NationStates Tennis Tour clay court season 10 RP thread

Image

This thread will be the thread where roleplays and results will be posted for the NationStates Tennis Tour's clay court season.

Scorination Details
All tournaments are scorinated on xkoranate. Singles tournaments have best of three tiebreak sets and doubles tournaments will be best of two sets with a match tiebreaker.

The logarithm ranking points are used. To determine the doubles seeding the average of the two doubles player's logarithmic rankings are used. Draws for both the singles and doubles competition are seeded. All roleplays are scored with quality over quantity emphasized. Multiple roleplays submitted on the same day will be counted as one larger whole. All players without ranking points will have a skill level equal to the lowest main draw player's logarithmic points, if that nation has roleplayed previously or in the tournament.

Where there are more entrants than available places, a knock-out qualification round is played. At the conclusion of each tournament, rankings are updated to reflect the new points earned by players. These points last one season.

AI text outputs are prohibited. AI images may be used but must be declared and will be disregarded in grading.

Hamilton International X and Electrum International III

The Electrum Lawn Tennis Association is proud to present the ninth edition of the Hamilton International and the second edition of the Electrum International.

About Electrum and Hamilton
Electrum is a sports-mad country. It loves its Olympics and its football, but the most important sport in Electrum is the tennis. Tennis in Electrum is administered by the all-powerful Electrum Lawn Tennis Association. Due to the stature of the ELTA, it exerts a high amount of influence in international tennis, especially in the NationStates Tennis Tour, where it captured the presidency after Ceni's withdrawal.

There are a few quirks when coming to Electrum. One of them is its digital currency, the Synergy, which is known for its ubiquity. Upon arrival, all people can gain access to the card based digital currency, but tourists often complain that these cards which are very easily stolen but also incredibly convenient to use. Electrum is also a relaxed country -- it has very socially libertarian laws such as the decriminalisation of all drugs. It's a place to let off some steam and to have some fun.

The events will be scheduled on the clay courts of the Hamilton Tennis Club, approximately two hours north of Centralis by plane. Hamilton's courts are known for their long rallies and hot temperatures, making it very taxing for players. Temperatures are regularly in the high twenties-high thirties Celsius, and on rare occasions, above 40. On such high heat days, the tournament's heat policy will go into effect, meaning that players on outside courts will be forced to stop mid-match until the temperature goes down to an acceptable level. Players on courts with roofs will temporarily have play suspended as the roofs close. The pair of events are known to push players to the limit.

Playing Conditions
The Hamilton Tennis Park, much like its southern Centralis counterpart, has three roofed arenas. These are in decreasing size: The Cauldron, and Court 2 and 3. These three roofed arenas actually make up a superstructure called The Tinderbox (please see stadium photos below). The roofed arenas are essential for the long, hot days in Hamilton. Outside courts are well attended. Fans watching play on these courts will be cooled down with industrial fans, water coolers and water jets to ensure that dehydration and extreme heat won't be too much of a factor. All players will have access to a ''coolbox" placed next to their chairs on all courts at all times. The "coolbox" is actually a refrigerator that contains ice, chilled drinks and towels and food. The coolbox also has an attachment to a moveable cooling tube which blasts cold air, so players can use the move the cooling tube around their body during breaks to cool off.

Accommodation and transportation to Electrum is provided for free with players flying to Centralis, and then going on a domestic two-hour flight to Hamilton. Players will stay at the Crown Hotel, Hamilton, a five star hotel-casino complex with all the trimmings that you can expect. Teams will be transported by a chauffeur daily in a private car to the Hamilton Tennis Park. Once the tournament is over, chauffeurs will bring you back to airport for exit, with winners going in special limousines.

History of Tennis in Electrum and Hamilton
Electrum is a sports-mad country. It loves its Olympics and its football, but the most important sport in Electrum is the tennis. Tennis in Electrum is administered by the all-powerful Electrum Lawn Tennis Association. Due to the stature of the ELTA, it exerts a high amount of influence in international tennis, especially in the NationStates Tennis Tour.

After recent complaints about the heat stress faced by players in Hamilton, the organisers have lobbied the government to upgrade the facilities of the Hamilton Tennis Park. New innovations such as the coolboxes and the newly built Tinderbox have increased both player and audience comfort.

