Yangchenia cuts support for DWLP, backs INW

After recent controversies regarding the Democratic Windusian Liberation Party's alleged hypocrisy in their mission to "liberate" Windusia in a nation of peace and equality, the Ministry of Defense and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs officially halted all support for the Democratic Windusian Liberation Party (DWLP).

Initially the favored side in the civil war, with the DWLP receiving support from many different nations throughout Lacia, and even becoming a member of the Strategic Homeland Entity for Lacian Defense Alliance (SHIELD), the DWLP fell from grace following a statement from Windusian Alexis Renaud, the leader of the United Progress Alliance in Windusia, speaking of their hypocrisy after he was threatened by the DWLP, the very faction claiming to champion for freedom and equality, after coming out as homosexual, as well as their complicity in the oppression of the LGBTQ+ community under the old Windusian Regime, with further investigations from the government of Shinseikoku exposing their extremism.

On January 14th, 2019, the Yangchenian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Ministry of Defense held a vote on whether to icut all support of the DWLP, with the results being 890-110 in favor of severing all support with the faction. Following this vote, Minister of Defense Raya Chukhova officially announced Yangchenia's ending of all ties with the Democratic Windusian Liberation Party, with the 10,000 deployed Kyarkha Elite Forces Division being pulled to a secure location somewhere in Windusia.

Following Yangchenia's severing of diplomatic relations with the faction, people in the nation, especially the large Muslim community, began to petition to back the Islamic Nation of Windusia, an organization allied with the anti-DWLP United Progress Alliance, and seeking to bring peace and equality to Windusia that the DWLP promised.

Additionally, many Muslims within Yangchenia commend the INW for severing all ties with the Moestrian Islamic Nation, as well as the INW's leader Nasreen Shala for going as far as to change her surname.

On the 16th of January, 2019, demonstrations were held in the cities of Al-Waharriyah, Mehre, Xanadu and most especially Bayt Arrariya, home to significant Muslim populations within the mainland. Similar demonstrations were also held in the protectorates of Tyra Melin and Bisporia, with protesters chanting slogans such as - "Remember Malkain - Never Again!" and "INW - In Nasreen We Trust!".

Following this pressure, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs officially announced that Yangchenia was beginning support for the INW, remaining steadfast in it's goal for peace and equality.

Acting PM Pol-en Chagar addressed the nation:

People of Yangchenia,

After careful consideration, we have decided to halt all support for the DWLP, and support the INW. It has come to our attention the DWLP's inherent hypocrisy and authoritarian nation, completely against what they stand for. It is for this reason that we officially end all support and ties with the faction, and are throwing our support for the INW.

To the citizens of Windusia, forever hold firm the spirit of fortitude and perseverance, as you face these troubling times. The whole world stands with you.

Project Toutai completed, reusable rocket prototype created

Project Toutai on Yangchenia's Website

After nearly four months of research and development with help from the GCN International Space Program, Project Toutai finally reached it's goal of developing a reusable rocket prototype, officially unveiling it to the public on the 10th of January, 2019. The rocket, aptly named Toutai, is designed for relanding back on the planet multiple times, and is the first multi-use rocket ever developed.

It's maiden launch occurred from the Samdrup Jongkhar Cosmodrome, with the rocket performing a flyby of Lacia's Moon, before successfully relanding on the planet six days later on the 16th.

With the development of this new piece of technology, a new era for space exploration is rapidly approaching.

After less than an hour of peaceful negotiations with Lethinia concerning the formal withdrawal of the western half of Saint Maria’s Land from its imperial rule, a final decision has been reached: from now on, western Saint Maria’s Land shall not be referred to by its former name, nor as a colony. From now on, the Duxic Commonwealth, a free, sovereign and independent state exists in its place. Elections will be held tomorrow morning concerning the leadership of the Commonwealth.

For now, a small committee of 3 people consisting of the Mayor of Lipeňsk, Václav Tillinic, the newly-appointed temporary Minister of Foreign Affairs, Andrej Vlček, and the temporary Interior Minister, Zhang Yazhu rules the country. Václav has already announced the creation of a new big-tent political party by the name of the "Democratic Party of Greatdux", while Zhang has campaigned for the creation of a Yangchenian minority party.

As for foreign relations, the committee looks forward to create positive relationships with its neighbors and all of the nations of Lacia. The newborn nation has already applied for membership in the GCN and is expected to join sometime within the next 24 hours. The question of international neutrality has been put up in a referendum that will run alongside the election. The terms laid out by the newborn Commonwealth and agreed to Lethinia by in the aforementioned negotiations have included a clause for observer status inside the Lethinian Commonwealth, alongside other terms that are undisclosed for the moment.

