Birivistice tops the table with more breathing room. Only 1 loss in 16 games is an insane statistic but deserved due to their very stout defense. Notably the CB pairing of Shelli Leslie and Snezhana Yermilova has worked great in concert with Jessica Brody to shut down most chances. No defense even comes close in terms of Goals Allowed, they are a 5 less than the second best defense (Ostrogia Arca).

What also helps is that Marcous Ardin is having a great season as well thanks to Abigail Kay and Pesfithic Ariovistice. Marcous is no Artin Derc but it feels like he has more freedom to score and express himself on the field of play. "Marcous is having the time of his life out there" jokes Louis Chatrous Valeire "He's always had the ability but maybe not enough freedom to do what he has this season". Valerie also expresses admiration of Abigail Kay's Leadership: "She has been amazing for the team. An amazing person who even at our lows picks up the team immensely".

Angevines are back where they were at the end of last season: Second place within striking distance. This time it seems they are the only challengers at the present time. The club has also seemingly found their footing defeating Pontmeosont 4-1, Pion 3-0, and Ostrogia Arca 1-0. Sen Aix-Chaglau has seemingly integrated nicely with the team and Heralde Canter is having a great season so far. Manager Firouja Carvallijes has expressed immense optimism exclaiming: "We have all the tools to win the title!"

Pontmeosont is having a pretty crazy season. The attack is amazing and has got them back to the top 4 position they were at last year. This time feels different than last year as well. Pontmeosont had to hold off many contenders for top 4 and their attack stalled out near the end of the year. This year on the other hand they have blasted through many opponents with one of the most aggressive attacks in the league, however the defense is holding them back from truly contending right now. Losing 4-1 to Birivistice and even 2-1 to Bourgondines indicates that there is still much work to do.

Eolorent has suprised everyone with a very strong season so far. A balance of a solid attack and a solid defense shines through for this team. Manager Ruseau Giesont had choice words for the media after defeating Lorent Cardinaux 3-2: "I think what happened last year was an outlier. The team is still a great team and at this point you have to acknowledge that. If you do not then I cannot help you, you just do not know football".

In the race for top 4 Auprussia NF is still right there with Eolorent but just 3 points behind them is a resurgent Lorent Cardinaux. After avenging their loss against Lorent Arca they have been in pretty good form only 1 defeat in 8 games is nothing to scoff at. With Auprussia NF slipping in form due to injuries there is no reason to think Lorent Cardinaux will not be able to compete for Top 4.
Auprussia NF is having a pretty unlucky season as noted, injuries are not really hurting the starters (Except for Marshavin) but the depth is taking a significant hit. Substitutes being injured forces Auprussia to stretch their depth very thin and it is taking a toll on the team. Some even speculate that Foron Dosouni may lose his job this year due to poor performance.

In terms of the relegation battle, Ostissiennes didn't quite get out before the halfway point of the season but are poised to survive at the very least. TALON Touslander and Pion have been HORRIFIC in the league so far. Pion fired manager Jean Barralin for an absolutely terrible managerial performance so far. Assistant Arou Parchallioux has taken over and hopefully will position Pion to survive.

TALON Touslander still has one of the WORST attacks in the league with only 18 goals in 24 games. It was obvious they were not ready for Lige 1 but this does sting heavily.

Pontmeosont tops the table on Goal Difference. The attack is absolutely relentless and has resulted (at least for the time being) in Pontmeosont being in great position. Alan Rugeau said in a press conference: "Honestly I think the reason for our success is our unity. We play for each other and that's how you win titles". The defense has also tightened up significantly and has become at least average. It could be good enough to win the title at this rate.

Birivistice is second only on Goal Difference and there is no reason to think they wont fight for the title in the end. The defense has held fast which makes gaining points against them incredibly difficult. Note that they are only 2 points above Angevines and 4 points above Eolorent. Those two clubs can also challenge for the title as well and have the talent to do so. There is no panic at Birivistice but keep an eye on the race for first this season.

Auprussia NF and Lorent Cardinaux are also challenging for Top 4. Auprussia NF has been in this position the whole season and with Floriss Marshavin's return they could threaten to gain that top 4 spot.