In the 16th century, Portuguese-speaking explorers from Morroseta headed west across the Mar de Solidão looking for the fabled Seven Cities of Antillia. Although they found an archipelago with eight islands and golden shores, they did not find those fabled cities — but they decided to call both their principal settlement on the principal island and the island itself Antillia, after the myth they had unsuccessfully chased. They had founded Costa de Ouro, named after its fabulous golden beaches (that, alas, they could not use as currency back home on Morroseta).

Beyond the centrally located Antillia, other major cities in the kingdom include Nova Lisboa and Albergaria on the island of Santa Maria and the grimy industrial city of São Alberto, also on Antillia island. Politically, Costa de Ouro has retained the monarchy under the Aviz dynasty (with His Majesty Pedro III currently on the throne). The islands are unified with Morroseta, on the main Astyrian continent, in a confederation called the Avissian Union.

Antillia itself is a city of around 835,000 people with immense colonial charm, much in the Portuguese Manueline style common during the Age of Discovery. The King Pedro Tennis Club, close to the city center along the ritzy Avenida dos Aviz, will host the Antillia Masters. Despite having hosted this tournament for five times previously, the main stadium only has a capacity of around 7,500 spectators, with the two other show courts having capacities of around 4,000 spectators and other courts having space for around 500.

The tennis club is close to tourist attractions such as the Pálacio do Rei, home of Pedro III himself, who will make an appearance at the tournament's finals while officially presenting the singles and doubles trophies. However, the main airport (Sonhos International Airport) is located in an "aerotropolis" around 30 minutes by train from the main city in the center of the island. Beyond playing tennis, spectators and players could partake in the city's historic districts, take in a bit of sun at the country's namesake beaches (including the Igreja do Cristo beach, which makes for a nice day trip from Antillia), or scuba and snorkel in the equatorial waters just offshore. Visitors can also enjoy the cuisine at a variety of small cafes, some of which specialize in fish dishes such as moqueca costenha and pastries called pastéis

Players have the option of staying at the baroque Hotel Alameda, a ten-minute walk from the practice courts and grounds, or at one of the numerous and quaint pousadas that dot the city center. Both options are renowned for their hospitality, as befitting an extremely friendly people. Alternatively, if players desire more modern accommodation, they could stay at a townhouse or condo in the swanky postmodern Vila do Pôr-do-Sol, about a 30-minute drive south from the city center. Portuguese is the most common language, but travelers can get by in English, French, or Nikolian, common because of the tourist clientele that frequents Costa de Ouro. Whatever you do, do not try to address a costenho in Spanish. You'll just make yourself look like an idiot.

Beçonailles is a picturesque Reçuecian city nestled under a hill in one loop of a winding river. Bridges radiate outward across the bending river, leading toward the centre ville, which has a classic European feel with narrow, cobbled streets whose high-end shops hum with pedestrian traffic. The city's uniform tiled roofs and 12th century Romanesque cathedral add to its "medieval" atmosphere, but it is a very modern place. The stadium complex at which matches are held is only about a kilometer and a half out of town.

This will not be the first edition of Les Championnats Beçonailles has hosted, and in fact the city has given its name to the tournament in common Reçuecian parlance, so that the competition itself is simply referred to as "Beçonailles." This helps avoid confusion with le championnat, the highest tier of Reçuecian football. The city of Beçonailles has hosted Reçueçn's premier tennis tournament for over a hundred years. However, it is only more recently that the event has become part of the NSTT, bringing a new level of international attention to the competition.

Image
Center Court at Beçonailles
It has been a sudden transformation for Beçonailles, which has historically been, like many other tournaments of its kind, an event steeped in tradition. Until just a few years ago, the event did not accept foreign entrants. Obviously, allowing non-Reçuecian competitors entirely changed the atmosphere of the tournament, but the decision, made by the new Ministry of Sport a few years ago, has been enthusiastically accepted by the tournament organizers, and by the fans, who are happy to see the sport played at an even higher level. The players were also pleased to find that the competition's growth into an international event served as a welcome harbinger of the return of the NSTT. Beçonailles merged with the tour, being designated as the clay swing grand slam in only its second year of official affiliation with the NSTT.

In the past, players came to the tournament from the Hamilton International, and temperatures at Beçonailles, not far from the mountains, were a welcome relief. The last couple years, however, the tournament follows the Antillia Masters, and the comparison with the beautiful tropical archipelago where the Masters are held is not as flattering for the landlocked Reçueçn. But hopefully the mountain views are an acceptable substitute for the seascapes of Costa de Ouro, and now that summer is here the weather just be just right--as long as it doesn't rain, since the stadium does not have a roof to protect the courts.

