Matchday 9 to 12 recap

In the 9th to 12th week of our league it was time to make decisions, the season after these weeks would be halfway done and that fact made alot of lower ranked teams think about their current squads.
Especially Phoenix United manager Pescado was on a tight line between getting fired from his position or being trusted the team till the end of the season but the board had not made a decision yet so they had to impress them now.
At first in the first two weeks it did not work out, despite a better preformance Amazona and Ancient Forest were too strong but against Blizzard of all teams they pulled off a great win and one week later defeated Cascade.
This would place Phoenix higher in the rankings however a far way from where they should be, but the question is whether the board was convined or not and in a following statement they made their decision public.

''In light of recent events and understanding that Phoenix needs to improve we have been in talks with various ideas and people have deemed that Ricardo Pescado is currently the best fit for the position of manager at Phoenix United.
This means his contract will not be terminated early, he will have our trust until the end of this season winning against two major teams gives hope but he has to use this positive energy now to move forward and bring the team together as a unity.''

after this captain Zaratti also spoke

''As captain of this team i can say our team supports the coach no matter what, he is a great man with a great career and being coached by him is an honour for us and we as team wish to finish this season with him aswell.
All players are behind this and we will work hard to ensure this team gets what it deserves and the fans get what they deserve because that is what we are playing for and why we are paid those high wages to give hope and joy to millions of people across the country.''

League

In the league Storm Wolves are still ahead by a small margin on second place Star Unicorn who lean on Angela Diaz and hope she can bring them a championship for the first time in the club history.
Both of them have won various matches though Star Unicorn lost one against Ancient Forest who with Kai Schulz on their team climbed back to 7th position as he seems between those world cup games to improve his game alot playing with the national team.
Equinox, Blizzard and Amazona are next all those 3 teams have worked very hard where Equinox remained consistent and kept 3rd place Blizzard and Amazona each climbed up a few spots where they look for better rankings for their top teams.

Desert Lions, Ancient Forest and Pegasus Orb are next where the Desert Lions and Pegasus Orb fell a little on the rankings Ancient Forest started actively winning game after game increasing their points.
Their team is often an outcast but they host several internationals and youth internationals who each are able to bring the team to a higher level with their experience and skill which helps them to beat better teams.
Cascade and Phoenix are top teams with less success where Cascade relatively stabilized Phoeix rose the last matches by winning important games against strong teams earning them points to challenge for a better spot.

Only time will tell if those two teams are making the correct decisions and whether they will next year look similar or see a total change it really depends on how the second half of this season will be looking for them.
At the bottom we find Rose Gryphon and Mount Olympus who each have their own issues at the moment that they need to overcome this season and the coming seasons for them to grow and advance as entire team.

Rose Gryphon currently has alot of players that are getting old or older not necessarily needing to retire but the problem is where most team has youth on the bench to replace and aid them in their latter years Rose Gryphon does not have that.
Some of their players on the reserves have the same age as those in starting line-up which makes the team not have its ideal form and the older all players become the more problematic it will become for this team.
Their older reserves are still desperate for their time to shine but next season Rose Gryphon will need to make hard choices in who they wish to keep and who they wish to say farewell to in order for youth to get a chance.

Mount Olympus has the opposite problem, a core of 5 old veterans who in some cases are even still actively playing in the national team and 6 rookies in their early 20s looking to make name and fame in the league.
Nothing inbetween this, no players in their prime years, this makes the balance in the team very disturbed and their team alot less strong then it used to be with many players in their prime a few years ago, they need to rebuild that experience.
replacing players one by one is good but Olympus went too fast and now find themselves in a very ugly situation.

Matchday 13 to 16 recap

Its already the 13th till the 16th week of the SuperLeague and tensions rise high between teams as the final weeks draw closer and closer no team yet has taken a decisive lead over the others in the race for the title.
However we have three teams that seems to make the most chance as the other teams are lagging a bit behind in points, the diffrence between 4th and 3rd is 3 points but to 2nd already 7 points making it hard to beat the top two teams in the rankings.
In the lead again we find the Storm Wolves who are having a great season and are on pole position for the title having won against big and small teams on their road to this lead but lost the lead last week once to Star Unicorn.
This was because they lost to the 3rd placed team, not a bad loss but still an important one but now one week later they are back in the lead and after a bad season last year where they ended up last place this is a whole improvement.

Current coach Julia Bressing a former goalkeeper for Blizzard knows how tough it can be to play at a high competitive level and following our contact with her she praises the teams motivation and determination.
She states they have everything they need to become a great team, they don't have to be the most famous or best players as long as they work together and trust eachother this team can reach greater heights then a team of individual stars.
Malin Jansson the captain of the team also reaffirms this saying the team has grown a whole lot during this season and the players young and old have come closer together with their success showing that they are more then just a breakaway team.

In second place we find their title rivals of Star Unicorn last week they led the league and now they gave it away after a narrow loss against Equinox but they are only a single point behind and the title is also for them within reach.
Star striker Angela Diaz after abscence for years returned to our league and has been a great pillar of support for the team that now has the perfect mix of experience and youthful spirit within their ranks.
Further they have plenty of talent coming aswell with Noemi Szabo and Eamon O'Connor making their debut in the first team and making sporadic appearances as substitutes showing the future of the team is bright.
Their coach is a seasoned veteran, Gordon Borov who played in the first World Cup for the Starsian national team but sadly in the qualifiers they were pretty much demolished but this is more then a decade ago now.
He has been a stable and well achieving coach reaching 6th place last year and now trying to win the first title for the club, team captain Kendra Halisovic has seen incredible potential and after years she aswell sees it all coming together now.

When we talked to her she told us about debuting as a rookie in the league and ever since working her way to where she is now, even if the national team never called her up she is still a great fan of the current squad.
Halisovic was one of many players in this generation close to the team but missing the team because of competition on her position from players such as Joyce Villegas and Redwood in the past.

Lastly on a 4 point distance from Star Unicorn we find Pegasus Orb last year runners up who gave it away to Phoenix on the last matchday and this sour loss could be compensated by winning the championship this year.
On a small distance feeling here is that this small gap can be closed with the remaining matches however they are aware of the fact that losing points with two very good other teams is no longer an option and their team is seen as the weakest out of the three contenders.
They do have improvements made throughout the season mainly switching out Howard in favor of Fiore who made her appearance in the national team and improved her game to prove herself very useful to the team.
However the older players are still of the semi pro generation that founded the club where the younger players are fully educated professionals and their level is 10 times higher then that of their older counterparts who seem to hold out well in the league now.
This team relies on a few key players, Grace Edwards, Beatrice Fiore and lastly Elizabeth Phillips all three are national team players and two are starters with great skill bringing the teams level up alot and Fiore has alot of future potential here.

Rojan Carerez their coach played in the Qualifiers for World Cup 88 and 89 and commented that this team is ready to face the challenges coming its way and that this team will only get stronger year after year.
Time is their enemy in this year, it is important to look at the fact that if they want to pull it off they need to play the perfect series of matches in the coming weeks and captain Elizabeth Phillips greatly agreed with that.
She and her team really want revenge for last year and she states the fans deserve that championship for their loyal support year after year and that they will battle until the last second to achieve this.

Further down we find Amazona and Equinox with an even bigger gap and chances they can find a way back to the top exist but are unlikely however they do not give up and do their best to gain good results.
They are the only other teams that with luck perhaps could reconnect to the top three but this will also require the three best teams to drop quite some points for those two to gain on them at all.
Further down we find, Ancient Forest, Blizzard and the Desert Lions battling it out mid table and they seem to hold themselves well with each team having a good playing and stable squad that can win matches but also has shown to bottle some winnable games.

Phoenix and Cascade seek reconnection to the teams above them, the gap is very small so each match will see big changes in the rankings but both of these teams have big expensive squads and fans are unhappy about their preformances.
Phoenix has climbed up a little but Cascade keeps around these ranks and doesnt seem able to climb higher despite having major players including Kira Blade the best player in the country and record holder for most international matches.

Mount Olympus and Rose Gryphon remain at the bottom of the table, their issues are known and the fans dont like it but there is currently no saving them anymore as they are likely to remain at the bottom this season.
Many fans hope next season will be better for them, Rose Gryphon has been a mediocre team for a longer time but Olympus was 5th last season so their fall to this placing has made alot of fans there very angry and sad as they dont understand why many veterans were fired.
Most of their problems are just with too many new inexperienced players who have no clue, they are still developing and while they are skilled enough they don't stand a chance against seasoned teams with strong veterans and rookies with their aid, alot of veterans at Olympus are unable to aid these rookies anymore which makes it worse.

Matchday 17 to 20 recap

It is unbelievable what happened these weeks in the 17th till the 20th week of the league the big teams have dropped some points and the gap between the top three has been closed and reduced to only one single point.
Theoretically the 4th placed team also still has a shot but its highly unlikely as it would require the entire top three to drop points and for them to win both their matches and preferrably with a larger margin to bridge the goal diffrence.
These last two weeks of the league are gonne decide the next champion of the 2037/2038 season and this one has been certainly not much less intense then last season where a similar situation between Phoenix and Pegasus Orb occured.

Star Unicorn currently sits in the first spot but only by goal diffrence with a +9 goal diffrence against +3 for the Storm Wolves who sit in second place and last year runner up Pegasus Orb is in 3rd one point behind those two.
All three times have the desire, the teamwork and the skill to become champion but only one team will be able to lift the trophy at the end of the season which is why we this time will look at some individual matches.

In the first gameweek week 17 Phoenix pulled off the upset against the Storm Wolves in a heated match which saw them on a rare occasion drop points from a match they should and could have won.
Both teams searched for the offense and created holes in their defense but no one seemed to be able to use it to their advantage resulting after some goalscoring back and forth in a 2-2 stalemate for a long time during the game, it was only late into the game that Carmen Hernandez scored the winning goal and secured much needed points for her team.
Currently after all those weeks Phoenix stands in 8th place an improvement with still also opportunity to climb the ranks more depending on how their last two matches will play out.
Meanwhile Pegasus Orb increased their goal diffrence and also Star Unicorn secured a narrow victory but they played both of the bottom teams Olympus and Rose Gryphon respectively and they weren't much of a challenge to most teams.
Olympus managed to still equalize thanks to a goal from Fourseasons but Star Unicorn was too strong and dominated the game in which they had to play alot of defense to keep them from humiliating them.
Pegasus Orb had a goal festival winning with an easy 3-0 on Rose Gryphon showing clear supriority and the ability to challenge that number one spot with great class within their own ranks.

In the next week Storm Wolves again dropped points but Star Unicorn and Pegasus Orb played eachother and ended their game in a draw, the chance for Star Unicorn to take a decisive lead had been lost.
this was the most important match of the last few weeks, both teams are at the top and currently play a good season and seeing their game showed that their players aswell were of high level and could compete with the big three that didn't run as good this season.
Phoenix, Blizzard and Cascade the supposed big teams the last few seasons didnt run as good as they should but they remain very popular among the population for their rich history and historic playerbase that provided many great players.
Clubs like Pegasus Orb and Star Unicorn are new and don't have such historical value yet but in due time they will also have this.

In the 19th week Storm Wolves gained and Star Unicorn dropped, Storm Wolves had to play Rose Gryphon a minor team and easily won this match without much problems given their advantage in skill and motivation.
Star Unicorn played a draw with a tough Phoenix that struggled to improve and while having a good team just didnt manage to repeat their last season but were doing alot better then earlier which might just save Pescado's position as manager for the team.
Pegasus Orb played Amazona also one of those teams with a good squad and running very well in the 6th spot at the moment as was pretty normal for a team of their strength, they have been one of few very consistent teams this season.
Amazona is known for their technology based complex and training methods but recently they have been playing with more youth with their Star player being Iris Olivier a supertalent that is currently playing for the U21 national team but is predicted to be certainly within reach of a senior team place aswell once she turns 21 and finished her last youth year.

In the 20th gameweek Storm Wolves again dropped points this time against the Desert Lions a weaker team which could have had great consequences if not a major upset in the league had happened that same day.
Rose Gryphon by sheer luck beat Star Unicorn, reserve striker for both Rose Gryphon and the national team Chloe Simon got a penalty and with great calmth shot it in the right lower corner out of reach for the goalkeeper putting her team up for the win, this also gave Pegasus Orb THE opportunity to catch up as they beat Ancient Forest narrowly but with the three points securing a challenge for the title.
Within these weeks we've seen many ups and downs, wins and upsets but its sure a very interesting season and we don't know at all which team will win this season as four teams potentially could still become champions.

Storm Wolves who led a large part of the season and have had a consistent season, Star Unicorn who later in the season became a dominant force and took over the lead and is currently in pole position to win it.
Or maybe Pegasus Orb a team that has been hidden in the shadows of the 3rd place all this time and maybe this could be finally their opportunity to take the title while the top two battles it out.
Or maybe all three of them suddenly play two very bad matches and fourth place team Equinox bridges the gap with two large wins, its very hard for them but even they technically still have a shot at the league title this season, they are reliant on the other teams though where the top three teams all has it in their own hands, winning is what they need to do and losing is not an option anymore.

Matchday 21 and 22 FINAL MATCHES

Its here the season finale, the time we have all been waiting for is here upon us and we are all here to take you with us on this rollercoaster as many teams dream of being champions but only one can be it.
On the 21st matchday the first match going on was one for the history books the Storm Wolves against Star Unicorn, a heated match from the beginning and every single player played their best as they had never played before, the level was insanely high.
With various chances for both teams none managed to score and halftime was reached without goals but plenty of yellow cards between both teams nearing the dirty plays but not as much as to injure people.
In the second half this changed though several injuries saw players needed to be substituted including Angela Diaz who had a minor injury making it unsafe for her to continue playing and where everyone expected Antonia Greco to be replacing her the coach threw around everything and Maria Delgado a 16 year old striker was subbed in instead.

Delgado did not score but she was very important in the game in the 78th minute when a counter by Star Unicorn saw great combinations between Delgado and Halisovic allowing Kendra Halisovic to score the only goal.
this really broke Storm Wolves and with not much time they were unable to recover and this gave Star Unicorn a very important win and at the same time Pegasus Orb played a draw against Blizzard where they should have won.

On the 22th matchday Storm Wolves and Pegasus Orb had both already played and won their game, only if Star Unicorn would have a significant loss they would be held from the title however their squad played a strong Amazona United.
At first they even lost the lead as Amazona in the 15th minute opened the score with a brilliant goal by supertalent Iris Olivier who was determined to bring a win to her team and secure a higher position on the ranking.
But before halftime this was overturned by a goal from Angela Diaz a great goal with no one able to do anything about it, in the top corner scored from outside the box with great speed and power.

In the second half Antonia Greco, Noemi Szabo and Bianco Kaur were subbed in for Angela Diaz, Douglas McArthur and Paul Brusseau and the game intensified in speed as the young offense of Amazona was not able to keep up with this improved midfield.
Diaz still was a bit hurt from the match a week ago so the coach took no risks here as Diaz was too important for the entire team and in the 64th minute the decisive 1-2 was scored by Matthias Weber after free kick from Halisovic, now their victory and championship was almost sure but they still had to play the remainder of the game.
Iris Olivier and the other players of Amazona kept attacking got shots on goal but the goalkeeper stopped them all and they held off the offense at the end of the game when the referee decided to end the match and blow the whistle.

the crowd roared all of the fans that traveled with the Star Unicorns broke through the security and ran onto the field to celebrate this with their heroes on the field as they had to wait long years for this to happen.
Last year not higher then a 6th place and now they were THE league champions there was no one better then this team and they proved it the entire season not by leading but by winning on the crucial moments in the season.
Coach Gordon Borov had been champion himself aswell once and he was very happy for his players calling it a true team effort.

Starsian Super League

Matchday 1 to 5 recap

Hello everyone and thank you for tuning in to a new season of the Starsian Super League season 2038/2039 is here and this year not 12 but 14 teams are gonna battle it out in 26 match weeks to decide who is the best team.
Will Star Unicorn defend their title? or maybe again put a strong preformance? or will the traditional top teams return such as Blizzard and Phoenix who always are contenders for a title no matter the start or will we be surprised by one of the new teams?
This year is marked by the highest international ranking of all times after a solid world cup run by our national team and many players young and old will want to leave their mark on this season and show they are capable to compete on that level.

With 2 new teams and a new cup competition the association under leadership of Marcus Blade has seen high and low points with the league collapse in 2028 its test season in 2032 and its definitive return in 2037.
All players are very happy with this, before we start with the matches we would like to mention the retirees of this season being Elina Kovalenko, Paul Brusseau, Kurt Rodham, Natalie Parker, Nicholas Mitchell and Victoria Steyn.
Leroy Russell was gonna retire but instead has reached a deal with a club in Xanneria to play for them and he is very motivated to have this dream come true and Princeton also was gonna retire but had an internal transfer to Lunar Prime.
They were very happy with the veteran goalkeeper having alot of skill and experience on this position without too high transfer costs.

Without further ado lets dive into the first five weeks of games!

Surprisingly after 5 matchdays leading the league on goal diffrence is new team Lunar Prime FC, they have despite inexperience put up a great preformance beating Ancient Forest, Blizzard, the Desert Lions and Equinox and this is very surprising considering that Blizzard Academy based on data analysis is the strongest team in the league in overal skill and balance.
Now Lunar Prime has two key players transferred before the league start, Calvin Princeton the best goalkeeper the Starsian national team ever had and still one of the best goalkeeper in the league despite his respectable age of 35 years.
Secondly Bertha Bernard, she also has a past in the national team and is still a competitive player on a league level however where the top clubs prefer youth Lunar Prime immediately offered her a contract and signed another former top player.
So where they may have no league experience they have several game influencing players who can bring the team to a higher level.

