THE SECURITY COUNCIL:

HAVING REGARD to the following paragraphs:

• §1: A Moment of Clarity: From time to time, Liberations are imposed upon regions in the hope that they will prevent raider Delegates and their Regional Officers from passwording them en route to refounding and destroying them, only for those regions to be annihilated regardless, their native spark having fizzled out. Unfortunately, Eclipsis is one such region. Its Liberation is therefore in desperate, perhaps even urgent, need of repeal. It offers a false promise - a promise that Eclipsis remains open; that it may one day be saved from its captors. Yet it is now under the indefinite control of those that, in actual fact, did do it immense harm.
  
  
• §2: Sunsetting Liberations: The belief that repeals of those Liberations described in §1 are themselves unnecessary and clog up the Security Council is proving increasingly popular. Yet in reality, this body has historically not hesitated to see such resolutions in a new light: it has acted to strike down the Liberations of Wonderful Paradise (via SC#66), Free Thought (via SC#69), Nationalist Union (via SC#106), Land of the Liberals (via SC#115), Region of reunited muslim states (via SC#117), Alliance Against Nazis (via SC#199), The Place that has No Big Banks (via SC#204), Dank memes (via SC#238), Femdom Empire (via SC#250), Politics Amino (via SC#280), and Yessssss (via SC#476) after their respective refounds.
  
  
• §3: The Stormclouds Gather: Eclipsis was founded by Lunarvi - later its WA Delegate and foremost native - in December 2023. The region existed peacefully until April 7th 2024, when The Brotherhood of Malice, in consort with The Black Hawks, Osiris and Sparkalia, opportunistically seized control. Two invaders are of particular note: North Nebula (a vassal of New Sunville) planned the occupation; while Asunnia (a vassal of Valtarre) wielded around 165 endorsements for its duration - an order of magnitude more than Lunarvi normally had - becoming the world's 16th-most-powerful Delegate.
  
  
• §4: Battle by Candlelight: Contrary to widespread belief, Eclipsis was never completely abandoned. The defenders of innocent regions worldwide shone their lights on Eclipsis while it was shrouded by the fog of war, in the hopes that they could save it from raider capture as they had done with Sunland the year before. No less than 70 troops from The Order of the Grey Wardens, The South Pacific, The League and Concord, Europeia, The Rejected Realms, 10000 Islands, The North Pacific, The West Pacific, and elsewhere also sought to defeat the occupation by military force at an early stage, but were thwarted by sheer lack of numbers.
  
  
• §5: Midnight in Eclipsis: Those seeking to save Eclipsis from being overshadowed by raiders were further beset by the circumstances of its ruin. Asunnia had resided there for only two fewer weeks than Lunarvi, thus accruing sufficient influence to wreak immediate damage on the region. Declarations of dubious necessity on raiding itself and slavery were pushed by Evermoria and Japuile, in advance of the takeover and in anticipation of any liberation efforts. Then, one week after the occupation began, the lights suddenly went out worldwide - an inexplicable development beyond any national leader's control; one with a similar scope to, and an even greater duration than, the tragedy described in SC#426 "The Holiday Apocalypse;" and one which made any practical resistance inviable for the following 13 days. Eclipsis' Liberation was, at one time, perhaps the world's best hope of preventing its destruction; by May 2nd, twelve hours after going to vote, it had metamorphosed into a vain petition of no effect, the region laid to waste.
  
  
• §6: The Morning After: Lunarvi neither desires to return to Eclipsis nor is able to do so; yet since their innocent homeland was subjugated, they have lit the spark of a new Frontier community in Arborhaven, where they once again serve as Founder and Delegate. They supported an initial attempt to repeal the Liberation in October 2024, which was defeated by 6,233 votes to 4,931. They have also lent their support to this attempt. It would be unnecessarily cruel, and an unprecedented betrayal of the Security Council's usual deference to innocent natives, to deny them - the first and last known native leader of Eclipsis - the opportunity to determine the fate of its Liberation for a second time in short order.

CONCLUDING that Eclipsis should not remain Liberated, as the Liberation serves no use and the region's foremost native wishes for its repeal:

HEREBY REPEALS SC#501 "Liberate Eclipsis."