The easiest way to get to the tournament for visiting international fans is most likely to catch a flight to Genève and take a train from there. Or, if you're already on the continent, don't bother flying at all and just take the train in the first place. Once in Beçonailles, you will find that as in everywhere else in Reçueçn, there is a very high standard for public transport. There's plenty to do and see in Reçueçn while you visit for the tournament, whether for you that means visiting art galleries, history museums, charming old cities, or sampling the local gastronomy on which the nation prides itself. Bienvenue!

Ilham Nugraha On Third Title Race
15th May, 2026

Tangkong (AMP) - We've bid fareweel to the hard court season of the 10th NSTT season and welcoming the clay court season with the twin tournaments held in Electrum. These tournaments are quite close to Mandaran players especially Electrum International where most of the past winners were their players who formerly compete under Pemecutan flag. Amongst the winner names, one that is most stand out is Ilham Nugraha. This double player has won the tournament twice in a row with two different partners.

Entered the 2022 Electrum International, Ilham Nugraha was paired with home player, Leanne Stewart. They were seeded fifth and entered the competition from the second round after receiving bye in the first round. They reached final after defeating another Mandaran (or Pemecutanian at the time) pair, Duwanisarga Yajamaja/Kirigundi Padurjili in 3 sets match. While in the final, they face unseeded pair of mixed nation, Chandra Wiguna and Bruno Ayragadh. They won the title after 2 sets match of 6-4 and 7-5.

In the second edition of the competition, Ilham Nugraha entered with fellow Mandaran player, Kirigundi Padurjili after a huge re-organization happened within PTA which ended the pairing of him and Leanne Stewart. They were seeded 7th at the time and received bye in the first round. They reached final after defeating fellow Mandaran pair, Jayadi Ahmad/Luh Putu Yundari who was seeded higher than them. And in final, they met Cenian pair, Jana Arkinn/Myria Primarch in 2 sets match of 6-1 and 6-4. It was Nugraha's second title and Padurjili's first title in her tennis history.

This time, Ilham Nugraha participate in the third edition of Electrum International with another partner. He is partnered with Chandra Wiguna. The pairing happened after Acastanha decide to pull out from NSTT events following the country's rebuilding efforts after the Kolanos War. The pair is uite favorite by the tennis fans back at home. Nugraha's passed results in Electrum International and Wiguna great performance when paired with Bruno Ayragadh are the factors of this favoritism. In an interview following the start of their match, Nugraha mention that he will try his best with Wiguna but he reminded that third consecutive title might be hard to achieve especially with the current situation where many other players are also on the rise. On the other hand, Wiguna said that anything could happen.

Surprise Pairing

As it was announced before, Jayadi Ahmad is getting retired from NSTT tournaments and Luh Putu Yundari, his pair, is seeking a new partner. To surprise of everyone, she is paired with Cenian top double player, Perger Rianor. The pairing also indicated the separation of one Cenian legendary pair, Coosal Darlcheri and Perger Rianor. While Rianor have confirmed his partnership with Yundari, no news yet arises about the new partner of Darlcheri.

"This partnership is both excited and making me nervous," comment Yundari in an interview.

The new pair will make their debut in Hamilton International. This is both players comeback to the competition. Yundari last playing in the tournament at season 7 NSTT where she was paired with Oka Sulastra. While Perger Rianor last competed in Hamilton International during the 8th season of NSTT where he reached final with his pair, Coosal Darlcheri. Both were playing in Electrum International last season.

Longer Stay at Electrum as Hamilton and Electrum International Set to Kick-Off
Friday, 15 May 2026

Rivoli - Despite early exit from Electrum Slam, MARICOM's players are still comfortably staying at Electrum for their preparation to the start of clay court season which is also held in the country. To the surprise of everyone, none of the double players start from the qualifying round while 3 single players have to go through qualifying process. They were Marisa Sparano, Isidora Tersouli and Nikolaus Minopoulus. Both Sparano and Tersouli are in Electrum International and Minopoulus in Hamilton International. But it is very unfortunate that most of Rivolian players are participated in the Tier 2 tournament, Electrum Slam.

In single, only Gilberto Mancia that is competing in Hamilton International. While there's no Rivolian double player compete in Hamilton. Despite have a higher ranking, Milenna Bassani/Priya Dharushanjam are placed in Electrum International. When was asked, Rivoli-Acesca Tennis Federation (FTRA) spokesperson said that it was a compromise made with Schimata Tennis Association (STS). They are considering the players who play in both single and double tournament. So, the player who play in both single and double is playing at the same competition. Therefore, Myrion Valiadis who compete in single of Hamilton International is also entered in the double tournament with her sister, Isidora Valiadis at the expense of Milena Bassani and Priya Dharushanjam.

