Location: Andretta (75km south of Rigal), Dolmot, Badlands Frontier

Andretta was a small town, but it was one of the few safe places the monarchists had left- at least, places they would allow the Germans to visit. In this case, the Queen would not be in attendance. Instead, Chief Estragón Delmas had “borrowed” (demanded) a boardroom from the local police- and she sat there impatiently, waiting for the German delegate. She thought this was ridiculous, but Queen Catarinon had insisted- and so it would happen. There was already plenty on the police Chief’s mind, so she sat there, tapping her feet rather irritably. She had already came here on short notice- what was taking so damn long? She didn’t want to wait forever- certainly not for an agreement on refugees of all things…

The sound of a helicopter could be heard in the distance as Amadeus, a veteran now turned ambassador of his homeland. The Kaisers Syndicates he steps out with two guards armed with Springfield M1903’s and walks towards the board room and mutters to himself “Why did I have to come here in a helicopter…” He chuckles as he says to himself “Yep send the guy who got PTSD from a helicopter crash to a place in one is realllll funny.” He approaches the door takes a deep breath then opens it “Hallo” he says “I’m Syndicalist Ambassador Amadeus and you are?”

The chief seemed unimpressed by the ambassador, glancing up at him and then looking away before responding in a rather dismissive tone.

“Chief Estragón Delmas of the Rigal Police Department, authorized by the queen herself to negotiate on her behalf.”

Estragón wore black-and-gold outfit, with a black open jacket over a black pintucked silk blouse, and ornate black pants with gold decorations. She had choppy green hair that was surprisingly well-organized for how it was cut, and she finished off the outfit with a triangular golden pendant and a peaked cap that one might expect of a naval officer.

Well chief, we have quite the situation.” Amadeus states, then sits down. “You seem to have quite the refugee crisis, and we are willing to take some. Could you possibly tell us of the current situation so my country can figure out how to get them to safety.”

[Dolmot]

“Frankly, I don’t know what you mean.”

Estragón seemed dismissive, unwilling to concede even the smallest fault of the monarchist government.

“What exactly leads you to believe there are people willingly fleeing this country? The House of Astruc is the legitimate government, after all…”

Amadeus seems taken aback “with all due respect to your government, of course, your country is in turmoil!” He states “I served in the army before my job as a politician. I know people always want to leave in times like these, no matter how much they love their country! Now I’m sure your country and government would rather have its citizens safe rather than in ditches Ja?

[Dolmot]

“Riiight. If you’re asking me, most people are staying put. But sure. Let’s say you’re right.”

Estragón paused, taking a moment to think.

“What exactly do you want from the crown, in that case?”

“Fuel” Amadeus states “For boats.” he himself winces knowing about the contested sea ahead but regains his composure. “I understand that going anywhere by ship would be crazy at the moment with all the submarines, but I assure you they will have a full naval escort for protection.”

Suddenly Amadeus phone rings “one moment important phone call” he then answers his phone

[Dolmot]

Estragón crosses on leg over the other, tapping her feet softly yet impatiently.

“Take your time…”

Amadeus looks more worried as the call goes on “What no Minister Mark I cant…” he gets cutoff by the man on the other end then sighs “Ok Minister but could you give me the reason?” He looks surprised as he gets his answer “There harboring who!” He seems angry with the answer “Thank you Minister Mark good bye…” he hangs up the call then turns back to face Estragón “It has apparently come to my attention you have given asylum to one of our most wanted…” he pauses then says coldly “I’ve been told to leave because of this I am very sorry good day.” Amadeus and his guards then turn to leave

Estragón cackles as Amadeus leaves. She didn’t want anything to do with this in the first place.

“Take care, then! We’ll be keeping our people in our country, thank you very much!”

And with that, it was done. The deal had failed- but frankly, if it was harboring Coralyn IX or working with the Germans- Catarinon and Estragón would pick Coralyn 100 times out of 100.

Estragón cackles as Amadeus leaves. She didn’t want anything to do with this in the first place.

Amadeus stops right before he opens the door “Used to serve in a badlands ya know” he laughs “my helicopter got shot down…” he turns to face her “my entire crew died while waiting for rescue most to cannibals.” He says coldly “and I’ve still met nicer cannibals than you…” he turns then opens the door to leave