As runners up we find Cascade, Christopher Taylor makes his debut in the goal and Kira Blade against all odds managed to return in time for the season opener and signed a new contract with Cascade.
Everyone after last season thought her pro career or atleast on a high level was pretty much over with that horrible injury but with help from various people she managed to recover quickly and here the living legend stands on the field.
She has the most caps for the National team and is a nationally recognized hero, young players making their debut now saw her in her prime years and even today she continues to inspire youth across the country.
With a respectable second place they have the same points as first but Lunar Prime has more goals.

Ancient Forest is in a nice third place, our oldest team around has a solid start and Schulz looking to put up his best season so far, he and many others really want to bring Ancient Forest back to the top but will need to keep this up.
They have a solid team but lack the one of a kind player that can turn games around for them, someone making the diffrence on the field and the fact they got hammered by Lunar Prime in the season opener did really help their cause.
Adina Popescu has announced she will most likely retire after this season and along with this its also been announced that they will get an entire new stadium in 2044 and construction begins in 2040.
Currently their stadium was build in the 1970s holding a capacity of 58,000 but the new stadium should almost hold double the capacity.

Mount Olympus after a horrible season start now starts alot better with Seya Avelona returning as the teams coach with her daughter now being also part of the squad it has been a topic of discussion lately.
People criticize Seya for possibly favoring her daughter over other players however the board has stated they trust her to manage the team with honor as she always had done and currently its showing off in the results with Helena Avelona playing a major role every game so far, her abilities are very good and it is without a doubt showing she even without her mother would have been likely the starter on that spot.
Another topic is the future of Christian Fourseasons....will the veteran club legend stay or retire.....no one knows and no one has heard anything yet despite a hattrick in the first game.

We find Blizzard in 5th spot, with Holly Moonlight the ice queen playing her final season Blizzard has stated they want a championship this year and will not go for anything less believing the traditional top teams should again top the rankings.
Recently a downward trend for traditional teams has been going on and this year is the year they hope to break that cycle, with alot of talent both on the field and in their youth they believe this is the year they could pull it off.
Most notable so far has been their victory over their bitter rival the Storm Wolves a team last year very strong but this year Blizzard managed to take the victory over them and at the moment they started a decent season.

Next we find Equinox, the Storm Wolves and Pegasus Orb with Storm Wolves losing an early match to rivals Blizzard they had hoped for a better start but their IFCF run is very great and they done alot of experience from it.
Pegasus Orb last years surprise team only has 1 win so far, 3 draws and a loss really struggling to defeat teams and losing alot of valuable points early in the season they could have used as they try to regroup for the next games.

Next we find Desert Lions, Amazona United, Blue Lagoon and Rose Gryphon all those teams had a pretty mediocre start and dont really have teams they could win with except for Amazona who are expecting and wishing for improvement.
Amazona has a supertalent in Iris Olivier in their ranks and everyone is still insanely angered over the fact that she was not selected for the national team while the current players in it were chosen because of their experience.
Olivier in the first few matches really stood out in her team and the games itself putting a ton of effort in showing she still believes in her chances and that she really wants to play in the senior team and show herself to coach Walcott.

Most surprising is the bottom two teams Phoenix United and Star Unicorn, where Phoenix is known for bad starts and this being a trend now people believe they will be there at the end of the season and compete.
However Star Unicorn was last years champion and for a champions team to have only three points is shameful but this also partly is because Star Unicorn is doing very good in the IFCF busy making the best run ever for our country, so when Angela Diaz one of their key players and South Newlandian was asked about it she referred to the IFCF and that their main focus was those games now.
While they take the league seriously this is really big and they want to represent our league in the best way possible and as such they are expected to just like Phoenix slowly climb their way back up the ranks in the coming weeks.

Starsian Supercup

Hello folks and welcome to the first round of the Starsian Supercup the first edition of the cup competition here in The 14 Stars and we have in this 1st round 12 teams battling with eachother and last years top 2 Star Unicorn and Pegasus Orb have received a bye to the quarter finals.
This is because the uneven numbers of teams involved aswell as to reward them for their hard work last year, without further notice we dive right into the matches as we are very curious how the teams are playing.

When the draw happened we saw some pretty nice matches but the most anticipated one without a doubt has been Blizzard Academy taking on Cascade Football Academy both very strong teams that could take the title home.
However on the first day we first saw the matches of Ancient Forest against the Storm Wolves which immediately was one to really member with two very evenly matched teams and Kai Schulz playing a main role in it with many goals, on the other hand Storm Wolves has been really in the right form this season and has much new talent up and coming, they unlike a few years ago are actually able to rival Blizzard nowadays and those two clubs are bitter rivals ever since the split.
They lost earlier to Bizzard this season so they certainly wanna show them something here.
In the other bracket we have currently as best match Phoenix against Equinox but if Phoenix can regain its form they should be pretty safe there but the question is how Star Unicorn and Pegasus are gonna preform in the next matches.
Star Unicorn has seen a dramatic season start and Pegasus Orb is doing okay but there could be improvement, both teams look for better results in the league but aside that a cup win also counts as a prize and gives an IFCF spot that we didnt have earlier.

In other news it has been brought to our attention that the old complex that once hosted Celtica FC has been sold to an anonymous buyer after the land being left to its own for more then a century and the once modern complex now rotten and taken over by nature.
Celtica FC is a former football club that was in the 19th century until 1909 active on the highest level after which it shut down due to financial issues and at the time they had won the championship once in 1886 in a surprise run against all major Starsia teams but after that peak year things went downhill and it never achieved its glory anymore.
This anonymous buyer has stated wanting to keep this clubs legacy alive and finding the importance of the countryside a priority, however there has been no changes yet made onto the grounds and sources tell us this could take some years.

People in the neighbourhood have already protested against this wishing rather for the permanent demolition for the remainder to make room for housing, more shops and necessary things to attract more citizens.

Starsian Super League

Matchday 6 to 10 recap

Hey hello there and welcome back! last time we showed you the first five matches but meanwhile alot has happened with Star Unicorn reaching further then any other Starsian club in the IFCF competition!
They have now been able to focus on the league again and man it showed off, Angela Diaz and Kendra Halisovic have been a nightmare for many defenders those last few weeks and we are taking you through the field as we go.

First is still Lunar Prime, the surprising rookie team profits greatly from goalkeeper Calvin Princeton who keeps all games of his team at a low score and Bertha Bernard being a pillar of support on the midfield.
Without their support this team would not be in the lead, some people even suggested that Princeton should once again be called up for the national team despite choosing to quit it years ago and he was in fact called by coach Walcott to attend the next tournament.
This would have been the Campeonato Esportiva in which she'd wanted to call up Princeton as a back-up goalkeeper behind Davis which would have been the first time a quit international would have made his return.
However Princeton has declined the invitation, while he to the media stated the invitation to him was a sign of acknowledgement for his current great form he has been of the firm believe that the next generation should take the stage.

''I've been the first goalkeeper for many years and while i find it very kind that i was asked back, i prefer to focus on the league games with everything i have and my goal this season is to make this rookie team champions.
They have the motivation but they will also need guidance and luck on their side, i can help with the guidance but i dont influence luck!''

In second place we find Blizzard Academy, the traditional top team has climbed its way up to this position with Holly Moonlight playing her best season in years again and Lina Hansen taking on more of a leadership role.
She has been taking up more responsibility and this has been rewarded with the long wished starter spot for the Campeonato playing a better season then Karazhan and also still developing more as the years go by.
Blizzard has an aging team their coach Bill Davison knows that this is the year to become champion if this team wants it, alot of them are getting older and have been unable to play during the league shutdown and want to win atleast one prize before its over, they are motivated and strong in their matches beating also major team Cascade recently on their way.

In third place we find Star Unicorn, they were near last after the first five matches but in five more weeks worked themselves up to the top with again incredible preformance from Diaz and Halisovic just like last year.
Noemi Szabo is this years rookie in the team but she so far has been making a good impression and shown herself to be ready to compete at this level and ready to bring her skill to the game, the midfielder last year made her debut but now has become a regular.
Further besides this Angela Diaz topscorer of Star Unicorn last year and one of the best players they ever had at the club has been currently involved into charity work for the local children in Greenville one of the merged cities that form Star Unicorn.
She has become ambassador for the Greenville Sports Initiative, with this she wants to support the local children as Greenville is quite poor to pursue their sports dreams whether its football, hockey, racing or even chess according to Diaz all children should be free to pursue their dreams in whatever form that may be.
Angela Diaz as ambassador brought in support from many local companies and sports clubs who also just like her believe in the power of local talent and together they hope that years from now many great sports talents from their region can be brought forward, or atleast just those children who can say they had the chance to see their dreams come true no matter your family's wealth.

Next on the ranking we find Cascade with Kira Blade, with a new season Blade seemed to have regained new confidence and energy as she has shown more prescence across the field and more support to her younger teammates.
Kira is a legend herself but many of us look up to her, in football but also in daily life her motivation and determination is really admirable and she has been investing alot of time into working with the new youth players that are on the reserves now.
Many of them who hope to become what Kira Blade already is and who also grew up seeing her play in the league and on international tournaments and this has been paying off as their substitutions whenever needed have been very good.
No nervous players no mistakes, they all have gained confidence in their own abilities and Kira Blade when asked told us she has found a new goal that she hopes to pursue and that is to use her talent, her experience and her vision to help the younger players overcome their own obstacles and they on their turn have learned Kira alot about their way of approaching the game and their football.

Equinox and Ancient Forest are next on the list, Ancient Forest has signed foreign youngster Tyeffaine Mariage from Gouvanarch and while she is a reserve for now she is the wanted future striker who until then will make the occasional appearance.
She recently has made her debut replacing Adina Popescu against the Desert Lions where she immediately made herself important by scoring the first and only goal of the match with incredible technique and surprise.
Due to her being a relative unknown no one expected her to be that good already and she was very glad after the match to make such a good impression and hopes to put up a good season with her team as Equinox just keeps floating midtable as usual.

Next are Rose Gryphon and Blue Lagoon.
Gryphon surprisingly is midtable now after the great exit of nearly all reserves last transfer window and from there they have to build on a new team and Adam Atkinson from Myrtle Beach has been a part of this rebuilding.
This 22 year old midfielder has proven to be a solid addition, not the best but certainly not the worst doing his part very well and also fitting in surprisngly well in a team not speaking the same language and that was doing very bad last year, to hop on such a sinking ship was certainly a risk but he has taken that risk and so far it seems to be paying off and the fans have embraced him aswell.

Blue Lagoon has signed a supertalent one thats very young but the potential to become very big Elvira Kraemer from Norrhem has carried this team hard through the ranks as they are the weakest team in the league at this moment.
But she has scored several goals and has the most assists of her team showing great potential winning various matches with the team and shes seen as one of the most important rookie players this season with great value on and off the field.
With only 20 years she is currently working on a very good season and also possible the youngest starter in the league with some others also aged 20 and from here on out we really want to see what she can achieve this season beyond this.

We find the rest of the teams in a usual fasion but still at the bottom is Phoenix United who is currently running a disaster of a season and the board already has been discussing the termination of Pescado's contract, this also happened last year and this time they do not intent to wait until halfway through and if there is no improvement within 5 weeks he will be fired most likely.
There are currently no known candidates who would be able to take over, one of the names that was mentioned was Valerian but given he is 1st with Lunar Prime at the moment this is unlikely other name's that have circulated have been Maximillian Flare, Horus Mordov and Luca Viloca of which Viloca seems the most realistic option but we will keep you updated on this.

Starsian Supercup

Quarter finals

As the first edition of the Starsian Supercup goes on the quarter finals have appeared before us with some great teams in it, Star Unicorn and Pegasus Orb who earned a bye with their top 2 placement last year are also entering now.
Star Unicorn has the toughest opponent playing against an awakened Amazona that has been improving their game throughout the season nad is bringing forward great new talent to play at home and also overseas, however Star Unicorn has Angela Diaz and many more stars that became champions last year earning Star Unicorn its first ever championhip.

Pegasus Orb plays against the Desert Lions, they havent been running too good of a season so a good result in the cup games could really bring up their motivation and their spirit despite having quite some talent in their ranks.
With Zachary White and Beatrice Fiore now both being regular starters they have some great players for the future and also still dont forget the like of Grace Edwards and Elizabeth Phillips who carry the team forward.

As the quarter finals kicked off the first match was between Cascade and Ancient Forest, Cascade was doing good in the league but also really wanted to win the cup for the first time and Ancient Forest despite some talents was lesser in power.
When the match arrived and both teams fielded their squads Ancient Forest was able to keep Cascade pretty much contained and in balance with a good defense coordinated by NT player Naimee Chiruchu.
During halftime to force a goal Cascade's coach Adam Kayden subbed Chloe Hernandez off for Sienna Johnson and brought in Ava Scott instead of Lauren Brown but this turned out to be a losing decision as it only made Ancient Forest stronger.
Those young players simply werent able to keep the pace of the experienced players and Adina Popescu was subbed off for Svetlana Markova bringing in youth and more physical power in the opposing offense aswell.
In the late game it was from a corner kick Schulz who decided the game with a brilliant header past Taylor the young goalkeeper who has been running a pretty good season for a rookie having quite big shoes to fill.
Ancient Forest moves on to the semfinals and they will meet a strong team regardless of the outcome of the other game.
This other game between Amazona United and Star Unicorn kicked off a few minutes later and Buster from Amazona opened the score but this before halftime got equalized by Angela Diaz placing the ball past the keeper from great distance.
In the second half no substitutions were made both teams having a good squad but the youth not experienced enough to debut and those teams not making the same mistake has Cascade had done on that same day.
It was halfway through the second half after good combination play Kendra Halisovic who scored from a 1 on 1 after not being selected for the actual national team after even making it into the provisional squad was quite sad for her, however Kendra showed to be able to bounce back from this one with excellent play and showing that even without international experience she is a great player.
Reason why she was not selected? Iris Olivier was deemed more suitable for the spot although many speculate the association had a hand in this due to Olivier being a rising star and threatened to deny any future invitations if she after a good last season aswell wasnt selected.

In Bracket B we find Pegasus Orb and the Desert Lions battling it out and certainly the winner is no surprise as Pegasus Orb has better and stronger players all across the field and Desert Lions could only do so much.
Rania al Abdullah tried to bring them back into the game but this was to no avail, Elizabeth Phillips and Madison Reyes ensured Pegasus Orb's entrance into the semifinals where they would meet a strong team possibly even a superstrong team.
Phoenix United and Mount Olympus are both teams so far running a disaster of a season honestly and despite efforts to get them back on track so far it was to no avail and the only luck is that all teams at the bottom are close in points.....and the fact you just cant relegate so there is nothing to worry about even if you are currently in the last place at all.
But those bottom rank teams still host some of the best players and its lowest ranked team Phoenix that advances to the semfinals having earned various championships in the past they still may dream of this trophy in its inaugural running, for a team running such a season having success in this cup is a positive point of light in an otherwise pretty shadowed year.

Starsian Superleague

Matchday 11 to 15 recap

Hello and welcome everyone, today we have another recap of the last few matches played in the Starsian Superleague currently as IFCF rankings are out our league seeing the largest increase in ranking in history.
Last season when the league in modern style restarted we were ranked 87th due to various times we have been unable to compete in the multiverse competitive matches however with last years season and the best run ever by Star Unicorn we rise through the ranks.
At the current moment as we speak the Starsian Superleague is the 63th highest ranked league in the entire multiverse making our league more attractive to stronger players aswell as giving teams more opportunities to hopefully sell players overseas.
While on a league level we are doing good because of missed cycles our clubs arent doing that well in the rankings, our best team is in the 295th place which is Star Unicorn after their amazing run this cycle.

We expect however as years go by our teams and our league will climb the ranks and become more competitive and it proves that the restructuring of the league by Marcus Blade association president was a worthwile investment.
He back then announced it as an investment in the future of sports and rightfully so it seems as now the benefits are starting to become visible and the Starsian league has been more lively and competitive then ever, it is also expected that between now and 5 years another two teams may see their entry in the league although this currently has not been confirmed yet.
Many amateur clubs are seeking the way but the main problem is that there is nothing inbetween the Superleague and the amateur clubs and financing a pro side in the Starsian nation is simply extremely expensive to do so.

If we look at the current league standings we see that Lunar Prime still maintains their first spot however Blizzard Academy equal in points to them and even did lead the league for a little but currently is behind in goal diffrence.
This rookie team has been a similar surprise to the Storm Wolves last season who came out of nowhere and lead the league for the first half of the season to be overtaken by later champions Star Unicorn who are not at a too far distance this year either.
On the other hand Blizzard Academy has been working hard for that lead and remains competitive with great skill they defeat opponent after opponent and Holly Moonlight in contention for this years topscorer title even.
In an interview we had earlier with Holly she said to be really happy with the current form she has and that the team vibe is very good motivating her to work hard for them but also to really embrace her final season.
On the question if she would be open to extend her career if a good offer came Holly replied to keep an open mind at all times towards it but that she did not expect anything as it would be just as beautiful to end her career here and bring her team to a championship or atleast an IFCF spot which they really wanted to compete in again.
If Blizzard were to win it would be for the first time since the 2025/2026 season that they take the title so 13 years their fans are waiting now and it would also bring them in titles equal to their predecessor and now amateur counterpart Nordere Lande.

