Haiti is definitely a contender for the worst country right now.

What do you belive the worst country is? Not the one you love but a modern country that you think would be second to hell or maybe is hell in your mind, now with this, I believe the worst country to live in is something like North Korea. The radical regime and if you breathe the wrong way you die and imprisonment of family is too extreme for me.

North Korea is politically extreme but if you keep your mouth shut, the state provides for you somewhat (especially in the army) and there is virtually zero crime. The lack of political freedom does not matter when there are other countries where most citizens cannot feed themselves and are at risk everyday of rape and/or death.

Anyways I live in a developing country and I can tell you all straight that many people here would not mind a dictatorship if it gives them food and safety. I work for a company that pays some of its farm workers 0.46USD a day doing hard manual labor so I have come face to face with extreme poverty. When every day is a struggle to survive, political concerns become irrelevant.

Afghanistan is pretty bad, but I like how they're not allowing their women enough freedoms to result in common manipulation tactics that are often seen amongst women in developed countries. But the Taliban goes too far in not letting their women enough independence to do grocery shopping and other things a household needs.

The objective worst countries to live in are those that have no organization or infrastructure - those in total chaos, like, off the top of my head, Haiti, Somalia, etc.
