The Old Bank, built in 1712 as the Merchants Trust Bank, it served as the Finance Ministry building from 1796-1889, when the new Finance Ministry was built. It is considered one of the more beautiful buildings in Hanover and is one of the most frequently photographed, after the Royal Palace.