In third we find a shocking team, its Rose Gryphon a team reaching an all time low last season and saw all their reserves leave and now starting from the bottom they have worked up their way to a very good position in the league.
Rose Gryphon has not won a title since the 1975/1976 season when their team was on an all time high and they took it home the last matchday beating Phoenix United for that title against all odds.
These days usually Rose Gryphon is referred to as a mid tier sometimes even a bit below mid tier team but the way they have turned around their luck and their season has been incredible and many fans hope this can be maintained so they can dream big.

Next up we find 3 teams with the same amount of points, Star Unicorn first having the best goal diffrence as last years champions they are doing quite well still in contention for an IFCF spot and also not out of the cup competition yet.
On all fronts Star Unicorn has become a household name for good allround players that may not be famous but strong in their own right with Angela Diaz as one of their more known ambassadors at the front.
Star Unicorn is close to becoming one of the top teams it seems but the question is whether they can turn that into more championships or not as the traditional clubs with long standing histories are not easy to beat both on the field and on the market.
Behind them we find Phoenix United, they have done an amazing job going from last place all the way to 5th place in a span of mere weeks and the board has decided just like last year the coach can finish the season.
In a dramatic fashion they have been storming up the fron with a less strong team then in their golden days but still a team capable of winning and seriously competing and that is what they at this club want to see, being in the run for prizes and even in the cup competition they are doing good they are currently in the semifinals and they are favourites to win their semifinal, they currently look still for more but they also have alot of work to do if they do want to catch up to the three leaders.
Behind them we find another rookie team Blue Lagoon, this team is the weakest in the league but has been doing surprisingly well and one of their key players has become the 20 year old Elvira Kraemer developing very well.
Many stronger teams are interested likely in signing her for next season but no concrete offers have been put on the table, it is clear though Blue Lagoon is gonna set a very high price because they certainly wish to keep her at the club.

From here on out it runs down point by point everything is pretty close together with the only odd one out is Pegasus Orb being almost last after a very good run last year and they now seem to struggle against teams.
Its unsure how this will develop but its clear that they arent where they want to be, they host many strong players and their fans and the board are expecting improvement atleast against weaker teams as they could easily be able to finish mid table.
They are still conteding for the cup competition but in the semifinals their opponent is Phoenix United who is currently riding the momentum really well and they are seen as the underdogs for that match to come.
If they somehow manage to win that match it could be a good motivation for the team just like it was for Phoenix to improve greatly, we look forward to seeing them there and for now we close it off with the current standings.

Starsian Supercup

Semifinals

Hi folks and welcome to the first match of the semifinals of the Starsian Supercup where Ancient Forest plays against Star Unicorn and this match is played in the Ragnarok stadium home of Cascade but now stage of this match.
Both teams have defeated their previous opponents and worked hard to get where they are right now, Star Unicorn is currently seen as the big favourite of this match due to a better squad in quality.
However dont count out Ancient Forest with players such as Kai Schulz and Naimee Chiruchu having internationals on their side where Star Unicorn can rely on Angela Diaz, Kendra Halisovic and Matthias Weber as players to look out for.
Winner of this match will play the final in the Starset stadium where also the National squad plays its matches and has its homebase, currently the two teams are getting ready as we take the starting lineups through with you.

Ancient Forest starts with, Petrov, Vasiliev, Chiruchu, Horvat, Kovacs, Ivanova, Petrova, Krause, Markov instead of popescu, Schulz and Almeida rounding their starting eleven with only Popescu not in the usual place.
She will be on the bench waiting for an opportunity, with her retirement at the end of the season the coach wants likely to use this match to give Markova more experience however a semifinal may not be the best situation, though we will see what she can show us.

Star Unicorn on the other hand has a stonger and more experienced team overall, their starting lineup is, Jennings, Braixon, Watson, Leroy, Morelos, Szabo, McArthur, Weber, Halisovic, Diaz and Tolisso.
Nothing special there the usual eleven players, they are here to win and wanna win the inaugural title, a league championship back to back is rare and has not happened in a long time so it is unlikely they want to rely on the championship chances.
They shake hands and Star Unicorn chooses the kick-off.
As Star Unicorn kicks off they rapidly ramp up their offensive playstyle pushing Ancient Forest back into the defense, its clear Star Unicorn is the stronger team but in the first fifteen minutes they hold up very well and then a counter attack comes, with Markova and Schulz combining very well Schulz can take a shot on goal but Jennings punches it away.
Niah Jennings was a youth international but never had the breakthrough she hoped for with players like Princeton, Valverde, and Daniel O'Keith being preferred over her but she is still a first class goalkeeper and with the corner following that punch she easily catches the ball and starts the next offensive in the 35th minute where now Diaz has an opportunity but Horvat with a sliding prevents it.
Halftime was reached with a few more small chances but both defense and goalkeepers were holding up big time and it was unclear which team would eventually come out on top from this match.

In the second half Ancient Forest made two subs, Markova and Petrova were taken off which for Petrova came as a surprise and she was quite angry and frustrated about it given everyone including her thought she was a certainity for this game.
Adina Popescu replaced Markova, experience up front needed aswell as giving Popescu the chance to use all energy in only a single half to make more physical demanding plays, replacing Petrova was 18 year old rookie player Geoffrey Richter who was known as a very big talent in their ranks but he did barely have any experience except from youth tournaments and some youth matches.
Bringing him in was a great risk but he seemed very confident and this showed in his first moment he had everything the calmth the vision and the trust in his team and his team helped him through the first minutes very well.
No substitutions for Star Unicorn and this would be for the better as they kept eachother at balance for a while more until Angela Diaz in the 72th minute from long distance hammered the ball into the back of the net without any mercy or ability for the goalie to react, Star Unicorn was in the lead and they would keep that lead until the 90th minute and win this game.

At the same time another match was going on, Pegasus Orb was taking on Phoenix United also for a spot in the final match for the Supercup and both teams here had similar chances even if Phoenix was slightly favoured.
Pegasus Orb had various good players, Grace Edwards, Zachary White, Elizabeth Phillips, Beatrice Fiore where they did not really have a great season and looked to make this up with a good run in the cup competition.
Phoenix United had climbed itself from the bottom to 5th place right now, they had been doing an incredible job the last few weeks and a cup win would be very historic for them, their predecessor team Columbia United was holding the record for most league titles but Phoenix wanted to make new history for themselves and leave their old roots behind.
This club belonged to the historical top teams the pride of the south, the best players of the south were on this team, Valverde, Zaratti the new rookie player Clara Perez and Victoria Tolisso among others and they had some strong youth players up and coming after losing other important players and it was believed those teams would keep themselves quite in the balance.

Pegasus Orb kicked off and quickly scored through Elizabeth Phillips taking an early lead in minute 21 the crowd went wild in the UniTech arena the Amazona United stadium as an early goal could make a huge impact.
Phoenix as a club with a history was not impressed yet and Zaratti called his team together giving them instructions and after the next kick off it seemed as if they had been improved just by those words, Pegasus Orb was unable to get through the defense suddenly and when Phoenix countered in the 44th minute and scored the 1-1 by Tolisso Pegasus Orb took a big morale hit.
Halftime was called and Pegasus Orb would have certainly good talks about what happened and how they seemingly gave it away to Phoenix and they with their talent should be able to win this game no substitutions were made ofcourse on their side although many knew that Pegasus Orb simply did not have any good reserves only some young teenagers.
Phoenix on the other hand substituted Carmen Hernandez who they all knew was past her peak and they looked to let her go sooner or later and U21 team ace striker Paula Nuñez was brought in as she collected cheers from the crowd and her teammates being happy to see her making an appearance as she did more and more in the league and now also her first cup appearance.
Within 15 minutes after the 2nd half started Phoenix was up a goal and 10 minutes later she scored her second goal already showing exceptional class as she almost quite literally ran circles around the opposing defense, as time ticked away Phillips with an individual action scored her second goal of the day and attempted to equalize it but Valverde caught the ball.
In the last minute Valverde the goalkeeper needed to make one save after the other getting no rest from anyone or anything and the final whistle seemed like a real savior to him as he was the first one to celebrate them reaching the finals, Phoenix United won the game and moved on to the finals where they would meet Star Unicorn and battle it out for the trophy.

Starsian Supercup the final

It was finally this day, the first Starsian Supercup final and two very strong teams would be battling for the first ever Starsian Supercup but not only that but also would the first IFCF ticket be given out to the winner.
Winners of the cup would go on the battle it out with other cup winners next year in the IFCF, so there was certainly alot at stake for both teams Phoenix not being sure of any IFCF spot with a less strong team then past years and Star Unicorn being pretty much in the race for IFCF spots certainly wanted to atleast secure multiverse football and make history here and now.

Both teams had their usual lineups, no changes and it was very nice that both coaches Ricardo Pescado and Gordon Borov knew eachother very well as Borov was staff member of the national team when Pescado was a player on the team.
Those days are long gone though and we currently are in the year 2039 where the modern players are kicking off for the Starsian Supercup final with both teams starting out a bit cautious trying out eachother and seeking weak spots.
Phoenix overall had the upper hand at first but gradually this shifted with Star Unicorn fielding more quality on the field and taking more and more the initiative but unable to score thanks to a stellar preformance of Valverde, he was dropped from the squad in favor of Liv Dahl a younger goalkeeper due to earlier poor results but he showed to not be giving up and wishing to get back on the team.
Coach Walcott of the national team was spotted in the VIP lounge of the stadium, the further into the first half the more boring it became with both teams not wanting to make mistakes and the only danger being Tolisso with a shot once but an easy prey for Jennings as they ended the first half with an equal score and fans who expected more fireworks but ended up with a pretty boring match.

In the second half this continued but the chances became better as both teams searched for holes in the opposing defense and the goalkeepers of both teams excelling greatly in their ability to keep their teams in the game.
Even some risks taken by coaches seemed to not work but Star Unicorn without people noticing had gotten the upper hand in terms of possesion and were pressing Phoenix back more and more, by the time that coaches asked their players to hurry as there was less then 10 minutes on the clock the real match began to be played.
Chances left and right the speed of the game increased and fast passing and great combination play was shown with Hernande nearly beating Jennings and scoring but Jennings stopped the ball and threw it forward to Weber who passed a great pass to Halisovic dribbling past multiple defenders giving an assist to Diaz who shot with a slight effect onto the ball so it turned past Valverde into the side of the net as the crowd went silent for a moment then erupted in a roar as Angela Diaz scored the first goal, maybe even the final goal to put her team on an advantage with very little time to go and Star Unicorn close to truly making history.
Time ticked away a substitution bringing Nunez in was to no avail with Star Unicorn keeping the defense closed and they played out the remaining time seeing Star Unicorn with the first ever Starsian Supercup and also the first IFCF ticket

In an interview with woman of the match Angela Diaz,

reporter: ''Angela congratiulations first the championship now the Supercup how does that feel to win two prizes in such a short timespan?''

Diaz: ''Awesome really i always liked the people, the players everything here when i was signed as free agent i was welcomed with open arms even if i was only a 21 year old nobody back then and a risk to sign for any club.
What these people have done for me and my career and for the entire country its great really great!''

reporter: ''So you will be playing IFCF next season but can you guys also do the impossible and win back to back championships and become the first team ever to win the national double winning both the cup and the league?''

Diaz: ''We are gonna try, the competition is very strong though many great teams great players we cant underestimate their efforts, we have done a great effort winning the cup and we are still within reach of a league title again.''

reporter: ''You are the most successful foreign player ever here? do you feel an example for other players who would want to try their luck here and what would you want to say to those players?''

Diaz: ''Only thing i can say is sign up if you get the chance, especially free agents its an awesome opportunity for young inexperienced players to learn and develop here in a highly competitive environment.
I wouldnt call myself an example but i hope that i can show how good this league is and be a good ambassador for this league and this nation towards other countries so these teams in the future can also attract international stars.''

reporter: ''Have you never dreamed about a bigger club, more money more fame more chances?''

Diaz: ''Ofcourse but as i said these people here have always believed in me from the very start, i dont think ill ever find the same feelings in another country that i find playing in this league and i hope to stay for many years to come.''

Matchday 16 to 20 recap

Hey hello we've got some more games played in the Starsian Superleague for you and with many players leaving to play in the Campionato Esportiva the coming weeks are the chance for the young players to prove themselves.
So before we go through the rankings first and foremost we will go with you through the Internationals and their replacements at the time because there are alot of players gone to the National Team and its also a chance to shake up the rankings.

Ancient Forest Has Naimee Chiruchu, Kai Schulz and Cristiano Almeida heading off with the Natioal team so especially their offensive players need a good replacement for the coming matches as they will be absent.
Tyeffaine Mariage will replace Kai Schulz as striker, Darka Pribonic a 16 year old will replace Cristiano Almeida and make her league debut and Naimee Chiruchu will be replaced by Zoran Jankovic during her abscence, Tyeffaine Mariage has as only player earlier made her league debut and did not get any call ups for her own nation so she now can make name for herself in the league.
Star Unicorn is sending off Matthias Weber and Angela Diaz as players who will be replaced by Calvin Liu a bit of a mediocre player hes not too good and replacing Diaz is Antonia Greco a talentful striker as Diaz heads to Riena to play for South Newlandia.
Rose Gryphon has to miss Gaelle Moreau who will be replaced by Laurent Dufour a promising defender who despite not making his league debut yet has shown in the youth teams that he is very capable and consistent.
Phoenix will have to miss Federico Zaratti from the starting line-up a hard hit as he is their key defender and one of their best players and Yeray Vargas has the tough task of playing in his position and coordinating defense together with an inexperienced Clara Perez who has been having a great season but she does not have the experience yet to lead the defense.
Victoria Tolisso in the meantime will become temporarily captain of Phoenix United until Zaratti returns.

Blizzard has to miss Daniel O'Keith, Jade Williams and Lina Hansen and this is tough given replacing a goalkeeper is not as easy as it sounds and Daniel is not even first goalie on the national team and Blizzard had rather kept him.
Jens Graversen will be the goalkeeper until he returns, Sally Kruse joins in the defense and Ray Gunnarson will cover for Lina Hansen on the midfield replacing important positions with inexperienced rookies like most teams, this is also why they are currently working on a youth league although the transition will be time consuming.
Cascade only has to miss Kira Blade the 16 year old rookie Kimora Frazier will be filling in making her league debut, she is by many seen as the new Kira however this young woman will still have to gain experience to live up to that.
Desert Lions is missing Ozan Karazhan, Diego Ortega, Samir Arash and Rania Al-Abdullah replacing them with Gokhan Bicer, Zalika El-Sadat, Mesut Karatay and Nafeesa El-Munir.

Pegasus Orb will miss, Zachary White, Grace Edwards, Beatrice Fiore and Elizabeth Phillips and replacing them are, Bethany Harper, Brandon Blanchard, Jenna O'Brien and Shayla Snyder respectively.
Equinox with bad season will have to replace Maddie Saturn and Joy Sol their key players, Drake Mejia and Kaida Dragonfang are entasked with this seeing this as opportunity to show themselves to the rest of the league although without their key players things look bad.
Malin Jansson is the only player from the Storm Wolves to be picked, he will respectively see Paula Schreiber a very promising rookie player take his spot for the coming weeks as they replace a good player with a great talent.
Amazona United sees Petra Rafaelov, Layla Raharinaivo and Iris Olivier depart for Riena and they have Lynn Richmond, Luke Ingham and Preston Harris to replace those players with Lynn Richmond being a real talent and the other two just regular reserves.
Joyce Villegas and Christian Fourseasons will both depart for Riena aswell, for Christian Fourseasons this is probably his last tournament ever for the national team retiring after this season as international to focus on the league a few more years.
Joyce Villegas has not decided on retirement yet but she is not a certainity for next seasons national team yet, for now Giulio Morefield and Joanna Bressing will take their places and keep the team afloat.

Lunar Prime has no internationals despite them doing very well in the league, Calvin Princeton was asked to return but he declined stating that the new generation has to prove themselves now and that he wants to give those players room.
Blue Lagoon the other rookie team sees Liv Dahl their goalkeeper go, they do not replace them with a rookie and do not ask how they did this but they have convinced previously retired goalkeeper Tom Feeney to become goalkeeper of the team with a contract for only the matches that Liv Dahl is not able to attend after which Feeney will go back into retirement.
Tom Feeney is 39 years old and a former international and even 1st goalkeeper before Calvin Princeton replaced him, his return stunned many fans but they are very glad to see an old legend return and he himself who is now doing work for the national youth teams aswell.

''I am not getting any younger, if i want to play one more time in an official match this is my last chance and i will do everything i can to help the team forward and bring experience to this new team.''

It was later announced that Dave Carlsson will replace Feeney as goalkeeper trainer for the natioal team.

League standings

Surprising everynone Rose Gryphon has played very well the last few matches and took the lead, this hasnt happened in a very long time and even if it is still far away some fans in the city of Roseville start to fantasize about a championship.
It has been decades since they last won a championship and especially after last year it would be a huge turnaround but then again Lunar Prime and Ancient Forest are also only a few points away one slip up and they take it away.
Lunar Prime has seen a good season and is on the course for an IFCF spot however they rather take the championship as it would be the first time ever a rookie team won the league since more then a century.
Ancient Forest has had a great season but the question is whether Schulz not being there will affect them.

