ABOUT: Alexandria City are one of the two big teams in Alexandria. Alexandria is the third largest city in Xanneria and is located on the west side of York Island. Alexandria City's traditional rival has always been the York Island Metrostars, but due to both teams getting promoted and demoted, there hasn't been a lot of matchups between the two as of late.
PREVEW/REVIEW:Calling Kenneth greenfield a miracle worker is an understatement! Greenfield was the third coach in just under 365 days for Alexandria City. In 2048 Alexandria City was in Crisis and looking like the new owners would struggle with a bad investment that would drop into the abyss known the Gamma Division. Greenfield took over a team that sold a lot of pieces and brought world level talent such as Arnald Gal and Jacque Labrador and turned a team around that had been realing from some bad decisions by a spend first, ask later, management team and secured the Violets first IFCF entry. The team returns a solid core and did very little to change up the formula. They lost Stefan Protzeleik, but let's face it, Ben Biggio is a significant upgrade in that spot. It's interesting to see how a team so famous for their attempts to buy players does after a super quiet offseason.

ABOUT: Located in Anclaire, A province in the southeast of Xanneria, Asbury Park is a city in a low lying coastal area of the southeastern shores of Xanneria. When not being Xanneria's number one party destination, Asbury Park is known as an industrial port city with most trade being done amongst the Beet Sugar producers and Lumber exporters from the western part of the province. The Football team was started late. In 1978 a group of local Anclarian semi-pro teams decided to merge and form a pro team simply called "Asbury Park". By the 90s it was clear the team was going to be a mainstay in the top few flights of Xannerian football, long time investor Henry Benson decided to go through and build "The Benson Dome" a fully indoor stadium used for multiple forms of football. This lead to some interesting early seasons. Due to the turf technology being fairly primitive, it was very common to see teams wear sneakers without cleats. This lead to the Sneakerhead nickname for the team. But by the early 2010s the Turf had been replaced by more forgiving synthetic grass.
PREVEW/REVIEW: Asbury is a team that could finish anywhere from 5th to 11th. The team is a fairly aggressive team with emphasis on speed and sometimes its obvious that this team was not built for that. But in order to combat that, the team has appeared to make it their mission to sign as many former U-21s from Xanneria as possible. Barb Dwire and Toomas Napi have looked great for the Green Wave and many people think that the FAX would call them up to the NT as soon as they jump ship overseas.

ABOUT: Of the teams labeled as the "Modern Big 4" Austin City is probably the one that is the biggest oddball. Located significantly further north than many of the teams in the Omega Division, and Also the second youngest, non WXFA team (we'll get to that later) of the modern International era (12 years older than Asbury Park). Austin City itself traces its history to the mid 1950s when Austin was a booming cattle and oil town within Xanneria. Like with Asbury Park, it was becoming apparent that the two biggest Semi-Pro teams in Austin should merge together. In 1966 this happened and the Austin City FC was formed. The new team took over the Beta tier slot held formerly by Austin Inter FC (the higher ranked of the two clubs who merged). Since then they have stayed in either Omega or Gamma for the last 90s years and are usually favorites for a contending IFCF spot.
PREVEW/REVIEW: The Neon Green of Austin City is proudly worn by Allison Burnes. Arguably the greatest domestic born player in Xanneria, she's the leader of Austin City and the Xannerian NT. She might be considered diminutive by some (5'2" 130lbs) but she can use this to her advantage when playing physically against larger players. The defense is also has a great reputation as former Perce Town player Nikolai Brown and Tina Osper whose consider a solid defender. The wildcard on this team is Urpu Niklassdóttir, a veteran Graintfjaller whose been playing in the Baker Park system.