Despite the already agreed compromise, some of the fans are still upset with the situation. One of the comments even ask FTRA officials to lobby the MARICOM authority so they can get equal treatment. "FTRA must be fiercer for equal treatment of our players. Why does Schimatan players get the privilege?" said one comment. On the other hand, FTRA spokesperson said that the compromise is already agreed not just by FTRA and STS but also by the other 2 tennis associations under MARICOM. They add that the participation is not the only reason but how the player can reach higher and higher round is more important.

All Advance from First Round
16th May, 2026

Tangkong (AMP) - The first day of Hamilton and Electrum International have ended in a blast. And Mandaran tennis supporters can feel proud of their players as all of them were advancing to the second round of the single competition.

In Electrum International, 2 Mandaran players that start to play from first round were Ketut Sudiarsa and Reihan Ahmadi. Both are comeback players from Rarungan who are added to the squad after the establishment of AMTA and the decision to succeed Pemecutan in NSTT tournaments. Their addition however was not without controversial. Former professional player, Ayu Diah Padmi who got affected by their addition was intensely protesting with the decision. Well back to the court, Sudiarsa made his way through the first round after defeating TJUN-ia player, Joe Katsi in 3 sets match of similar 6-3 results. It was one of his best performances considering his comeback to professional tennis after 7 years of hiatus. On the other hand, Reihan Ahmadi got a tight fight from Damir Pernar of Dotivija before being able to control the match. Losing 7-6 in the first set, Ahmadi turn the table by winning the next two sets with 6-0 and 6-3.

In Hamilton International, Komang Agus Artawan fight hard to claim his second-round place. Facing Dijana Jukić of Dotivija, Artawan start the match with a promising 6-4 win. But Jukić turnout to be in better shape in the second set. Although have to push into tie-break, Jukić won the set by 7-5. Artawan seems overcome with the loss and able to fight back in the third set. He claimed the set by 6-4 and win the match.

"It was an intense match. And I'm glad that I'm not out of focus as usual. It's my lucky day. Jukić was playing great," he said in an interview after the match.

The other match saw the rising player, Ayu Ratih Kemalasari against MARICOM player, Stefania Karalelli. The match was quite unbalance based on the rank where Kemalasari is ranked 30th while Karalelli is 200+ in NSTT rank. Despite the far rank gap, Karalelli was still able to give a great fight during the first set which overwhelmed Kemalasari. But Kemalasari was able to overcome her doubts while playing in clay and finally win the match. In the end of the match, she said that it was a great deal to be able to perform great in a court that she is not good at. Kemalasari is known as a grass specialist player.

Clayton takes the win against Bryon at Electrum!
During this first 2 days, Clayton has shown excellent performance! His performance has been essential in showing how talented Imporian players are. He said "I have no strategy. I'm born good at tennis and no one can stop me from giving my very best." Clayton is being very optimistic as he was one of the first to sign up for the tournament. -Lincoln J. Tren, Reporter

Miller has struck once again!
Miller just won against Goei, even though he suffered of the heat in the stadium. "The coolbox really is essential. I hope that we will not need it anymore cause I am dependent on that thing. If there's a powercut I'm just done." he says as heat in the stadium reaches 35 degrees celsius. Our cameras started smoking and cought fire. -Lucas Green, Senior reporter

Edith loses against Arthur, Throws a racket to the head of our journalists.
Edith is known for breaking rackets. But who could have known that she'll throw one at our journalists. The unlucky journalist got knocked out and had to be evacuated. The NSTT Fined Edith 15,000$ and she had to take charge of the journalist's medical fees. Healthcare in Electrum is very expensive. The journalist is doing better at the time of issuing.

A day at the Crown Hotel
We got an Exclusive interview of Dunagan while he was at the Crown Hotel, a vast hotel-casino complex in Electrum

Lucas: Hello Dunagan.
Dunagan: Hi. It's a pleasure to have an interview with you, Lucas Green, the legendary tennis news reporter.
Lucas: These are the most asked questions about the Crown Hotel; Does the crown hotel have a sports court? Does it have a rooftop? Is it safe? Is the food there good?
Dunagan: Of course it has all of that! The Crown Hotel is one of the best I've ever been to. The only problem is the currency. They don't follow WA standards and it is virtual. Good luck trying to pay with a VIZA or a NesterCard.
Lucas: What is the best part of the hotel?
Dunagan: Definitely the casino *laughs*. There is all kinds of games and stuff there. Their cocktail bar is just exceptional.
Lucas: What do you think of Electrum?
Dunagan: It is a very nice country. It is just so hot and the currency is very complicated.
Lucas: Do you have anythig else you'd like to talk about?
Dunagan: Nah.
Lucas: Well, that concludes our interview!

