Less than a million a piece from billionaires? Do they even want to win this shit?

Six billionaires have contributed $1 million or more, with most of it going to Cuomo's Fix The City PAC. Bloomberg tops the list with over $8 million.

I'm gonna guess that Mamdani wins the NY City mayoral race with about 45% of the vote. Would be closer to 60% if Cuomo ever learned to take "No" for an answer.

San Francisco has fallen to the techbros. The time to challenge Pelosi from the left may have passed. Her replacement as the Rep of San Francisco is gonna be milquetoast at best.

Right now it is too early to tell. San Francisco may surprise us by pushing a progressive into the seat much like how we are seeing Mamdani on course to win NY City's mayorship.

I really think the Democratic leadership should take Mamdani winning as a sign of where the rank and file, especially, in more liberal cities, are heading politically.

I don't think they will, though.

In other news, Karl Rove is predicting that Republicans will win the NJ governor's seat and Virginia's AG seat

I have to admit that I didn't even know he was still alive. Thought he had died a few years ago.

Edit: Ah, had him confused with Rumsfeld.

Polling is fairly close on both of those, so I personally wouldn't preemptively scream about electoral fraud.

It's a terrible shame, but we had to make Cheney DOS for his stubborn refusal to observe the most basic commandment of NSG: don't be a Dick.
