Attempting to reason with MAGA is an exercise in futility, however one thing I have noticed is that the right wing across Western nations view our planet as zero sum. Honestly I don't think Trump or Orban or any of the other far Right leaders could care less about gay people. But their support base does, and they've based their entire appeal around exploiting ignorance and fear to invoke an emotional response. Right wing populism feeds on outrage. The movement dies if there ceases to be an "other" to demonize to distract the mob from the fact dear leader has done nothing to address their quality of life and other bread and butter issues. The Trumps and Orbans of the world are too narcissistic and devoid of principles to be for or against gay rights. They're just stoking the fire that keep their power (and wealth) moving.

Oh they are entirely seperate issues; my concerns don’t lay with the LGBT going after kids or something like that mate.
I just know the shit I got up to as a kid, how bad the internet is and think it’s negligent parenting not to actively monitor your child’s online presence.

I understand the issue it potentially creates regarding children not being supported by their parents effectively outing them,
However I don’t know what the perfect soloution is here,
I just know unmonitored internet access isn’t it and the damage that does is far greater both in frequency and severity.

Orban is a considerably dubious leader in the alliance within Europe. I thought he was throwing out false dichotomies for what economic benefits Hungary will gain from actioning the lawmaking.