Everyone from Star Unicorn until the Desert Lions in the ranking has still chances to move up and down the ranking however they need the top teams to have a slip up if they really wanna become a threat to them.
Each team in the midtable is like a point away from eachother making it change constantly, all teams are very competitive this season and this also makes for a great season finale when all players return from Riena to finish the season with your best 11 player on the field and give it everything you've got for an IFCF spot or just generally a better ranking.
Equinox, Pegasus Orb and Mount Olympus can be pretty much counted out, those teams have had quite a bad season up till now and they are 5 or more points away from the midtable and unless they really start winning consistenly their season does not have much hope, Pegasus Orb really has had a bad season especially considering they have so many good players on their roster.
The end of the season draws near and thus the question we now ask is who is the most likely to win the championship? we asked the Starsian fans and here is what they have predicted to happen.

Matchday 21 to 25 recap + season final preview

Hey folks welcome back to a new recap of the Starsian Superleague, lot of matches have been played and the chase for the championship has never been more exciting with many smaller teams competing.
Realistically with only 1 matchday to go there are 4 teams in the hunt for a league title and those all are teams you would usually never even expect to content for a title but it has been such a year where all major teams just didnt get their momentum going.
Cascade has struggled and losing Princeton was very tough, further with an aging midfield it starts to lose its former glory and the current teams competing for the league title have taken good profit of this opportunity.

Currently Lunar Prime on goal diffrence is leading the league, they have shown a strong season all year long signing some veterans most notably Calvin Princeton former national team goalkeeper and still one of the best.
They have had a very good defense but also signing veterans like Bertha Bernard previously Phoenix United and Valery Saire previously Amazona United they have really gotten together as a team and surprised friend and enemy with their game, coach Morris Valerian who was fired at Cascade due to poor results took lead of the squad and has led them all to this point.
In an interview we had with him earlier he stated that the team has really a good balance but also a good atmosphere and motivation that was forged through the season through many hardships and many matches they played together, he would find a championship the crown on the work but also realizes this is very wishful thinking as its been more then a century since a rookie team won the league.
Starsia City was the last rookie team to win the league in their first season in 1883/1884 season and if Lunar Prime would accomplish this feat they would quite literally make history with their team.

With the same amount of points but a lower goal diffrence is Rose Gryphon, they have turned their stuff around and ran a great season and they are so close to winning the league now that they cannot afford to lose it.
Their fans have been waiting 63 years to get this opportunity again as they last time won it in 1975/1976 after a very tough season and to be so close now really shows how this team nearly falling apart last year now runs in the top region and almost certainly secured a spot in the IFCF ranks a feat which hasnt been achieved in years either the last time being like a decade ago in the challengers cup perhaps.
Coach Kim Burns was entasked with the heavy duty of bringing this second to last team from last year now up to the a higher placing but no one including herself had expected this team to be in contention for the championship.
Kim Burns the 50 year old coach explained that this shows the determination of not only this team but also the fans, the staff and anyone who holds this club dear to keep supporting them even in hard times and now its their time to reward them for that support.

In 3rd only 2 points behind and with a very good goal diffrence we find the Storm Wolves, they are bitter rivals of Blizzard but besides that have again ran a really good season and are establishing themselves as a household name now.
With two young talents this year Sarah Huber and Johanna Koch they have really increased their skill and are now even contending for the championship which they, last year lost on the very last matchday to Star Unicorn.
This year was gonna be our year is what they thought at the Storm Wolves camp, they had the quality and they had a good coach in Julia Bressing that used to play for Blizzard before Storm Wolves was created but sees both teams having played an important role in her development as a player as she worked with players and staff from both sides.
Bressing really has coached her team well and is even considered a possibly as future top coach but right now she really likes to point out her players deserve that championship more then anything, for redemption of last year but also for the retirees who last year saw their dream go up in smoke and the fans who had to go through so much heartbreak as they saw the title disappear in front of their eyes.

In 4th and the last team having a shot at the championship is Ancient Forest with 2 points behind and a bad goal diffrence, however technically they can also still become champion but they need to hope for a slip up of other teams.
If it comes down to goal diffrence there is a big chance that they will lose, they need to hope that all top 3 teams have serious slip ups and lose for them to become champion so their hopes are very little but they are very realistic about it.
Ozray Karazhan who has been Ancient Forest's coach for years now is not gonna focus on the championship with his team, he has told us they will do their part and attempt to win the match with as many goals as is possible but the rest is simply not in their hands.
Whatever they end up on the ranks they can look back on a good season and most likely IFCF football which can help attract better players and also maybe make their team more relevant in the multiverse as they seek to become a stronger team.
Ancient Forest in the recent years has grown and become a better team however they havent been able to try for a league title in a long time and despite it being a nice thought they are not gonna hope for something that is not realistic, that also answers the question that they had no victory preparations and in the case the league would go crazy and they end up as the champion they will improvise on the spot.

Further 2 teams outside this top 4 can still steal IFCF football away from this top 4 so there is certainly still things to battle for aswell as the 2nd place getting a bye in the first round of the Starsian Supercup next year.
Blue Lagoon has ran a strong season aswell as a rookie team and is currently 5th but they can still reach an IFCF spot if the teams above them were to make any serious slip ups and they only have to win the last match to really put pressure on the rest.
In 6th we find the only traditional top team that still has anything to battle for besides ranking honors, Phoenix United started off very bad but climbed its way back up and still has a chance to reach an IFCF spot, the conditions for that are the same as with Blue Lagoon the other teams must slip up and the only thing Phoenix United can do to influence this is to win their own match.
Phoenix has dropped a little in quality but certainly is still a relevant top team that can easily steal away your victory on a good day and they have done that this season more then once and hopefully with good youth players coming they can build on a better future.

Blizzard and Star Unicorn are below them and no longer able to play multiverse football next season but they can still pass Phoenix and Blue Lagoon in the rankings if they slip up so they have a good average season.
Equinox and Mount Olympus are bottom of the table this season, Olympus lost all balance between old and new players and they need all veterans to stay to keep somewhat relevant results and even Seya Avelona could not prevent this.
It is expected not much in their roster will chance as the veterans age and the rookies gain more experience but until they have significant experience it will be very tough for them to get around and Equinox with their aging key players sees its good generation fade and replaced by okay and decent youth but no longer players who could really decide a match like Joy Sol among others.

Matchday 26 the season finale

Hey there, good to see you here on this final matchday of the Starsian Superleague.
Man it has been a moving season, various teams having their ups and downs but it all comes down to this a four way battle for the league championship IFCF spots and a huge financial bonus for the teams who come out of this as the victors!
Who will crown themselves champions today? rookie team Lunar Prime trying to make history? maybe Rose Gryphon who have bee waiting several decades? Storm Wolves who last year saw it go out of their hands on this dreaded day? or maybe can Acient Forest pull off a real stunt and push all teams aside to clinch the title for themselves despite very little chances?
Regardless of who wins its been a moving season and this season also marks the end of an era a transition period of generations with the generation of the 2000s players who are in the 30s all now will the coming years slowly disappear, they have made way for the 2010s generation and even some very early 2020s players who dominate the fields now.
football has changed, our nation has changed and technology around us has changed and will continue to change as we progress but this moment in history will be deciding and will be talked about for years to come and it will be part of a centuries long legacy of football.

We start today with the match between Blue Lagoon and Mount Olympus, both teams having nothing to battle for anymore and take it seemingly easy however it Mount Olympus who takes that final season win.
Veteran striker Christian Fourseasons makes two goals and decides the game even if Blue Lagoon by Elvira Kraemer manages to get one back it is to no avail and a season ends for Blue Lagoon a good debut for Mount Olympus a dramatic season marked by failure.
Previous managers have messed up the squad balance bringing too many youth players in and now those youth players cannot yet match with the league teams and for that reason the board cannot blame the coach either, she had to do the best with the players she had and without squad balance and good team chemistry things just dont work out.
It is expected some youths might be asked to go or even trades with other teams or foreign players coming to this team on a free transfer seems to be the way to go as they look for improvement but not this year, this year is one they wish to forget.

In the second match Equinox and Pegasus Orb battle it out, both teams at the bottom of the standings having seen tough season even despite Pegasus Orb having a really strong team and an IFCF spot last year just this year it didnt work.
They didnt do exactly bad but it was a combination of international breaks, unlucky losses and just generally not finding the right momentum in the season and its known that Rojan Carerez the coach has announced his resignation after this season, its unclear if it was his own decision but many people find it a good decision that he has made, taking responsibility and they look to a new coach for next season.
Equinox on the other hand struggles with an aging strong team but little to no actual good youth players, only a few such as Lexi lowe and Deandre Sears and Jason Moon seem to be really talented but others also just really not.
There have been rumours about one of the forwards being released from the club due to them wishing to bring in younger players however it is unclear who or what and just as unclear is whether coach Zouma will stay or not at the club.

Next the first match that actually matters its Phoenix United against the Desert Lions, while there is nothing to gain for the Lions anymore Phoenix must secure a win to have any chance at IFCF football next season.
Coach Ricardo Pescado and his team started off very bad then worked their way up in the rankings week by week to this moment, the board at the early season close to firing him again just like last season has now had Ricardo sign a new contract, they are very pleased with the current season and as the only traditional team to have a shot at multiversal football that says something.
Besides the fact those teams had a bad year it shows a shift in power of teams, our league is getting more competitive more equal in terms of skill and even the large traditional teams can end up in a bad spot if its just not their year, however Phoenix still has to win and with a good decent squad they go out there on the field to give it all they've got against an opponent thats tough and defensive.
In the first half Phoenix would dominate and would see their first goal scored by Victoria Tolisso the seasoned veteran hammering it into the back of the net from long range out of reach for the goalkeeper, they made a good start but the match was only just to begin, the Lions knew because they were playing home the warm temperatures would play in their favor.
After half time they started their game and as Phoenix players became exhausted more and more the attacks of the Lions became heavier and heavier with Valverde doing his very best to keep every shot out and for now succeeded in doing so but even he was getting really exhausted to the point one player Ana Diaz (not related to Angela Diaz) collapsed on the field because of exhaustion.

As the medical staff attended to her all 5 substitutions were used....this was almost never seen in Starsian football as the informal agreement was to not use 5 but 3 usually but this was an unwritten agreement as the official rule was 5.
Tolisso, Hernandez, Diaz, Ramos also Valverde were taken off.....yes Phoenix was changing goalkeepers with a slim 1-0 lead a crazy move everyone on the Phoenix bench disagreed with but Pescado shut them up and he did it anyway, he knew he was putting his career on the line and the board was closely following this and if this failed he might still be fired for such a crazy move.
Julia Jimenez, Paula Nunez, Valeria Medina, Blanca Vega and 16 year old youth goalkeeper Zoe Valladares were subbed in, Valladares was very nervous being as young as she is and then to subbed in into a match with so much pressure on her now.
However the new players brough new energy to the team, the remaining players were the stronger and more fit ones and with burning temperatures of approximately 41 degrees celsius the scorching hot sun had done its work on them aswell.
In the following minutes the match went underway and the first shot came from Rania Al-Abdullah and it appeared to be out of reach and everyone saw it already going in until Valladares punched it last minute out of the goal, the goal line technology revealed that the ball had also not been past the line as the Lions claimed and it was no goal.
They didnt stop though and a flurry of attacks and shots followed but the new young and fit players held up very well and together they defended the goal but also their young goalkeeper who made one save after another, probably playing the best match she had ever done in her life until eventually the referee blew the final whistle and Phoenix had done it, they had secured the win as several players collapsed immediately after from exhaustion and medical staff of both Phoenix United but also the Desert Lions attended them and treated the Phoenix players showing great unity and that after a match in the end youre all human.

After a medical report after the match no severe issues had been reported, only some burned skin despite all players using sun protect before the match but it would be reported that it most likely would not pose a significant issue.
Usually the Lions dont play at home late in the season for this season however this time there was no alternative stadium available, the Lions made this agreement in 2019 after a match had been forfeited by Blizzard Academy after all players had collapsed to heat in a match under 50 degrees celsius which had left some players still with certain medical skin issues.

Meanwhile Blizzard in fact had played its last match against Star Unicorn and won, it was also the last match of Holly Moonlight who had been one of the best strikers ever of Blizzard and her retirement was a tough one.
As she was subbed in the 89th minute both teams lined up at each side of her forming a path for her to walk through to the sideline as they gave her a loud applause and the entire stadium chanted her name, she had to shed some tears for a moment as she walked to the side knowing her career as a player was over and her days on the field right now were coming to an end, as we interviewed her after she commented to following to us.
''Today has been very eventful i wanna thank Blizzard and ofcourse our opponents for doing this but also i wanna thank all the great players i was able to meet and the heights and lows i was able to go through including our championship.
It has been a ride and i have seen it all in my career but really, i am closing a chapter in my life today and opening up another one which i never though i would still be blessed with during my life given my age.''

reporter: ''What do you mean with that"

Holly: ''Well, lets say that there will be an heir to my name'' She says with a smile basically saying shes pregnant, it later appeared she had been a few weeks pregnant now but had not told anyone including her teammates fearing they would not let her play.

Chasing the championship

At exactly 14:00 in the afternoon of June 2039 the 3 matches that would determine the champion were kicked off, Rose Gryphon playing against Cascade a very tough opponent, Storm Wolves playing against Ancient Forest and lastly it was Amazona United against Lunar Prime FC also a very tough match given a team like Amazona in good shape always was a threat.
As the match between Cascade and Rose Gryphon got underway it became clear Cascade had the upper hand, Kira Blade and her players dominated the field and right away showed that they did not come here to let Rose Gryphon become the champions, even with nothing to play for Kira had instructed her team to win as their honor and pride was on the line here.
Meanwhile as Storm Wolves opened their match against Ancient Forest it was a very equal match, both teams had their strong points and their weak points and the match would likely be decided by the team that could exploit those the best.
Amazona against Lunar Prime was diffrent tough, Amazona was strong and threatening from the get go, they had new talent and stronger players then the years before and it started to show more with each year passing by, Lunar Prime as a rookie team had some good players around but just in overall terms of skill Amazona was above their level and it would speak in numbers soon.

14:38 - word reaches all fields that Amazona has scored the first goal in their match, a strong run from Iris Olivier surprises Princeton and he was unable to prevent the inevitable and it meant Lunar Prime were a goal behind.
At this time the other matches were still equal, Rose Gryphon and Cascade were more equal in terms of skill now and Storm Wolves had more possesion but was yet unable to translate it into a goal as a roar from the crowd could be heard once info leaked in that Amazona had scored and that Rose Gryphon was stuck against Cascade as it meant things could pretty much turn in their favor.
However the Wolves knew they had to win this one, if they did not Rose Gryphon would walk away with the league title and during halftime it would show in the changed being made by all teams involved.

14:45 - all matches reach halftime and the only substitution in all 3 matches is Adina Popescu being subbed off for the last time in her career in favour of Svetlana Markova as Adina Popescu's career after a good 20 years comes to an end.

15:00 - Teams are back on the field, they kick off for the second half as Rose Gryphon and Cascade continue on the same pace while Amazona seems to become even more dominating on Lunar Prime and the Wolves still need to win if they want any shot at a championship.
All teams are aware of how each of them is doing is live connections between the matches and team staff are present and the captains of each team are regularly updated on the status on the other matches so they can instruct their team accordingly.

15:18 - A huge roar erupts in the Rose Gryphon against Cascade match because Stephanie Marvel from Amazona United has justed scored the second goal for Amazona United basically crushing Lunar Prime's hopes for a championship.
In that match itself the fans of Lunar Prime are devastated, they have seen their team get professional even lead the league for quite some time and now the last day where even a draw could be enough they are losing and losing hard against an established team, Amazona United a team of the big city and big talents such as Iris Olivier now and in the past players such as Raharinaivo and Turner.
They know its over and some fans of Lunar Prime even already move towards the exist, they wanna catch a bullet train or a supersonic plane home early because they simply cannot believe how they gave away the season like this, they are saddened but not mad just sad.

Meanwhile the clock ticks on in the other two matches and the title race seems to be ending between the Wolves and Rose Gryphon as with the current standings Rose Gryphon would be champions but even one goal would make the diffrence.
One single goal could make the diffrence and as the time ticket away in the last 10 minutes the Wolves had pretty much accepted their loss and they still would have an IFCF spot but one player in particular did not accept that fate just yet.
Jönsson was in the middle with the ball, he played a pass to Johanna Koch who moved it up forward a bit but didnt know either what they could still do so late in the game, they had tried everything and nothing seemed to work, this team was tough and one mistake would allow Schulz from Ancient Forest to turn it around so mistakes werent an option her thoughts were interrupted by a screaming Sarah Huber screaming and shouting for her to give the pass forward without thinking a second Koch passed to Huber watching what she would do.
Sarah Huber a winger ran forward avoiding Luka Vasiliev with a very skilled turn with the ball at her feet then her eyes meeting those of NTer Naimee Chiruchu a seasoned played and she couldn't get by her.
But why get by her if she can just shoot? Sarah Huber faked going to the left which surprisingly Chiruchu fell for then placing herself inbetween the ball and Chiruchu she turned back to her other left shooting the ball from the edge of the box as she watched the goalkeeper dive expecting it to be punched out but Alina Petrov was unable to reach it as it went into the net.
For a moment the entire stadium fell silent before a huge roar of thousands of fans erupted as they knew this late goal would give them the win and possibly the entire championship as multiple players rushed to Sarah to congratulate and celerate the goal Sarah even at first not realizing it before her face turned into a happy smile realizing she had scored an amazing goal.

It came as a hard hit for Rose Gryphon and with barely 5 minutes on the clock there was nothing they could do to prevent a draw and they had lost it....they lost the title and in the other stadium now roars of happy fans were heard.
Not Lunar Prime, Not Rose Gryphon but the one and only Storm Wolves had won the championship after a nailbiter of a final matchday and Sarah Huber was surrounded by teammates throwing her in the air a few times as they congratulated her with perhaps the most important goal and moment in her career that only had just begun, a young girl with big hopes and dreams and a bright future ahead.