Admiring the decision of Kanta Hame to join the Ten-thousand Islands Treaty Organization (TITO) in December 2012, where it began a long career in military service. Kanta Hame would eventually be designated as a Knight of TITO in June 2015, an honor only bestowed to nations which exhibit dedication to XKI and its military interests across at least 50 successful missions,

Acclaiming Kanta Hame’s ascent to further leadership within TITO, which came to fruition when it was promoted to Tactical Officer in September 2015 and later Field Commander in January 2019, the highest officer rank attainable in the organization - since these promotions, its leaders have trained over 100 model defender nations, more than twenty of which have advanced to superior officer ranks and continued to excel. This august body has sought to condemn the most nefarious actors in the history of the multiverse for persistent acts of subversion and tyranny, but few nations have an ability to exist as ever-changing shapes, spreading evil across so many years and communities,

Recalling that Feux came to prominence in 2011 as Jeux II, where they traded the WA Delegacy of Europe with Alsted several times. During this rivalry Feux developed a taste for despotism, and abused their place in the United Defenders League to call upon foreign forces to support their bids for the delegacy. Thankfully, they were defeated and abandoned Europe, where Alsted continued to serve for years to come as a community fixture,

Undeterred by their prior losses in Europe, Feux ventured to the New Pacific Order (NPO) and Lazarus. It was in the NPO that their appetite for subversion was only enabled, and their ambitions in Lazarus grew alongside their loyalty to their new home. Feux quickly demonstrated their brutal efficiency and rose to the rank of Senator in 2013,

In Lazarus, Feux became a critical figure in the Emerald Kingdom that ruled 2007-13. As King, they orchestrated a brutal purge of imperialist figures in the region, leading to the forced exile of Griffin Somerset, the region’s longtime Delegate who Feux defeated by a single vote in the preceding election. This act of oppression ended the Emerald Kingdom and ushered in the People’s Republic of Lazarus,

Concurrent to their service in the People’s Republic, Feux continued their rise in the New Pacific Order. Eventually they were promoted to Regent, second only to the Emperor in deciding the ultimate direction of the region, a position the world would soon pay dearly for allowing Feux to attain,

Abhorred that during their Regency in the NPO, despite being a father nation of the People’s Republic, Feux was a part of the core group that initiated and attempted to establish the New Lazarene Order when they illegally edited the regional constitution, dismissed members of the regional Congress, and expelled key regional contributor Funkadelia,

Throughout the brief New Lazarene Order, Feux, alongside Stujenske and A Mean Old Man, attempted to enforce a full annexation of Lazarus into the NPO, a venture which very nearly succeeded, failing due to the defection of an affiliate, leading to Feux’s demotion from Regent, Krulltopia’s record tenure ending, and the Gang of Five Trial in the new Lazarene courts,

Devastated to learn that Feux remained resolute in their lust for sabotage, cultivating the identity Adytus alongside associates AMOM (as Wrektopia) and Stujenske (as Kowassati), setting their sights on Osiris. There, the group rose to key roles in the region, leading to Feux and their partners occupying a majority of the region’s Council of Guardians,

Revolted that even as Adytus, Feux sought to undermine the sovereignty of Lazarus once again, participating in the importation of voters by Lone Wolves United and the Rahl family that contributed to the establishment of the Undead Dominion of Lazarus and the onset of the region’s civil war,

Somewhat relieved that Feux, as Adytus, fled Osiris alongside their accomplices after their failed attempt to prevent the passage of the region’s revised constitution, fearing its implementation would stifle their influence in the region. Adytus would later make a brief attempt on the delegacy of Lazarus during the anarchy period, but soon after abandon the effort,

Minding that Feux was promptly reappointed to the NPO’s Senate after the Adytus identity was put to rest, only to be thrust back into the spotlight when it was revealed in 2018 that Adytus was an alias of Feux and that this had been confided to the Emperor, adding to the pile of scandals plaguing the NPO at the time, causing unprecedented stress once again resulting in the resignation of the Emperor, then further the banishment of Feux and others,

Clarifying this council’s view on the then-Emperor: Aleisyr, in that the Emperor was unaware of Adytus’ and affiliates exploits until they had passed, and that they should be understood to be exonerated for the events of 2018. Instead, blame rests squarely where it is deserved, on the shoulders of Feux and their co-conspirators,

Finding solace in Feux’s removal from the NPO following the 2018 outrages, after which the world found comfort in the ignorance of their newest shape, believing their nation to have long dissolved,

Shocked to discover in 2024, that longtime resident of Lazarus, Debussy, had secretly been a proxy of Feux for five years, once again rising to the rank of Security Councillor. Feux near flawlessly avoided detection until a series of chance circumstances alerted friends of Lazarus, leading to their uncovering,

Knowing that this council and the regions of the world cannot rest easy so long as this nation and its many variants flow rampant,

Hereby condemns the Changer of Shapes, Feux.

