I find it interesting that Balder now has (apparently without much fanfare) as Deputy War Minister an individual who at the start of this month said:

Perhaps now is the time to remind the world that the sole thing worse than the invader is the cosmopolitan.

Does Balder not have any concerns about Quebecshire's loyalty or ability to effectively manage responsibilities between his multiple regions in light of his own views on cosmopolitanism?

I can't speak for Kazaman's feelings on the matter, but my arrangement with Balder in this case can be considered fairly contractural. I am not some naive import heading to a GCR thinking they'll make a name for themselves there, I made an offer to Balder and we discussed the specific conditions, and here we are. I think we're on the same page.

I hope his Balder nation is Quebalder.

I felt this nation was fitting given this is an explicitly military assignment.

Balder to agree to for a clearly outside power to now have direct control over their military, coming from the person who propaganized a self-admittedly sensible NAP/defensive treaty between Atlanticana and TRF as just the same. Do feel free to correct me if you think I'm wrong about that though

I doubt BoMers will pick up on the nuance but there’s a substantial difference between what Queb is was doing in Balder and cosmopolitanism.

My congratulations to Quebecshire. Although the two of us may not frequently see eye to eye, he is a skilled player who deserved better than the cesspool of Balder.
