Currently kind of disinterested in my current regions RP and I'm looking for something that fits my bill of RP. I'm looking for an RP on an either modern setting, or a cold-war like setting, grounded in reality and with diplomatic interactions. I like for the RP to be a mix of things, whether it be internal affairs, maybe tidbits of character RP, global news, war, tension... and I like to have a sense of professionalism, where the other RPers have at the very least decent vocabulary and writing skills. Would also like to be a region accepting of all kinds of folk! Don't really wanna join a hotbed of conservatives/right-wingers.

My region, Geopolity, would honestly be a great fit for you. We are an RP rooted in realistic roleplaying, and we're based in a modern setting on a current Earth map. We are also quite accepting here.

Check out Teremara. We have a modern setting and are open to different RPing preferences, including all the things you mentioned. We have plenty of skilled and experienced writers and try to maintain a high level of quality. We don't talk RL politics very often but our community is very accepting and I know we have a diversity of opinions. I'm looking for an RP region that's well-versed in turn-based war RPs, with tactics, narratives, strategies, etc. I'm not that good with the writing-tons-of-story-out-and-turning-the-RP-into-a-novel style. I'm completely fine and familiar with MT but PT is my forte.

But at the same time, I'm not some military veteran who knows every acronym, piece of jargon, or all the technicalities and procedures in an army. I can't keep up with that.

I already have a heavily-detailed idea of what my nation's geography is like, and I don't think it'll fit with any region at all, so I guess you can say I'm looking for people to RP with, not exactly join.

My region Varathron might be to your liking. It's not exclusively furry, but it basically checks the boxes of everything you're looking for. You're not limited to a human nation, and you can play as anything from a grounded MT country to something more fantastical.

Could I interest you in The Outer Rin? Our region is focused heavily on the interstellar and galactic side of things. We have a map, a discord (not required), as well as an offsite forums (which don’t work, unfortunately). While we are coming out a reconstruction phase after revamping the regional RP, there are tons of ways to get involved in Galactic affairs with The Outer Rim.

Since gameside is down currently, our RP has been a little stagnant. But there are couple threads which are related to the RP that you could join.

Sparkalia runs an RP with a generally very permitting blend of Future Tech/Fantasy, so a nation consisting of an alien species with sci-fi tech would not be a problem. However the RP of Sparkalia is largely specifically focused on the planet of Sparkalia, we don't really do space stuff as much.

There might be a region out there with an inter-planetary RP, but there's not any I personal know of and therefore can vouch for/recommend.

I'm not necessarily looking for a fallout-only region. Just thought I'd mention it cause if you have a region of all pretty, fairy-like nations we're not going to fit in.

My biggest concern is to find a roleplay I can easily get into. one with cold-war to modern tech. Maybe some future? Just not low tech, high fantasy, or super futuristic tech. Does all that make sense?

I'm looking for a region that brings free-market-based and western-style democracies together. I would like if the region has active role-playing and message board going on, but I don't want to be obliged to take part, because I somehow have time issues in real life and working on my nation, even with technical help etc, takes a good amount of time already.
The region als must not mess with my lore. I don't want to be forced into a time calculation system or a specific geographic setting. Also it is important to me that ny nation will not be obliged to follow laws made by an external judicative body.
If nations in the region have a mutual defense agreement and do military cooperation like for example NATO, this would be great and Tamocordia would gladly join such a pact.

Well, we have a mix of both. We don't restrict nations on how they can run themselves within their own borders. We do not have only select ideologies and politics for the whole region. We're all over the range from authoritarian dictatorships and juntas to very democratic, almost anarchic nations, and there are political and econocmic alliances with a mix of nations within that range.

We could not fit in your planet and continents. We do have restrictions on map space and RP population size. So based on that, no, I don't think it would be a good fit. You're welcome to establish diplomatic and economic relations with nations in our region, as we're not a closed canon region and we believe that other regions, and possibly even worlds, exist in the multiverse besides our own.

Yes, I suppose that does not fit, since I am looking of a region of only liberal democracies and free-market-based economies.

As to the geographic aspect, I have no problem being in an alliance with nations that are somewhere else in the multiverse. It's just that I can't move my world to another persons fixed geographic setting. Nobody would need to move to my world, the only thing that would be a problem for me is if someone came to me like "Hey, we have this and this world, please place your continent somewhere in it to make it fit.". I love if people make their own settings, I just don't want to include my world in one of them, because my whole lore would fall to pieces.