Recognizing that the intent behind “Recognition of the General Assembly” is to define the Security Council’s relationship to the General Assembly, an adjacent legislative body within the broader World Assembly,

Believing there to be a number of flaws with the target resolution, a Declaration that is broadly outdated and fails to fulfill its ideal function,

Questioning Resolution 359’s stance that the relatively brief mention of the General Assembly does not do the body justice on the following basis,

• The Security Council has frequently recognized contributors to the General Assembly, such as Honeydewistania and Omigodtheykilledkenny, for deeds in that chamber worthy of commendation or condemnation,
  
  
• General Assembly resolutions do not mention the Security Council in any known case, in contrast to the frequency with which the Security Council typically affords the General Assembly acknowledgement,
  
  
• Security Council resolutions regularly and sufficiently recognize contributors to other institutions and communities, formally-organized or otherwise, from nominal ideologies that dictate interregional politics and conflicts to the various regional, national, and other sports associations which govern the grounds upon which historic athletic achievements have been celebrated, without requiring the explicit recognition of those bodies,

Further confused at Resolution 359’s assertion that the Security Council is obligated to do the General Assembly “justice” in light of the aforementioned imbalance in recognition, followed by the contention that the two chambers are “equal”, a curious display of the disparity in implied standards enforced upon this body by one over the other,

Positing that the declaratory clauses in Resolution 359 are varyingly flawed or without depth beyond their surface acknowledgements,

• Finding items (i) and (ii) unpersuasive as a declarative resolution, given they merely restate matters of fact, rather than express the perspective of the Security Council,
  
  
• Fundamentally disputing the idea advanced in (iii) that the General Assembly and Security Council “remain equal in their overall power and influence” as they carry out intrinsically different functions, the former regulating constituent nations and the matter overseeing matters of recognition and regional warfare,

• Drafted and administered the first iteration of the North Pacific Handbook, which introduced nations new and old to the traditions and legal documents of the region and sought to guide them in their continued education and participation in the region,

Frightened that MLI has sustained defense forces and corruption classifications that had at one point eclipsed all other nations, rankings that were held even well past their dormancy around four and a half years ago and still remain within the top-10, brutally repressing their hopeless citizens whilst subjugating any dissenters into submission,

Horrified by the treatment of the World Assembly by MLI’s shadow government, in which they reacted extremely positively to the condemnation of their very own region (SC#305) by the so-called “SCUMBAG WA”, subsequently initiating name calling and threats of “ANNIHILATION FOR TREASON”, in hindsight an obvious Lancastrian ploy to redirect attention,

Shocked that LoW has, at many times, attempted to hoodwink other nations by repeatedly denying the connection between themselves and MLI, as well as instituting amicable policies on LoW merely as an intent to clean up and improve their image, only later being forced to admit the truth after suspicion grew to the point where the deception became untenable,

Appalled to note further examples of Lancastrian duplicity waged in the meantime, including:

• the induction of Payday Groans across countless nations as Lancastrian agents convinced unsuspecting leaders and free-market advocates of the value of payday loan outlets, allowing for the continuance of predatory financial practices preying on the poor all, of course, to enrich none other than LoW,
  
  
• the manipulation of other countries into treading down the same dark road LoW lies at the end of, employing bootlicking lackeys with promises of future attention to quietly suggest that leaders start thinking about Who's In Your Wallet, resulting in the increasingly-well-documented phenomena of leaders quickly going from putting their face on currency to putting it on propagandic posters on every sidewalk, and
  
  
• the insertion of long-term sleepers into countless Minister of Ethics positions, who inform and evaluate the moral susceptibility of a nation (a method LoW refers to as Keep Me Appraised), as well as literally by making boatloads off of counterfeit Lancastrian art and subsequently defending the practice to chiefs of state everywhere,

Understanding it is the wishes of the native community in England to have a stable Governorship to deter further invasion that might otherwise disrupt the continuity of rule, or the right of native nations to freely and safely assemble in England,

Recognizing the historical relevance of the Joint Task Force, though noting that the Augustin Alliance has embraced neutrality and abstinence from inter-regional warfare in recent years, negating the relevance of this clause, and furthermore asserting that the lack of detail throughout is concerning, such with the unelaborated crediting of “defense and liberation of multiple regions”,

Disappointed that August has since abandoned the Augustin Alliance without good reason, leaving the various constituent regions to secure themselves through means outside of the protection of their founder nations,

