Tumbran Host Bid for the 42nd Campionato Esportiva

This is a relatively standard bid, with little to no frills, bells or whistles. Except that maybe visiting teams can have a lot more tickets allocated to them.

Format
We're currently at 30 (28 + 2 puppets). Formats I am comfortable running with, with 32 and 40 preferred (latter to be very unlikely):

32: 8 groups of 4; group winners and runners-up (16) proceed to knockouts. 7 cutoffs total.
35: 7 groups of 5; group winners and runners-up (14) + 2 best third-placed teams proceed to knockouts. 8 cutoffs total.
36: 6 groups of 6; group winners and runners-up (12) + 4 best third-placed teams proceed to knockouts. 9 cutoffs total.
40: 8 groups of 5; group winners and runners-up (16) proceed to knockouts. 8 cutoffs total.

In a 35 and 36-team format the brackets will be re-seeded, so that 1 v 16, 2 v 15, etc., with group stage rematch protection. 32 and 40-team formats will see A1vD2, etc. Puppets will be dropped in favour of mains in case of a conflict.

Scorinator
NSFS (in xkoranate), Additive mods, Home advantage off. Maxrank set at current highest rank any team has gotten. Tumbra will endeavour, to the best of their ability, to find a third-party scorinator for every match they're in. One style mod change [-5 to 5] permitted per team as long as it's roleplayed.

Tiebreakers go Points > GD > H2H > H2H GD > IC coin flip (OOC simulated game with draws off).

Schedule
Nothing until the new year passes (which is likely with additional bids + voting taking an extra week), but I will give people at least a week to post rosters and initial roleplays before we begin. 48 hours per cutoff, cutoff window likely to be at 11-12 midnight Singapore time (3-4pm UTC). Due to RL happenings I will likely be unable to offer an extra day's break between the group stages and knockouts.

3PPO and Final will be scored on the same day.

RP bonus
Will likely be generous. Up to double one MD's bonus for a roster posted before Matchday 1; capped at one MD's bonus after. Things I prize in roleplays (though should by no means be taken as the gospel): Ones that interact with other players’ roleplays/established worldbuilding, or at least show that you’ve read or respected other people’s RP permissions. Roleplays that also show good etiquette are a plus. Roleplays do not need to be too long, either.

The RP permission “Choose my scorers = N” will not be enforced unless there is a valid IC reason, preferably highlighted within your roster.

Plagiarism, if detected, will see the RP bonus for the window set to 0. AI-generated text, if detected, will also see the RP bonus for that particular window set to 0, or, if particularly egregious, an entire reset. AI-generated graphics are...okay...just acknowledge them. RPs engaging in egregiously adult topics breaking the rules of the forum will be reported to Moderation.

RP Prompts will be provided for at least the group stages. They do not have to be followed.
