Whether you hate them or not is entirely irrelevant. By promoting the idea that a intricate part of who they are, how they love, whom they desire to be with is somehow "harmful" has consequences on the well being of millions of people.
Moral panic around homosexuality has led to MILLIONS of deaths.
And? (I've decided to not engage with this debate due to its controversial nature)

God intervenes on behalf of the infertile in the Bible, such as with Abraham and Sarah.
The main rigid constraint there in Catholicism, at least, is that sexual acts must be open to life in that there is no attempt on the part of the husband and wife to stop pregnancy from occurring.

See, the first bit didn't happen and the second bit spreads disease and poverty and is a bad idea. We should live our lives in the real world.

I mean, I guess children could spread disease, but I don't think that should be a primary consideration when deciding if to try for a child, if you are willing to vaccinate your child and provide them with the medical treatment and clinical visits necessary for them to ensure a healthy life.

1. Which is like arguing against universal healthcare because Jesus healed a few sick people 2 millenia ago and sometimes people's cancer goes into remission.
2. Which is an internally inconsistent standard, since if one or both of those partners are infertile, then definitionally speaking, "the sexual act is closed to life", and they are acting in a manner to stop pregnancy from occurring.