ABOUT: Bearden is a bit of a forgotten town in Xannerian culture. Set on the north end of lake Kingston Bearden is a town that people know about, but if you ask the common Xannerian, they couldn't tell you a damn thing about the city of Bearden other than it's big and on a lake. Don't let that fool you they still have a huge footballing fan base. The city in fact has two teams in the top 5 levels of Xannerian Football, as rival West Hills FC lurches in the Beta Tier hoping one day to climb back into the same same division of football as their big brothers. (Yeah this is one of those rivalries). As for the teams actual history it is pretty straightforward. A Bearden based hat maker witnessed a game involving the Pearlham SC travelling team and got the itch to create a Bearden based travelling team. That's how Bearden was born. Invited to join the inaugural season of Flox Bearden was not quite the team it was today, bouncing between levels on the pyramid for much of its early formative years. But in the last or so they've been one of the top half teams in Xannerian football.
PREVEW/REVIEW: Bearden, oh Bearden! What has happened? A sixth place back in the day would have been massive disappointment, but now your fans rejoice. Though yes many people thought Bearden wouldn't scratch the top 8 last year, with quality players like EJ Jr at keeper and Italio D'arcy as one of the best scoring midfield threats in FLOX. But still feels weird to see your fans act like this. Joe Swinton has done this before, and he'll do it again. Look for Bearden to comeback to IFCF contention sooner than later.

ABOUT: The team in the know! Capital is well known as the team of the politician. Those connections have gotten the team places but the team has always seemed to be just on the cusp of becoming a "big" team. That isn't to say they haven't had success. Heck! they won the 2048 Omega Division championship. But they also haven't been consistent enough to warrant "big" team status either. As you can tell by the fact they finished 5th in 2049. The team itself has a history befit of a team that has been labeled "the Governments Team". They like many old teams in the day, started as a barnstorm team. When the Football League of Xanneria was formed in 1939, Capital FC became a member. While it seemed innocent for a team in the Capital named Capital FC to get in to a new nationwide league, it was a bit of a shock to see Capital make it in. At the time Northshore FC looked like a lock to get in but in 1939, Capital made it in and Northshore would have to wait 6 years to get into FLOX. It turned out that behind the scenes, Daniel J Quinn a senator from Sutherland had been pulling strings behinds the scenes on behalf of Capital FC. This was by and large due to his fandom of the team and the fact that his main political rival was the owner of Union Sutherland, one of the first teams invited to FLOX. From there on out the political connections have stayed put within Capital FC and its been the primary reason they've stayed afloat as well as they have.
PREVEW/REVIEW: Can Capital contend for a IFCF space? That's the question on everyone's mind. They lost out in the race to the final IFCF spot to Alexandria City. The race finished with them on 34 points and Alex City on 35. So they could make a run again at the IFCF spots. They have the talent with a midfield consisting of Allie Jordan and Riley Greerenbach and a defense lead by Mertagnian NTer Sabrina Aikman. Up front has GIl McKenna, who carried the team in 2048, to lead a scoring attack. The team will rely on him and Nova Denerej to continue to bond with each other if they want to continue. Though the team has been starting to be effected by rumors of Allie Jordan wanting to request a transfer next season. This is reportedly due to her not seeing a lot of playing time in the qualifiers and her supposed belief that the FAX favors players on the Big 4 teams or foreign league players.

ABOUT: CPR was founded in the Carleton Park Neighborhood of Dominica City shortly after the formation of FLOX. The team was founded by a local businessman named Thomas Mervis. Mervis didn't like the political influence that Capital FC extolled, but like any proper Carelton Park native he also hated the Northshore neighborhood and its denizens. So upon hearing that there would be an expansion toward three division in 1945, he formed a Carleton Park team for this purpose even though he knew that he'd have to deal with Northshore wanting to get in. In order to make his team more appealing to the FLOX heads, he willing volunteered for his team to join the lowest tier Alpha division (This was before the creation of the Gamma Division and League V mind you). The plan somewhat backfired as Northshore won promotion from the Beta Division to the Omega Division and CPR flopped around in the bottom of the Alpha Division like they were a fish allergic to water. In fact Daniel Mervis would only see his team play Northshore FC twice in his lifetime before dying in 1963. CPR is now-a-days a bit more stable, but still considered by many a yo-yo team. Infact in the mid 2030s they got promoted twice in five years.
PREVEW/REVIEW:This team made some moves. Nick Zampedri went out and got solid names after solid names to fill up his newly promoted team. Sally Tshingpoga is an ex-U21 player who many think could make it to the NT. But she signed with Delano City and possibly the worst time possible, and found herself on a sinking ship, with a crew that was a sleep. Now she's signed with CPR and maybe if this works out she can find her way onto the Xannerian National Team eventually. Sophitia Coppolla and Stefan Protzeleik are long time veterans of the show who could teach a youthful team a thing or two. Speaking of which, Banijan Olara Otiende was signed as a reserve striker and assistant coach, but lets be honest, they're Banijan, they could run rampart around many other FLOX players while blindfolded. They could easily pop into CPR's starting line up easy.

