Looking for new General Assembly Moderator [now found]

We are looking to increase our Moderator coverage for the General Assembly, and therefore want to add an additional Moderator to the team with experience of participating in the GA, and with a desire to moderate it.

We are looking for people who meet the following criteria:

• A history of participation in the General Assembly. This does not necessarily mean authoring resolutions, but you must be able to demonstrate active engagement with the GA. This is an essential requirement.
• Happy to act as a Moderator within the forum. While we don't have time requirements for our volunteer staff, you do need to be willing to invest some time in learning our policies and in responding to reports, as well as carrying out basic housekeeping duties like pinning at-vote threads, and archiving completed proposal debate threads. It is also worth bearing in mind that being a Moderator may impinge on your posting as a player - if you are an active participant in every current GA drafting thread then for conflict of interests reasons you would not be able to moderate in any of them! There may be occasions when it is preferable for you to refrain from posting an opinion as a player in order to handle the moderation side of things in that thread.
• A willingness to use Discord for intra-team communication, as this makes a massive difference in supporting each other with both initial training and also when seeking advice on rulings.

Following the successful use of self-nominations for both our Technical and NSG Moderators rounds of recruitment, we will continue to allow self-nominations for those with a GA background interested in becoming a moderator. What's the deadline for applying?
There is no particular deadline for applications - when we are no longer looking, this announcement will be taken down. We will look to update people on our progress on a regular basis.

How many people are you looking for?
This depends on the nature of the nominations we receive, however, we intend to appoint at least one Moderator.

I'm not an GAer but still want to be a Moderator - can I apply?
Please do not. We are not currently looking for new Moderators without General Assembly experience (with the exception of those with Portal to the Multiverse experience - see this thread).

I have some blemishes on my Moderation record. Can I still apply?
Yes. This is considered as part of the Moderator team review.

So if they become moderator they would have to give up their secretariat role.
