It had been a very fun day in Paris, and Selene was peacefully enjoying her Grande Caramel Ribbon Crunch Frappuchino when Alex arrived.

“That’s a lot of sugar. Your first experience as mission leader is happening in a few hours. You ready for it?”

Selene hesitated before answering yes. She knew this was her first time leading her fellow Assassins against the enemy forces, and she didn’t know if they would succeed.

“Well then, should everyone get into the limousine? We have the air transport ready to go after that, dropoff will be at 2:36 AM.” Alex asked.

“Yeah. Let’s go.” Responded Selene, being careful to not let anyone see the dagger in her coat. Soon, that dagger would have blood on it.

Who ever actually killed 2 birds using 1 stone? What does that even mean? Do you kill 2 birds on the same throw? Or do you simply wind up reusing the stone? That is the question that our merry group of assassins set out to go find out one blustery and cold spring day. Now the cold never bothered us anyways so we set about practicing throwing stones far away from our glass houses and other things that could easily break, seeing as the last time they started chucking stones the Vampire Lord yelled at them til he was blue in his already pale face.

After hours of practice, Thorn was called into a meeting with a group of other imps and simply vanished. Zeldria found herself in charge of a group of initiates and completely lost in the woods. They went over a river and through the woods until they found a cozy little inn right as night was falling. Upon breaking through the backdoor (because no respectable assassin would ever knock) they found Thorn in the foyer of the inn, asleep in a chair next to a roaring fire, warm as could be. The assassins learned a valuable lesson that day. They still weren’t sure how many birds you could kill with a stone, but they were very sure that you could really bruise up an imp who is shirking his responsibilities!

Honestly, up until writing this I thought it was hitting 2 birds with 1 throw+a ricochet. After googling it I came to find out it might be killing 2 birds with one huge stone or using the same stone twice. I’m more lost now than when I was to start
