Starlight - Post September 2025 Election Update

We’ve just wrapped up our latest round of elections in Starlight. This election cycle brought incredibly high participation, easily surpassing previous records.

This election was by far the most hotly contested we’ve seen. The race for Aetherion featured five candidates: Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Merethin, Deputy Minister of Integration & Former Aetherion Spaceship Earth, Minister of WA Affairs Excidium Planetis, Starborn Untecna, and Starborn Pirzdavor. Meanwhile, the contest for Flamewarden was between incumbent Flamewarden Kaidan, Deputy Minister of Communications Alainian Federation, and Minister of Integration Dogeland.

When all was said and done, Merethin and Kaidan emerged victorious, and I want to extend my congratulations to both of them on their well-deserved wins. A big thanks as well to all candidates for making this election season such a success, and to all the Starborn for making this our best election yet! Reactions to the results announcement were incredibly positive, with many Starborn excited for the coming term. Rocket Bot Royale patriots, stand back and stand by, and I sincerely look forward to seeing what we can accomplish this term. The future is as bright as ever for Starlight.

Liberation of Liberty Islands - Major 2025-09-23

After months of inactivity and a few tag runs that fizzled out after 15 minutes in, the might of Raiderdom was once again on display.They assembled in Liberty Islands and yet they that didn’t even break 100 pilers. All in all, the hold didn’t even last a full update, so one might call it a return to form for The Black Hawks and the rest of Raiderdom! ^.^

The Galactic Armada of Starlight was proud to stand alongside our Libcord comrades in this fight and contributed a grand total of 19 updaters, our highest number ever and the second highest of any organization involved.

The might of the stars will continue to shine whenever and wherever darkness rises again!

Something Happened Again - Minor 2025-09-23

Not even two days after yet another record breaking liberation where Libcord dismantled Raiderdom, a group of noob raiders saw that performance and thought, "Hey, I want some of that too." They amassed a massive 1 endorsement hold in Newlandia, claiming to be restoring a frontier. They even contacted Starlight's delegate ahead of time to let us know about the raid; how courteous of them. ^.^

Needless to say, the hold fell quickly, and light continues to prevail over darkness across NationStates. 12 Starlight updaters showed up, making us the #1 org by turnout today!