Got Ditch in Single, Sparano Went Through in Double with Paulino
Sunday, 17 May 2026

Rivoli - It was a gloomy day for MARICOM especially Rivolian. Their only hope in single competition of Electrum International were failing. Marisa Sparano, the only single player left was working hard to defeat 7th seed, Noah Damaris of Ceni. After a humiliating defeat in the first set, Sparano's hard work was paid off with a win in the second set. Unfortunately, Damaris still holds a trump card in his many playing skills that outplayed Sparano. Sparano had to admit her defeat after Damaris won the 10th game of the third set. With her defeat, it was the end of MARICOM's campaign in single competition of Electrum International.

Despite the defeat, Sparano still able to keep her composure. She works hard with her partner, Arturo Paulino to claim one seat in second round of Electrum International. Facing newcomer, Anne W. Perez/Holly B. Wade of Imporia, Paulino/Sparano won the first set without dropping any game. Perez/Wade was able to keep up and increase their performance in the second round. But it was still not enough to tackled Paulino/Sparano. The Rivolian pair win the second set by 6-3 and claim their victory.

Unfortunately, their success was not affected Bassani/Dharushanjam performance. Playing in section 1 against Ilonka Plevnik/Ivanka Mazurkijević of Dotivija, Bassani/Dharushanjam have to admit their defeat in the first set by 6-3. They rise up in the second set and able to give trouble to the Dotivijan pair. The 7-5 win for Bassani/Dharushanjam showed everyone that they were still able to perform greatly. However, it seems that they pushed too hard in the second set that they look exhausted in the third set. Their stamina was further drop with the constant rally performed by Plevnik/Mazurkijević during the super tie-break set. This combination brings a bad result for them. They surrender by 10-3 and give the second-round spot to the Dotivijan pair.

Artawan Gives Surprise by Defeating Foyner-Evatee
17th May, 2026

Tangkong (AMP) - In the continuation of Hamilton International, Komang Agus Artawan seems to be in his straight mind. Facing 3rd seed, Xander Foyner-Evatee, he was able to defeat the former world number 1 in 3-sets match. The first set was intense as both players didn't back down and wanting to claim the set as a good starter for them. Foyner-Evatee was on the right track at first until he did some errors which gives advantage to Artawan. Artawan become more confidence and able to chase his opponent. He pushed a tie-break after winning the 10th game, blocking Foyner-Evatee from winning the set. Foyner-Evatee got a second chance after claimed the 11th game. But Artawan got so stubborn that he pushed a second deuce of 6-6. Foyner-Evatee was already frustrated after his two failed win. He made numerous errors that backfire on him. Getting advantage from Foyner-Evatee errors, Artawan claim the first set.

Foyner-Evatee learn from his mistakes and took the second set more careful. His change of styles seems to work. And Artawan was struggled to keep up with the change. He, unfortunately have to let go of the second set. The third and final set become crucial and both players showed their true nature. Most of the games were won after a tight 40-40 deuce as if each game was their last breaths. Fortunately, the luck was in Artawan's hand, and he was able to get the upper hand from Foyner-Evatee. He closes the third set with 6-4 and secure his position in the third round.

Other advancement

Three single players left after the second round of Electrum International with Ketut Sudiarsa the only one who got defeated. While in Double, only Duwanisarga Yajamaja/Lenta Rasmi who's left after the hard fight against TJUN-ia famous pair, Valentina Spetsova/Austin McDanielson. In Hamilton International, Ayu Ratih Kemalasari face her defeat in the hand of Tena Špiričić Tavano of TJUN-ia in an intense 3-sets match. In Double, Putu Listya Dewi/Putu Ayu Maherani become the only double left. They surprisingly defeat their senior, Komang Antari/Kadek Andreawati in only 2 sets. On the other hand, new pair Luh Putu Yundari/Perger Rianor failed to impress in their first match debut against Cenian powerhouse pair, Elia Xal/Fia Xal.