ABOUT: Does your league have a clearly defined villain? In FLOX we do, and its name is Galaxy SC. While the actual sports club was formed way back in the 40s, it wouldn't be till 1962 though that the footballing arm was formed. In 1962 Baseball player Bruce Pepitone and actor Maxwell Hayes formed the footballing arm of Galaxy SC. (Basically the pair were members of Galaxy SC and essentially got permission to use the name "Galaxy SC" by letting the SC also buy into the team ownership). Galaxy was able to take over the spot left over by the Rogersdale Silvers when they merged into Hawthorne United. But because this was the 60s, this was the Western Xanneria Football Association and not FLOX as FLOX had yet to expand westward. Immediately the team fell out of favor with a lot of WXFA teams. The plastic nature of the team and its identity as a factory made team rather than an organically built team like a lot of the WXFA teams were had made the rest of the league leery of the Astros as they branded themselves. The team that really took offense were the Hawthorne Kickers. The Kickers are a true working class team. A team whose roots are in the meatpacking districts of Hawthorne, and needless to say that clashed heavily with Galaxy's Movieland Jetset crowd that they had built up. When FLOX and thee WXFA merged in 1980 to create the League V tier, the Kickers and Galaxy moved rapidly up the pyramid and by 1989 both teams were in the top flight. But a lot of fans of old guard FLOX teams immediately took a dislike to the Astros, especially the ol' Barnstorming teams of Bearden and Pearlham SC. Pearlham famously had a sports headline in the Pearlham Globe refer to Galaxy SC as Galaxy (SiC) claiming their "Sports Club" was way more legit than Galaxy's.
PREVEW/REVIEW: Ok, so it's very unlikely we see a repeat of last season. a 19-2-1 record with an insane 3.22 Goals per Game, it's unlikely that will be repeated nor will the 1.5 goals per game from former Kelssek National Teamer Roman Torshen. But the team is still looking to see what the answers are for a handful of questions. The main one being, how will Annamarie Amber do as a starter. She was a reserve behind Jari Juups last year but he has moved on and she will be starting alongside Torshen this season. She has a TON of potential as a striker winning Player XII as an 18 year old, but now one year later can she handle the pressure of starting? That being said Galaxy SC falling out of IFCF contention is very unlikely but it's to what degree do they fall back to earth that's going to be worth watching.

ABOUT: In all honesty, a large chunk of the history of Hawthorne Kickers is tied into Galaxy SC and was written about above. The Movieland Derby between Galaxy SC and the Hawthorne Kickers is widely regarded as the best rivalry in Xanneria and a top rivalry in Esportiva. The team is not labeled as the oldest in FLOX (that belongs to Pearlham SC) but they can trace their roots back to the early 1900s. The team was a side project of meatpacking tycoon Edward Searcy and largely was made up of The team itself was not pro or even semi-pro till 1934 a full 12 years after Pearlham SC's football team was founded. The Kickers were an early powerhouse outwest in the Western Xanneria FA, and after the WXFA, FLOX merger they rapidly rose through the ranks. Largely seen as a blue collar team and one of the finest examples of a blue collar team in Xanneria. They also are the most sucessfull domestic team in FLOX history make it to the finals of CEdC 32 before losing 3-2 to Waldstrem Lions of South Newlandia.
PREVEW/REVIEW:It's the Kickers one of FLOX most consistent teams, they have depth, they have talent, they have stars! Up front they have Dillon Hailey a second generation stud and he's been teamed up with Yolinda Sequin a star whose been in the Hawthorne footballing scene since birth pretty much. Ayin Kabir comes over from Pearlham, one of the few FLOX players to play on a WC roster, he moved on from Pearlham and hopes to continue his star run in FLOX. Overall it seems as if another IFCF run in in the books, even though the season hasn't started.