Noting that August’s abandonment of the Alliance caused it to go through one of its greatest historical challenges, during which its current figures rose to the occasion by,

• Reducing and eliminating its technological dependency on August,
• Flawlessly executing numerous Frontier-Governorship transitions to ensure the long-term stability of the regions under the new Allied Commander, Emiline,
• Retaining and eventually growing a foreign affairs presence in spite of the disappearance of their Founder and primary figure,

Clarifying that a nation’s withdrawal from active affairs post-commendation does not undo their accomplishments, but asserting that August’s affirmative conduct in recent years has unraveled the basis of their commendation,

Therefore concluding with the mindset that August’s reckless treatment of the Augustin Alliance those recent years has devalued their legacy, leading to a version of the Augustin Alliance that exists in spite of them, rather than because of them,

Hereby repeals “Commend August”.

Description: The Security Council,

Believing that the most dangerous states in the multiverse are not those that are clearly and openly evil but rather those whose heinous misdeeds have been swept under the rug—who are able to function unscathed on the international scene due to their widespread influence and the façade of reform;

Knowing that the Imperial Realm of Norgsveldet is one such detestable state—a brutal, imperialist regime that, ever since its formation on October 21st, 1624, has wrought immeasurable death and devastation upon the world of Urth;

Aghast that no sooner did the historical kingdoms of Novreheim and Riksheim come under the command of one ruler than did the resulting Imperial Realm of Norgsveldet declare itself the sole successor to the Ulvrikian Empire, launching a centuries-long campaign of brutal imperialism and subjugation that would come to stain the shores of such far-flung territories as Nyveldet, Ymirland, Hvaloaszna, Vakrestrender, and Rikervaarland, and the many small nations that make up modern-day Meremaa, Tiervan, Dvergerland, and Dvalheim—places that would serve as a breeding ground for some of Norgsveldet’s most horrifyingly sadistic and discriminatory policies;

Perturbed at the horrifying example of Norgsveltian conquest in the peninsula of Ymirland, where mass execution, displacement, and enslavement were used as ruthless and devastating tools to crush resistance, and where in the decades following colonization, Ymir natives were subjected to violent crusades in an attempt to force their conversion to the Ulvriktru faith;

Sickened by Norgsveldet’s unyielding oppression of its Tiefling minority: A group long persecuted since the early days of the First Norgsveltian Empire, with the horrors of discrimination continuing unabated into the present, particularly in the territory of Nyveldet, where years of systematic abuse and far-right control have left deep scars, resulting in the present-day cycle of violent riots and civil unrest;

Outraged by Norgsveldet’s ruthless suppression of political dissent—including the massacre of thousands of demonstrators during a series of Akuan-led protests in Vestrik in 1885, an atrocity now known as the Bloody November of ’85; and the merciless crackdown on anti-war protests across Ymirland, Hvaloaszna, and Vakrestrender following Norgsveldet’s entry into the Great War in 1907, where martial law was declared, demonstrations were drowned in bloodshed, and community leaders were summarily executed for treason;

Stunned by Norgsvelt’s complicity in genocide in Vakrestrender, where its wicked policies indirectly but causally led to the systematic slaughter of nearly every member of the native orc species, marking the beginning of a heartless, century-long policy of gunning down any orcs that set foot upon the beaches;

Horrified above all by the Akuan Atrocities: A series of massacres and forced labor programs that devastated the Akuan colonies, precipitating widespread famine and resulting in the deaths of nearly ten million Akuan people—an act of cruelty that stains the legacy of Norgsveldet forever, and for which it must never be forgiven;

Yet, despite the enormity of these dark chapters in its history, recognizing the grudging steps Norgsveldet has taken toward reform in the present day, such as:

• The eventual acceptance of Akuanism, despite the deep scars of its past, with Osfjord now home to the largest Akuan district in the world and Queen Wilhelmina herself an unofficial adherent to the faith;
• A series of liberal democratic reforms since 1848, including the establishment of a constitutional monarchy, the cessation of religious deportations, the abolition of slavery, the restoration of the free press, and the proposal of reparations for those harmed by the state’s past atrocities;
• And the formation of the Norgsveltian Crown Realm, a union of sovereign territories that includes Norgsveldet, Tangrland, Maanbriak, Vakrestrender, the Federation of the Southern Coast, Eyjaria, Dvalheim, and Haakondal, offering genuine, mutual benefits for many while preserving autonomy for most;

Noting, however, that modern Norgsveldet remains far from free of sin: The country’s ongoing discrimination against Tieflings in Nyveldet is but one glaring example, as is the Union of Commonwealth Alliances—a military and economic coalition serving to perpetuate Norgsveltian hegemony, and that has had its grimy fingers in several international crises;

And maintaining steadfastly that, despite its more recent attempts at progress, Norgsveldet’s legacy of violence, oppression, and suffering cannot simply be forgiven—its sins are much too grievous to be erased by mere words or diplomatic gestures. So that its crimes may never fade into the annals of history, it is imperative that the Security Council:

Hereby condemns The Imperial Realm of Norgsveldet.

