In 1918, a wealthy Italian immigrant bought a huge estate on the outskirts of Escona. Henry Tomasino I was a famous chef and connoisseur of wine back in Florence, and hoped to turn his new estate into a restaurant and winery. After a few years and a few harvests, Tomasino Manor Winery had a wine cellar filled with aging wines.
It was time to look towards his next venture, opening up the first world-class restaurant. Henry spent one year traveling Cyprentana and Italy searching for the best combinations of flavors and ingredients. The next summer, Henry opened up his first restaurant, La Vigneto.
Time passed and soon Henry’s son Henry II took over the winery. Under his leadership the winery started producing large amounts of aged wine. Critics from all over the world came to visit the restaurant and the winery. Tomasino Manor Winery got great reviews and was featured in global food and wine magazines.
After a few more years of success, Henry II took over the winery. He opened up a new restaurant in downtown Lyricion, in The Imperial hotel, and called it L’Imperatore. It was a Japanese-Italian fusion restaurant, which was perfectly suited for the flashy downtown nightlife.
But the company is going for bigger, and better. It wants to open up restaurants from all of its chains worldwide.
To give you the best quality ingrediants, foods and drinks, Tomasino Manor Restaurants and Estate Winery is proud to import from these fine companies.