Meanwhile most of the coaches gave their immediate response, Morris Valerian of Lunar Prime congratulating the Wolves and stating his players did very well and can be proud of themselves of their very first league season.
Kim Burns did the same and added that ofcourse its a bitter pill but she also reminded them last years near last place and that coming from there to where they are now is a huge step and a good step for a better future for this club.
Ricardo Pescado was happy that Phoenix reach the IFCF spots stating his players showed determination and progress and that he hopes to build on this good result next season with a strong Phoenix United team.

Adam Atkinson (Myrtle Beach)
Adam ran a good season with Rose Gryphon as a regular started made many minutes on field and has contributed very well to the team and has assisted in several key moments, a decent player with a bright future.

Tyefainne Mariage (Gouvanarch)
Mariage was an important substitute and even made the starting line-up during the international break which saw Kai Schulz absent, despite her young age Mariage has the ability to really become a great player if her development continues.
It is expected that between now and not too long she will become a starter aswell, this really depends on what Kai Schulz is gonna do but the expectation is that Mariage will be eventually replacing Schulz as the main striker as shes a decade younger then Schulz.

Angela Diaz (South Newlandia)
Diaz is just being Diaz even if the season in the league is not as good as they started they won the cup competition and still took home a prize thanks to Diaz and now Diaz even returned to South Newlandia's national team, her career once again knows alot of heights as she is without a doubt the best and most successful player ever as a non Starsian to play in the league.

Elvira Kraemer (Norrhem)
Dont get me started on Elvira this girl carried this team along with Liv Dahl and Bryan Ashenheart, those young supertalents are so good that it is rumoured many great teams within The 14 Stars now wanna sign Kraemer for next season.

Starsian Supercup

Its this time of the year again, the Starsian domestic soccer season 2039/2040 is kicking off and new this year is that we start off with our cup competition as a general preparation for the upcoming league season.
All teams have prepared for this season while our national team played in the world cup and wrote history for our country, it is expected that internationals will be given time to rest and the line-ups will be slightly adjust to give them a needed break.
Today the draw has concluded and with Storm Wolves and Rose Gryphon placing as the top 2 teams last season they have received a bye for this first elimination round of the cup competition and will join in the next round.

This season also marks the final season of Association President Marcus Blade, he will retire fully after this season to enjoy his retirement as currently 3 hopefuls Maximillian Flare, Julio Reyes and Klaus Meyer seek to replace him as Association President.
This season will be in the light of the vote of players, clubs and sponsors about the next Association President and currently Maximillian Flare is leading Julio Reyes by an 6% margin as Klaus Meyer is probably too far behind to catch up to those two.
Many new faces this season appear in the league and also new nationalities, the first ever Auprussian player Carlou Vertendois is set to make their debut for Star Unicorn in the upcoming match.
We also welcome the first player from the nation of Riena, alot of our players have seen the country already but now the first player from Riena is signed by a Starsian club, youngster Sara Kashiwagi makes her debut against the Auprussian with her team Cascade.
Finally Nelson Carreira a rookie from Tero al Disco will make his debut with Blue Lagoon against major team Phoenix, its a tough spot for Carreira having to replace supertalent Elvira Kraemer who transferred to Storm Wolves.

Lastly this season watch Elvira Kraemer her last season was phenomenal contributing a major part in her teams success earning her a transfer to champions team Storm Wolves where she would look to further develop.
While she is still young there is certainly no doubt that she could also develop the level of an international player for her home country of Norrhem who are relatively unknown to the Starsians except for bringing good youth talents.

With that all being said lets show you the draws.

Bracket A

Mount Olympus - Amazona United
Star Unicorn - Cascade Academy
Equinox United - Desert Lions

Bracket B

Phoenix United - Blue Lagoon
Pegasus Orb - Lunar Prime
Ancient Forest - Blizzard Academy

These draws include intereting features with the most exciting ones on paper being Mount Olympus against Amazona United and also Star Unicorn taking on Cascade Academy.
For those in bracket B its less exciting, the most interesting match may actually be Pegasus Orb against Lunar Prime due to them being more equal in skill as both Blizzard and Phoenix are expected to come off as winners in their respective matches.

And as the matches kick off Mount Olympus and Amazona are the first ones to kick off, at Mount Olympus only Joyce Villegas is missing from the regular starters and Joanna Bressing is playing in her spot.
At Amazona who hosts more internationals important players like Petra Rafaelov, Layla Raharinaivo and also Iris Olivier are not playing due to being on their respective holidays as Julian Viloca son of Luca Viloca, Yuka Shin and Preston Harris fill up their places.
As a result a Mount Olympus team at full strength is steamrolling over a weakened Amazona as Christian Fourseasons opens the score with 2 great goals and also Helena Avelona the manager's daughter scoring a goal of her own.
Despite Amazona's best effortsa team missing their key players just doesn't function too well and the result is a 3-0 defeat and elimination from the cup competition as they seek to prepare for the league season instead of the cup competition.

Cascade Academy and Star Unicorn was maybe the most anticipated game, Kira Blade despite being the best player of the country had never won a major title but reaching the world cup now at her age felt great and she wanted more.
At the same time she had become the mentor to Kimora Frazier who is young seeking to one day follow in Kira's footsteps to replace her in Cascade's line-up where on the other side Star Unicorn had Angela Diaz going for yet another prize, she had won 2 championships and a cup competition in her career here, it was clear that she was with distance the best foreign player.
Cascade now also had a foreign player in their midst which was Sara Kashiwagi from Riena a young talent that was signed to replace the outgoing Jenna Samford who had found home at Lunar Prime now.

Cascade had taken out Kira Blade of the line-up and to give her rest and Kimora Frazier would make her league debut this season at age 17 where Star Unicorn only missed Matthias Weber who was replaced by Rhecia Bernard a young player from Gouvanarch who was signed as replacement for the soon to be outgoing McArthur and would play a substitute role with plenty of playtime until then.
A long and equal game followed, both teams played top notch football and in the second half only in the 92th minute suddenly it was foreign newcomer Sara Kashiwagi who scored an amazing goal from outside the box, this goal was her first for her new team and in a new country but also brought her team Cascade to the victory with only a minute more left.
If you wish to speak about a perfect debut, Sara Kashiwagi certainly had a dream debut being immediately important for her team as she seemed pretty overwhelmed by it all after the match had concluded, a young but promising player.

Equinox against the Desert Lions certainly was a boring match 90 minutes long and only in extra time suddenly four goals were scored Ortega signed for two of them and another one for Rania Al-Abdullah who after being dropped from the national team now shows her worth.
Equinox lacked Maddie Saturn and Joy Sol their two game makers as Drake Mejia and Lexi Lowe both 18 year olds had to replace them making their team quite weaker and the veterans in the front not being as physically prominent anymore it just wasnt working.
Only goal came from Jason Moon after gaining a penalty he demanded to take it after an argument with Lilith Talisman the team captain, he took the penalty and scored the goal saving his teams honor.
Jason Moon is the son of former international Nicolay Moon who had been a stable starter in defense for years, with Jason now getting regular playtime it is safe to say that between now and a few years we may see him in the national team.

Phoenix United had a very easy afternoon against Blue Lagoon, young striker Paula Nuñez made her debut as a starter while Federico Zaratti was enjoying his holiday as he was replaced by Yeray Vargas in the starting line-up.
Liv Dahl was the only international not taking a holiday because she really wanted to be at the season opener for her team and as a reserve goalkeeper she had not exactly done alot, yes trainings but her skill had not been required in any matches.
Despite Dahl being in the goal it could not prevent goals twice from Nuñez and also a surprise goal from a corner from Clara Perez who was quite shocked by the fact she had actually scored without realizing it just heading the ball with high hopes as Liv Dahl couldn't reach it in time making it an easy 3-0 victory for Phoenix United who are improving their squad greatly this season.

Pegasus Orb took on Lunar Prime, Pegasus Orb missed Grace Edwards, Beatrice Fiore and Elizabeth Phillips who respectively were replaced by Brandon Blanchard, Jenna O'Brien and Shayla Snyder where also Gabriel Fischer a new South Newlandian was making his debut.
Lunar Prime did not miss any players from holidays, even though Calvin Princeton had been asked by coach Walcott to make his return for one last year at the national team he had declined the offer not wishing to delay the development of new goalkeepers, he was very supportive of Emily Davis who according to Princeton was the best goalkeeper he had seen in the current generation of players.
Pegasus Orb despite lacking players won the game by goals of Gabriel Fischer who scored his first goal for his new team and in a foreign country and he also scored a second one sending his team personally to the next round despite Valery Saire scoring a 2-1 late in the game.
Its too early to make comparisons but Gabriel Fischer could continue the success South Newlandians enjoy here.

Lastly Blizzard taking on Ancient Forest, Kai Schulz and Naimee Chiruchu were on holiday aswell as they were replaced by Zoran Jankovic and Tyeffaine Mariage who seeks to really do well to gain a starter spot.
She was signed as a backup for Schulz who at the time was underpreforming, however Schulz did rebound last season and currently is doing well which means Mariage still has been unable to break into the main squad.
However there are currently rumours that Lunar Prime is interested in signing Mariage as a replacement for the old veteran Saire who already said this would be her last full-time season as a player as she expressed her wish to start a family.
If this deal goes through Mariage could see herself gaining a starter spot at a smaller club but with playing time and chances to finally show more of her skill which is something she expressed shes been wanting to do more then she gets to now.
Blizzard Academy misses Daniel O'Keith, Jade Williams, Lina Hansen and Lukas Lauritzen who all still enjoy their holiday after the world cup as they are replaced by Jens Graversen, Sally Kruse, Ray Gunnarson who was part of the U18 team that placed 3rd last season in the world cup for U18 teams and 16 year old Lissie Vinther making her debut in the abscence of Lauritzen.

Match itself was pretty boring, Mariage was not getting the chances she wanted despite playing a very good game, goals by Amber Sunday and Lissie Vinther decided the game at a 2-0 victory for Blizzard marking the first goal in an adult team for Lissie vinther who this year came from the youth team to support the main squad with her incredible talent.

Next round Storm Wolves and Rose Gryphon will be respectively assigned to brackets A and B as the main tournament starts and the remaining teams face off as the other teams play friendlies and prepare for the league season.

Starsian Supercup

After the first elimination round the field has been cleared the two strongest teams from last season are added and groups redrawn for fairness purposes because the new teams entering their respective brackets.
Rose Gryphon last year surprise runners up now finds themselves in bracket A where they will be facing a strong Mount Olympus for their first feature seeking to build on last years success despite an aging squad.
On the other hand last years champions Storm Wolves are currently entering bracket B and they will be hosting Pegasus Orb in their first match of the season which makes way for what many call ''The Old Classic'' a feature between Phoenix and Blizzard that has been played many times and the two teams that may call themselves the most successful of the nation will decide who advances in the cup competition.

Currently expected is that the newly added teams will make their mark but from now on only strong teams duke it out so anything is game here and also all regular players have returned from their holidays by now.
It is not said all of them will immediately play but it certainly has more teams at full power now then last week when we were here for the first elimination round where several strong teams also got kicked out due to just not having their key players, mostly Amazona who currently is one of the strongest teams and a favourite this season saw its season start bad, also Star Unicorn with Angela Diaz saw themselves being early knocked out by strong Cascade thats looking for their first prize in years.

With Kira Blade back in the starting line-up Cascade kicks off against a much weaker Desert Lions and it becomes immediately clear that this aint their match Cascade under Blade's lead looking like a real team effort.
Passing accuracy above 90% and a possesion of nearly 70% showed Cascade's dominant prescence but were unable to score in the first half despite attempts from Kira Blade, Lauren Brown and Phoebe Sky the old reliable Selim Öztürk held up with his defenders Samir Arash clearing plenty of dangerous crosses coming from Blade and Wright as he despite quitting the national team was still a leader here.
By failing to score the Cascade players got a bit frustrated leading to several yellows and a bit of a rough atmosphere on the field Madison Wright due to her anger issues subbed out as a precaution by coach Kayden where Jael Klein would make his appearance in the second half.
In the second half the Lions started to get chances, Rania Al-Abdullah and Ortega teamed up to create chances and really put Christopher Taylor to work but the young goalkeeper also proved that hes the one to beat.
Between these heated battles as time ticked on it was foreign player from Riena Sara Kashiwagi who remained level headed and seemed not as much affected by the near brawls on the field, partly thanks to her not really speaking the language so not really understanding the trashtalk going back and forth and not being the main target either due to her not being seen as a major threat.
This allowed her to receive in the 76th minute a pass from Ashley Martinez which she gave to Phoebe Sky as Kashiwagi made the deep run and forcing Jael Klein to drop back to her position as Phoebe Sky gave the pass to Kashiwagi who directly crossed it to the goal to the surprise of the Desert Lions defenders allowing Lauren Brown to head it past the goalkeeper and score the goal to win them the game, again this young girl from Riena proved her worth in an important fashion this time with great vision and an assist.

Meanwhile the other math in group A was between Mount Olympus and Rose Gryphon, where Olympus was hungry for prizes after so many bad seasons and a failed transition to a younger team no being stuck with an inbalanced mess.
Rose Gryphon clearly seemed not ready for that though, they had a veteran team who had the experience but with each passing year started to become less and less capable due to them also not being world class players.
Even Gaelle Moreau who was on the national team as only one couldn't get this team to function, inbetween those older players you could find Adam Atkinson a younger player from Myrtle Beach, if you had asked him during that match what he was doing he would likely have told you that even he had no clue because his team was not able to keep up with Olympus.
First 15 minutes went equal between the teams but Olympus had young talents on the field even if inexperienced they still brought much energy and creativity which was the thing Rose Gryphon lacked, they only played according to the book, creative touch was nowhere and the energy after about 20 minutes seemed nowhere, even subs Katarina Roux and Manon Fournier were brought too late.
Mount Olympus with new energy dominated the match and in the 40th minute it was Joyce Villegas who scored the ony goal of the game showing exactly why she was still on the national team, good moves a good shot and experience making her a key player of her own team and also a cornerstone for the national team as Mount Olympus played out the remaining time and advanced.
Rose Gryphon has some serious thinking to do, if they want to do good they will need to up their physical game big time.

The old classic a match always loved because it was high intensity high pace and about the best football you could see in the country, Blizzard who on paper still had one of the best squads took on a Phoenix side less strong then in the past but still capable of beating them in a heartbeat should they show any sign of weakness.
Blizzard and Phoenix kicked off and where Blizzard showed offensive capabilities the defense was the thing where Phoenix in recent years had become famous for with Federico Zaratti raising a new generation of world class defenders, one of them young Clara Perez was now the new defender next to Zaratti and she was natural clearing every attack with her mentor easily, where the sides seemed to have more trouble the center was doing fine and in the counters Nunez was a fearsome menace for the Blizzard defense aswell, this made it so that at half time the standings were still completely equal neither team giving in to the other at all.
Blizzard took out Rasmus Berg in favour of rookie Lea Ottesen making her debut, meanwhile Phoenix swapped out Victoria Tolisso on the same position as Valeria Medina made her appearance for the first time in a while, this changed the flow of the game but it certainly wasnt boring and it was only late in the game that Lukas Lauritzen managed to put one behind Valverde scoring the goal needed, at first it looked like the goal was going to be canceled but the ref decided against it and the goal remained on the board.
This sole decision caused Phoenix to lose the match without being the weaker team as they brought Julia Jimenez aswell trying with a youthful offense to break through but O'Keith kept up his defense and Blizzard bought time where they could draggin the victory over the line.

When you think this is the most controversial win....YOU ARE WRONG as the match between Storm Wolves and Pegasus Orb also kicked off and Storm Wolves arrogantly assumed they would easily win this one.
Yet is it safe to assume that you will easily beat a team with 3 internationals in it? certainly not especially when your team is young and energetic with talent but not experience where your opponent has experience plenty? it was not and they first hand experienced that arrogance about your opponent will eventually lead to your downfall.
Pegasus Orb came here to win, they did not give an inch, played hard sometimes even crossing the line making fouls but with players such as Grace Edwards on defense, Elizabeth Phillips on the front and a commanding prescence known as Beatrice Fiore on the midfield its only a small step towards a slip up on your own side, this exactly happened to the Wolves in the second half.
They got a more agressive playstyle because they were running out of patience with Pegasus Orb assuming that they could steamroll the weaker team easily but they forgot a counterattack was possible and this allowed NT starter Elizabeth Phillips to blitz through the opposing team towards the opposing goal to score the goal for Pegasus Orb where the Wolves defenders were unable to keep up with her speed they saw their own playstyle and arrogance turning itself against them and lose them the game.
they tried and got chances but Pegasus Orb did not give it away, Storm Wolves subbed in Joacim Laine from Norrhem in the 90th minute to give him his debut in the league but as a defender there was little he could do to turn things around and he had to see a loss and how Pegasus Orb would be facing off with Blizzard in the semi finals of the tournament.

With these features many now thought everything to be possible given how equal all teams were and how many strong teams now already had been going out early all due to just not being as on point as others.
Blizzard right now seemed like a title favourite but after a poll among fans a Cascade championship would be the most popular win among fans due to many feeling connected to the team and their long title struggle where people dislike Blizzards easy going mindset.
Mount Olympus seems to have fan sympathy but certainly skill wise the fans think they cant do it where Pegasus Orb is seen as a major outsider here due to not really having known players besides those three key players and the new South Newlandian talent.

