Also just wanted to comment that the idea that you can coup an exec governored UCR is dumb. Some of you need to read how game mechanics work, if you had done that maybe the former delegate of concord would be the current delegate.

I would say you'll get there next time but, and this is speaking as a legendary fumbler, I think you would be better off playing RBR than NSGP. Cannot begin to emphasize how much better off the regions will be on an objective basis without your leadership if this is how you handle this. Congrats to TL&C for shaking off dead weight.

A substantive update on the efforts and agenda of the Committee to Preserve the Republic.

Good afternoon all,

The Committee to Preserve the Republic wishes to offer a substantive update to our citizens as well as the wider interregional community. While addressing matters of domestic stability is our priority, given the support of our allies we feel it is prudent to reach the broadest audience here.

Since the last statement, the Committee has grown to ten members. It now includes: Quebecshire (Fort Concord), The New Fandom Republic (Southwestern Federal Republic), Council of Feathers, Creeperopolis, New Makasta, Imperial Pittsburgh (Horizon), Paleocacher, Masilia, Zierzo, and Anjan Kloss (Kivu).

Ancillary to the Committee we have identified various citizens who have expressed willingness to increase or return to activity in the interests of helping the government run smoothly. We have reached out to them and thank all who are willing to help the community navigate these trying times.

In our initial statement we stated the citizenry will have the opportunity to provide input on the new Consulate. This remains true, and we will effectuate this by utilizing the existing Council of the Republic to be involved in the selection of new Consuls. We will provide time for citizens to sign up for the Council so this can be done. Expect an internal announcement from the Speaker to this end very soon.

At the suggestion of Imperial Pittsburgh, the Consulate transition from the caretakers will be staggered. Rather than replacing all three caretakers in one sweep, we will put the new Consuls in place as they are selected.

In terms of infrastructure, we would like to thank Merethin from Starlight for providing and hosting an endotarting aid on a temporary basis until we can liaise with our allies in Europeia to restore v1nage. Otherwise, restoring additional infrastructure is a goal we wish to address over the next few days including API recruitment and the Concord Rangers / The League Guardsmen programs.

We will be in contact with supporting militaries in the coming days to discuss our timeline. We note there has been a brief unendorsement campaign against Southwestern Federal Republic in recent days. Throughout this matter we have sought to make ourselves available to our allies, especially in multilateral spaces, to ensure our responsiveness and reliability is unimpacted by these events.

Once again we wish to thank all treatied allies, embassied partners, and otherwise concerned regions for their support both vocally and via military aid.

INAUGURATION OF CHIEF CONSUL IMPERIAL PITTSBURGH AND CONSUL MASILIA

Two new Consuls appointed by caretaker authorities based on Committee recommendations and Council assent.

Good morning,

The Committee to Preserve the Republic, empowered by the incumbent Consulate, is excited to announce that we have, with the feedback and assent of the regional Council, chosen the two newest members of the Consulate of the Republic, our first steps in formally ending the caretaker period.

First, Imperial Pittsburgh (Concord: OnTheHorizon) is our new Chief Consul of the Republic. Horizon has served as Director of Foreign Affairs for nearly two years, the longest serving in the regions' history, and recently become an avid recruiter in the regions. He has developed a cohesive understanding of gameplay throughout his tenure, always showing a willingness to learn, ever-socializing and enhancing the region's presence abroad. This, combined with an increased internal presence, makes Horizon a strong candidate to be the face of the regions and the Consulate in the aftermath of our recent crisis. Please congratulate Imperial Pittsburgh / OnTheHorizon on his ascension to the region's highest chamber, as its Chief.

Second, Masilia (The League: Visiania steps into the role of Consul of the Republic. A Concordian native who came to prominence via Concord's gameside community as the developer of its map, Masilia has developed a strong and respected presence amongst both Concord's gameside population and the wider community. Since becoming prominent in government, they have overseen much of the recruitment program and undertaken endorsement cap enforcement in Concord under Founder supervision. Masilia's resume speaks for itself, he is undoubtedly qualified for this role given his reliable and diligent internal presence, but we enjoy the added benefit of his Concordian roots and gameside activity in the aftermath of an unlawful unendorsement effort against Concord's WA Delegate. Please congratulate Masilia / Visiania on their ascension to the Consulate.

Both new Consuls are invited to issue their own remarks to the citizenry or otherwise and an additional update will be issued upon the selection of the third Consul.

I would be remiss to not note and thank Creeperopolis and Council of Feathers for their service as caretaker members of the Consulate. Their presence was invaluable in both effectuating and legitimizing these steps forward. We conclude with this amusing note: Creeperopolis and Council of Feathers have both served on the Consulate twice, with combined tenures of 1,023 days for Creeperopolis (2021-24, 2026), and 13 for Council of Feathers (2018, 2026).
