[DRAFT] Condemn Sedgistan

[Castillian Mission to the World Assembly]

Good evening fellow statesmen,

After the despicable legality ruling issued by Sedgistan regarding the legislation brought forth by the gentleman from Eternal Algerstonia, the Castillian Federation is compelled to admonish Sedgistan through the WA mechanisms. The Federation aims to introduce to the floor of the Security Council the following proposal:

The Security Council,

Understanding that the World Assembly and its Security Council, as the world's governing body is fundamentally by the nature of its democratic processes a democratic institution that relies on democratic norms.

Applauding the initiative of numerous states participating in the Security Council to create a more positive and encouraging environment for delegates to participate in.

Acknowledging the delegate from Sedgistan's role is more or less a de-facto parliamentarian of the Security Council, determining which proposals may or may not violate the established rules of the Security Council.

Disgusted by the delegate from Sedgistan's decision to hold the proposal "No Shitposting", introduced to the floor of the Security Council by the delegate from Eternal Algerstonia, illegal under Rule 2A of the Security Council.

Confused as to why the proposal was held illegal, as delegates are indeed able to shitpost.

Horrified that the decision by the delegate from Sedgistan essentially means that Sedgistan as a state endorses shitposting, an activity no different from state-sponsored terrorism, except in a diplomatic format.

Furthermore disgusted as the decision to hold "No Shitposting" illegal is a violation of the aforementioned democratic norms of the security council.

Concerned that this decision may influence more nations to pursue shitposting in the Security Council and openly embrace the authoritarian position of the Sedgistan nationstate.

Thereby it be resolved by the Security Council that the polity known as Sedgistan is hereby condemned by the Security Council.

"If that were the reason the delegate and resident parliamentarian from Sedgistan held the proposal illegal, our office would have had no issue with it. Instead, the parliamentarian held the proposal illegal under Rule 2A for making reference to shitposting, implying that delegates lack the ability to shitpost. I love freedom, and it is clear that the entire nation of Sedgistan hates freedom and wants to ensure shitposting can be harnessed to foment authoritarian movements across the known universe. This is bad, really really bad.

Given the concern from other delegates about rule 3A which I remind them is nonsensical at best and fascistic at worst, I will if necessary make a motion to suspend the rules and pass the proposal. If necessary, I will introduce a declaration to vacate the position of the de-facto parliamentarian from Sedgistan."

The Castillian representative rises yet again. He's getting real tired of having to rise everytime the representative from Ostrovskiy, who doesn't have any clue what they're talking about, keeps interjecting. He thinks about it for a moment, and then realizes it's not worth the time.

"Since members of this body are still concerned about the legality of certain motions and whether the mechanisms for them exist, I will introduce a declaration proposal to limit debate to not include debate on the legality of this proposal under Rule 3A. I have already declared it legal under that rule, and some representatives who I will not name still rise, not even making a point of order, to insist that this proposal is illegal. Furthermore, I will introduce a second declaration to raise a question of privilege to request the parliamentarian from Sedgistan to assist with finding a method to make this proposal legal. If these declarations fail, then I shall introduce subsequent declarations consisting of motions to reconsider.