ABOUT: Hawthorne United is the red headed step child of Hawthornian football. They don't have the glamour of Galaxy SC nor the blue collar aura of Hawthorne Kickers. They just sort of exist. They are the underdog of west coast Xannerian football. They were formed in the early 70s when two WXFA teams merged together. These where Blue Valley FC in northern Hawthorne, and the Rogersdale Silvers. Unlike Kickers and Galaxy, HU never had the rapid ascension to the Omega Division that those two had. They didn't make the second tier till 1992, a dozen years after the WXFA / FLOX Merger and it wasn't till 2004 that they first made the Omega Divsion.since then they've yo-yo'd around the top two tiers along with occasional bouts of third tier football. This last run though has been significantly more consistent with the leadership of Kevin Brosseau stabilizing the team.
PREVEW/REVIEW: The team had hope for a top half finish last year but struggled a bit when in compairison. A fairly Anemic offense, third worst of the teams that didn't get demoted, was largely to blame for the 7-5-10 record. Hailey Rae Crawford remains a star at keeper and is still a valued member of the Xannerian National Team. Niel Broadhead did his best with the offense, and did score a nice 17 goals last year, but its the rest of the field that needed to support him.

ABOUT: One of the pre-FLOX pioneers, Northshore has been on the wrong side of a controversy many times. First they got undercut by Capital FC when FLOX was founded, then they got to deal with teams in both Darmen and Electrum stealing their stadium design. Capital might be the team of the national government, but the City government of Dominica City seems to favor Northshore. The transit system especially. The Elevated Railsystem in Dominica City has long had ties to the team and in the 2010s they decided to sponsor the teams stadium. Largely since joining FLOX Northshore has had peaks and valleys like most teams. They've regularly fluctuated between the top and second tiers of FLOX and like a lot of teams will have dipped their toes in the third tier too. Right now they have stabilized a bit but we'll see if Dominica City can keep it's big 3 afloat in the Omega Division.
PREVEW/REVIEW: Northshore needs help. They stayed afloat by a mere GD of two. They did do an extensive rebuild though, bringing in Oleksandr Ion Constantinescu of Nantians and Nosts to help out the midfield. Nolan Ewing transferring in from Bearden though might be the big grab, he could help out a fiarly inept offense that had a league low 19 goals and aging Apoxian vet Croteus Cliffswallow could help out by teaching some of the youngsters.

ABOUT: There is no team more influential in Xannerian Football history than Pearlham. A team that influenced many other top flight teams to even form. A team so beloved that it took over a century before any other pro team popped up in the city (mind you Pearlham's population ins 3 million not including the metro area). Formed in the 1920s, PSC became a legend in Xanneria as they were a barnstorming team that would play local teams, SC and other ragtag groups of 11 people. Founded by Eugene Slovakia, as the footballing arm of the Pearlham Sports Club, he took the team all over Xanneria in their first 15 years, become a beloved institution and a brand before teams were really considered brands. After joining FLOX they became the big super team to beat in the formative years and between 1945-1977 coach Arthur Rhone lead the Battling Blues to a whopping 17 titles.
PREVEW/REVIEW: Cronic underachievers, Pearlham still struggles to retain NT level talent. Today it's Ayan Kabir. The fringe Grainfjall NTer, recently transferred over to Hawthorne Kickers. He is being replaced by Justin Holcomb, a capable reserve player but can he hold on to his spot as a starter? Again the striker core is lead by Thomas l'Establier but he is joined by veteran Rushmori player Owino Odede, from Niowani Kitara.