Lorent Cardinaux is the biggest surprise here. While Cardinaux have made moves in the Transfer Window Striker Ariou Adalrisse is thriving under the new system instituted by Caiser Marchoux. Justin McGrady has ended up being a great complimentary piece and Ricarda Sahlin has made the attack solid and dependable. Not to mention they have a relatively good defense and the potential to gain a top 4 placing is just within reach. Etheur Briganteun has also shown to be able to meet the challenge of Lige 1.

In the Relegation battle, Pion and TALON Touslander are still struggling being 10 and 7 points off of survival respectively. Alandroite is in the drop as well but have a realistic chance of survival. Chagris NF, Salvienne AN, and Brunisse are staring into the abyss at the moment, being a mistake away from the drop. VS Frisia surprisingly is safely in the middle of the table along with Ostissiennes and Tiffisen Moineau.

In Lige 2 Origones Auprus just needs to win a few more games for guaranteed safety as they have dominated Lige 2 all season long. Morgavin has moved back into second place and promotion which has surprised everyone. The club could be the second ever Alba-Morgavin club to reach the top of the Auprussian pyramid.

Prus Sassenlan is holding off 3 surprising promotion candidates in De Guirre, Prus Nasionel, Cresseleur NS, and Astellavoce. Only 3 points separates 3rd and 7th with 10 matchdays left to go.

The race for the title has taken an interesting turn as Angevines place first in the standings. Birivistice had two disappointing draws which led to the club slipping down to 3rd place. Pontmeosont has ascended back to second place with a great performance against Louss ANF but a slip up against Lorent Arca has stopped them from topping the table. Eolorent has stayed the course and has a 3 point cushion from 5th place Auprussia NF.

When asked about the recent dip in form Marcous Ardin urged calm: "I think it's easy to overreact at this stage in the league; we still have 8 games to go and it is on us to gain a result". Manager Louis Valerie has supported his Striker's comments noting: "He is correct of course. I think we would be better off keeping our composure rather than losing it at the last hurdle". Notably there still seems to be no real panic from Birivistice's upper brass. Notably owner Volisc Halavise has been optimistic about their future: "We are ecstatic with our progress so far and we look forward to many great years to come".

Irtan Glandauve had this to say about Angevines' current standing: "We must continue. There is no stopping, there is no losing the plot. We must stay focused always". Angevines have done well to get this far but last year had indicated that the club can lose positions and gain questionable results against inferior competition. Time will tell if the club will be able to hold off their championship opposition.

Lorent Cardinaux's Ariou Adalrisse had choice words for Lorent Arca: "When you speak about other club's being 'deserving' or whatever nonsense their manager spews you usually have to back it up at some point. Being 9th in the table after being second does not scream 'deserving' to me!". When asked why the response right now he further stated: "Because the people running that club are morons. They need media training right away".

No one from Lorent Arca choose to comment at this time.

In the relegation race Alandroite have pulled themselves up to safety for the time being with Salvienne AN also trailing behind them. Pion and TALON Touslander might as well be relegated right away and quietly Pion are looking towards more academy players to replace their current roster. TALON Touslander has essentially been shellshocked at their poor performance considering their Lige 2 campaign was very smooth.

TALON Touslander still has the worst attack in the league.

Pontmeosont will probably break the goals record in a season while Birivistice may also break the record for least goals allowed.

Birivistice reclaims the top position of the table with 2 important victories while Angevines had faltered with 2 draws. The title race is still very tight however due to Pontmeosont's good form as of late. Birivistice has to be on guard throughout the last 6 matchdays or they might let the title slip out of their hands.

Lorent Cardinaux has taken a place in the top 4 by goal difference with as good of an attack as Pontmeosont. The issue is that they have suffered from middling early results like losing to Lorent Arca early. While they have avenged that loss it may be too late to make a title charge now because of that. Eolorent now has to fight for top 4 with Lorent Cardinaux albeit with no real pressure from others on the table. Auprussia NF is distant while those below Auprussia NF are not close to top 4 contention at all.