First semifinal kicked off between Cascade and Mount Olympus two teams who really had a good time so far but the question remained which one would get the upper hand and claim their ticket to the cup final.
This match was the definition of an equal match both sides unable to see a weakness or force a mistake of their opponent and this dragged the game long as the match was clean but boring, tactical and just not creative even if it seemed like good football was played.
This game looked like a game of chess and this also showed in the results because after 90 minutes no goals were scored at all as Joyce Villegas for extra time was subbed off and replaced by Joanna Bressing who made her second appearance now.
On the other side at Cascade it was Kira Blade who was going off, not because she could not play but the strain on her of an extra time would hurt her preformance in the long run and the cup to Cascade was important but not something they wanted to risk Kira for.
She was replaced by Kimora Frazier also a very capable young girl who had been a solid played for the national team too making various appearances and scoring many goals, and this again changed the flow of the game, in recent weeks it had shown that Kimora Frazier had become good friends with the new player from Riena and coach Kayden knew this, he hoped by bringing both on the field at the same time he could maybe force a goal in extra time and this was also the case.
Sky had the ball, passed it to Kashiwagi who passed in to Brown where Wright went back to midfield allowing Kashiwagi to make the same run like last match, but this time she did not cross it but instead passed it over the ground in to Brown, she gave it back to Kashiwagi who stormed into the box giving a very high pass with the tip of her foot letting it leave in front of Frazier who with a deadly direct strike in the 112th minute it was Kimora Frazier who rammed the ball into the back of the net sendint the crowd to its feet.
This combination was only possible because of trust and very good knowledge of eachothers moving pattern which Kashiwagi seemed to have a talent for, she was able to understand how she moved but also her teammates and she could predict the distance they could cover and that she could cover in relation to them allowing her to make such complicated plays.
This young girl from Riena was promising very promising, even if the cup was by many teams not seen as important if she could keep this up in the league there would be a bright future for her in the making.

Pegasus Orb at the same time kicked off against Blizzard and boy was a screamer that match was.....the ref completely seemed to be off today making some questionable calls and being very easy with the cards.
Atleast 4 Blizzard players and 3 Pegasus Orb players all got yellow and we aint talking about the cards for the staff of both teams yet, this match was a chaos and within the chaos Blizzard seemed to have a hard time navigating through.
Blizzard played good but with all the breaks, cards and injuries later on such as cramps and other things it really didnt allow them to get their head in the game and Elizabeth Phillips as experienced as she was rallied her team to remain calm, she was certain of herself and after getting a beautiful pass from Fiore in the 65th minute she crossed it to Fischer who shot it in with a volley kick.
This only threw off Blizzard more and they would not come back, problem was that they really just wanted to play their game and when that doesnt happen they do not have the creativity to make their own plays up on the spot, they only play one style and thats the Northern physical game with much focus on offensive and less on defense where Pegasus Orb played very balanced.
Once again a top team fell to the claws of a team that was considered an outsider but also consider this, in 2036/2037 and 2037/2038 they both finished runners up in the league, thats for a reason and not because theyre a bad team, they are capable but lack the completeness some teams with more funds got but as you see now those teams arent always necessarily better.

In the final we will see Cascade Academy take on Pegasus Orb, a showdown between Kira Blade and Elizabeth Phillips as some would consider due to them being the main players and captains of their teams, it was also the coaches Adam Kayden a former NT player of the old guard with older ideas of playing on Cascade side against Pegasus Orb under the lead of Alan White who has more recently a NT player.
Alan White has experienced modern football and seems to prefer modern tactics, so that also will be an interesting showdown.

Hello there folks, its been some time now and now finally we are here with the final of the Starsian cup competition that goes between Cascade Academy led by Kira Blade who had a great early season beating Mount Olympus, Star Unicorn and also the Desert Lions.
Notably is that Kira Blade this season seems to take a diffrent approach, her role seems to be coordinating her team from her own position yet despite that also still showing her own great skill against all opponents.
Also new foreigner Sara Kashiwagi has shown herself with two assists and a goal so far showing that she has quite the potential and that shes the ideal person to fill in for the veteran Jenna Samford who transferred to Lunar Prime.

On the other side we got giant slayers Pegasus Orb who have beaten Lunar Prime, Blizzard Academy and even the last years champions Storm Wolves to get their ticket to the finals marking a tough road.
Even though Elizabeth Phillips and Grace Edwards are the stars on the team the new South Newlandian striker Gabriel Fischer currently has made name already scoring several game winning goals and playing a good stable role in the team as whole.
Its very early to draw comparisons but it is not impossible that Fischer could walk a path similar to Angela Diaz who both came from their respective youth teams without much future looking for a club but turned out to be major talents.
Fischer already noted down the most goals of the tournament so far and unless something very odd happens he could crown himself topscorer of the cup competition and win his first prize already early in the season.

Meanwhile also the elections continue Julio Reyes and Maximillian Flare are even in a closer race for the association presidency while Klaus Meyer has formally declared that he drops out of the race to give the other two candidates the best chance.
Klaus explained that he is content with not getting the job, he hopes to focus on other things and also watch his son Victor his career as Victor Meyer after being part of the 3rd place squad in the U18 tournament now also was called up for the national team.
He did not make his debut in the world cup but he hopes that perhaps the regional tournament could have Victor make his debut but with 18 years his son has an entire career ahead so there is no rush.
In other news The 14 Stars has announced that they will take part in the 6th Jenna Raven Cup also known as the womens world cup, this is an interesting development due to the fact there is no official womens squad representing our nation.
Questions have arisen who is gonna be on said team, who is gonna coach it and who will be funding this because technically there are no extra funds so currently the search for sponsors to fund the running of such a team is ongoing, it is expected plenty of companies will want to due to it being nationally broadcasted so a large audience will be reached.

But we are here for the cup final, lets get that going first!

Its there, today the play in the stadium belonging to Star Unicorn that can house a total of 75,000 spectators and thats needed because this crowd is wild i can tell you that there is a tense atmosphere.
Cascade has not won any prize on forever and Pegasus Orb has been second in the league twice both of those teams want a prize and deserve a prize so whoever today wins does not even matter for the neutral fan because its a team that deserves it.
Cascade today starts with their usual line-up and the same for Pegasus Orb as they walk out on the field and shake hands, the kick off goes to Pegasus Orb and with Fischer taking the kick off the final gets under way.

In the first half the teams appear to be like previous matches pretty equal, neither team has a weak link or anything that they could find to weaken the opponents formation making it a slow and calculated match, a bit like a chess game.
This is boring for the fans but they would not have to wait forever, in the 35th minute of the first half Elizabeth Phillips gets through the defense giving a beautiful assist to Gabriel Fischer who is exactly near the goal at the right moment to tap the ball past Taylor, its the rookie South Newlandian who puts Pegasus orb in the lead and this is very popular.
This stadium usually is home to Angela Diaz so you can imagine how crazy the fans go when a South Newlandian scores they show alot of appreciation for the rookie player who now officially is the tournaments top scorer, there is virtually no one who can surpass him anymore in any realistic scenario except on the scoreboard of this game.
Cascade would not be Cascade if Kira Blade did not score an equalizer in the 44th minute right before half time, a good combination between Blade and Sol the central midfielder positioned Kira in front of the goalkeeper to score, the 35 year old Kira Blade shows once more that she still got the skill and her goal makes the game also alot more interesting right away.

Second half saw Daniel Hill from Pegasus Orb being replaced with 17 year old rookie Zaniyah Howell who makes their debut where Cascade was not making any substitutions yet as they knew their strongest line-up was this.
This started another long and gruelling 45 minutes of football not only because it was incredibly boring but also with temperatures of roughly 30 degrees celsius it certainly was hot out there and exhaustion in the second half would become more and more, this forced the teams also to switch more players that seemingly couldn't make it and often those were veterans.
Jacob Turner and Alyssa Foster saw themselves get replaced by Kian Grant and Jazlynn Shaffer and Cascade finally made some moves at last replacing Bilal Cruz, Phoebe Sky and Lauren Brown meaning the oldest player Kira Blade remained out in the heat unlike her older counterparts because Kira was just better trained and more experienced then her teammates often.
Alena Hendricks, Ethan Anderson and Danica Rockwell replaced their veteran counterparts and for Danica Rockwell it was her debut, after her failed year in Chromatika the rebellious kid now trained hard in the ranks of Cascade to follow in her father Troy Rockwell's footsteps also wishing to become an international just like her father someday.
With all substitutions done time ticked through and chances were more common but no team managed to score, the game seemed to lean towards extra time in the 89th minute when Anderson passed to Kashiwagi who saw Rockwell make an amazing run, without any hesitation she gave a high pass over the defense as Danica Rockwell managed to sprint past the defense positioning herself for a 1 on 1 with the goalkeeper and with great skill she placed the ball behind the goalie scoring the second Cascade goal right before fulltime.
Her first goal for her new team and she was very happy with that.
The game lasted a few more minutes but everyone knew it already this wouldnt be given away despite a last second header from Fischer being punched away by Taylor as the ref ended the game and the celebrations could finally get under way.

Cascade Academy wins the cup competition in its 2nd running winning their first prize of the season and also already securing the very first IFCF spot for next season and a very handsome cash prize going along with it.
While Kira Blade was named woman of the match many fans watched Danica Rockwell as she scored the winning goal, she had not been chosen for the national team due to her questionable behavior sometimes but maybe....this season could be her bid to that team?

In terms of foreigners many new players made their debut but two of them really stood out Gabriel Fischer taking the topscorer title of this cup competition and finishing in the runner up spot and Sara Kashiwagi who won her first prize with her team now!

Matchday 1 to 5 recap

Hey folks there is a new season on the horizon and the cup competition was the kick off with Cascade Academy winning it now at last the league season is finally here set to begin with another year of great football.
In the cup competition odd teams and rookies stood out but now in the league consistency matters and the older players will show what it is to play week in week out good games and deliver results for their teams and the fans.
Among other things aswell the head to head going election for Association President now with 2 candidates left saw Maximillian Flare have a slim 52% lead over 48% for his opponent Julio Reyes the success U18 coach.
Who will win that and become the next face of the Starsian governing body of football? by the end of the season we know.
Without further waiting lets get this season on the road!

After 5 matchweeks we are gonna take you through the field of participants, starting off with Phoenix United they have been near perfect so far with 4 wins and only 1 draw giving them an impressive 13 points.
This puts them also on top of the standings a really great preformance, this is also because of the extremely strong defensive line-up they got where the offense could use improvement its their defense where alot of teams struggle let alone top class goalie Valverde.
Not too say anything bad about offense though as with Paula Nunez they have a world class striker in their ranks and her bid for the national team at this rate is strong maybe even stronger then Lauritzen's who seems to be favored by coach Walcott.
Clare Perez has found a good connection with Federico Zaratti the seasoned veteran and captain of the team, they have had easier teams to play against but this doesn't mean they cant beat a strong team as shown in their win over Mount Olympus.
Ricardo Pescado their coach has been close to being sacked two years now and each time he saved his position and secured a worthy finish but will this be the year he can really mount a title challenge? a good start is half the work after all!

In second place we find Star Unicorn and who would have thought diffrently? with so many talents such as Jennings in goal Szabo recently joining the midfield, international Matthias Weber and forwards Kendra Halisovic and Angela Diaz who are this season joined by rookie player Carlou Vertendois who has made a very strong impression.
Vertendois scored twice against Equinox, once against the Desert Lions and also once in the last game they lost against a strong Pegasus Orb who werent cup finalists for no reason and Vertendois also has already 2 assists aswell both to Diaz for her respective goals.
Its early to make the calls but so far it seems like he is a serious addition a dangerous line-up of forwards that'll eat your defense alive, with 12 points they currently reside in the runners up spot with small 1 point gap to Phoenix clearly keeping sight on that league title.

In third place we got Amazona who with their new young players makes a splash and brings fresh energy especially with Iris Olivier the generational talent making another great season for her team.
Behind seasoned veteran Layla Raharinaivo she is the undisputed leader of the team and with goals left and right surpassing her own striker Stephanie Marvel she dominates the offense but also her opponents.
On the midfield changes in the future are to come but certainly not now as they give stability to the young forwards and control the flow of the game very well allowing them to sway matches to Amazona's favour.
All of their matches so far seem to be marked by their high scorings often 3 or more goals are scored no matter the outcome which shows the great offensive potential but also the effectiveness of the team being very well used.

A surprising 4th being Equinox United with a very much aging team and refusing to make changes it was pretty much assumed they would end up at the bottom of the ranks but surprise with 9 points they sit in 4th.
Its rumoured next year a lot of the veterans are gonna be moved to the reserves or entirely forced out, it is causing quite the tense atmosphere but for now they seem capable of acting under pressure with fallen talents Jessica Nolan and Karina Crow making their goals and captain Lilith Talisman in whats looking like her final season making the important calls on and off the field.
They have lost against strong teams but make their marks against the weaker teams showing that they are certainly always a team to keep an eye out for but will it lasts? only time will tell us.

In fifth we find last years champion Storm Wolves who have had a bit of an okay start but not as good as many hoped, most of the results were expected or atleast acceptable except the loss to Equinox which was quite the bummer.
Right now they have one of the strongest teams in the league but mostly in forward, in the back besides Astrid Madsen alot of improvement could be made where upfront with Sarah Huber, Chloe Simon and Kari Martinsen you have three very capable players.
This season also on the midfield is Elvira Kraemer who has had an outstanding season with Blue Lagoon a smaller team and that earned her a transfer to Storm Wolves where she this season fills in the midfielder spot.
Elvira Kraemer so far has held up really well shes not better or worse then the rest of her team and has helped set up various goals during the first 5 matches earning her quite the compliments for the way she plays.
Despite being very young she plays like seasoned veteran, calm, smart and very direct no nonsense the kind of football the fans of Storm Wolves love and as such the fans aswell are accepting her really well in the team ranks.

In sixth we find Mount Olympus who are trying to bounce back from a few bad seasons due to a really bad retirement system letting them end up with too many young players of the same age and too many veterans seeking retirement.
Right now Mount Olympus is seeking to still make its squad younger but diffrently and the veterans have agreed with staying longer however they did not expect to actually do so well the first few games.
They are very happy to finally really be in the business again and they wanna work hard both young and old as they love their club, former international Christian Fourseasons has scored goals aplenty for Olympus this season already, with 30 caps and 15 goals Christian Fourseasons can count himself to a very successful group of players.
further players like Villegas, Espinoza, Serrano and many others near the end of their player days but besides that they seem with these results to have renewed happiness in playing after years of only playing the bottom of the league.

In seventh we find Blizzard a top team, they struggled in the first few games but finally got things going right now with good quality players but also new names to put into their ranks they have been seeking form.
Most importantly was seeking to correctly help Lauritzen where he has a very diffrent playing style then Holly Moonlight who has been their striker for many many years so adjusting to someone new took a bit but seems to work out very well now.
Also International Lina Hansen has been very dominant on the midfield on the defensive side surprisingly where she usually likes the more offensive role she now shows also that she can play a more defensive role to assist Kurz when needed.

Pegasus Orb after being cup finalists had hoped for a better start, yet last match winning against Star Unicorn was really awesome for them and saw Gabriel Fischer and Elizabeth Phillips dominate the game.
Phillips scored twice and Fischer scored once where the young South Newlandian so far seems to have really good connection with Elizabeth Phillipsed the experienced International who gives him many good assists and also helps him improve of the field seen on trainings.
Its a bit early to make calls but Pegasus Orb could still be there at the end of the day nothing is lost yet.

In 9th we got Blue Lagoon where Terense player Carreira had the unthankful job of replacing Elvira Kraemer the sensation of last season and he just seems not to be able to reach that level of success as the team slides away.
He is not bad but not special just like most of Blue Lagoon and even with a strong goalkeeper like Liv Dahl you can't win games, Ashenheart also just doesnt seem to hit the right marks and neither for Demora showing that this team has a long way to go.
Carreira did play a role in various games where he was assisting in the build up to the goal but also saw him crack under pressure of stronger teams with better players bringing fans to be less excited as they hoped for a new Kraemer with exceptional talent.

Lunar Prime is in 10th, 5 points but certainly deserved more its quite clear that Princeton no longer has it and he also has seen that recently which has led to an announcement by both him and the club together.
Calvin Princeton who was the National teams 1st goalkeeper for years and played many world cup qualifications will at the end of the season retire as an active player at the age of 36 years old making way for a younger generation.
He made this decision very early in the season also because he was already kinda struggling with whether he wanted to continue but recent results and critics on his own preformance have led to this being announced now.
Meanwhile newly joined Jenna Samford also a former Cascade player just like Princeton has been on fire bringing her midfield teammates up to speed and letting them play alot better then previous seasons where the defense just seems to fail due to a lack of talent and the forwards just becoming old especially Saire who came out of her already retirement to fill up the team but now struggles.

In 11th we find Cascade both being unlucky but also having tough opponents to start with, it is expected they are gonna climb the ranks later in the season but right now they are doing very bad for an early start.
With Storm Wolves and Star Unicorn and Amazona in the first weeks they had tough opponents as all three are top teams and while Cascade is good they are not as good as the top teams but usually punch above their weight when they have to.
Also this year Sara Kashiwagi joined the team from Riena and the Riennese player has been absolutely stellar in her preformances even losing but still working very hard and giving another series of good assists to her teammates so they could score.
Currently Kashiwagi shows that she can make good plays under pressure playing very solid, while maybe not being the best player on the field right now her coach Adam Kayden states that in due time she can develop in a strong midfielder at the current rate.
Kira Blade has been doing half games often taking the sub out for Kimora Frazier to make minutes, this due to Kira wanting to give Kimora the playing time aswell and the fact she believes young players should be ready to take spots of those too old.
When interviewed she said not considering herself too old yet but she did comment that there comes an age where you need to be realistic against yourself and she predicted that she wanted her career to end on a high note and not go out like a candle flame.
Kimora Frazier continues meanwhile to impress scoring a few times, making good passes showing good calls under pressure and very good skill and speed to pass defenders as her playstyle is very similar to Kira.

Ancient Forest in 12th season just started bad we dont know why, Fedor Karavayev came over from Pyazhnaya to reinforce the team replacing veteran Daria Ivanova who now sits on the bench each match.
Tyeffaine Mariage is looking out for a transfer Lunar Prime is named but also Equinox is called as a possible destination both clubs in need of a younger striker and Mariage in various games already showed shes very capable but also very young still.
Its expected this team will either climb back or experience a dramatic season as they are not known for their stability in terms of how they finish but then again the fans are used to that and they keep faith in their squad.

Desert Lions in 13th its a given not much to tell its clear that they dont have the players to compete but also not the money to invest in new players or pay higher wages as they already have a wage heavy team.
Fallen internationals Samir Arash and Rania Al-Abdullah never made any appearance for the team leaving Ozan Karazhan as the only really know or famous player on their team which also makes it less attractive for sponsors to step in, finances are a struggle in short terms and this is now also visible on the field and we can only hope its not the start of their downfall after a dramatic season last year.

Rose Gryphon last years runners up are last.....last why? well most clubs would say at some point when half your team leaves because they never get any chances to play that there is something fundamentally wrong with the club.
But is it? those players get results but now they dont so as you can understand the call for a player and coach resignation becomes louder and even the board of directors now after years of mismanagement finally hoped after last year to build towards a good future now is under pressure to make calls about how to go further.
In a quote by striker Elodie Lefevre she stated the following ''We try our best but its not as easy as it looks and we do not exactly generate money from internationals because we dont have them except Moreau, even i had the chance years ago and they passed me in favour of Schulz showing only so much how corrupt the Association is if you ask me.''
Another quote by Margaux Dupont also ''I dont get it really, like sure if you are 30 or older you only have a few years left maybe they dont care but they forget that 5 years from now i am still in this mess they are creating, also players like Adam also did not sign for this its a bad outlook for us and our team.'''

All in all alot of chaos there.

Starsian Super League

Matchday 6 to 10 recap

Hello folks and welcome back to the Starsian Super League, previous time you saw the league season kick off and as Phoenix took the lead alot of matches are yet ahead of us and we can only imagine the final standings.
However with current standings plenty of teams have work to do, will teams like Cascade get it together and move up? will the top of the league stay as it is or will some teams slide down to mid table or worse?
Lastly also, will Blizzard seeing their rivals in first place now start to catch up to them for a serious title battle between the two biggest clubs of the country like the good old times many old people talk about?
You will see it now as the league continues with new matches that are played between all the teams.

After 10 matchdays we find Star Unicorn in the first place, they have worked themselves up again and are leading the league by goal diffrence and that goal diffrence is the work of South Newlandia's number one striker Angela Diaz.
Angela Diaz is the most successful foreigner in our league and she is working with her tea Star Unicorn towards her 3rd league title something even domestic top players these days cant say for themselves with how much competition there is.
When we interviewed Diaz earlier she commented the following .

''Our team has been doing great so far and with a good balance between experience and youthful ambition and talent we hope to ofcourse top the league at end of the season.
Im not that busy with personal goals to be very honestly, sure a 3rd title would really nice and i would be both happy and grateful for being able to have such success but its also important to not forget that it is a team effort.
Without Douglas on the midfield setting the pace, Carlou and Kendra giving me brilliant assists and also scoring themselves and not to forget Niah in the goal who saved us alot of times aswell all of them make our success.''

In second place we find Phoenix United with an equal amount of points but a lesser goal diffrence, Phoenix despite struggling to score at times really shows determination and willingness to work hard for their results.
Phoenix is the largest club in the country and their predecessor also holds record for the most league titles but that doesnt mean this team can brag no they must be humble as they no longer are able to swipe their opponents like in the 80s and 90s, its obvious that hard work is now needed but to see that pay off has motivated these players and their coach greatly.
Coach Pescado laughing commented the other day that it was also nice for once to not be threatened to be sacked at any moment but then also stated that the belief in him and his vision by the club has been a major support to him and that he hopes to win the league to show the club and its fans that their trust in him was the right decision.

In third place we find Blizzard Academy who havw worked their way up towards the top 3 after a struggling start showing that once they were adjusted to new striker Lukas Lauritzen they can be a formidable football force like always.
Their strong balance between offense and defense has earned them quite the good results the past weeks and with the youth doing decent in their cup competition debut the future looks bright for this team too, they however want to catch up to their rivals Phoenix United as both of them are in search to become the best club in the country.
Most recently a 5-2 victory on Pegasus Orb pretty much showed their brilliance showing that they play on a diffrent level then their counterparts as they seek new heights after troubled seasons their last championship being a long time ago.

In fourth we find Amazona United who are rising the ranks thanks to their somehow high scoring matches, their trio up front Olivier, Marvel and Buster really are a menace to many defenders and they dont seem to be stopped easily.
Besides being good individual players and all three of them being in top condition they also have a perfect team chemistry managing to have a great grasp of eachothers skill and their movement allowing them to calculate their plays very well.
Add in an experienced midfield led by their captain Layla Raharinaivo and you have a very strong team thats contending for IFCF spots and maybe even for a championship if they can build on their current success.
Coach Olivia Desley who is a former player herself commented that shes absolutely delighted with the current results and that she has worked hard on making the team come together as she believes the mental aspect of football is often overlooked by raw talent.

In fifth we surprisingly find Equinox United which is something no one every would have thought, not that they are a bad team but they hold alot of old players especially up front where they certainly need a breath of fresh air.
Currently Equinox is in advanced talks with Ancient Forest about potentially signing Tyeffaine Mariage the substitute striker from Gouvanarch who was signed by Ancient Forest after dissapointing seasons from Schulz to potentially replace him.
However Schulz bounced back and Mariage was left to play catch up last season and at Equinox she has the chance to become a regular starter for this team who would want her to replace veteran striker Jessica Nolan who struggles to score the last few seasons where her wingers Talisman and Crow score the majority of the goals rather then her as striker.
All in all with decent results they still stand top 5 and look to a good season so far and only hope that new signings could help improve even further on this momentum that they have going with the team.

Lunar Prime is in 6th, with Calvin Princeton in his last season he upped his game wanting to show one more time why he was the top goalkeeper for many years prior and with various veteran players they can work towards good results easily.
Valery Saire and Jenna Samford among others signed for this team as Lunar Prime has gotten a bit of a name as a retirement home for veterans but its believed that in due time their youth program will start paying off too.
Charlotte Irvine also made her debut as goalkeeper earlier and played a pretty good game, she is seen as the one who next year replaces Princeton and she is already at times now getting the chance to gain experience and prove herself.
With Morris Valerian as coach a man who is regarded as the best midfielder of the 2020s and maybe even one of the best of all time they have someone who knows the flow of the game, can apply tactics and can read his opponents.

In Seventh we got Mount Olympus still a decent placing although a bit lower then at first but they are doing better then the previous years which is already a good sign for a team like theirs who's motivation was down in the dumps.
Coach Seya Avelona recently also has shown her plans to re-balance the squad and its gonna include slowly but surely replacing the players that have to go and bringing in only the strongest players which would mean alot of the current squad eventually will have to make way.
Its known that she would ideally see Hilda Livia and Mariana Sana go where Christian Fourseason is a point of uncertainty whether he will retire or not but if so it is expected Joanna Bressing will jump in to fill the existing gap as she has done earlier.
All in all good plans good future but a long road ahead for this team to finally achieve new success again.

In eighth we find last years champions Storm Wolves, despite attracting new players and improving their own squad they just cant seem to get things going the right way even if their results are not always that bad.
Input of new talent such as Sarah Huber, Johanna Koch and also Elvira Kraemer may have upset the team balance for a little but on the other hand all 3 of those players already are playing key roles in the team and have made themselves real stars.
Without a doubt the transfer of Elvira Kraemer has been a great success she is a very dominant force on the midfield being a great support for the defense while also delivering great passes and assists to the strikers so they can shine, shes a hard worker and without a doubt a generational talent for the country of Norrhem who more teams will look to now for new talent.

Blue Lagoon is in the ninth place despite being seen as ''the weakest'' team out there they so far have done a great job at keeping a good balanced score and their placing is the result of hard work from the entire team.
They are really a team both on and off the field where they are also good friends, with their location in a beautiful bay in the south of the nation this team really lives in paradise as some would say until they look at the rankings again.
Its expected this momentum may not continue due to them just being not as strong as the others, however Terense player Nelson Carreira has lived up to the expectations replacing Kraemer very well in the squad.
He does not have the same playstyle because Carreira is a more technical player where Kraemer was strong and physical but he gets the job done which is the most important thing out of it, coach Stefano Garcia can look to a decent season so far.

Pegasus Orb is in 10th place where they should not be after their recent success and their pretty good players including rising talent Gabriel Fischer from South Newlandia, hes not as impressive in stature as Diaz perhaps but hes a good player in his own right.
With help from Elizabeth Phillips in the offense and Beatrice Fiore organizing the midfield they will look to improve their current standing as they are currently below their own standards which isnt a good outlook.
Coach Alan White a former top defender will need to improve with his team, he does certainly not want to be sacked again as this could be pretty much his last chance in the coaching business so he will need some success if he would like to continue that career.

In 11th we find Rose Gryphon, they slightly improved on their last standings but not too much as the team just doesnt come together this year and the chaos in the club along with the accusations of the players not making it better.
Rose Gryphon is a community club, the French speaking community in the Starsian nation is small and a club like Rose Gryphon does not have the funds to manage this crisis, a bad finish this season could lead to the loss of even more good players such as Gaelle Moreau or Adam Atkinson as they would ofcourse seek their success elsewhere if this team turns out to be a sinking ship.
Due to there being no relegation the only way for a club to really disappear would be going bankrupt and for small club like Rose Gryphon that future is never unlikely as all funds need to come from the community or sponsors.

In 13th we find Cascade and this team is now a team without coach because their coach Adam Kayden has been fired for poor preformances throughout the first 10 weeks with a team that is really much capable of a top 10 run.
As the board stated ''Its not acceptable and we must take action to turn around this season which means that mr. Kayden and our club will have to go our seperate ways but we ofcourse wish Mr. Kayden the best of luck.''
While many people expect an experienced coach to be signed there is ofcourse also Dereck Yale who is making his coaching debut with the U21 team and he currently has been appointed as ''interim'' manager of the first team until a proper coach can be appointed.
In a reaction Dereck Yale stated the following.
''I will do my best to help the first team turn things around, i've worked with the U21 for a bit now but this is very diffrent and it asks a diffrent approach but i have trust in the players and the staff of this team that they can do it.''

On a positive note for Cascade Sarah Kashiwagi the signed player from Riena has been the highest rated Cascade player so far which has never happened since Kira Blade appeared years ago on the scene marking a huge shift in generations.
People state they love her consistently good preformances and her ability to stay calm under pressure and make calculated decisions aswell as the fact she has been a part of nearly every little success they had this miserable season making her a fan favourite and a highly regarded player who has the ability to perhaps motivate her team to turn things around on a player level.

Lastly still the Desert Lions.....they just lack quality and funds being in the middle of the desert ofcourse and like its good for them there is no relegation because with relegation its likely they wouldnt even be in the top league.
Currently they hang in but they will need to develop their youth program to get better results in the future or attract new sponsors, the coach is on the hotseat but firing him now only shows more the board just doesnt have things set straight then the coach being bad.
Its clear the board just did not sign anyone and just let things be, neglecting the team like that is never good and the fans certainly blame the board more then they do the manager at the moment who really tries to motivate his team.

Starsian Super League

Matchday 11 to 15 recap

Hello folks and welcome back to the Starsian Superleague where we have a few new matches for you to watch and due to time issues i will be switching back to the old posting format as i with a busy schedule cannot write as much as i would like to.
With that out of the way i hope nonetheless you all will still enjoy it as we will take the highlights out of every matchday and show you the up to date standings of the Superleague and how they are developing.

BIG NEWS coming from Ancient Forest as Tyeffaine Mariage a striker they had signed from Gouvanarch as a free agent has finally made her transfer to Equinox United effectively replacing Jessica Nolan.
For Mariage who was supposed to be a stand in for Schulz this came as a gift from the heavens, she has been a talented and kind individual loyal to her team and playing very well in the occasional games she got.
When she was asked for a reaction on the recent transfer she said the following to us.

Mariage: ''It is wonderful to make such a nice transfer to a new team with new expectations where i can finally start making more consistent appearances and show the the league and my own country too that i am a good player.
I wanna thank Equinox for the opportunity they are giving me as i know they are currently having the momentum and i look forward to playing plenty of games with them and really making my prescence known for my new team!

As the next 5 matchdays go by we see that Phoenix takes the lead again showing that their new youthful spirit with Nunez and Perez aswell as experience from Zaratti among others works wonders.
This team hasnt been champion in quite a few years and is still on the hunt for the record of most national championships with currently still belongs to Columbia United but if Phoenix continues like this that wont be for long.
However Star Unicorn is only behind by a single point and its safe to say that Angela Diaz and her team are not taking 2nd as they chase Phoenix for a new title and to establish Star Unicorn also firmly as a household name and a strong team competing at the top.
In their last match Star Unicorn slipped pretty much though losing out with 3 goals to the worst league team at the current moment which are the Desert Lions who have no good players besides Karazhan and Al-Abdullah and are in need of a breath of fresh air, that Star Unicorn lost to them like that is probably a result of arrogance but also just not being able to compete under the scorching southern sun.
Desert Lions in away matches is very strong due to the southern high temperatures and their extreme endurance, among others Kendra Halisovic and Vincent Leroy that day went out with overheating issues and several drinking breaks were needed.

Between the first two and the 3rd place Blizzard Academy is a bit of a gap and from there on the gaps are pretty close but despite being 3rd Blizzard certainly does not count itself out for the title either yet.
They came back more then once and they will do it again but this year when it counts they just werent there where Phoenix and Star Unicorn always consistently stood there when it mattered and took the points home and Blizzard bottled a few of them pretty good.
Equinox with new striker Mariage are in 4th now and the trust in their new striker is visible where Mariage has also made herself known being a steady and calm striker with alot of talent and still being young she has much promise.
Equinox has been the surprise of the season, going in to the season everyone had written them off but they keep gaining good results and they are now seriously working hard to get an IFCF spot and maybe more.

Storm Wolves really went down the drain, champions of last year now hanging at the bottom of the league, why? no one knows but it certainly is not a good thing and not what they had hoped for coming off a championship.
Coach ofcourse is under pressure but the board has expressed that after achieving the championship last year they want to trust their manager this season to turn things around and that there will be no changes this season in the Storm Wolves staff team.
How diffrently is this for Cascade Academy, Dereck Yale as interim coach really had a tough time facing 4 insanely strong teams if not the strongest of the league and he managed to hold the team together in a dire situation.
In the 15 match they also scored a win which keeps them connected and in the race for a better ranking, they still have not found a new coach and Dereck Yale will remain the interim coach for a little longer as he has expressed the wish to work on better results.

''We have a good team and we have the quality in our ranks to be better then this and we must be, after facing the top teams now i think we are ready to get ourselves together and focus on scoring points to improve our standings.
With great players like Kira Blade and Sarah Kashiwagi on our team i believe we can win, both of them have been playing above my expectations and in all honesty i am glad Sarah can stay with us and Kira too as it hopefully will give us an advantage during the international break where always alot of players are lacking from the teams who usually fill in key roles.''

Desert Lions is the only team that really lost connection with the rest of the league with a points gap between them and Cascade as the former champions of a few years ago look to their worst season on record this year.

Starsian Superleague

Matchday 16 to 20 recap

Hello folks and welcome back to the Starsian Superleague where we have been away for a while but now are back with the latter half of the season as the battle for the title heats up more then ever.
With a bit of a dissapointing last international game against Eshialand we now look forward again and focus on the next tournaments and the domestic development as the elections for Association President soon come to a close.
Currently it seems that Maximillian Flare former ace striker and vice captain of the Starsian national team will be succeeding Marcus Blade who will be retiring after a long term filled with reforms and rebuilding into what we have now.
His plans to develop and grow the league are ambitious to say but certainly nice and refreshing where his opponent Julio Reyes who achieved a 3rd place in the U18 world cup has also been competitive and has good vision.
Both men are good fits for the job and both have a history as a player themselves making it an interesting battle.

But without further say lets first look at the current battle in the domestic league unfolding in front of us.