ABOUT: Union Laguardia: The underdog formed by a trustfund baby! The team was founded in 1962 by Laurant Boegle. Boegle's parents were fairly well off timber magnates from the area and Boegle had recently gotten his business degree from the University of Estra and wanted to keep playing football. Orginally Boegle's team (Lakeside XI) had started to participation in a relatively small semi-pro league encompassing mostly squads in Estra, and West Troy, but a handful of years later he had heard through some rumor mills that a spot had opened up in the larger pro-league known as the Western Xanneria Football League. Boegle used his and his parents influence (read: money) to merge with a couple of other amateur and semi-pro teams to form Union Laguardia. Though in joining the WXFA and having one of the west coast largest timber producers backing them, they became decent competitors in the WXFA. But when the WXFA merged with the FLOX and created "League V" Many suspected Estra would barely reach above fourth tier status. While no where the size and popularity of a place like Hawthorne, there were still a lot of similar mid range cities in the WXFA that had the 100,000-250,000 size range of Laguardia, but as soon as they started to assimilate FLOX many thought that UL would struggle. This hasn't been the case though as UL has shown multiple times it can reach the heights of Xannerian football and string together multiple season in the top flight.....
PREVEW/REVIEW:....That being said the streak of seasons in the top flight is likely over. There hasn't been such a clear cut case for a team headed towards an imminent demotion, since the East End FC team of five years ago. Hibernardo Selltick, the hometown hero and former U-21 player who was lauded as the best thing to hit Laguarda since sliced bread has left. Disgruntled
by Laguardia's inactivity in the last few transfer windows, he jumped ship and also convinced fellow U-21 player and UL signee Towson Cowper to do so too. Cowper is now in Squornshelous and Selltick is in Flavovespia. Incidentally enough the FAX being the FAX have also given Towson and Hibernardo NT spots and in doing relatively quickly after they arrived. Though let hold off on the "C" word, this is FAX we're talking about, they do seem to give away NT slots to almost any U21 player who goes abroad (Maybe Sally Tshinpoga should try that). So can Slim Haddes steer a sinking ship to safety or will he go down with the fleet? That's Union Laguardia's big question this season.

ABOUT: Alexandria is the hub of York Island, Xanneria's largest Island, and provincial capital of the South York province. Alexandria City has long been the Islands most established team. The Volets as they are called due to their purple and white color scheme are largely considered the bet team on all of York Island but this is somewhat a defacto statement as they also are the only one in the top tier. Their main rival is Gamma Division runners up York Metrostars and a handful of smaller towns on the island that also have teams, all of which want to be on par with Alex City. Fans in the area are mostly split between Alexandria City and York Metrostars. This is honestly a feat in and of itself given how much more the Violets have put in their team and the fact that the Metrostars have to play in a baseball stadium.
PREVEW/REVIEW: After Kenneth Greenfield kept Alexandria City afloat with his miraculous run two seasons ago many wondered what would the encore season would look like. It was, ....eh....okay I guess. The team did finish top half of the Omega Division, and were two games out of making IFCF. The problem is their off season response. For a team who finished 8-9-5 and clearly had visible issues finishing off games, you'd have thought that this team would have aggressively been after striker help especially with such an aging corp. But alas the only thing they did this offseason was promote 30 year old vetran reserve player Pierre Bollinger to starting RB after Anthony Mauritus left for Abhanfleft. So in turn lets see if Kennth Greenfield can work miracles again.

PREVEW/REVIEW: Forest Nincovich's team shocked a lot of people last year by making it into IFCF qualification and by a nice margin too. But with that came a rebuild, aging depth players plus both Jamocha Troy and Barb Dwire leaving for SK Sandfjell and Hawthorne Kickers respectively will change the look of the team significantly. In comes A.J Axelrod, the long time depth player and Gamma Division starter who has been with the team for a while. He's 32 though and many see this as a stop gap till they can get some younger players developed. Same goes for the much more high profile signing of Veronica McMasters, the 33 former Galaxy midfielder should do well with Pfaelszich and co in the midfield. Asbury Park has also dipped into young player development with the pickup of Arantzazu Voyels of Squornshelous a 17 year old DM and Marque De Carousse of Auprussia