In the relegation race Salvienne AN is still within striking distance of Alandroite and Chagris NF while TALON Touslander and Pion are hopelessly distant. There is still time for a comeback but it is becoming increasingly clear that neither TALON or Pion should be Lige 1 clubs any longer.

Chagris NF and Tiffisen Moineau have also noticeably slipped in form as well putting them in danger of Relegation in case both Alandroite and Salvienne end up going on a good run of form.

TALON Touslander has one of the worst attacks in history, scoring only 28 goals in 36 games meanwhile Pion has had one of the worst defenses ever with 70 goals conceded in 36 games.

In Lige 2 (While the table is not listed) Origones Auprus has clinched promotion already and will be in Lige 1 next season.

Top 4 is completely locked up for the rest of the season with Birivistice, Angevines, Pontmeosont, and Lorent Cardinaux vying for the title. Only 3 points separates 1st and 4th with 2 games remaining. Lorent Cardinaux is completely ahead of schedule according to some sources. The leap in results was not expected in the slightest and has ownership racing to find ways to invest in the team. Pontmeosont has completely stopped all notions of letting go Vala Reocharde and they look to keep going as well. Angevines with no transfers has still maintained their top 4 footing. Rumors abound that Angevines may start looking at younger talent both in Auprussia and around the world to bolster this run.

Then there's Birivistice.

A club that even last season was never expected to win the title now has completely cemented their place as a top club in Auprussia. Not only good domestic results but respectable international results like defeating Raynor City United twice or getting to the FFI Quarterfinals; It could be an all-time run at this rate.

In the relegation race both TALON Touslander and Pion are officially relegated however the real surprise is the last relegation spot. 15th-20th are all at risk for relegation with Alandroite and VS Frisia fighting to stay in Lige 1 after their promotion. Salvienne AN are in the same spot as last year having areal risk of falling to the drop. Ostissiennes, Brunisse and Tiffisen Moineau are not too likely to drop but there is still an unease in the air at those clubs.

Not to mention the final 3 of Tasse Du Auprussia Nasional is also Lorent Cardinaux, Birivistice, and Auprussia NF all fighting for silverware as well. Two more matchdays left with everything on the line here at Lige 1.

AUPRUSSIA GRIDIRON LIGE D'ACIER

The first season of Lige D'Acier is the first foray into gridiron for Auprussia. The notable discrepancies in league sizes are attributed to the open nature of the league and the regionalization of it. Almost anyone can find a team in the league at this point and some regions (Like Teolan) have leaned into the sport more so than others. Each champion of each league will qualify for the playoffs and the 7 second place teams with high enough Win% leaving two second place teams unable to qualify. There was a ranking system than was considered that took into account league strength but most of the teams would not agree to such a system at the present time.

Only 8 teams are needed to create a league and each league can add any team that it wants within its assigned region with max of 14 teams per league. It is a chaotic but exciting time in Auprussia as Football's Lige system has rebuilt a substantial amount of it's predecessor's infrastructure with more and more Auprussians looking to sport for opportunities. Leaving a lot of entrepreneurs scrambling to get in on any sport possible.

There is also a rumors abound about a colonization program to find abandoned lands within the Rejected Realms to expand to but there is no real proof that such a program exists.

With the start of the 3rd season of Lige 1 there's a couple of things to clear up. Since the first 2 seasons of Lige 1 have been successful the recently formed national sports network RAPTOR is starting to televise some Lige 1 games nationally. Not all of them of course as this season is somewhat of a test run but it is an exciting time for the league in general. RAPTOR is a network that was formed by Bernet Auldons after the demise of Lige PRO and has grown exponentially with highlights coverage of Lige 1 and Lige D'Acier (the newly formed Gridiron League). Now they are trying their hand at live sports coverage and the results have been received well for the most part.

With that being said the pedestrian start that Birivistice has gone off to has inspired a bit of dread with fans. It is not uncommon for top teams to drop points to inferior opposition in Lige 1 but the most concerning result for the club was a win. At home against Morgavin they conceded 3 goals to a side that has just been promoted from Lige 2. The other concerning result is dropping points to title rival Lorent Cardinaux in a 1-0 match that felt more like a 3-0.

