newydd - Image
Regular starter since World Cup 99.
A flashier counterpart to Rhodri. Tends to roam around a lot and tries to dribble past opponents, but he can’t read the game as well as Rhodri can.

98. Sara Maxwell, 30 y/o - Verdanforest Rovers - Image
Bench player since World Cup 99.
Sara is great on the ball and can read the play like Rhodri, but she doesn’t have the athleticism to be part of the starting 11. She’s also easily bullied by defensively minded players.

18. Pádraig Murphy, 24 y/o - Baile na bPéitseog - Image
Bench player since Cup of Harmony 91 (post-World Cup 99).
Seen by many as Rhodri’s understudy and eventual successor but has a meaningfully lower ceiling as a player and a leader. He’s not the finished product just yet.

12. Ryan Lawson, 20 y/o - Steel United - Image
Bench player since Cup of Harmony 91 (post-World Cup 100).
Generally paired with Pádraig and seen as a successor to Michael. Unlike Pádraig, people do believe that he has the potential to be as good or better than Michael someday. He only just came back from a bad injury, so he won't make the starting eleven even if he's probably good enough to.

77. Seven Price, 28 y/o - Yr Hen Glwb - Image
Bench player since World Cup 99.
A more traditional central midfielder. Likes to play more directly than the other midfielders. One time a journalist described his play as ‘all about nothing’, which doesn’t make any sense.

Image
9. Siôr Castell, 24 y/o - KPD Nyrareth Newydd - Image
Regular starter since World Cup 99.
Pacy winger who likes to cut inside and shoot at goal, even when he probably shouldn’t. Seen as the team’s ‘next big thing’ for a while now, so hopefully he’ll continue to improve. Llewelyn’s understudy in both goalscoring and pranking his coaches.

22. Colin Emrys, 24 y/o - Sun Fort Sundayers - Image
Regular starter since World Cup 100, previously a bench player during World Cup 99.
Colin usually drops deep and plays as a false nine to disrupt defenders and make things easier for Llewelyn. Sometimes grabs goals of his own, but typically plays more of a supporting role. He's also the player who ends up dropping back to help the team defend. Passing and shooting accuracy sometimes leave much to be desired.

11. Llewelyn Rose, 30 y/o - Yr Hen Glwb - Image
Captain and regular starter since World Cup 99.
Your traditional semi god modded striker: captain, best player on the team, good looking and kind of a goofball.

8. Max Tarbutt, 30 y/o - CPD Perthcelyn - Image
Regular starter since World Cup 99.
The weaker of the two wingers. While Siôr often runs at defenders on his own, Max tends to rely on his rightback making overlapping runs.

10. Phoenix Vos, 15 y/o - Amafujisan Wanderers - Image
Bench player since World Cup 101.
Direct descendant of former Warkusian manager and international captain Victor Vos. Young, talented, quick – basically your standard wonderkid. Given that he’s only 15 years old, he’s not the finished product yet. Normally plays as a creative attacking midfielder but will be forced into a striker role from the bench.

24. Alistair Griffiths, 23 y/o - Caer Lloer - Image
Bench player since World Cup 99.
Alistair’s a solid striker, really. He’s just not as good as Llewelyn and Colin. He can be one of those ‘super sub’ players who scores in the last minute, or he can make no impact whatsoever.

46. Oscar Gray, 22 y/o - Saevaroy Town FC - Image
Bench player since Cup of Harmony 91 (post-World Cup 100).
Oscar was initially seen as talented youngster, but not a wonderkid, except he’s been great most of the time’s he’s played. Now he’s seen as the answer to the ‘Who would be a good 1-to-1 substitute for Siôr?’ question. Not as good as Siôr, obviously, but he seems completely unencumbered by the state of the game or the quality of his opponents.

13. George Castle 18 y/o - Eridania Basin - Image
Bench player since Cup of Harmony 92 (post-World Cup 101).
Rapidly established himself as a solid striker for Athletic Llanwern in the first season of the Warkus Premier and attained the honour of being the first Warkusian to accept a contract to play overseas. Probably going to be used as a versatile backup option, since he can play on the wing if needed.