Independence to Greatdux
The government has announced that it will grant independence to the nation of Greatdux, this has raised a lot of questions on why they gave independence but many speculate it was due to the deal between Lethinia and the tribes in the area 92 years ago, the deal was that Lethinia would own the land for 90 years and when the 90 years has passed, the tribe would get the independence. Ofc there might have been some manipulation and threatening during that time. The deal has been forgotten but the Duxic ambassadors have reminded the government and started negotiating about independence which has been a succeed for Greatdux.

Imperial Bealtian Council Declares Partial-Decolonization Policy

This morning, the Imperial Bealtian Council announced the adoption of a Partial-Decolonization Policy, marking a significant shift in the structure of the Colonial Commonwealth. The Council declared that the colonies of Anagra, Wert's Bay, and Moestr will no longer remain under Commonwealth control.

To War - Bajan invades Outer Lethinia

In a shocking turn of events, the Empire of Bajan suddenly broke it's non-aggression pact with the Dragon Empress Domain of Yangchenia, and launched a surprise attack in Southern Yangchenia, landing troops near Kara-Oi in the Outer Lethinia Autonomous Khanate

Bajan and Yangchenia had a long and tense history between them, with both nations having gone to war last 20th December, 2018, when Bajanese troops launched an attack on the Xiaoming Islands, a territory of Yangchenia, following a tense confontation between the two navies. They managed to succesfully take the three islands, in what they called a "decisive victory". During the battle, both the Bajanese and Yangchenian navies engaged each other, with the Bajanese launching kamikaze attacks against Yangini vessels, forcing many warships to retreat or be sunk, however at the cost of many enemy casualties.

After 11 days of continuous resistance by the Kyarkha Elite Yangini Division, who are nomadic tribespeople originating from the lands of the Laohueng Dynasty, who moved to Yangchenia after the empire fell and was replaced with the nation of Tyra Melin, known for wearing the skulls of their enemies as head decorations and for their ruthless efficiency, the last Yangini forces pulled out from the islands, with Bajan and Yangchenia enacting a non-aggression pact for one year in exchange for Yangchenia ceding the islands to Bajan.

However, less than a month after the signing of the non-aggression pact on the 18th of Januart, the Empire of Bajan suddenly launched a surprise attack on the Yangchenian Mainland, led by General Tamotsu Arakawa, with Bajanese forces landing near the city of Kara-Oi, the fourth largest city in Outer Lethinia.

The Bajanese landing and assault on Kara-Oi was met with fierce resistance from members of the Kyarkha's, who inflicted numerous casualties on the invading Bajanese, with one Kyarkha Warrior named Sarangerel slaying nearly 1000 fighters. However, despite the fierce battle, the Bajanese Army came out on top and pushed out from the city of Kara-Oi, capturing large swathes of coastal territory within the Outer Lethinian Autonomous Khanate and the Jewish Autonomous Oblast, with subsequent battles taking place in the cities of Kfar Ya'od Itnapishim and Taayavo. The Kyarkha's soon retreated to Tyonuur, the capital of Outer Lethinia.

Minister of Defense Raya Chukhova soon addressed the nation, saying:

People of Yangchenia,

Today, I stand before you with a heavy heart and a steadfast resolve. The moment we feared has arrived—the moment when our peace, our security, and our way of life have been shattered. Our nation has been invaded.

Forces from the Empire of Bajan, with aggression and forceful intentions, has crossed our borders. This is no ordinary time, and these are no ordinary circumstances. Our homeland, which has stood strong through countless challenges, now faces a test of unparalleled magnitude.

But let this be clear: While we may be struck by this sudden threat, we are not defeated. We are not weakened. We are a nation forged through millenia of struggles, challenges and pride. We will rise, and we will fight for our right to exist.

Q1 2019 National Leadership Election and Neutrality Referendum Results

LIPENSK, GREATDUX - 19th of January, 2019

The results of Greatdux's first ever election have been declared: the candidate of the nascent Democratic Party of Greatdux, its chairman and founder, Václav Tillinic has soundly defeated all of the other candidates with a whopping 75%. The Party of Social Democracy's Kristýna Richterová, who got only 10%, conceded defeat at noon, along with the far-right party Forward! Greatdux's candidate, Otakar Horváth, who got a measly 5% of people's votes. The Yangchenian minority party, Unity (团结), did not participate and endorsed Tillinic. The election was seen as a foregone conclusion, seeing as Tillinic was the head of the negotiations of his nation's independence and was already seen as a Pater Patriae by the populace. Tillinic will be inaugurated as First Citizen tomorrow.

Tillinic has already formulated the national budget with his fellow leadership, and is expected to put heavy focus on the quick formation of the proposed Duxic Defense Forces early in his first term, which will last a quarter of a year, along with the establishment of crucial pillars of the government.

