Dear all,

We are very excited to announce, TRTHNBB and Forest have agreed to co-host the Chess Arena as previously mentioned back on March 13th. This collaboration brings the total number of regions participating to ten including; The Union of Democratic States, Sol Aeternalis, Colonia Apollonis, Democratic Socialist Assembly, Wintercrest, Aurora, RGBN and Alcris participating so far. If your region is interested in taking part please contact New United Common-lands or Jutsa!

The competition will take place on Saturday 27th April, and will be open to Nations across NS. There will be three trophies available with member regions competing for Best Scoring region, Best Average scoring region, and all nations competing for best scoring Individual Nation.

Election Commission Appointments

Denizens of NBB,

As your Governor, I am pleased to announce my appointments for the first official Election Commission! As a preface, my intention with this initial makeup of the EC is for the purpose of standardizing a replicable process for future elections that the EC can utilize. It is my hope that after the completion of this exciting election, we can confidently begin routinely training our future leaders in government administration.

With that being said, my appointment for Election Commissioner is Socialistic Britain! I believe SB will be a great administrator (also they’re not running for election)

To support SB in their duties, I will be appointing New United Common-lands & America the Greater as Commission Members, primarily because of their comprehensive experience in conducting voting sessions (ATG) & prior elections (NUCL). It is my hope they will be able to set up the Commission with the tools and procedures that future leaders will later use.

Major Regional Court Announcement

Greetings everyone,

As Chief Justice of the Regional Court, I am eager to announce that the Court has accepted Vordoslavia's initial petition to contest his Third CoC Strike, which was issued at 10:54 pm last night (May 1st, 2024), due to a violation of CoC Rule #2, resulting in effective banishment from TRTHNBB. In summary, the Third CoC Strike is based on an allegedly transphobic RMB post that Vordoslavia made, even after multiple warnings regarding that behavior. Given the alleged nature of this RMB post, we will display it in official court documents when it becomes relevant to reveal the details. With the Plaintiff, Vordoslavia, contesting his Third CoC Strike to reverse banishment, the Defendant, the TRTHNBB Regional Government, must defend against this legal contest.

Now that Case #3: Vordoslavia v. TRTHNBB has begun, the procedures and rules surrounding ongoing Court Cases are fully in effect. This grants the Regional Court the powers listed in Section V. of An Act on Regional Court Establishment (link at bottom), the legislation dictating how the Court functions. Unfortunately, before this case started, there had been attempts to ban-evade from Vordosavia through a few of his puppets, resulting in a game of whack-a-mole with the resultant puppet bans. Now that the storm has calmed, I will be issuing an Injunction (Article V, Section 2) on Vordoslavia, based on his demonstrated tendency to defy orders, which dictates that he must immediately Cease & Desist from all attempts to interact with TRTHNBB, including, but not limited to, ban evasion attempts, indirect contact attempts through embassy regions, and any clear attempt to defy the spirit of this Injunction. The only avenue that Vordoslavia is allowed to communicate with TRTHNBB is through his appointed legal representative unless changed in a future order.

During the full duration of this case, I expect Vordoslavia to comply with this Court Injunction and refrain from actions that would risk future Court sanctions that could negatively impact his petition. Should he defy this Injunction, a Default Judgement in favor of the Defendant may be considered, which would immediately end the case. While this is not ideal, it is necessary to ensure compliance. I am hopeful that no further actions are required, though the Court reserves the right to use its allotted powers.

The Court's second action will be issuing a 24-Hour Revision Period to allow the Plaintiff to work with their Counsel to revise or adjust their legal complaint. Once the 24-hour period has ended, the Plaintiff's Counsel must submit their final complaint to the Court, with the continuation of proceedings after. This is a first for the Court, but the rationale behind this choice is to give the Plaintiff a reasonable amount of time to speak with their Counsel through telegram to construct their legal argument. To balance this out, we will be allowing both parties three days to build their cases and submit evidence once the Revision Period has ended.

As Chief Justice, I have implemented a series of changes to ensure the Regional Court and all legal parties are fully staffed and positioned to function. Starting, I have appointed Two Interim Justices to fill the vacancies on the Bench, The Kaverian & Syrasia. These individuals bring a unique perspective to the Court and will be wonderful additions. They have agreed to abide by the Judicial Code of Conduct, and are thus now seated for the duration of this case.

The Plaintiff's Counsel will be Western Arba Fir, and he has begun working with Vordoslavia to bring his case to realization. The Defendant, technically America the Greater, will be working with the DPM, Mjau, to defend the Administration from Vordoslavia's Contestation.

Major Regional Court Announcement

This announcement will serve as a brief update on a unanimous decision to issue a Default Judgement in favor of the Defendant for Case #3: Vordoslavia v. TRTHNBB. The legal rationale for this Default Judgement is that Vordoslavia willfully violated the no-contact Injunction which was ordered at the start of this case. The Administration has successfully proven to the Court that the puppet named Central Bulgarian Authority (CBA) is a puppet of Vordoslavia. CBA violated the Injunction by communicating on the RMB, defying the Court's order which mandated that Vordoslavia make no attempts to interact with TRTHNBB.

This Default Judgement is the consequence for failure to follow Court-Issued Injunctions. Compliance in these legal matters is very important, and the Court will not tolerate blatant violations of its authority. In the interest of respecting the time and work that both legal parties have put into compiling evidence and arguments, both Interim Justices will remain in their position for the next two days to allow for time to review the case and establish any relevant precedence that would have taken place had the case come to full fruition. The final Court documentation will be made available once everything is wrapped up.

I want to thank Western Arba Fir for their willingness and commitment to taking on a uniquely difficult case, and I hope to see their future participation in our judicial processes. The Defendants have presented thorough legal arguments, and we look forward to reviewing these.
