I think that it's a good thing to be able to quickly cut through the bullshit and identify what someone is and wants, honestly. It's like I say when Valle gets mad at me for calling someone a fascist and then walks it back five minutes later because the dude went on a spree in his telegrams about all the gross shit they believe.

You know, a lot of(Not a blanket statement or calling it inherent) African tribes and ethnic groups have been historically very anti-LGBTQIA+ even before Christian or Muslim contact.

Essentially, it's cultural for some. So it's quite interesting to see the eventual debate on whether supporting LGBTQIA+ stuff is Western colonialism vs Human Rights from native Africans themselves.

I'm going to enjoy hearing what is an overlooked and underrepresented discussion that will help gather more information and also help promote more understanding of Africa from native Africans, and the debate about Africa by Native Africans.

Because we so often hear from Western based perspectives or people who are not native to the region and have wildly different experiences. A major cause of the African Immigrant vs African American divide that I'm just fascinated by.

I think whatever your position on this issue, it's going to be worth tracking this and similar things across Africa to study it and understand more about what African religion and culture was like prior to Christianization and Colonialism, especially because of some racist assumptions about how their religion developed and automatically assuming that certain documented beliefs HAD to be non-native.

So please, you can have your opinion and debate this, but I invite you all to also follow similar things to learn more, because we really need to learn about Africa from their native perspective, not just estranged descendants(who do have valuable yet different perspectives) or non-africans, regardless of the beliefs of those non-africans as ideology is irrelevant.
