It's most likely been a busy time for us all as the Holidays have come and gone, yet NS stops for none, and activity in TL/C has continued throughout these last months.

TL/C News and Events

• The populations of TL/C have been on the decline, in line with sitewide trends, but even so TL ended the month with 434 nations and Concord ending with 899 nations.
• In November a major nomination cycle for the council occurred, with 36 individuals joining the council, creating the largest council this year for the regions. In December a minor nomination cycle happened, bringing on 1 individual, having the council end the year with 37 individuals.
• As always recruitment has continued, with The Eltran/Raider Brexit taking first place again for the third month in the row with 245 hours of recruitment, and in total 519.5 hours of recruitment was achieved across 25 recruiters. As always the full awards and leaderboard can be viewed here.
• Creeperopolis ended the month with 166 endorsements, and Mechanocracy ending the month with 199 endorsements.
• As of the end of the month 171 nations were apart of the Ranger Program in Concord.
• On November 3rd Concord celebrated its 6 month anniversary since its transition to a frontier.

LDF Updates

• In the last two months the LDF has taken part in two larger liberation efforts, them being the liberation of Philippines and The Crown Dependency of Hong Kong.
• The LDF also helped our friends in The North Pacific in their WA delegate transition.
• Finally as is the norm LDF members and officers took part in many smaller operations alongside our allies.

TL/C Foreign Affairs Updates

• On November 19th TL/C signed the Rum & Eagles Solidarity Agreement with The North Pacific, as explained in this post by Quebecshire our regions have grown closer, and so to solidify our bond we have created this treaty alongside them.

I've seen several defenders talk about the "liberation" of England recently, so that's already not true, but you can feel free to be specific about our supposed losses.

Actually, England is exactly the type of region I'm talking about. No matter how much you pretend like it isn't, your goal is the destruction of native communities and the history they have created. Our goal is to stop you from doing so. England is 1) In control of the natives, without any external assistance at this point mind you, and 2) all of their history is mantained and not in the least destroyed by your raid. Since you failed at your goal and we succeeded, England was a defender victory. Whether its a proper liberation or not is dubious, I suppose, but utterly irrelevant.

Censoring your FA updates to make yourself look better than you actually are may be normal in the regions you sit in, but if I'm providing a foreign affairs roundup, I include the good and the bad.

I will be incredibly honest and say I'm far to lazy to censor. I take the biggest events I'm informed about or remember, I'm not a very active member of the LDF so most LDF stuff simply falls under my radar. If you're looking for TL/C propaganda that isn't my department, perhaps ask our cultural director for that.

If we define victory as completing the objectives you set out to complete, then it is absolutely a defender victory, with our objectives being to restore the native government. Now normally I would assume that the raider objective would be to destroy and/or refound the region, which they obviously failed at, but since you claim that was not the objective, would you mind enlightening us all on what this objective is?

The League & Concord Ratifies the Modern Gameplay Compact

In the aftermath of the departure of the New Pacific Order and the West Pacific from the Modern Gameplay Compact, the remaining signatories reached out to The League & Concord as part of their discussions regarding how the alliance would be composed going forward. Today, they have approved our ascension to the organization and the Consulate has concurrently ratified the agreement.

While this may come as surprising to some, in reality this move at the present time is a reasonable evolution of our current foreign affairs. We remain close and strong allies with Europeia and Balder, deepening said ties with this decision, and elevate our relationship with The North Pacific to include this multilateral alliance in addition to our bilateral non-aggression pact.

Our immediate priorities upon getting settled in this organization are a brief amendment to the preamble of the agreement as discussed during ascension negotiations, which will explicitly recognize the membership of both Independent and defender regions as a part of the MGC, and the formal affirmation of Concord as a protected signatory Frontier.

We look forward to contributing to the alliance's discourse and policies, and intend no other changes to our foreign affairs direction and makeup as a part of this move. Any questions or concerns about this move or any others may be directed to the Office of the Consulate.