After these games it has become clear that the title battle will most likely be decided between the current four best teams, Phoenix, Star Unicorn, Equinox and Lunar Prime who each have seen great success this season.
Phoenix has been able to bounce back from lesser years after the retirement of Flare now having Zaratti and Perez a strong defensive duo combined with Valverde a former international goalkeeper.
At the front the experience of Victoria Tolisso combined with Paula Nunez her youthful energy have been great to watch and its clear that this team seeks to regain its glory as one of the country's top teams.
At Star Unicorn Angela Diaz is busy on another great season and while she told us having 3 titles isnt exactly a must for her she still certainly would love another great success and her combinations with Vertendois the Auprussian have been a sight to watch.
Vertendois has the youthful creativity their offense was in need of while Kendra Halisovic provides her experience and good vision aswell both delivering greatly so Angela Diaz can really shine at the front.
Equinox had a rocky start but in all honesty no one ever expected this team to compete for the title this season with the older players but they have been bringing in new players to make things right and it turned out very well.
Most recently Tyeffaine Mariage a teenage striker from Gouvanarch came over from Ancient Forest and her energy has given the forwards a boost and Mariage finally has a starter spot which she didnt at her former club, in just a few matches in she already stands at 7 goals and multiple assists really showing off her potential now and in the future.
Last but not least Lunar Prime, many former Cascade players spend their last days there giving it a bit of an image of a retirement home however there are 11 players on the field and not just 1 which is where many teams misjudge Lunar Prime.
They have a mix of young and old and really bring the best out in eachother, further Jenna Samford has really shown her leadership for the group and Princeton aswell really is determined to make something good of his final season.
At the front Valery Saire who came out of retirement really has been a good striker for them balanced and experienced which is exactly the kind of forward such a team needs and while theyre a few points out they can still win it all.

Blue Lagoon, Blizzard and Amazona United all have 29 points but they still can grab a top 4 spot if they have some success and for Blue Lagoon its been a season with many diffrent moments.
They celebrated great wins and terrible losses and this year with goalkeeper Liv Dahl their defense has been better too and Bryan Ashenheart really starts to get it going at the front standing at 12 goals this season which is alot for his doing.
Further Emma Rasgado has also stepped quite a bit both in scoring goals but also her game as a whole, when Blue Lagoon entered the league she wasnt that good just like the rest of the team but Emma trained hard and now its showing.
Emma has been on a diffrent level then the rest of the team and no she wont be a world class player but she is certainly someone who has made the step from an average player to a strong allround player and an important key player for her team.
On the midfield this season they have Carreira from Tero Al Disco and he while initially struggling fits perfectly with the rest of the team and his game vision and good passing is a great benefit for the team and this season he also scored 3 goals aswell.

Blizzard had to adjust quite a bit with Lauritzen at the front now but they have kept themselves together in the face of various changes the last few years and more young players around then previously was the case.
Blizzard seems to have a softer transition then Phoenix and with new talents like Lauritzen, Hansen and others stepping up the future is bright and even now they are certainly not out of contention for an IFCF spot if they have success.
Blizzard has been historically the 2nd biggest club in the country and they are holding themselves very well this season but it may not be enough to really prevent their rivals at Phoenix from winning another championship.

Amazona has had a real transition now and the forward line is very young and energetic, Iris Olivier the vice captain and one of those forwards also is currently the topscorer of the league leading Angela Diaz by 1 goal.
Olivier has everything that a team could desire of a player, shes quick, creative, strong but also a true leader in heart and soul and she has been working hard to become that leader of a new generation together with Layla Raharinaivo the team captain.
they have been doing really well this and are capable of finishing higher then last two seasons which would be a great improvement for a team that really wants to become a top team for so long but always seems to lack just that winning edge to do it.
Amazona has been a sub-top team long enough but now is their chance to really put in a good last few games and take that IFCF spot if anything and prove themselves on a bigger stage, Iris Olivier as topscorer currently stands at 16 goals and while she doesnt necessarily mind it there is pretty much the guarantee that Angela Diaz will be coming for that topscorer title if she slacks off.

Lastly it has been Cascade that has been climbing slowly up the ranks after a horrible start, interim manager Dereck Yale has been given leadership over the team until the end of the season due to his success at the moment.
But how has this sudden success been coming? both the offense has been stronger the last few games but most important for the success is Sara Kashiwagi the young player from Riena who has been a sight to watch on the field.
She had a tough time adjusting in a nation that so many times larger then her own, a foreign language and also other ideas and values which made it a rocky start for her aswell but she has been playing key roles in every victory week after week.
Not to mention Sara Kashiwagi has the most assists of the entire league almost every goal Cascade scores is an assist from her and the fans have already dubbed her ''The Queen of Assists'' for her great teamplay and ability to recognize the chance of others, this doesnt mean that she hasnt scored any goals, Kashiwagi has scored 4 goals herself aswell this season a really good statistic so far.

Starsian Superleague

Matchday 20 to 25 + season finale matchday 26

Hello folks welcome back to the Starsian Superleague first of all we are back with now the last part of this season, close competition ready to be settled between all these strong teams.
Further due to time issues i have not been able to make the season finale a seperate post as i also need time to update things for next season which takes me more due to me doing all of this manually rather then with a sheet.
But enough about the inner workings of the league lets find out who will be the 2039/2040 champions of The 14 Stars and who will be playing in the IFCF competitions next year with Cascade so far being the only one having a secured spot due to their cup win.

As Phoenix goes into the season finale with a lead their championship is not secured yet, Equinox United who were considered a bottom team this season stunned everyone by being the second spot with a chance for the title still.
Tyeffaine Mariage their new striker who has her home in Gouvanarch surprised everyone with her talent taking her team by the hand and bringing them with many goals back to the top level which no one had ever thought to be possible.
Equinox has had a tough season and many veteran players started to show that they are just getting older and the newer players not yet having the ability to make their mark on the team with the old leadership still standing tall.
It was a question mark whether Lilith Talisman would extend her contract but she did stating that Tyeffaine and the young players have showed her anything is possible and renewed her energy to go on a few more seasons as a player.
At Phoenix it was announced that next year Valeria Medina take over for Victoria Tolisso who has decided to call it quits explaining that seeing her sister benched every week and her awaiting the same fate if she continued made her decision an easy one.

In third we got Cascade and while they started horribly under Kayden their interim coach Dereck Yale has brought them into the top 3 and this has earned him a full time contract for next year to formally become the teams manager.
Yale has been a former player and a national team member for years, his younger age and experience as player on international grounds more then the previous generation really helps these new players forward alot more.
Kira Blade who everyone assumed would retire has announced she will extend her contract for one more season, Kira will however no longer be a starter and Kimora Frazier will next season fill in this position most likely.
Kira Blade in a press conference stated that she will play one more season, because she loves the game and she loves the audience and being with her team but she also stated that being as old as she is its quite lonely.
One by one all her old teammates called it quits and now she is surrounded by players younger then her which feels weird and with her retirement after next season she will also have more time to spend with her family and her young son.

Lunar Prime stands in fourth the kind of team you never expect to do good but always somehow ends up in a spot decent enough, with Jenna Samford's lead they have a really strong foundation.
After this season they will say farewell to their top goalkeeper Calvin Princeton who has been widely considered the best goalkeeper of the last 50 years and with a long and eventful career behind him hes finally having enough of it.
Princeton was one of the last students of the legendary Keenan Fortuna who is the best goalkeeper ever of the country, Princeton will look for new opportunities he said but nothing specifically has been announced yet.

In 5th and last of the top contenders is Star Unicorn with Diaz easily taking the topscorer title with a lead in goals on Iris Olivier who has also shown incredible scoring capacity for someone who technically is a winger.
Star Unicorn will see 1 player retire but also plenty of changes around, they arent there for the title but an IFCF spot is in the realm of possibilities and it really would mean alot, this year Diaz wont win her 3rd title but according to our experts this will only be a matter of when instead of whether as star Unicorn has the right to call themselves a top contender.

Now for the last match day

Let the season finale begin!

And there we have it the last game of many players but most importantly is Calvin Princeton with such an amazing career he will be missed and his retirement is a loss for the sport and when you hope for a last win it didnt happenn.
Against a strong Amazona Princeton cannot prevent a loss but after the match he states he is very happy with his career and the all the people who he has met along that way to where he stands today.
After the match he was given a grand farewell with a great applause by both home and away fans as he got several rewards from his club Lunar Prime for his services and a live video message from Kira Blade who was about to start her game.

Kira: ''Hey Calvin, when you see this im standing on the field myself aswell but i wanted to thank you for many years in the national team but also as my teammate at Cascade and now for your extensive aid to bringing Lunar Prime to a headstart on their journey.
You're an amazing goalkeeper but most importantly an amazing friend and i wish you best of luck on you next steps.''

As this happened meanwhile Equinox played Pegasus Orb and they absolutely won Tyeffaine Mariage the striker from Gouvanarch scored 3 goals and Talisman scored one where Pegasus Orb only scored 1 from Fischer.
Mariage showed great effort and with their win they had done what they needed to do, but the outcome was not in their hands, it was in the hands of Phoenix who could now win another title if they won their own game and kept their three point lead.
Phoenix in the scorching hot desert faced the Lions and several players during the match fainted from the warmth but it was Paula Nunez who made the winning goal and did not only secure the win but also the championship.
As the final whistle sounded a primal roar echoed through the stadium as Phoenix had secured their 13th ever league title now after 3 years of hard work they finally again stood on the highest stage of the country.
With 13 titles they now equal Blizzard as most successful team in the modern era and this also with Victoria Tolisso in her final game makes it an extra special title as a new generation steps up to take the lead a stronger and better generation then they had.

Foreign players evaluation

Fedor Karavayev (17) Pyazhnaya

Had a good season despite his team not running all that well but thats not something he is to blame for, Fedor showed growth through the season maturing and becoming a stronger player for the team.
With his young age expectations werent high ofcourse but with his stable preformances he has exceeded expectations and played a very fair season on which he can build the coming years to become a good player for the team.

Angela Diaz (28) South Newlandia

Shes again the topscorer, the captain of Star Unicorn has again put in a great season securing an IFCF spot and a nice 3rd place in the league which allows her to meet the best players of the multiverse next season in the challengers cup.
Diaz is in her prime and there currently seems to be no one capable of stopping this South Newlandian superstar who turned from free agent to one of the most known players of her country showing that our country can bring good players to the international stage too.

Carlou Vertendois (18) Auprussia

Some of our players already played in Auprussia so one of them now arriving here was met with great curiosity and we can tell you that Carlou Vertendois did not dissapoint both individually and as a team player hes a great addition.
Vertendois had a bit of a language problem at first because our country speaks the English language and while there is a french speaking community its not that big so there were some communication problems.
But he overcame those problems and with 5 goals and plenty of assists to Diaz he has put in a good season and he has a bright future.

Rhecia Bernard (20) Gouvanarch

Was a reserve this year because she was signed to next season become a starter, she has made the occasional appearance but not as much as she would have liked to but next season will be finally her chance to show it.
Rhecia Bernard is replacing the outgoing Douglas McArthur at Star Unicorn and with her added to a younger midfield its expected she can bring up the pace of the game more and also speed up attacks even more so Diaz, Halisovic and Vertendois become even more dangerous for their opponents with quick breakouts and interceptions on the midfield.

Adam Atkinson (23) Myrtle Beach

He didnt have the season he would have liked to being the only really younger player in a team that seeks to come back from disaster but he has held himself very well inbetween the french speaking community players.
He has scored 3 goals for the club this season and has been a steady prescence and his dedication and hard work have earned him respect from the fans but also his fellow teammates and hopefully the team can improve even more next season.

Sara Kashiwagi (19) Riena

This young player from Riena has been the revelation of the season she has the most assists of all players in the league and even at just age 19 she is a formidable force on the midfield where everyone looks at.
Kashiwagi is quick, creative and smart everything the Starsian fans love to see and shes therefore already a fan favourite with the nicknname ''The Queen of Assists'' referring to her record breaking amount of assists this season given, but not only that shes also capable of being everywhere whether it is assisting up front or covering for a defender she can do that too.
If any player other then Diaz could be noted as best foreign player then we can assure that it is Kashiwagi.

Gabriel Fischer (20) South Newlandia

If you get among the 5 most scoring players in ur rookie season in the Superleague then you know you did good, Fischer is young, talented and full of energy and dont led the team result say otherwise.
Fischer on his own has been responsible for plenty of goals and good games, he has been a constant threat at the front season long and also finally gave some breathing room to Elizabeth Phillips who had to carry all pressure alone up till now.
Give it a few season but Gabriel Fischer might just become the next Angela Diaz.....he has the skill and momentum to do it but he will also need a stable team and a good coach who can guide him which we hope to see next season.

Tyeffaine Mariage (19) Gouvanarch

After her transfer started to be very good scoring plenty of goals worked with her team hard and surprised everyone, she has much talent and this is only half a season that she played as a starter, expectations for next season will be higher.
With a well experienced and friendly team around her Mariage has gone this season from bench player to transfer to another club to be a starter and then all the way going to an IFCF spot and barely missing out on the title.

Elvira Kraemer (21) Norrhem

This supertalent after transferring to this club saw a troubled season but also one where she learned alot and became a stronger player overall and with a lesser result teamwise it also leaves room to improve.
Storm Wolves is known to bounce back and Kraemer played a great season of her own and with a talent like hers many believe that shes someone who could be an up and coming talent for her own native country too, Norrhem isnt a country known to play internationally alot but she has the skill to become one of such players that have that honor with how well she is developing, 5 goals also to note this season which as a midfielder is pretty much so alot of good things about her.

Joacim Laine (17) Norrhem

Made only a few appearance and is signed for the future but has certainly shown that when he plays is a stable addition to the squad and he is very well liked among players and staff who share their experience with him.
He is a talented young player with a great future with many years to come and with one of the defenders becoming a bit older in the coming years each season will see him make more appearances until he can become a starter.

Nelson Carreira (17) Tero al Disco

Last but not least, Carreira had to replace supertalent Elvira Kraemer which isnt easy to do but he did it, a stable prescence and youthful energy show that he is there and wants to be important for the team.
He is the first ever player from Tero Al Disco here so it was a bit of chance signing him but the team certainly found a great young talent again and with Carreira growing this season alot as a player next season promises to be even stronger, hes on the move and there is no telling yet how good he will really become but we believe time will tell.
Finishing mid pack in the league also helped the team a ton and surrounded with skilled players like Ashenheart and Dahl give him also the needed competition to improve for and a target to work towards.

Starsian SuperCup

Season 2040/2041

Hello everyone and welcome to the start of a new season of Starsian domestic football and this year once again we start of with the Starsia SuperCup the domestic cup competition of The 14 Stars.
This year we have some changes in how everything works, because we have 16 teams they are divided within 2 brackets known as Bracket A and B respectively and no team will have free pass anymore as this was seen by the association as an unfair advantage.
This year also respectively Kardashia SC and Columbia United join the league as pro teams where Kardashia is the only club with foreign origins in The 14 Stars it is Columbia United that holds the record for most league titles in the old days, they have a grand total of 17 league titles and after the merge with Phoenix continued as amateur side but are now back as a pro side.

Without further delay here are the brackets that were drawn earlier

Bracket A

Storm Wolves - Ancient Forest

Bracket B

Pegasus Orb - Equinox United
Rose Gryphon - Kardashia SC
Phoenix United - Blue Lagoon
Blizzard Academy - Desert Lions

Teams will play 1 single match, the winner goes to the next round and the loser is out no second chances no mercy and the last team standing will be crowned champions of the SuperCup and earn the first IFCF spot of the season.

In the first round various matches are played alot of strong teams with the quality more equal then ever this season, Ancient Forest kicked off the season against Storm Wolves a previous champion of the league.
Despite efforts of the Wolves though it was goals from Kai Schulz and Svetlana Markova that decided the game after extra time after the wolves managed to score an equalizer in regular time from Johanna Koch.
Star Unicorn as always kicked off strongly, Angela Diaz scoring twice where Lunar Prime only saw a free-kick by veteran Jenna Samford go into the goal and as it stands Star Unicorn once again seems a favourite to win the supercup this year.
Cascade Academy last years Supercup winner and under management of Dereck Yale full time got knocked out in the first round already by brilliant goals from Iris Olivier and Oscar Buster who ensured the advancement of Amazona in this round.
It also was the debut game for Chris Daley the son of Rose Daley a former coach and the debut of Esmaye Osong the daughter of a former international and we expect good things from both these 18 year olds.
Cascade despite losing now plays without Kira Blade as a starter for the first time in many years, her spot is taken by Kimora Frazier who debuted in the national team at 16 years old and has been Kira Blade's apprentice for a few years now.
Last match was newcomers Columbia against Mount Olympus and well Columbia as a record champion club had to come back from amateur status as their merge with Phoenix left them without resources and funds pretty much.
Despite their best efforts it was Joyce Villegas from Mount Olympus who decided the game with one goal after extra time, it was also the debut for 17 year old Olympus defender Nekaia Blue she played a decent game.

As we arrive at bracket B we see last year's runner up in the league Equinox United getting knocked out by Pegasus Orb and who else then Gabriel Fischer the South-Newlandian talent can score this goal ofcourse.
He worked it into the goal from outside the box brilliantly as he and his team advance to the next round.
Perhaps the biggest surprise was Kardashia SC who are known to have ''Yeezy'' roots as they call it and traditionally are the only club that prefers male players only and they faced a Rose Gryphon side that is trying to rebuild.
However Rose Gryphon never got into the game and they were completely played crazy and with two goals from Tommy Reeves and another one from South-Newlandian Nancy-Teresa Matthews Kardashia SC shows dominance and a strong desire to win and not just compete.
Champions of the league Phoenix United practically sent out a B-team because most of their main players needed to have rest for the IFCF cycle and they were doing very well in it so the cup was the least of their concerns.
Carmen Hernandez the veteran striker who now played usually back-up in her 1st starter spot in a full year scored one goal but their opponents of Blue Lagoon fully comitted themselves to the cup and goals from Bryan Ashenheart and Emma Rasgado decided the game.
Lastly there was Blizzard taking on the Desert Lions, Blizzard saw two goals from Lukas Lauritzen and one from Amber Sunday which was enough to hold off the Lions who saw two goals from star player Rania Al-Abdullah who is also about one of very few decent players they got.