On the other hand Auprussia NF has gone off to a fast start like the past two seasons but there is something a bit different about this squad. Of course only conceding 5 goals in 8 games is great already, being undefeated in 8 games is also great as well but the biggest thing with this current squad is that it is very hard to keep up with them. Take for instance the 4-0 win over Noechatel Athletike: Auprussia NF ran all over the Noechatel defense with incredible speed. Counter-attacks from this team are incredibly lethal and it seems that Ayta Entezam is getting better at finishing those chances Brandsdottir and Valdestoa-Glousie have made lethal pass after lethal pass from the counter which has thrown their opponents off immensely.

Angevines has been off to a great start as well with a very notable win over Pontmeosont. The attack is as advertised so far and Semso Ejubovic has improved the defense a bit as well. Like always with Angevines though the real concern is if this form can hold up over the course of the season. Irtan Glandauve has been having a pretty great season for Angevines and Heralde Canter has been consistent as well. The midfield has been pretty good at keeping possession and making key passes as well.

Lorent Cardinaux have had a pretty good start to the season as well. Of course the biggest win they got was a win over Birivistice. The team overall has looked very impressive barring a loss to rivals Eolorent in which some concern could be made apparent. Losing the lead early to Eolorent made the team switch off, almost like it was too shocking to the team and by the time they made adjustments it was too late. That absolutely needs to be cleaned up soon or they will never win the title like that.

Tiffisen Moineau rounds out the top 4, almost reenacting what Lorent Arca did the previous season. Going off on a crazy start only to prove middling by the end of the season. It will not be much different from that run it seems but pay attention to the midfield. There seems to be some flashes of quality shining through and it would be very interesting to see if any clubs will attempt to poach them come the next transfer window.

It was inevitable but Pontmeosont, Eolorent, and Beorun are struggling to find their footing to start the season. It is not too shocking that Pontmeosont is starting out slow. Missing Rugueau means their playmaking has regressed a bit and Levitt while showing flashes of brilliance still needs time to develop. Eolorent is doing fine being unbeaten in 8 games but 6 draws in 8 games is a bit concerning. Not being able to get decisive results could undermine them. Beorun is more disappointing because they were supposed to take the next step this season but it has been only 8 games so far which means there is time to right the ship.

Morgavin have been the most shocking team so far. An unbelievable performance against Birivistice shows that the club means business and that they are willing to compete where most thought they could not. Richard Guyot, Waltaire Avgaultier, and Emerie De Gaul-Vistore have been stand out performers for the club.

Out of all of the clubs near or in the drop so far Bourgondines has been the most putrid. 0 wins in 8 and a soul-crushing tendency to lose or draw at the last minute of matches. There is already talk of sacking manager Rafoe Chantelaire and it would not be too soon. VS Frisia has also had the soul-crushing results and have only scored 4 goals...4. This is going to be a long season.

After the 16th matchday of Lige 1 the season is looking remarkably competitive. Lorent Cardinaux has topped the table by only 1 point over Auprussia NF with impressive wins over Tiffisen and Angevines but a major loss to Auprussia NF. As expected, Ariou Adalrisse is doing very well for the club and with a stronger midfield it makes the attack much more potent. The defense has held steady so far with the exception of the Auprussia NF match. Most of their matches (like the 5-0 rout of Tiffisen) indicate a more possession based gameplan than in previous seasons with timely runs that ultimately result in clear chances and goals. When directly clashing with a counter-attacking style like Auprussia NF displayed it seems they are much more susceptible to counter attacks from pacey wingers which could bode poorly further in to the season.

Auprussia NF is still holding on to a Top 4 spot and is one point away from 1st but two concerning losses have made many doubters again. The loss to Birivistice away was not as egregious, it was a hard fought match that ended with a clutch Marcous Ardin goal in the dying minutes. The REALLY concerning loss was to Bourgondines: a 4-1 rout against a very poor team in poor form at home. Dropping points to clubs like that may end any hopes of challenging for the title if such form continues and it was addressed by manager Foron Dosouni: "I think that is an outlier of both effort and our ability. Of course we must be better and we will continue to improve as the season goes on. I believe this squad has everything for top 4 and the title, I truly do."