ABOUT: Austin City is an interesting team when compared to their counterparts. Propped up by big oil and cattle money they are located in the north of the nation, by far the most northern team in the league and also the second youngest team in the Omega division, at least if you don't include any of the WXFA/FLOX merger teams. The green and black clad team has been a staple of the Omega Division since leaping into the league in the late 70s. Austin has built a foundation of solid midfield play and scoring legends by the dozens it seems and currently they have Allison Burns a short stocky (5'2" 130lbs) scoring prowess whose the big scoring threat not just for Austin City, but the Xannerian National Team. Part of the large Tri City Metroplex of Waddell/Austin/Saint Felix naturally they have rivalries with teams from those cities though rarely do they play them, given Waddell has floated between Gamma and Beta and Saint Felix has struggled to keep in the pro tiers of FLOX.
PREVEW/REVIEW: Anton Vito has finally retired and in his place former long time Capital FC midfielder Auggie Burton takes over. If Hapilopper wasn't going through the issues with their team it's likely he would still be a National Team player for them. Another upgrade is Allie Jordan, she'll take over for the departed Vin Vaught and given her standing on the National Team, she should do well with this team. Urpu Niklassdóttir proved to be a breath of fresh air for the Austin City defense. Brought in from a middling Baker Park team, and Austin City banked on her Graintfjaller pedigree translating well to FLOX and they were right, she was Newcomer of the Year silver and although many thought she would be a one year rental she was resigned in the off season and will return to RB for the Limitless.

ABOUT: Bearden is a city located in the Middlebrook province of southeast Xanneria. A financial hub located in the west of Xanneria's Lake District, the city itself is located on the shore of Lake Kingston, one of the largest lakes in Xanneria. Bearden is somewhat of a forgotten city in the cultural zeitgeist of Xanneria. It's not really associated heavily with the movies or art or music but its more or less a faily big sports town. Bearden FC itself has a long legacy of football in Xanneria as they are one of the original members of FLOX. Though not the oldest of the teams in the Omega Division, the Maroon clad fans of the team are proud of their history and are noted as some of the most passionate fans out there. Even through the dark periods of being a Gamme League team Bearden has shown that they too can compete with anyt teams fanbase.
PREVEW/REVIEW: Poor Italo D'arcy. He's a strong player and a very likable guy with the NT, but man Bearden has been doing him dirty. Bearden has been slowly falling through the standings with a new low in a 10th place result that got manager Joeseph Swinton fired. In comes Paul Norris a understudy of the great Galaxy SC Manager Barry Harper and the previous manager at Shorterville AC. Now he is attempting to steer a sinking ship to shore afloat. He will be helped out by D'arcy and a returning Steven Daniels. Daniels comes back after one year a Khartania and will take over for the retiring James Spenard.

PREVEW/REVIEW: Nick Van Der Crick's squad went through a massive overhaul last TW. An entirely new midfield saw Allie Jordan leave along with most their midfield core. In turn potent midfielder Rylee Greerenbach will be teamed up with youthful rookie Alli Alessi, and young former depth pieces Noah Blanc and Hogan Aspen. Bringing up reserves to take over for the departed midfielders really shows that Capital is willing to invest in their players but can Van der Crick transform the team back into a contender?

ABOUT: CPR was founded in the Carleton Park Neighborhood of Dominica City shortly after the formation of FLOX. The team was founded by a local businessman named Thomas Mervis. Mervis didn't like the political influence that Capital FC extolled, but like any proper Carelton Park native he also hated the Northshore neighborhood and its denizens. So upon hearing that there would be an expansion toward three division in 1945, he formed a Carleton Park team for this purpose even though he knew that he'd have to deal with Northshore wanting to get in. In order to make his team more appealing to the FLOX heads, he willingly volunteered for his team to join the lowest tier Alpha division (This was before the creation of the Gamma Division and League V mind you). The plan somewhat backfired as Northshore won promotion from the Beta Division to the Omega Division and CPR flopped around in the bottom of the Alpha Division, like they were a fish allergic to water. In fact Daniel Mervis would only see his team play Northshore FC twice in his lifetime before dying in 1963. CPR is now-a-days a bit more stable, but still considered by many a yo-yo team. Infact in the mid 2030s they got promoted twice in five years.
PREVEW/REVIEW: Like Capital, CPR gutted most of its team. A comically abysmal midfield and abysmal offense ruined a good run from Gord Lapointe. LaPointe might be in line for a NT gig if his back can hold up. As many people saw last year Gord's back might be sore from carrying the team. Now the team will be lead by striker whisperer Alex Gurnesy. Gurnsey also gets a hodgepodge of Northshore and Hawthrone United help they could get. Hopefully the inclusion of Timmy Kid-Jacksley will help out the scoring. Timmy will also be teamed up with new OM Milovan Antic an Squornshelous reserve Midfielder who could prove a sleeper star in the league.

