Expectations: After last year's drop in form and the exit of Manager Foron Dosouni this club is in a precarious position. Alessander Tancisse was an assistant to Dosouni for a long time but there's a general consensus that he does not have the tenacity and strong will of his predecessor. Thankfully the continuity is still there with the same starting xi but there is certainly unease. Valdestoa-Glousie has indicated to the club that they might need to get a replacement soon at the right wing position. The pieces of those great teams back in season 3 and 4 are still here but you can't help but feel like something is missing without Dosouni. Hopefully they do not take a big step back and still contend for top 4.

Expectations: Last season was not the best ever for the Lions but it did reveal a couple of things for Manager Albernde De Vitillier. De Vitillier said in the preseason: "I think our greatest strength right now is the defense. In our victories last season we managed to outlast our opponents. I expect some of the same this season." Is it enough to get into the top 4? Possibly. The starting xi is still young and have always had the quality to go at it with the big boys in Lige 1. It also helps that De Vitillier is very a disciplined manager but besides season 1 they haven't been able to capture a top 4 position even though they are always hanging in there until the last matchdays. If there was any season to do it...

Expectations: Surviving probably the worst manager of the league last season was no easy feat. Stevens, Collins, and Audac for sure saved this team from certain doom. Unfortunately Montgoy Stevens is gone and they have a young new manager who had managed Alexia Academie for a long time. Does that give the fanbase pause? Not exactly and this is why: Alexia Academie had produced very good talent (some that have gone abroad) and it is thanks to Thausdalthe. Will that translate to Lige 1 is another question entirely but for a younger team like Alexia it could be the right decision. A lot of the starters are expected to make a leap in quality this season and with the resources at Alexia's disposal...don't be so surprised if they get close to top 4.

Expectations: Would it shock anybody if it was said that most think this club can compete for the title? All kidding aside last season's start was completely inexcusable. Near the relegation spots until mid-season was either an incredible troll job by the club or they just did not come to play. That will not suffice and Manager Louis Valerie's seat is a bit warm this season as a result. The pieces are here, the front 3 are as good as you can get, the midfield can dominate games for extremely long periods of time, the defense has been incredibly solid, but the start of the season seems to be this club's nemesis. Even Shelli Leslie had to comment on it: "I think we have been extremely poor when it comes to starting these campaigns. Very inexcusable for everyone involved, not just the coaches, not just the players, everyone."

Expectations: Last season's mid-table performance is most likely going to continue into this season. Živić started to turn up his performances and the midfield is capable but then the defense lost Bergin Chauvois-Peresissen. Expect a regression in the defense unless Edrick Mensbard becomes as good as his predecessor. Richter Maiboldt however seems keen on another fate for this club: "It's possible we could be top half, we have the talent.". While no one doubts Maiboldt's summary what people do doubt is their manager. Thierry Vaulisse's tactics could be surmised as schizophrenic at best and outright incompetent at worse. There's a non-zero chance he gets fired this season.

Expectations: This club is a very consistent top 4 threat with a great overall roster with a very competent coach. Mirdeau-Piguenit has worked out tremendously well, the defense for the first time in a long time looks really good and while the midfield is missing Darrick Lenedeont his replacement is not bad either. There is a bit of a fear that the midfield will regress but that doesn't seem to affect manager Vala Reocharde in the slightest: "I think Fasaire will do well in place of Darrick. We have been delighted to get him acclimated to the first team". This sounds all well and good if you are a Pontmeosont fan but there is an elephant in the room: When will they EVER WIN THE TITLE? Constant choking at the last matchdays are starting to draw the ire of the fanbase and while Reocharde's job is not on the line it is only a matter of time...

Expectations: After last season's surprising 6th place Ostrogia Arca is looking to keep the momentum. The talents of Teneseille and Bastellex along with an experienced midfield will prove tough to beat but will be beaten all the same. They will be top half of the table but that defense is looking a bit out of sorts. While they are experienced defenders with age goes their physicality and speed. It would be up to Edrie Monfils to make sure they stay organized. This is not their season but if they find a couple of good talents for their aging defense...we'll see.

Expectations: New manager Basileux Marise said it perfectly: "We are in for adversity this season, I think we have good talent of course but the connection within the locker room isn't quite there. I think that will hinder us in the long run if we cannot fix it". Just because he said it perfectly doesn't mean he should have said it though. There are rumors the locker room was not happy when Basileux said that and it may already sink Chagris NF at a point where they need stability. At the very least Mordvinov has shown her talent but they need a lot more in order to right the ship.

Expectations: Stability should be the goal for VS Frisia this season. There isn't much in the way of danger as they do have the quality to be a mid-table side but there is a lack of improvement from the roster. Thankfully they have a good front 3 that can bang in goals but that midfield is in need of help. Abarrous and Entrecht are not great starters and can sometimes be barely serviceable as well. It's possible this club will scour the academies for their replacements and build from there. Manager Aden Chercheroux is also rumored to be very skeptical of Bergskauld Chiedt's ability as he is aging. While it is a rumor it would not surprise anybody to see Mr. Chiedt gone from VS Frisia this time next year.