Birivistice has pulled it together going 6-1-1 with an important win over Auprussia NF at home. The defense is still unstable which is very concerning for this team considering the amount of clubs with attacks that are very lethal in differing ways. Birivistice's attack has hung in with the best attacks in the league which has been a saving grace this season but the defense must improve for the eventual title challenge to come.

Salvienne AN is having an unbelievable season. The results indicate that it has distinguished itself from their mid-table peers with a very balanced team that has ripped through lesser opponents over the course of the season so far. Obviously there is skepticism that this will keep up but the very fact Salvienne AN has broken into the top 4 at all after last year's dreadful season is incredible. Lise Berger has been a big contributor along with Italcer Aman-De Carontousse. Jorvique Thienne has been playing incredibly as well.

Eolorent and Noechatel Athletike are keeping up incredibly well. Eolorent with one of the stingiest defenses in the league with an insane intensity and grueling physicality that outright wears opponents down. Denise Auburn and Partelu Joard are working well enough but the real killer: DRAWS. Nine draws in 16 games is ludicrous and shows a lack of decisiveness from the team. Eolorent is in a transitional year and it does seem the team is settling in very nicely BUT they could achieve a lot more this season with a couple more wins. Noechatel Athletike are a pretty stout veteran team that has hung around the mid-table for two seasons at this point but one revelation for the team is Drac Mortonaif. Drac has given the attack some real life and has contributed to the goal tally himself. A pretty great find for the aging lineup.

Angevines have had a rough time with only 2 wins in 8 games. The biggest culprit is an incredible tendency to lose the lead late in matches. For example against Lorent Arca Viktor Caraglau let in an all-time howler that had taken the wind off the club's sails during the match leading to dropped points. Losing to a Justin Mcgrady long shot in the 88th minute was also heartbreaking, and conceding a penalty in the 94th minute against Morgavin that put the game away for good. Without those dropped points they would most certainly be in the top 4 and possibly in the title race but with how anti-clutch the squad has been it does not seem very certain that they even crack the top 4.

Ostissiennes has been way worse than most expected due to an incredibly leaky defense. Letting in 29 goals in 16 games is a recipe for disaster which is seemingly destiny at this point. They were tempting fate last year where it was uncertain that they would survive until close to the end of the season. Peteur Chalmont and Heront Vassillen have been notably worse than usual during this stretch and it has become unbearable to watch.

The other painful team to watch is Beorun. Flashes of brilliance followed by flashes of inane mistakes make this team insanely hard to follow and time may be running out for manager Chara Leterisse. Drawing Chagris NF in one of the most frustrating games is the epitome of Beorun's season so far outplaying their opponents well until the end when they were hit with a fast counter attack that resulted in a draw.

Origones Auprus deserves a mention for giving clubs many problems so far. The biggest surprise about the club is the organized and well-supported defense. Not the best defense in the league but a very physical and very rough defense that wears so many down especially at home is a very nice thing to have in Lige 1. It looks as if they will be able to hold on and survive the season at this rate which could prove monumental for the club and its ambitions.

In Lige 2 the clubs in promotions spots are all surprising. Grisaif Basonie, De Guirre, and Vasconines were not expected to be in this position 16 games in. Newcomers Palice Rouge have also seemingly made a statement in Lige 2 fighting for promotion right away and Pion are fighting to get back to Lige 1 by any means necessary.

