Yeah, the cutoff date was sometime in 2003, I think. That was before NS could record founding dates and all that, and the title is also used if a nation's founding data appears to have been lost in some way. Broken nations (which apparently should not be an issue anymore) that weren't able to have their founding data recorded will also have the title of "Antiquity."

Also, I find it interesting that the whole broken nation dilemma was (or at least I'm assuming it was) was solved just a year before the anniversary of behind_the_sofa's existence. That whole thing happened a year ago today, I remember all the commotion on the forums surrounding it.