ABOUT: Propped up by the largest steel mill in Xanneria, Destin has been a bit of a counterculture team in Xannerian football. A complicated team whose history involves blue collar workers and some of Xannerians biggest captains of Industry sitting next to each other, the team was a bit of an oddball in the zeitgeist of Xannerian football. Owned by one of Esportiva's largest steel mills, the Destin Easterners (so named due to its location within the province of Hampton) have been a team that seems to do things their own way. Due to the teams ownership being as wealthy as they are, the team was an eearly proponent of air travel, allowing the team to be the western most team in FLOX despite being deep within the footprint of the pre-merger WXFA. Now a days the team is more well known for having by far the slowest pace of play in the league, focusing on a shorter passing game rather than the run n shoot passing game more traditionally seen in Xanneria.
PREVEW/REVIEW: Destin is back! once consider the unluckiest team in the Gamma League (got demoted after finishing 11th in the final double pro/rel seasons, then finnished runner up in 3 of the first 4 sing pro/rel seasons), Destin has made sure to open up the checkbook. They want to stary a float and in doing so have gone out and pulled together a quality roster that would make most teams blush. while no superstars are on the roster the blue collar town will see a bunch of blue collar players. Mauricio Franklin-Perez and Aubrey Franklin (sister of Galaxy SC's Freddie Franklin) will lead the potent defense that Destin is known for. Alongside them will be Allison Iowa-Burroughs (sister of David Iowa), Elizabeth Fangio-Cruz, and striker Austin Zaffakovski.

PREVEW/REVIEW: Galaxy replaced a historical offense, with elite defense and cruised to a title once more! But this seasons version of the Galaxy SC team is different. Will the League figure out Galaxy? We've been saying this the last few years but it seems the gap is the closest it's ever been. Galaxy lost out to the rival Hawthorne Kickers in the Trey Dillon sweepstakes but they swiped Freddie Franklin in the process as the player who Dillon would replace went over to Galaxy and he's a good get for the team. Also joining the team is Mathilde Keller, a strong Nepharan DM who will take over for Veronica McMasters. The big Question for Galaxy though will be if Roman Torshien will still be playing consistently. He's 34 and there's a huge worry that his age will catch up with him. In terms of strikers though they have Eucharistie Aubert and Tolliver Jones.

PREVEW/REVIEW:Kickers reputation is that of a club for the blue collar, but don't let that make you think they dont spend money. Staying competitive in this footballing world is going to take money and the Kickers went out and used it. They went out and got Barb Dwire, Alexia Brant of Patriotlandia and the big get, Trey Dillon who was in Kelssek and a NT member. With the Arms race in FLOX recently due to the Konrad Lovelace signing, I think Kickers will do fin in 2052. A real sleeper could be Alexia Brant in the midfield though. With this stacked line up a Champions League birth is a must, otherwise the team could be a failure.

PREVEW/REVIEW: This is a key season for Hawthorne United. Can the Silver and Blue stay competitive or will they falter and start a slow slide back down to the Gamma Division? Very little of the core has been shaken up, mostly just the loss of Illinx-Winad Bel to Carelton Park. But therein may lie the problem. I think the big story with HU is did they do enough? They do have a solid core but can that core stay healthy and player consistently enough till the younger players such as Marc Neufield, Bayley Kirschman and Arthur Bruniip develop?

ABOUT: There is no team more influential in Xannerian Football history than Pearlham. A team that influenced many other topflight teams to even form.
PREVEW/REVIEW: Well they sure did something alright! Wanting to finaly crash the notion that the team is full of underachievers Pearlham went out and grabbed 37-year-old former Nephran striker and world class player, Konrad Lovelace. Lovlace is one of the most decorated former NTers in Npehara and apprently an extensive boatload of cash was used to lure him in to Pearlham. (A mansion in the lake district probably also helped lire him over too.) Lovelace may not be his old self, but if he can play even remotely close to the level he did in Nephara, he'll be a talent for sure.