Tactics
The team plays a fluid attacking game which relies on speed and players frequently switching positions. In attack, the full-backs push high and wide to give the wingers space to drift inside while the centre-backs sit a little wider. One of the forwards, typically Colin Emrys, drops deep to play a 'false 9' role (this has, of course, led to debates over whether Warkus really plays a 4-2-3-1 formation instead of a 4-2-4). Both midfielders are expected to be able to play both as a Volante and as a more creative central midfielder. This allows them to swap positions to confuse their opponents, just as the forward wingers and strikers often do. Recently Jack has been issuing less instructions and relying more on player creativity and individual talent. Fans of the team's style say it's exciting, assertive, high risk and high reward football that allows for moments of individual brilliance from players like Llewelyn Rose and Siôr Castell. Critics say that this approach actually amounts to our players running around like headless chickens and only succeeding because the players are just that good, or perhaps because if our players don't know what they're doing then their opponents certainly can't anticipate their future actions!

Atheara plays in a system that was created during the 93rd Cup of Harmony. Die Blaue Garde line-up in a 5-2-3 formation with wingbacks, two midfielders, and a three-man frontline. The aim is to soak up as much offensive pressure from the opposition by maintaining defensive superiority with the back five. It ensures that Die Blaue Garde have a numerical advantage against most teams. The forward wingers will often drop deep into the midfield, transforming Athearas line-up into a 5-4-1 in order to further strengthen their defense or to ensure midfield superiority to ease up pressure on the back five if they are unable to hold. This guarantees Die Blaue Gardes defense stays solid.

On the offense, the wingbacks will move forward into the midfield, transforming Athearas formation into a 3-4-3. The now back three stays high, typically man marking key threats. To ensure the team doesn't get caught off guard on the counterattack, the aim for Die Blaue Garde is to hold possession with the transformed midfield four, eyeing for key weaknesses in the opposition backline before striking. In the scenario that the enemy team is able to find a situation where they can overwhelm the back three, the wingbacks will not move as high, staying close enough to the middle half of the field to run back in case Atheara are overwhelmed or get surprised on the counter. Depending on the situation, they may stay wide to support the two wingers, or drift inward to support the two midfielders from becoming outnumbered.

The Blue Guard wears the kits that were once prepared for them back in the era of The First Republic*.

stadiums
Amahne - Stade sur la Baie (70000) - home to Aminey CS (and the Aminey Caspians, Aminey Buffaloes, and Aminey Owls).
The flagship stadium, huge production values, the works. Azure-coloured seating under canvas roofing. A beautiful circular stadium built in foreign Classical traditions.

Shemurdar - Orange Bowl (54000) - home to Schemerdrecht SVV (and the Schemerdrecht Admirals).
More associated perhaps with the Admirals than the SVV, but it's nearly always sold out venue for great crowds in any sport. A robust, somewhat boring square monster with little attention paid to its external looks.

Maethoru - Rikalathen Arena (39000) - home to Maethoru SC (and Mayara Wanderers-Vulpecula).
Close to the KFA's training grounds, at least it has that going for it. Crowds are a little quieter here than elsewhere. A pristine pitch with seating in a few shades of green matching the field, all seating covered.

Ethuweri - Stade Amandine (30000) - home to Tanques AOE (and the Etouille Vultures).
Some amazing drone shots over a stadium, a city, and a crowd that knows what makes life fun. Extremely sponsor-friendly with its skybox layout, at the cost of the view of some nosebleeds.

Thelesra - Estádio Fortaleza (29000) - home to Miradela GD (and the Santa Teresa Sabres).
Made to be exactly 1000 seats larger than their rivals' stadium, the Fortaleza is the upper-class stadium. They tried to make it look old and well-used with a specific standing-only section, but even there the privilege is palpable.
OR
Thelesra - Estádio Marítimo (26000) - home to Branvon CD.
The working class stadium that is, in all facets, a bit inferior to the Fortaleza. Except the crowds. There's no better stadium for wild crowds. Plenty of standing-only areas, no cover, barely making it through inspections.

Monrama - Armskirk Municipal Ground (26000) - home to Maynard AFC.
The unlucky Maynard team have asked the KFA to have their stadium used by the national team - as the only southwestern stadium. The Armskirk isn't a bad stadium by all means, but some of the creative decisions in seating arrangements haven't paid off.

Katahshi - Suzumebachi Stadium (32700) - home to Katashi-Kanatsu.
The biggest stadium in the east, Katahshi deserves a game. The fans will mostly just cheer for eastern players, though. It's a wonderfully modern and digital stadium - the first with screens going all around the place.

Garihnkatar - Golhampton Grounds (31000) - home to Sydberg Olympia.
Garihnkatar never had a big football culture, but that's changed, and the local Olympia have kept pace with the hype. Biggest city in the country, too. It feels like a much bigger stadium than it is, with plenty of options for later enlargement.

Ehbanna - Northern Arena (32000) - home to university team 'Aevanna Ecologiske Universitet'.
The KFA wants some games geographically spread across the country, and so the cold, dark, and cold gridiron Northern Arena is on the list. The largely roofed stadium is partially dug in to prevent the Arena from dominating the skyline.

Alahrenna - Spider Stadium (27100) - home to Advance Alara.
Eastern but not on the island Katahshi's on. Fans are used to seeing a lot of goals - which the Dragonflies don't do. The stadium has a lot of staggered mini-sections, make of that what you will.

Seterdahn - Hazel Arena (25400) - home to Straudum VV.
Biggest stadium in the northeast, as far as the mainland goes. Straudum's style matches the NT's style perfectly. Propped up by the massive (rich) IT sector. It's still sold out more often than not as one of the better stadium experiences out there.

Gilibehri - Uriagali Field (19500) - home to WSR AFC and Pride of Eaglebury.
Biggest/only stadium on the west coast. Gilibehri has an amazing, flourishing sports culture and it's no longer completely ignored by the other 99% of the country. The stadium boasts an impressive view of the mountains.

This is the depth chart. In the CAFA, we try to select younger players.

goalkeepers
GK Goswijn Naaldemaker (29, M) - North Myrtle Beach AFC, MYR
GK Rizeshejues Sirwirwizufan (16, M) - Silva Stellarum
GK Galorian Antair (25, M) - Maethoru SC

Naaldemaker just makes the cutoff of 30 at 29 years and 10 months of age. He's the gold standard for goalies in Ko-oren, and even with the ascendant Sirwirwizufan waiting in the wings, that's unlikely to change. Still, the 16-year old is one to watch. Fun fact: both Naaldemaker and Sirwirwizufan played at Silva Stellarum in their youth! Antair is a respectable backup after a mediocre year with Maethoru - we know he can do better.

defenders
RB Sissigul Zulambee (26, M) - Straudum VV
CB Charley Mellowby (29, M) - Maynard AFC
CB Keiki Todaka (27, M) - Urrheddiao, CMT
CB Rachel Ngaikhin (17, F) - Straudum VV
LB Theklen Senothonnau (26, F) - Straudum VV

RB Sanche Bassin (26, M) - Gehrenna FC
CB Lei yGorllaeneal (28, M) - Dí Maozöxê, FFD
CB Conrat Loper (27, M) - Serrapince, TMB
CB Wolfart Timmerman (25, M) - Schemerdrecht SVV
LB Dwrwst yBons (26, M) - Schemerdrecht SVV

RB Folkert Nieuwboom (28, M) - New Volendam, KMJ
CB Justaes de Groene (26, M) - Straudum VV
CB Unotak Zhomodhen (25, M) - Miradela GD
CB Joshio Sokeden (23, M) - Katashi-Kanatsu
LB Foibel Thuidhuinun (20, M) - Sterrenwolde FC

Three deep at every position. The starters will include 17-year old Ngaikhin, signed by Straudum, the club with the best eye for young defenders and suppliers of Aminey, Maethoru, and some bigger clubs in Farfadillis, Valanora, and so on. Of course, it's Senothonnau who'll be the biggest draw in this 60% Straudum backline, and Theshendan will ask her to move up the field a lot more in a bid to help out the Ko-orenite midfield and stopping attacks before they develop, and holding down one sideline. Zulambee, on the other side, is a little more defensive and will move to the centre when defending with four. Bassin, Loper, Timmerman are in their mid-20s, quite incredible how quick that went. They all feel far younger than Senothonnau, and yet they're about the same age. yGorllaeneal was having a bad time individually and can use this tournament to bounce back. The third line gets your more northerners (yes, that's 7 out of 15 from just the north) and more Straudum players. Nieuwboom will feel like he deserves to be rated higher. Thuidhuinun would hope to overtake yBons in the list as well.

midfielders
DM Hixinio Andrade (27, M) - Real Anasb, SAT
DM Ngjunei Meigun (24, M) - Chromatik, CMT
CM Annefleur Nakasarudhen (23, F) - Maethoru SC
AM Annemijn Urwegun (20, F) - Sivolvia Capitalizt, SRS

DM Olikek Azerhendhen (27, M) - Raynor City United, VAL
RM Bodim Sauzharegaunden (19, M) - Schemerdrecht SVV
LM Amand Mathey (26, M) - Galaxy SC, XAN
AM Ulmer Suhbugun (25, M) - Sydberg Olympia

RM Theodosia Wawiharushen (18, F) - Sterrenwolde FC
CM Raymond Uheregun (23, M) - Cresthill United FC
CM Bill Kloterehoden (17, M) - Triangle FC
LM Chikage Ljouwezhen (17, F) - Arakura Revelation

Well, we've been more comfortable with our midfield in the past. There's a few standouts in the first unit: Andrade, Nakasarudhen, Urwegun are phenomenal. But the depth... Sure, Azerhendhen is a fantastic defensive mid but sitting behind Meigun and Andrade. Beyond that... Sauzharegaunden and Mathey offer width, Suhbugun is that one attacking sub we could use to score a late goal. The third unit will probably not see the field of play.

attackers
ST Toshitsugu Hiraide (26, M) - Soldarian FC, VAL
ST Alymer Kilhehthen (17, M) - Ekurinna FC
ST Aomoca Aenenolin (28, M) - Knetyohai City FC, CMT
ST Memmandi Pyularra (16, M) - Scientia Tranquillitatis

Hiraide's the one on form and the one to watch for goals. He needs a midfield that can overlap him, so we'll probably see Urwegun in scoring positions too. Kilhehthen and Pyularra are very young and somewhat unproven, but you never know. Aenenolin is probably the most serious backup and better solo, too.

style
We play post-football, a term coined during World Cup 89 to put words to a horrible semifinal between Audioslavia and the Dragonflies, which ended 0-0 after 120 minutes, then all but one penalty was scored in the ensuing series. Post-football means no singing. No cheering. No scoring. Post-football is sideways passes, looking like the same, repetitive movements for minutes on end, but with tiny variations that at some point will get to you. It could be a counterattack, or a shot from distance, or a set piece. Post-football doesn't care if it takes 90 or 120 minutes, or more. Under Juliasterinthen and Davenport, the Ko-orenites earned a reputation as the perfectly positioned, tactical-yet-mean defensive team. Containing, capitalising, exploiting. Patience and countering.

formation
It's usually a 5-4-1. Depending on the opponent, the wingbacks can push up either to bolster the midfield or even overlap and supply crosses into a finisher - if we have one - but they should be fine to sit back and wreak havoc on whatever flighty winger the other team tries to sacrifice. The midfield is often a bit of a loose unit, almost always with a strong passer in the middle but it could be three DMs and a CM, or even a completely lopsided formation with all four players on one side. The lone striker is a reliable finisher. There have been 5-5-0 sightings, for if our strikers just aren't good enough to supply structure and strength to the rest of the side.

CAFA 14 Host Vote

There are two options:
  • Blackstar (The Martian Independent Republic and Sgr A*)
  • Re-open bids

If you’ve entered a team into each of the current and previous CAFA Cups, you are eligible to vote. (So long as you’re not bidding for the tournament yourself)

Please send your vote to PI Democracy Subversion Services Ltd by telegram. Only votes sent to this account by telegram will be accepted.

Voting closes at 23:59 UTC on Friday 10th July.

I give explicit permission to cut this entry for numbers purposes - though it is now a main nation and not a numbers puppet. Basically, as a team that will never be entered in the World Cup, I understand if they need to be kept out to let a WC nation in.

Tactics

James Molloy comes in as manager, and it’s a 4-4-2 that looks set to be deployed. The aim is a more direct style of football, a bit like the Rinaldi days and a contrast to the Adeyemo days. The defence are a fairly flat 4, sitting low and not trying to deploy a high press. In midfield, the centre will be the engine room, aiming to win the ball and distribute it out. The wide midfielders will be expected to do lots if running, particularly in qttack. A front 2 returns, and expect a classic big, tall target man with a pacey agile striker running off the shoulder.

Note:

I'd like to apologize for stopping RPing before the start of CAFA Cup 13 and eventually CTE. I recently decided to come back with a new nation and I will stop using Nova Calania but I thought maybe I could join the CAFA Cup one last time with this nation? I refounded it roughly 10 days after this signup thread was made, so if I'm uneligible, I'll understand.

Also, my players did not age since CAFA Cup 13.

The Aleirave Football Association
Baptism of Fire LXXVIII Champions
Roster for CAFA Cup XIV
Image

OOC: All players in blue are ethnically Klysevian, all players in red are native Aleiravan.

The island nation of Aleirave is a rather small one, with a population of barely 50 thousand, located by a sea they know as the Retakono Me'a, or the sea of mystery. The only islands that were anywhere near them seemed to sink under the sea a couple years back, leaving them as the most isolated nation in the region of Anaia.

The nation of Aleirave was originally founded by Fyodor Tereyev, who was a puteshestvennik (or "traveller") from Klysevia, about 350 years ago. His descendants ruled the island up until the year 2023, when Alexandr Tereyev was shot and killed by a lone gunman in a peaceful protest. Since then, the island has been ruled as an Special Administrative Unit of Eshialand, effectively acting as its own democratic nation within a nation.

Aleirave was officially back. World Cup 101 saw the Sunshine Isle finally make a reappearance in the knockouts, featuring a match against Squornshelous (yes, another) in the group stage where they only lost by one rather than six. With confidence restored and an island that loves their team again, it was time to see where the momentum train would go next.

Nickname: the Seagulls
Trigram: ALR

Image

First international: Audioslavia 4-0 Aleirave (CAFA II)
First win: Aleirave 6-3 Space Laser Dinosaur Robot Pirate Land (CAFA III)
Best win/Most goals for: Aleirave 9-0 South Kerala (WCQ CI)
Worst loss: Squornshelan Remnant States 7-1 Aleirave (WC XCIX)
Most goals against: Eraman 8-5 Aleirave* (WCQ XCI)
Highest-scoring match: Eraman 8-5 Aleirave* (WCQ XCI)

*This result also represents a scorigami, a score that had never occurred in the previous 90 cycles of World Cup competition.

The Old Grounds, Lahaira (capacity: 100).
The Old Grounds are the original home pitch of the Seagulls team, and one that's hosted impromptu football matches for the people of the island ever since time immemorial. Recently a few seats have been installed to help make things more comfortable for attendees, but the original feel of this field remains the same as always: a quaint reminder of island life.

Reko'uho Fekelu Stadium, New Alikonora, Kia'u Special Economic Zone (capacity: 10,000).
In the absence of an Aleiravan population that actually supports their team, drastic measures had to be taken in order to re-establish a home for this team, and that was done by going back to the Kia'u Islands. While the governments of both Eshialand and Aleirave previously had no plans to come back, these plans changed when a new stadium was needed. The Kia'u Islands were off the grid, free from the possibility of news getting back to Aleirave. Now that Aleirave knows about Haulafo's escapades in WC 100, the future of this stadium and whether it'll get used at all is... unsure. This will be explored further in RPs, but for now assume your team will be playing at the Old Grounds.

The Four Kia'u Islands, with the site of Alikonora (where New Alikonora is built next to) indicated. To find these on the map of Anaia, look south of HOT-DAMN.

NOTE: The map of the Kia'u Islands shown in this section was previously used in a World Cup 93 roleplay, do not grade it as if it were new.

Manager: Haulafo PAKA'ULA (M, 64)
Haulafo's career is seemingly safe once again, but now he's entering the point in his career where he wonders where it might all end. He wants to see things through to another success, but what would that success ever look like?

Assistant Manager: Falena RUKIPIATO (F, 38)
It was no secret that Falena's work de facto managing the team at the start of WC101 Qualifying could've gone a lot better. She kept the ship running, sure, but Haulafo coming back right as the team started an 8 match winning streak to rescue them from mid-table was no coincidence — he was just a better manager than her. Luckily, she still has time before he retires to learn as much as she can, and she plans to listen to every word.

RP Permissions
If my opponent roleplays first, they may:
Choose my starting lineup: Yes. The players in bold are the default starting XI, but take these more as suggestions than anything else. Always feel free to mix things up!
Choose my goalscorers: Yes.
Godmod scoring events: Yes.
RP injuries to my players: Please TG me and I'll determine the severity.
Godmod injuries to my players: No.
Hand out yellow cards to my players: Yes.
Hand out red cards to my players: No more than one per match without TGing me about it first.
Godmod other events: Please TG me first, but most likely yes.

If you wanna collaborate on a match, just TG me! I'm open to all collaboration!

Lastly, please don't use pictures in your RP and say they represent my players. Trust me, they probably don't.
All my posts are IC unless I either explicitly say so or they're on NSG.

Sidenote, if I'm posting on NSG, DM me to make sure if I'm alright. Something's probably gone wrong for me.

