There is absolutely no way this goes wrong.

Alternatively: does this Super Bowl performance count as a Vegas residency? Because that opens a lot of options for performers.

The answer is yes, of course they are. They have the means to let you pick only the teams you want to see on a subscription basis but no, I have to pay for 28 other teams too.

The low-visibility patches cancel out removing the drop shadow, so for now I'll call it a wash until we get some decent pics.

Also, it's the Rams' turn for "there, now was that really so fucking hard?"

I have to agree with a lot of the comments I've seen, keeping the gold outline for the helmet logo while eliminating it from the numbers makes it feel disjointed, especially if they're going to mix that purple and gold alternate helmet with the standard set like in that one pic. Overall I'd say it's a downgrade.

I myself would've liked to see more of the iridescent trim than just the numbers, sure it maybe a little gimmicky but ravens ARE an iridescent bird

I'm a little late on this. Taking care of a kid is quite a lot of work, but the bonding makes it so worth it.

I am sad to inform everyone here that Jerzylvania passed away on March 29th. He was survived by his daughter, who informed me of his passing. I do not know the circumstances of his death as that is a private matter for his family and must be respected.

I want to take this moment to dedicate his time in this thread. He was quite football savvy and has won a couple of the pick'em leagues. Sure, if he did every year, he would at least finish in the top three, if not the top two for the most part. Always had some kind of story to tell, especially from the past where he knew quite a bit on football and the games biggest moments.

I remember when I first started talking to Jerzy. That was 7 or 8 years ago and since that time, we became good friends. From sports to politics to family, he and I always had genuine conversations. Through those talks, I've learned so much and it helped shaped me partly for who I am today. He was always blunt but honest. Knowledgeable and knowing.

May he rest in peace. He will be missed.

It's a shame we can't do a GoFundMe to help with funeral expenses or something. Especially since most of us don't know him that well.

That’s so sad. Jerzy was definitely one of the most dedicated football fans I’ve ever met, certainly the most dedicated when it came to the Ravens. Not to mention he was one of the first group of NSers I got to know as I joined Picks League. Eternal rest onto him, and he will certainly be missed.

I knew Jerzy for more than 10 years, which is also as long as I've been posting on this forum. We had a friendship based on mutual respect. When I talked to him, I felt like I was talking to someone who shared a lot of my beliefs and interests. One of my favorite things that we did was throw around little music references on the forum. Other people may not have seen it, but sometimes when we were responding to each other, we were quoting lyrics. It was hilarious. I'll miss that.

I'll also miss his passion for the picks league. He was way more into it that I ever was, which I always found hilarious given that I was running the thing. He watched the picks league like a hawk, which I'm thankful for, because he caught many of my mistakes over the years. He had a lot of pride in how well he did in the league. He "retired" after the first year, but then started participating most years under various puppet nations. I wish I could've told him he didn't need to do it like that- we all knew he was good, and it wouldn't have hurt his reputation if he had a bad year every once in a while. And even then, he never had a bad year.

He was very knowledgeable about football, and especially the Ravens. He brought to the table a deep historical knowledge of the game, way beyond what most of us here know, and he also brought very nuanced, complicated takes that were always original and never something he heard from some media talking head. I always looked forward to his yearly diatribe about the Colts moving away from Baltimore. His posts were always some of the most substantial on this forum, and it's posts like that which make forums worth coming to over other mediums, where the football commentary is much less substantial. The NFL thread will miss that greatly.

Rest in peace Jerzy.

I always enjoyed our back-and-forth banter from the old days, with him railing me about my love for the Patriots. It is a shame to hear of his passing as he will be genuinely missed. My condolences to his daughters and family as well. If I know one thing, in this moment, the Football Gods will have given him his rightful place amongst them. Rest easy, Jerzy.