Halfway through the season and the fight for the title has been intense. Auprussia NF is only 3 points ahead but has managed to stay unbeaten through eight games for the second time this season. This leaves Birivistice and Lorent Cardinaux behind albeit with Birivistice quickly catching up. The main issue that has plagued Birivistice was the defense and that has stabilized quite well. The attack looks better than it did last year with Ardin and Abigail Kay leading the way along with a great midfield nothing should be wrong right? Well not exactly. Their anemic start had made it so that for the first time in a very long time Birivistice has to play catchup halfway through the season. Not only that but Auprussia NF and Lorent Cardinaux are way stronger title rivals than even Pontmeosont a year ago which means it becomes that much more difficult to win. The match against Eolorent also exposed the fact that if you do manage to frustrate the attack the team cannot get into the match as well as they could last year.

Auprussia NF on the other hand is cruising. The defense has been improved tremendously without having to sacrifice any offensive output. Ayta Entezam is having a breakout season which is very welcomed by the club. The new arrivals have been excellent in League play so far and there has to be attention given to the CB pairing of Hwan Yoon-Mi and Jose Barajas for the incredible job they have been doing. Felgrande Istimer has turned out to be a good defender but somehow a better attacker with some really great key passes to the forwards as well.

Lorent Cardinaux while six points behind Auprussia NF have managed to stay the course. Only one really concerning result is conceding 3 at home to Ostrogia Arca which could be chalked up to as a bad day but that's the issue. Cardinaux has had one too many "bad days" that are starting to stack up. In a title race that has the potential to be very tight losses like that cannot happen so often. The team's consistency is the real issue, sometimes they look like world beaters and other times they look like a mid-table side. Consistency is this team's weakness and it does not bode well for their title chances.

Noechatel Athletike takes the top 4 spot this time around and it is chaos from 4th through 10th. Chagris NF and Salvienne AN are losing their form while Eolorent, Beorun, and Pontmeosont are regaining some ground and Angevines look dead in the water right now. Eolorent is the most likely to catch up to Noechatel considering that they have turned some of their draws into wins this time but 13 draws is still a bit concerning. Beorun has gotten their act together and are trying to charge up to that 4th place spot while Pontmeosont...

Pontmeosont's concern isn't really the league this season. There's another competition that has kept this team occupied all season and it does deserve its own spotlight but for now let's just leave it as: They have done surprisingly well.

In the relegation spots VS Frisia stands out as a remarkably bad team. Their attack is disjointed and very disorganized. No one should be blaming the new arrivals either this has been a problem since last season as well. The defense has actually held it's own compared to their peers, if they could just score a couple of a goals they could be out of the drop in no time. Ostissienens on the other hand have no such luck. They score and score but cannot stop an attack to save its life. The match that displays this the most is the 2-1 loss to Morgavin where they managed to draw the game level and then instantly concede on a counter-attack to lose the game.

Meanwhile in Lige 2 two Basony teams are in the Promotion spots while De Guirre surprisingly still keeps the top spot. Basonique Trethaire would be the favorite in this scenario as they have enough quality to get into Lige 1 but the consistency is what they need to work on. De Guirre may still be able to stick around the promotion spots but the really surprising team is Grisauf Basonie. Grisauf was not really a favorite to get promoted this season because most pegged the club as a standard mid-table Lige 2 side but they have managed to set Lige 2 on fire with the best attack in the league.

Nearing the home stretch of the Lige 1 season the title race has become a battle between 2 teams. Auprussia NF has been dominant this season only losing twice in 32 games. Along with one of the best defenses as well as one of the best attacks in the league. The team seemingly has no weaknesses and has stopped with the inexplicable results. Auprussia NF right now is a machine that just cannot be stopped. Even when they have struggled they have managed to pull out results like the 4-3 victory over Morgavin or the 2-1 victory over Ostissiennes. Is this the team that overthrows Birivistice? In any estimation it's the most likely outcome.

Birivistice's story is one of tenacity this season. After a quite frankly terrible start the club has gotten its act together and is now ready for the title charge. However, there are definite weaknesses with the team. As noted if you grind Birivistice down in the beginning of the match it becomes harder for the team to get into the match. Thankfully the defense is starting to stabilize but it could be too little too late if they cannot outpace Auprussia NF. There is an expressed concern about Pesfithic Ariovistice as well, rumors abound that the left winger is hoping to move after this season and that could be a reason for some instability as well but that is not confirmed at the present.

Lorent Cardinaux has dropped out of the title race entirely. Bogged down by bad results like losing 4-2 to Chagris NF really killed off the title challenge. Thankfully it is very unlikely that Cardinaux drops out of the Top 4 but for a season with very high expectations it became disappointing very fast, it is also very likely that at least Ariou Adalrisse is gone after this season if the rumors are to be believed.

Beorun has taken the top 4 spot this time and it has been quite the journey for the club. The defense has improved significantly and the attack is starting to come into its own. Gentile, Valaude, and Isidroux have improved quite a bit but the real story is the defense. Garsa Vinisses and Loderique Ruvielle have been great defenders for the season but do not be fooled, their position is still precarious. 5th-10th place all can challenge for top 4 right now and any slip ups would be punished severely.

The relegation spots are clearly defined right now with 20th place Ostissiennes 3 points behind a resilient but overmatched Prus Ostrogia squad. VS Frisia is barely hanging on to safety as well. On the other hand Bourgondines are in a very bad position being 8 points away from safety with a horrid defense but their attack is not the worst in the league, that title goes to the aforementioned VS Frisia who has only scored a whopping...23 goals in 32 games. That is 10 less than the next worse attack and it really sums up how bad the season has gone for Frisia.

In Lige 2 De Guirre keeps their top position and is ahead by 10 points. De Guirre is more than likely to be promoted to Lige 1 next season which is huge for a smaller club such as De Guirre. Alandroite is in second place with 53 points and it seems that even without Elmaire deu Cavaldraissaiy they have the capability of getting back to Lige 1. Gantille ANF is in the third promotion spot but they along with Alandroite are not as safe as De Guirre. Any four of Basonique Trethaire, Grisauf Basonie, Alexia, and Mosstenfau are capable of capturing those promotion spots as well.

Auprussia NF still tops the table 4 points ahead of Birivistice. The 3-3 draw with Lorent Cardinaux looked like a setback but Birivistice could not capitalize losing 3-1 to a rock bottom Bourgondines squad. This has enabled Auprussia NF to extend their lead if only by a point. Every setback Birivistice has will make it that much harder to catch up to Auprussia NF as they have only lost twice in the whole season. Ayta Entezam has been excellent for the club along with Brandsdottir and Valdestoa-Glousie and they have one of the best defenses in the league as well.

Lorent Cardinaux while not in contention for the title at the present still needs to be weary of their position. Right now they are in 3rd place but are only 3 points ahead of 4th place Beorun. During their match against Angevines Ariou Adalrisse seemed a little banged up as well but it was confirmed that the injury was very minor. Still any injuries right now would be immensely catastrophic for the club.

Beorun on the other hand are over the moon this season. After a brutal start to the season the club has bounced back and is holding on to 4th place at the present moment. All 3 starting forwards have developed nicely and the defense has become an incredible unit but...that midfield is still a weak point which they do need to sort out before the season ends. Noechatel Athletike, Eolorent, Chagris NF, and Angevines are still threats to overtake Beorun while Pontmeosont is out of the Challengers Cup and could potentially make a charge for the 4th spot as well.

In the relegation battle only one spot is really contested. Bourgondines and Louss ANF have shown over the course of the season that they are vastly inferior teams to the rest of the league but the third spot is interesting. Prus Ostrogia and VS Frisia are in a dogfight to get out of the drop and Frisia is only up on Goal Difference. Brunisse and Ostissienens are also verifiable candidates for the drop with their unimpressive performances as well. One thing that does benefit Prus Ostrogia is that VS Frisia have the worst attack in the league and can't seem to score decisive wins over most of the League.

Rumors abound that Origones Auprus are also building up their facilities and scouting in what seems like an attempt to transform themselves into a bigger club. Not all the details are clear at the moment but the owner of Origones Matteu Ledevont has made lucrative business ventures that could result in more investment in the club. In fact, a lot of Lige 1 and 2 teams have started to build up academies along with some other group who have already made academies. As noted the details are not all clear but the future of Auprussian football is on the upswing for the first time in a very, very long time.