The results of the referendum concerning the neutrality of the Duxic Commonwealth in international affairs have also been declared: the voterbase has decided that Greatdux will play a small, but significant role in foreign affairs. To play as an aggressor or as a peacemaker is yet to be determined.

Yangchenian Migrants Allowed In

LIPENSK, GREATDUX - 19th of January, 2019

In response to Bajanese aggression against Yangchenia manifested in the military invasion of Outer Lethinia, the Committee of Independence has preliminarily decided to allow any Yangchenian refugee fleeing from the conflict to cross the border and reside in Greatdux for an indefinite time. The Committee has also decided to construct short-term housing for said refugees and will provide social support and asylum. The Committee opposes any further aggression by Bajan against Yangchenia.

In response to the Bajanese Empire's invasion of Yangchenia, Sergiej Grubarchniewich, leader of the Militarian Socialist State of Franexia (MSSF), has declared war on the Nation of Yangchenia. In a rousing speech to the people, Grubarchniewich stated:

"Workers, Soldiers, Comrades of the MSSF. I have wonderful news for all of you. Our allies from the Bajanese Empire have invaded Yangchenia's mainland! After discussions with Emperor Hiroto Sato, we have decided that Franexia will also take action.

The MSSF officially declares war on Yangchenia! We will crush their forces, push them out of Valoria, and reclaim what is rightfully ours! These aggressors were planning to turn Franexia into their colony, but we will bring liberation to these lands. This war will also serve as preparation for future conflicts with the Primordial Alliance, demonstrating the strength of the MTP.

Our soldiers have already advanced 30 kilometers beyond the border and continue to press forward. Glory to the MSSF!"

Franexia's involvement in the conflict has intensified the situation in Valoria, as the once-localized skirmish threatens to escalate into a broader regional war.

Franexian Government Announces "Project Hercules"
The First Secretary of Saint Kalerun unveiled Project Hercules, a bold and controversial initiative aimed at reshaping the Franexian population:

"To secure our future, the government of the MSSF has launched Project Hercules. This program will transform our youth into the next generation of perfect soldiers.

Franexia Tests Two New Nuclear Bombs Near Lethinia and Zephyriel
Franexia has conducted tests of two new nuclear weapons:

RD-2839 "Grubarchniewich"
MTP-003 "Liberation"

The tests occurred near the borders of Lethinia and Zephyriel, with Franexian military officials describing the move as a "show of power and dominance over our enemies."

UPDATE - War in Tyra Melin/Laohueng, surprise Franexian Invasion

Mere hours after Bajan's surprise attack on the Yangchenian Mainland, the Militarian Socialist State of Franexia launched a surprise attack on the Yangini Protectorate of Laohueng Tyra-Maji.

The region of Tyra Melin, known in Yangchenia as Laohueng had long been controlled by the ancient Laohueng Dynasty, the predecessor to modern Lacian Yangchenia. The Laohueng Dynasty was a long lasting empire existing between 250BC and 1400AD, before the empire collapsed and it's people fled to modern day Yangchenia. However, after the collapse of the nation of Tyra Melin, the region was once again returned to Yangchenia, it's previous residents.

Franexia was an ally of Bajan, and had met with Bajanese leader for discussions.

At precisely 1am on the 20th of January, Franexia declared war on Yangchenia, stating that they will reclaim what is rightfully theirs, and that Yangchenia was planning on turning them into a colony. Their initial push was met with little resistance, pushing 30km into Yangini Tyra Melin, before the advance was halted by the 7th Maji Brigade and the 4th Kyarkha Front, with battles ensuing in the city of Zoloadia.

People's Kingdom of Drulassia receives independence from Lethinia, Drulassians celebrate
Today is January 19th, 2019, and Drulassia has received independence from Lethinia. Drulassia is to be ruled by a king or queen but the People's Parliament holds all of the power. Our most important industry is agriculture and people must serve in the military for 5 years, from age 20 to 25. Drulassia will remain a neutral country so therefore all immigrants and refugees will be accepted into Drulassia.

The Start of the Caresni-War
Tensions between the United States of Youthenheim (USY) and the Republic of Caresniheim erupted into open conflict following a shocking assassination attempt on President Marcel Smirnov.

The incident occurred during a diplomatic visit aimed at investigating the recent accusations against Caresniheim regarding the terrorist attacks in Polifirenia. According to the Minister of Diplomatic Relations, the situation escalated when the Caresniheimian ambassador suddenly drew a pistol during the meeting and shot President Smirnov in the chest. Security forces immediately responded, killing the attacker on the spot.

President Smirnov was rushed to the hospital, where he remains in critical condition.

Prime Minister Sorokin Declares War
At 9:00 AM, televisions across the nation broadcasted a message from Prime Minister Aleksei Aleksandrovich Sorokin, now acting as the head of state. In a solemn yet resolute address, Sorokin announced the declaration of war on Caresniheim:
