Riot in Hendriksville (Open, 1990's)

At the end of the table closest to the door, the sergeant took the most damage. His head flew clean off and landed with a thud in the middle of the table.
The two sitting on the sides of the table next to the sergeant also took some damage, bullets slicing into their arms and legs.

But these men were trained soldiers. As one, they threw the table up on it's end then pushed it over onto the Corps. In the Brief period in which the corp scattered to avoid the falling table, the Volken soldiers had taken positions behind their chairs and starting firing into the Corps.

OOC: One, the bolded is godmodding. That means you're controlling my men and the casualities they are taking. Also they're not right next to your men, they're at a distance under cover.

OOC: Ahh, it seems we had a misunderstanding. I was imagining that your soldiers were sitting outside rather than inside. I'll redo my post to show how they entered the bar. And like I said, you can't say he was "unnoticed by the Corps" as that controls them, but you can say that he was in a different location and began firing on my troops.

IC: The Inflated Coffee Bean, Coffee Shop and Lounge, Greater Americania
The large group of volunteers walked into the coffee shop and looked around. Each spread out to separate groups of students, attempting to get a consensus on the level of support for the Communist and Social Democrat causes.

Meanwhile a few blocks away, the students managed to negotiate with a machineshop owner for use of his machineshop over a hundred or two dollars. Working quickly, the students grabbed the large number of metal parts they had obtained from the local hardware store and began working. Welding and bolting parts together, the students were working of a design of a submachine gun they had memorized. It was a cheap gun. Easy to make, yet small enough to conceal in their leather jackets. After their time passed, they finished with their work and went back to their hotels.

They had completed a total of 30 submachine guns. Tomorrow, they would utilize them, but through the night they accessed student chatrooms and forums filled with supporters of the Communists and Social Democrats. Their goal was to build up support and instill the idea that although they would not use them now, weaponry would be necessary, should the fighting escalate.

As the riot continued on the Nationalist Corps took interest and began operations to wipe up the violence. Nationalist Corps platoons began to roam the city shooting at anyone who could be considered a Communist or a Social Democrat. During events such as these, the Nationalist Corps was the only thing effective enough to be considered a source of order in Greater Americania.

Perhaps it was mere bad luck for the Volkswar soldiers in the pub, but as they sat discussing who had to go get everyone else drinks a squad of the Nationalist Corps approached with each man carrying an AK-47. As the squad's commander feasted his eyes on what he perceived as 8 Communist protesters needing to die through the windows of the pub he ordered his men get inside the pub. Owing to his orders, they obeyed. Once they had all entered they fanned out and took cover. They then began to fire upon the Communists.

But these men were trained soldiers. As one, they threw the table up on it's side and scrambled for better cover, protected by the table. The Volken in the best position was the private elected to get the drinks; he'd managed to get cover behind a stone pillar and began shooting into the corps.

As the bullets coming from the Volkswar private who had been assigned to get drinks hailed back, a Corps private was shot three times. One bullet hit him in the right leg, the next in the stomach, and the final in the heart. The private dropped to the ground, doomed to die. Taking notice of the new target, some of the soldiers fired back trying to strike him down. In the meantime, as the Communist soldiers took cover the squad continued to fire upon them.

Whilst crawling along the floor, another Volken took several bullets in the back and one in the head. Another was hit in the leg. With two dead and three dying, the remaining three soldiers, including the lieutenant, felt this was their last hour. The Private behind the pillar was still firing at the Nationalist positions, but had a horrible feeling they were converging on him.
Another Private had managed to find cover behind the bar, but had dropped his gun on the way. The bartender lay dead beside him. He'd brought his hatchet and the communications kit with him, however, and was busy attempting to figure out how to use it when some bullets smashed into the spirit bottles on the back wall of the bar. The alcohol leaked out over the communications kit, rendering useless. But an idea had struck the Private. Crawling to the end of the bar, he lobbed the hatchet at where he believed a nationalist to be , then darted out into the pub, grabbed a pistol from the floor and darted in again. The nationalists may know he was there now, but he had bigger plans.

Meanwhile, the lieutenant had found cover right next to a window. He shot seven pot-shots into the pub, then used the final shot to break the glass. Jumping through and out, he sped off into the dark.

"Well the ANAF bombed our house.(Arivadian Nationalist Airforce).It pledged it's suppourt to Johtson. The ANA is the secert Paramilitary that pledged suppourt to me.It is similar to your Nationalist Corp. When ever you get the time have them Kill Johtson. My 2nd and 3nd kids and my wife were killed by the ANAF.He ordered it.

When the Volkswar soldier lobbed the hatchet, it was simply dodged and the soldiers continued firing at the Volkswarians. As the soldier lobbed out into the open areas of the bar, he was too shot at. The squad was soon enough about to advance and take control of the bar.

"One, I have no control over the Nationalist Corps. I hold influence with the leader, but I'm not the one who calls the shots. Two, I won't use that kind of influence to assassinate foreign politicians. That could get the Party is serious legal trouble. The government is constantly looking for anything to hit us up with. It's more than difficult for the party's legal branch to ward off the prosecuters trying to pin the riots and violence on the NPGA. Have your ANA do it." said Curry.

"Okay." said Curry who then turned and continued watching the TV. By this point alot of the violence had dispersed in the main square where the original speech had taken place and alot of the violence had moved throughout the city. The media was talking about how the police were having trouble containing the violence and how the government was considering sending in the military to assist them. "Great." Curry thought. "Now I'll have to go put down my own source of propaganda...I suppose it'll have to end some time though."

IC: The Volken soldier behind the bar broke off the barrel of his revolver, ripped out the cartridge and snapped off the other bits of metal sticking around the now dissected gun.
Surrounded by spilled alchol and with more pouring down, the Volken raised his fist in the air and a tear slipped down his cheek. He sighed, then pulled the trigger.

A shower of sparks flew out over the spirits, burning the Volken's hand and setting alight to the alcohol. The burning spread around the bar, up the shelves at the back and then caught the Pub itself.

The Nationalist Corpsmen left the bar when they watched the bar erupt in flames. They took up a position on the other sied of the street with their guns aimed at the door so as to shoot down any of the Volkswar soldiers that might be exiting the bar.

Every man in the squad began to fire his weapon at the soldier running out of the store. They wanted to take him out quickly. After all, they had other work to do elsewhere. If they could kill him then they could kill one more Leftist agitator in the city.

When Granger found the bathroom he walked in and found Forta on the floor dead. He ran back to Curry's office.
"Capitian Forta's dead!"