Another turn in the playoff race as Auprussia NF draw with Birivistice and loses a heartbreaking game against Angevines which lets Birivistice slowly back into the title race. The draw with Birivistice is excusable even though it was at home but the loss to Angevines is another story. Up 2-0 early on in the game they slowly but surely turned into traffic cones. It wasn't Angevines' forwards that did the damage but the midfield and defense. How does Rian Lerdru of all people score the game winning goal is anyone's guess but it happened and it has let concern creep back into the minds of fans. The concern is unwarranted though, one bad game does not mean all of Auprussia NF's work this season is for nothing, they still lead the title race by 4 points and most likely will hold on. Auprussia NF fans just need to relax.

In the race for top 4 a familiar name has come back from the abyss: Pontmeosont. The dominating 4-0 win against Morgavin cements their place in the top 4 for now but as noted throughout the year the 4th spot is never safe. only 4 points separate 4th from 10th and both Eolorent and Beorun have maintained good enough form to be in 4th place. Salvienne AN and Chagris NF have been some of the most surprising stories of this year being able to compete with teams they normally would just lose to and are in striking distance for IFCF spots. Angevines after a disappointing start to the season has been slowly coming back into the top 4 race with improved form and Noechatel Atheltike has the attack necessary to compete with the best teams but the defense has been an albatross on their neck. 4 matchdays left and everything to play for in the top half of the table.

The relegation spots are still very much the same, albeit Frisia are picking up a point here and there and Brunisse has shown to be very ineffective as of late. Bourgondines despite valiant performances has been at the bottom for half the year and Louss ANF has been awfully disappointing. To most the only club capable of getting out of those spots is VS Frisia but they have to do it quickly, Brunisse and Prus Ostrogia can earn a win and put Frisia out for good. If Frisia does survive they need to solve that attack and quickly, it cannot be this way next season.

Andre Mirdeau for Pontmeosont has fully replaced the injured Rogeur Letaire for the rest of the season and is having quite a good run of form. The young striker is going to be very key down the stretch for Pontmeosont if they want to maintain top 4.

Auprussia NF is slowing down at the worst time with untimely draws while Birivistice slowly but surely climb up the standings. Now Birivistice are within striking distance and there is a sense of unease at Auprussia NF. If Birivistice pulls this off it would be a three-peat and a potential double if they win Tasse Du Auprussia as well. The most inexcusable result this season for Auprussia NF is a 2-4 loss to relegation candidates VS Frisia and there's not a good reason why it happened. Frisia's attack is paltry, it is one of the worst attacks in the league but managed to score 4 on a solid defense. Bizarre results like that need to stop now.

For Birivistice they need to win at least one of the next two to have a shot at the title and they cannot draw level to Auprussia NF due to worse goal difference. The best way to the title seems to win their last two games against VS Frisia away and Lorent Arca at home. Two very winnable games and a much easier two game stretch than Auprussia NF's games against Slavienne AN at home and Prus Ostissia away. Focus still needs to be applied or else the title could slip through their fingers.

The race for 4th is a very intriguing one. Beorun has a 2 point lead over Pontmeosont and a 3 point lead over Eolorent and Angevines. One win for Beorun eliminates both Eolorent and Angevines from the race and to catch up Pontmeosont would need to win against a desperate Bourgondines side away. It is possible to lose their grip on 4th but with solid performances it is highly unlikely. Chagris NF and Salvienne AN are outside contenders for 4th but they would need a lot of help to get there.

All 3 promoted teams from Lige 2 are safe and have accomplished very good seasons. Origones and Morgavin especially proved that they belong in Lige 1 outright and there's a couple of eyes on Origones. Many speculate that something could be brewing at Aupalice which would be very exciting for the league.

The most likely relegation survivors are Brunisse or VS Frisia and they are only 1 point apart from each other. VS Frisia proved they are able to compete with the best after winning against Auprussia NF away and with how dysfunctional Brunisse is could potentially pull themselves out of relegation and into safety. Bourgondines are a dead team walking and it is very unlikely they can escape relegation without a decisive victory and some help from other relegation candidates.