Younger! Hosting an international football tournament for the first time! Under new old management! With a new formation! Many things can be said about this new(ish) look Spiders squad, but the one that has been said the most is that it's served as a passing of the torch from the first Martian generation to play international football, the people who qualified for WC99, to younger players like Duncan Sato-Gray who were literally 12 when the MIR started competing internationally.
Information
Nickname: The Spiders
Formation: 4-4-2
Colors: Black and rust orange
Manager: Catalina Arran (MIR) [interim]
Captain: Rohan Jowling
Style: -2.618 (-((3+sqrt(5))/2), to be exact)
Good? No, full stop.

Bolded players usually start. Feel free to make a couple changes.

GK - Txomin Lizzaralde - 24 - Confederation Isidis (MIR)
GK - Ambrose Pritchard - 26 - Katzestadt Rovers (KAT)
GK - Edwin Mercurio - 29 - Aeolis United (MIR)

comments on CoH: i mean quarterfinals isn't what we were hoping for but like we didn't get grouped and our being knocked out wasn't really due to a poor defensive performance so Lizzaralde keeps his job. Pritchard, lock in domestically or do something impressive when you have time because otherwise you'll be the forever backup gk. Edwin, why are you here?

DF - Scarlett Fenton - 25 - Australis Eagles (MIR)
DF - Li Cheng - 27 - Combination Milankovic (MIR)
DF - Abir Mohammed - 22 - Sunrise Aeolis (MIR)
DF - JJ Norton - 23 - Sturm Havn (TAX)

DF - Yulia Qiu - 22 - Huygens FC (MIR)
DF - Adarnase Yenukidze - 28 - Combination Milankovic (MIR)
DF - Marianne Zhou - 22 - Centre Catala de Kynetbo (BON)
DF - Miroslav Jovanovic - 21 - Eridania Basin (MIR)

comments on CoH: is it really a changing of the guard when the starting four players were all on the CoH roster? I guess it could be considering nobody on the bench was here last time but still. cheng and mohammed on the sides, Norton and Fenton in the centre, in a formation that is relatively rigid.

MF - Giovanni Caballi - 27 - Sunrise Aeolis (MIR)
MF - Albert Carver - 33 - Sunrise Aeolis (MIR)
MF - Harvey Astor - 29 - Confederation Isidis (MIR)
MF - Duncan Sato-Gray - 21 - Combination Milankovic (MIR)

MF - Adam Panchek - 27 - Tyrrhena Athletic (MIR)
MF - Andrey Ivanov - 25 - Aeolis United (MIR)
MF - Kristyn Zardano - 22 - Aeolis United (MIR)
MF - Nombeko Chase - 28 - Sunrise Aeolis (MIR)

comments on CoH: extremely common tyrrhena l, sucks to be Adam Panchek I guess, although given carver's out after this cycle and Astor has made noises about retiring early who knows there might be hope for him, nombeko chase reference!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1!1 I thought she'd never qualify but it's a pleasant surprise, now she'll get all of 20 minutes of playing time

FW - Rohan Jowling (c) - 35 - Emerald Coast AC (SRS)
FW - Luke Garamond - 29 - Vennesberg United (SGD)

FW - Quinn Taupling - 25 - Confederation Isidis (MIR)
FW - Ana De La Cruz - 19 - Kosmo Lunaris (SGD)

comments on CoH: get out of the way jowling, I know we gave you the fancy captain armband thing but everyone else took the hint and retired, you can still score a lot of goals so i'll cut you some slack but I don't want to see you here for cafa xv. nobody cares what you think, Garamond. ana, please take this experience as an unpaid internship, in the sense that it's for something nebulous called "work experience" that won't matter in the long term and is just wasting your time when you reflect on it. k thx bye.

My opponent, if they RP first, may do the following:
Choose my goalscorers: Yes - individual Martians are generally less likely to score multiple goals in a match, but this isn't a hard-and-fast rule.
Godmod scoring events: Ask first (DM preferred but TGs are also fine)
RP injuries to my players: Yes
Godmod injuries to my players: Ask first (DM preferred but TGs are also fine)
Hand out yellow cards to my players: Yes
Hand out red cards to my players: One's fine, otherwise ask first (DM preferred but TGs are also fine)
Godmod other events: Ask first (DM preferred but TGs are also fine)
If they are writing a lipogram and just played against me, avoid this letter: a
If they, for some reason, find it necessary to represent my players with images, will solely use these: Images made by M. C. Escher

My sincere apologies for taking so long to roster.

With our 16th signup coming from UHL, signups are officially closed.
The first cutoff will be in roughly 32 hours (for Audio's half) and slightly more than that, to the tune of half an hour to 90 minutes later (for my half). The groups have already been drawn under the presumption of UHL signing up and will be edited into the RP thread immediately.
