Ok, I have to ask because it seems to me that you are interpreting the term “summie” way differently than the term I know.
The Summie title is given to those posters who join on the summer school break. They tend to be young, and is prone to spam. What exactly is a summie to you?
Anyone else is welcome to answer this.

in the words of reva-
"A summie is someone who:
1. Does not have extensive and/or unique enough (that is to say, does not consist of a high enough portion of their own writing) lore.
2. Resides nearly exclusively in game or fluff threads, and cannot muster a high-effort answer to save their life on the rare occasions they go to a lore or lore-adjacent thread.
An example of what I consider to be the borderline for 1 would be Owonyaania (in terms of extensiveness). It should also be noted that expansions of existing published work count as unique, as well as alt-timeline/future IRL nations... to a point (WashCo is unique, Grandocantorica is not).
Because many F7 pillars surpass 1 but not 2 (WashCo, Simonia, Libriano, etc), the primary mechanism of Mors Aestatis is the revival of lore threads, eventually filling F7, that will compel them to effortpost."
this is what i, and id say most others on F7, would mostly see a summie as.

- Summies: the base standard for all following. Single sentence or shorter posts with very basic and little thought behind them. Examples: the usual summer wave.
- Coalposters: Rock bottom summies. Single word posts, rarely more, with no hope to ever redeem themselves in the eyes of the community. See Unmet.
- Peatposters: Older summies, usually around a year or older. Similar post quality to their younger brethren, just a prolonged version. There aren’t many that come to mind, but possible TGEG and others.
- Fungusposters: I’m actually not quite sure myself.

tgeg is a peatposter.
fungusposters is basically a nonsense word. i forget who purposed it, but i think it was cypt who shot it down? i forget. it was a synonym to coal posters though.
another other important term would be
Old Guard: refers to the group of players that took place in Val Z's 2020 factbook contest, and are still active. they are seen as pillars of the effortposting community, and are generally most active on lore threads and cliches. examples would be, Sauce and HFoS.

The year is 2540 and the solar system is split between many nations fighting for it. One is fighting for freedom and the other for power. Both have fought hundreds of wars and battles between eachother.
Now with a new rebellion and the Union of Stars shaken, the future of thesolar sytem is uncertain.

i haven't heard anyone refer to the old guard in a bit though, not since the death of Reva and the emergence of SarSic.

I haven't used Old Guard in that sense ever. I used it to refer to people who generally took it upon themselves as some of moral crusade to personally vanquish and attack every single summie. There's probably different meanings, but I found that to be a common characteristic of those who I considered the Old Guard.
I.S.N.: Memorial services held for Saelmstica, QaBaZ, Arelont, Arzastan, Catalyst Order, Chronica de Terrae, Jolthig, Repreteop, Ireleand, Kanshitamahide, Khardsland, Great Sabatonia, Timlandian Federation, Asukalia, Yektov, Kingdom of Castille, Engerholl

Albeit rarely, when I do use the term, I use it in a similar sense. The distinction is mostly negligible, anyway, I find, given the over-lap between the two respective clusters included within each definition.

You know im trying to basically become an old gaurd. Is it going to happen, probably not. But my lore is getting better and ive been bumbing up the effort in my posts. So I can dream.
Also I would like to say sorry for being incredibly annoying earlier.

I consider you a member of the Old Guard, but maybe not necessarily an effortposter. I don't generally read your posts though.