ELECTRUM INTERNATIONAL/HAMILTON INTERNATIONAL

TENA AND LUCIJA MOVING INTO NEXT ROUND!

BY

IVAN JURLINA

Dear viewers, welcome to the show "IT'S TENNIS TIME"
Today's news we will started with another clumsy and bad match by Leonid Farkaš and Goran Ibrahimović.
These two just coldn't find a rythm and there is no positive energy between them.

The clay season has started and the first two tournaments to be played are hosted by Electrum.
Of course, we are talking about tournaments from Tier 1 Hamilton International and Tier 2 Electrum International. Our two strongest assets are, of course, Tena Špiričić Tavano and Lucija Bagarić. After a fantastic start to the season for the two of them, the Electrum Slam did not bring the placement they were hoping for. However, this is a different surface and it will be interesting to see how they prepared for clay tournaments.
In addition to the singles competition, we also have trumps in the doubles competition. Tena and Alina play very well and we expect the most from them at tournament.
Unfortunately, all our tennis players except Tena and Lucija said goodbye to the tournaments. These two continue further at the singles competition.
In the doubles game, the situation is even more devastating for our tennis. Only Tena and Alina are still in the tournament.

ELECTRUM INTERNATIONAL/HAMILTON INTERNATIONAL

QUARTERFINALS FOR TENA, BUT NOT FOR BAGARIĆ!

BY

IVAN JURLINA

Dear viewers, welcome to the show "IT'S TENNIS TIME"

Tena Špiričić Tavano qualified for the quarterfinals of the Tier 1 series tournament in Hamilton. Tena had a great player for opponent in the third round, Lucas Valerio from Britonisea.
A lot was expected from that match because the Brit is in great shape. Valerio won the tournament this season and played the Electrum Slam finals. However, in the match against Tena Špiričić Tavano did not show even a fraction of that play. Tena rumbled through the court like a fast train and left her opponent with only 4 won games, 6-3 and 6-1.
Tena had 37 winners and only 9 unforced errors. On the other hand, Valerio obviously did not adapt well to the new surface. And maybe fatigue also had a big impact .
Anyway, this is a new quarterfinal for our tennis player this season in the singles competition.

TENA ŠPIRIČIĆ TAVANO
Image

Unfortunately, Tena did not achieve the same success in the doubles game. Tena and Alina Koreleva were defeated by the Xal sisters. After each pair won one set with 6-4, the Xal sisters were better in the super set with 10-8.

Lucija Bagarić was stopped in the third round of the Hamilton International. Better than our player was the local player, Andrew Simmons. The match was full of great tennis moves to the satisfaction of all the spectators in the stands and in front of the small screens.
At the end, however, a big celebration by the local fans.
Hamilton International is being played for the 9th time and in the first season when it was played, it was played twice.
This tournament was won by great players like Dorotea Granit, great Bartolo Sabanero, Ardil Navsal, Lonus Varalin and Elaine Foyner.
Elaine Foyner is the only one who won it twice (2014b and 2015). Fantastic Elaine is the first and only one to defend the title. It is also interesting that the native does not yet have a single title in the individual competition, while Cena has as many as four titles. Ardil Navsal won the first edition of this tournament, and the great Ardil was one of the top favorites to win the title this season, but lost in the third round. Michael Loy was last year's winner, but he is not there to defend the title.

ELECTRUM INTERNATIONAL/HAMILTON INTERNATIONAL

SEMIE FINAL FOR TENA !

BY

IVAN JURLINA

Dear viewers, welcome to the show "IT'S TENNIS TIME"

New excellent result for Tena Špiričić Tavano, semi-final at Hamilton International. Our best tennis player reached her fourth semi-final this season in 5 tournaments played. She was stopped in one semi-final, while she won in two semi-finals and advanced to the final. Aliyah de Leon, a great player from Britonisea, was the opponent of our player in the quarterfinals. In the third round, Aliyah completely outplayed the great Lonus Varalin, the first seed, so Tena was aware that she had to play at the highest level. Our player had a great start to the match. She completely controlled the game and the court. She did not allow her opponent a single moment of respite. Tena won the first set very convincingly with 6-1. In the second set, a slightly different performance. Aliyah managed to get out of the strong grip and pace. In a very even fight, Aliyah did better and won the second set with 6:4. But in the third, our player once again imposes her authority and her game and wins the set 6-2. Abelie Fontana will be the next opponent for our player to enter the final.
Can our best tennis player maintain consistency and reach the new final? We believe it can.