Expectations: A few new faces in the starting lineup for Noechatel show a bit of progress albeit, slow and glacially-paced. Cameron Gilsbard and Berstad Midrotze are expected to be passable starters for Noechatel from the offset. It is expected that Manager Brescon Gendoux-Perela will find replacements for a restless Nolen Frassen and the aging Samante Beretischen as well. Frassen himself told reporters that he had "great difficulty" last season getting along with Gendoux-Perela. This did not go over well with Gendoux-Perela as he told reporters afterwards "I think it is unprofessional to air out internal issues and he should know better". Already a great start for sure.

Expectations: So on one hand they managed to updgrade Aupalice to a 40000 capacity venue and are having their best run as a club in a long time. On the other hand momentum is important and it felt like they lost a bit of that last season after some poor results. The talent is still there but the belief may not be. It all comes down to their manager Elbraud Anselloux. The man was on top of the world two years ago and now it seems like either he has lost the locker room or lost some of his tactical sharpness. Thankfully the starters are still very competitive with the rest of the league and they do not have to be concerned with IFCF play. If there is a repeat of last year's underwhelming results Anselloux's seat would be incredibly hot to start next year.

Expectations: A mid-table finish for this club last year is an incredibly positive sign for sure. Now can Prus Ostrogia capitalize on it? Maybe not to a top 4 finish but progress is expected at least. Branoc Du Gouey has developed nicely alongside Astarie and Baltaire-Charis. If anything is going to hold this club back it is the midfield. There is just something abouthow Lackadasical Avantes and Gentollin can be sometimes that results in lack of possession and dangerous counter-attacks. Either they improve on that facet of their game of they can say goodbye go their prospects of playing in Lige 1.

Expectations: Another top-half finish. No seriously this club has done all the right things so far after their first relegation. Lark and Lithau have been a pretty good pairing thus far and will probably continue to do well. The loss of Hourisse Lemand-Lauswitz does hurt a bit and hopefully Theralcer Auroles ends up being just as good. The defense needs to improve for this club to go any further of course but for a club that was relegated early on in Lige 1's life they could be doing a lot worse.

Expectations: Top 4 contention is the idea for this season. Since Zmajevic is back in Mytanija Angevines took a standout defender from the lower leagues in Aregnac-Tignon, hopefully shoring up the center of the defense for a good amount of time. The younger players in Flacher, Dubois, and Itaichaugle are expected to progress this season along with a good mix of veterans like Norie Jertaux and Sen Aix-Chaglau. Dubois in particular is of great intrigue considering the stand out season he had last season. Not to mention the young striker is partnered with a savvy veteran winger up front along with the expectation that the midfield will be stronger this season. It looks like a prime opportunity for this club.

Expectations: Not as depressingly bad this season. Mcgrady has been benched in favor of a young striker named Genevaire Le Mithiguet. Caiser Marchoux's job is most likely on the line this season. Progress needs to occur and fast. Last season was disgraceful and almost led to a shameful relegation. Thankfully Maria Ajdis and Karst-Jan Witzes are pinned to be stand-out performers this season but they need to develop this new core and to do it fast. Still lower end of the table most likely.

Expectations: Now that they have given their best punch last season we will see if they can weather the relegation fight to come. Losing Arick La Ponte and Claude Mogie-Bernet would be devastating to most teams in their position. Now they have to live with having to develop younger talent due to their Basonia only recruitment policy. Now to be honest if they do survive this season the next one will be very interesting. Manager Mostellponte is excited for their younger defenders who had a taste of Lige 1 football and delivered. Seems to think that with more exposure to Lige 1 they could adjust and become an excellent unit.

Expectations: This club should have never been relegated and it should not have taken a miracle to get this club back to Lige 1. Regardless they are here and do still have a bit of quality in the squad. New facees include Iliac Verdrogna and Ercou Terense. Both of whom were pivotal in their Lige 2 campaign alongside surprisingly loyal and talented Lise Berger and Italcer Aman-De Carontousse. The manager who guided this lost but not forgotten group of players is Caspard Stechtoffel, a hardened and disciplined coach who is demanding from the offset. Hopefully he does not wear out this group.

Expectations: After a historic double last season Eolorent look to do more of the same. No changes to the starting XI but they have been poaching some lower division teams for depth which could help them not only achieve a second title but also a second double. The Defense is solid as always and the attack is clinical but the main stars of the show are the midfielders. Dominating possession like it is nobody's business and looking very good while doing so. Louis D'Aupalicee and Nichomachus Hansson in particular love to play in big games so do not be surprised to see their names in such fixtures. Leiron Louprenne showed he could hang in Lige 1 and seems to excel in his role of supporting striker for Denise Auburn.

If they can find the right pieces around Perin Caupet after this season we could be talking about De Guirre as an upper table sort of team (and yes, Perin Caupet is that good just look at how he performed in Tasse Du Auprussia). It is up to the players around Caupet to step up this season.

Expectations: Surprisingly solid throughout last season with players you would think would not be able to get to this level but here we are. Laurense Thiereau is an interesting player to follow during this season and it would not be so surprising if they survive relegation. That is still a huge task considering where this club stands in Lige 1 but they have the right manager for the job. Charles Trugiac is a respectable manager even at this level and will have this club organized and ready to go.