Recalling that Ravania Ultra’s infancy was as a native of Vlaanderen, a small founderless community of culturally similar nations, plagued with constant vulnerability,

Admiring Ravania’s role in Vlaanderen’s long-term security, taking a leading role in refounding the region through the proxy nation 1302. This operation has allowed Vlaanderen to exist peacefully since, and the region has gone on to form a confederation with other historic communities of cultural similarity, Belgium and Nederland,

Respecting Ravania’s long-term loyalty to Belgium’s community in their governorless era, maintaining numerous nations in the region, ensuring its security for over a decade and supporting the region’s native government militarily when not conducting defender deployments themselves,

Grateful that Ravania would go on to explore lands beyond Belgium’s borders, aiding in 2011’s liberation of Christmas and joining the United Defenders League (UDL) where they quickly became an officer and eventually Chief of the Band, the principal leader of the organization,

Acclaiming Ravania’s contributions to the major anti-fascist liberation of Anne Frank during their time as the UDL’s leader and thankful that they have continued to aid in keeping the region alive and out of deplorable hands,

Lauding Ravania as a prolific user and innovator of defender tactics surrounding “sleepers”, proxy nations stationed in vulnerable regions to heighten the barriers to regional destruction and aid in liberation efforts. Ravania's extensive sleeper network generated millions of influence for the defender cause and inspired others to adopt the tactic for the preservation of native communities,

Firmly believing that without the proliferation of sleeper tactics by Ravania, defending would be immeasurably disadvantaged. Such efforts greatly increase the chances of protecting native communities, and Ravania’s diligence, patience, and longevity in this effort as well as passing it down cannot be fully done justice on paper,

Acclaiming Ravania as a pioneer in detagging (removing invader vandalism from vulnerable regions) where they meticulously compiled vast records of regions in need of such assistance, prior to the introduction of modern resources that aid defenders in this process,

Emphasizing the usefulness of Ravania’s patience and attention to detail in defender activity, especially before the introduction of world-wide tracking by global census-takers. Ravania excelled in noticing in-progress and completed invasions at a time when it was much more laborious, their commitment allowing them to be a staple of spotting, defenses, and post-invasion aid in this time, including:

• Protecting historic governorless communities from invasion, such as a liberation of Asia and repeated defenses and liberations of Christmas, the latter of which Ravania has been WA Delegate of twenty-four times throughout various interventions, prominently in preventing 2014’s seasonal invasion attempt,
• Liberating Cascadia, Scotland, and Federation of Herbshire from various occupying coalitions alongside historic defender militaries such as the FRA, RIA, and Lazarus,
• Eradicating the last multiversal stains of The Black Riders, accomplished alongside the Spiritus Defense Force,

Admiring Ravania’s role in the creation of the operations venue #jump, a precursor to Libcord. Through this platform, Ravania and other defender officers ushered in an era of widespread defender collaboration which had been made difficult by incendiary figures in the preceding years,

Appreciating the service of Ravania to the Rejected Realms Army in 2019 and 2022-present, where they have served with distinction. In addition to making unmatched use of their sleeper networks to shield scores of regions from future invasions, they served as the lead during the liberation of The Potato Union, an operation including over seventy liberators,

Cherishing Ravania’s patience and dedication to the long-term security of historic communities, such as Ireland and Christmas. In 2017, Ravania aided Drop Your Pants in refounding Ireland, forever shielding it from the risk of invasion. Later, Ravania would aid Christmas in gaining a new Governor as well,

Appreciating that Ravania’s legacy in the Belgian community came full circle in 2023, when they coordinated with Riemstagrad to oversee Belgium’s transition to gaining a Governor. This allowed the region to be safe from occupation, ending Belgium’s twenty-year era of existential resistance to invaders as a governorless community,

Surmising that while Ravania has not been history’s most exuberant defender, their legacy of endurance and loyalty has rightfully earned them recognition among the cause’s greats,

Hereby commends The Hope and Glory of Ravania Ultra.
