Yeah traditional raid and defending but have you seen their Rmb post, they suppressing their rights.

There have been some great conquests from both sides. I’m also going touch this softly because I don’t know the current defender community. But passing this admits to outsiders the raider community is operating on a level that fenders can no longer keep up with.

But what politics? These are resolutions backed up by no army! If this passes, then the tactic of Defenders will become ignoring Raids and Liberating+Injuncting the region until the Raiders are forced to withdraw so they have the World Assembly endorsements needed to Raid elsewhere. This is not a "buy time so we can take the region back" thing, there is ample time and no action. Allowing this kind of passive defense seems to me to make gameplay less fun.

This has been the model of Defenderdom for the last few occupations, this has not changed, they will do a libjunct and leave the region alone in hopes the raiders get bored, sometimes it works and the Raiders just move on to bigger prey, while the libjuncted region simply got abandoned, not because it was libjuncted. The distinction between this is that raiders really don't get bored, we just find better use for our time, meanwhile Defenders will happily abandon regions after just a few sieges, no real result, only that they look good in the eyes of natives.

Contrary to the narrative peddled by Defender Command, raiders aren't compelled to retreat when a region is Liberated + Injuncted. Just look at Yessssss or Alcatraz. Heck, you don't even need a hundred raider endorsements to win, just glance at Magna Aurea. Despite numerous embarrassing failures, Defenders persist in their reliance on the Security Council. It's a pitiful display of incompetence.

As a long standing citizen of the Realm of The Whispering Winds, who rose from a citizen, to an officer elected by its people, to as far as Governing the region directly, through all of this, for better or worse: I cannot and do not support the injunction. It serves no true purpose in the fight against raider scum. It only serves as a means of semi-placation to their tactics, and as a way to wash the hands of defenders who, while I will commend those that have repeatedly come to our aid, have failed in their duties.

Given the frequency of attacks, the resolution, and being a featured region, all targets were painted on the backs of ROWW. Its admiral was lost to sea long ago, and inaction has worked against us. This shall be no better. I worried that this exact scenario would unfold. I prepared for the worst but planned for the best. However, all being said the people of Xvraks have sailed these seas for over a decade, including the time before we momentarily collapsed. We have some of the most powerful weapons in the world. We have one of the largest economies. We have some of the most advanced technology. We have endured. We shall continue to endure.

Our people, seeing this as in no way assisting to the overall fight, would rather see this region burn, and weep upon the ashes after a bloody battle, than accept this resolution which would delay our ability to rebuild far more than having to rebuild in entirety.

Passing this resolution means simply one thing: the will of natives is entirely meaningless to a game we have no true choice but to be a part of. The defenders will mark their history here as their stance on the raider menace, at the cost of Native Regional wishes.

Forms the LIBERATION ARMY, a branch of the Security Council, to protect the World Assembly's allies and interests from invasion from enemies by forming 3 major armies, including Central Command, with nations contributing their militaries. Each of the five armies are commanded by professional and experienced commanders from nations with large militaries.

THE FIRST ARMY is the most powerful army, consisting of the largest and most elite militaries, and will be sent to difficult and important missions to protect the World Assembly and it's interests.

THE SECOND ARMY is not as powerful as THE FIRST ARMY, but still very powerful carrying out large missions, and is a backup for the first army.

THE THIRD ARMY is the weakest army of the 3 armies, but has large numbers. This army will be sent on small missions, and supports the other 2 armies.

CENTRAL COMMAND will be controlled by the Security Council, and is were the 3 armies will meet to work together, and discuss plans and tactics.

Not often do I feel compelled to defend Quebecshire, but this is an unfair characterization of what he was attempting to do with his infiltration of Malice. Assuming that's what you're referring to anyway, because I can't think of anything else.

It was not an attempt at moonlighting, happily trying out raiding under an alias, it was an attempt to harm raider efforts from the inside.

With an injunction, any path to permanently destroying the region is forced to go through the refounding process. Without an injunction, it’s as simple as transitioning the region to frontier and then back, at which point the region is under permanent occupation.

As long as the region exists in this state, there’s still the possibility of traditional liberation as well, but ensuring that raiders cannot take an easier path towards permanent regional destruction is prudent.

It’s been interesting to see people metaphorically insist that since there’s already a fire, it makes no sense to keep any fire extinguishers on hand, and that we might as well just leave the pail of water outside too. There is a fire (when honestly there shouldn’t be, this was fairly obviously going to be a raid target), but why then deviate from the best practices for putting them out?
