If the Brewers had won the NLCS, I wouldn’t care either way, but it seems that every World Series has to have a bad guy for me for the past few years and most of the time they succeed.

However, what I WILL be positive about is the players. My hatred for the Dodgers is for the franchise, not for the players. I love Shohei, I love Yoshinobu, I love Freddie, that’s great. They deserve to win World Series. World Series’s? World Serieses? Whatever.

My grudge is not with them, but with whom they represent. The Dodgers are soulless and represent the concept (sadly proving to be true) that money is more important than effort and developing talent authentically. The Dodgers are ‘money is the root of all evil’ case in point.

Likewise, my grudge with the Yankees is not with their players, but the franchise. For them it’s not about greed or being too rich but (from my perspective) being pretentious and stuck-up. And even if you got rid of all that, you would never hear the end of it from the fanbase if they won another World Series. They still never stop talking about ‘27 rings’