ABOUT: Union Laguardia: The underdog formed by a trustfund baby! The team was founded in 1962 by Laurant Boegle. Boegle's parents were fairly well-off timber magnates from the area and Boegle had recently gotten his business degree from the University of Estra and wanted to keep playing football. This hasn't been the case though as UL has shown multiple times it can reach the heights of Xannerian football and string together multiple seasons in the topflight.
PREVEW/REVIEW: The big surprise of last year was the fact Union Laguardia didn't get demoted despite all the obvious factors leading to that as the conclusion of their season. Now the Lakers and Slim Haddies are in an even worse spot as breakout stars Zeke Pelito and Densise Charleston are gone and naturally Bill Allison left like he was threatening too. Zeke now playing at Locomotive Imgortur of AbhanFleft and Denise playing at Sea Dome in Arrossia. I think the bigger question for Union Lagaurdia is if they cn win more than one game next season. This team looks bleak.

PREVEW/REVIEW: ALex City made it! The violets snuck in to the IFCF Challngers Cup after sniping Destin, Bearden and possibly most shocking of them all, Galaxy! Alex City didn't have a great run but their fans are non the less stoked at a chance to repeat a trip to the IFCF Challengers Cup. But they have a completely new set of strikers. Alex City pulled out all the stops, pulling in top Juevencus talent Tatiana Vicario. Along with Vicario comes Enoch Varney, a top young talent whose been sticking with Alex City as a reserve for a few years and now has an opportunity to jump into the drivers seat at Alex City. If the two strikers meld I could see Alexandria City keeping up contention in FLOX.

PREVEW/REVIEW:Asbury Park, heroes a few seasons ago, goats (all lower case) this year. To be fair to Asbury Park, that fall from grace was not due to any form of incompetence or anything but rather a slew of critical injuries with awful timing. Pfaelszich and Strongintharm both suffered multi-month injuries this season and in a league where you play just over four months total that can really stretch a team thin. Hopefully this year does not break them like last year did. The team did something few teams have done this year and went out and purchased some midfielders from youth squads of a few teams that were willing to give up on a Xannerian dual national. For Asbury Park those are Second Gen star Mookie Danube Jr from Savojarna, Benncoolen City's Julian Rypien, and Aubrey Winterford from TIkariot. Hopefully this strat can work out for them.

PREVEW/REVIEW: The Limitless made the IFCF tournaments again, but man it felt like they sleepwalked through the whole thing. Yes Auggie Burton and Allison Burns were doing their thing, but it still just didn't feel like the Austin City we're used too. But there have been some changes, Jose Barajas and Nikolai Brown have transferred, so in their place are Rhinestone Hailey, a talented second generation star and Brock Ferrari a young prospect from Sylestone, The team has done well in signing players to patch up holes for the team. So with another year of Burns and Reynolds up front Austin City should be able to stear into another IFCF berth.

It's not really associated heavily with the movies or art or music but its more or less a fairly big sports town. Bearden FC itself has a long legacy of football in Xanneria as they are one of the original members of FLOX. Though not the oldest of the teams in the Omega Division, the Maroon clad fans of the team are proud of their history and are noted as some of the most passionate fans out there. Even through the dark periods of being a Gamma League team Bearden has shown that they too can compete with any teams fanbase.
PREVEW/REVIEW: Bearden finishing just out side of the IFCF qualifiers says a lot about Paul Norris coaching job with the Bulldogs. Team Chemistry was at an all time low as several of the big name players were saying how unhappy they had gotten with ownership. The Bearden roster is going to look a lot different this season as Dawson Plante and Italio D'arcy left in the offseason. The pair of NTers are being replaced with youth wonder and journeyman player Amon Gus (Yes thats an actual phrase we used.), and Narcisse Renaud whose been a reserve for the last couple of years. If Renaud play and Gus play decently then they should stay afloat and contend for an IFCF spot. Also joining is Edvard Dvronsk, a Mytanjian who will replace the aging They still have Pete Ross and Rachel Vanson leading them, with a solid core of

PREVEW/REVIEW: Capital has been a mid table team ever since their shock league win a handful of years ago. This year they came with in 3 points of making the IFCF tournaments, but that still left them, tied for 7th with Galaxy SC. The Big question with Capital FC is going to be Keeper, as Latibaudrie is back in Destin and the replacement is Tikariot keeper Jonathan Espinal. Espinal is solid but Latibaudre was world class and Espinal has big shoes to fill for that Keeper spot. That will be the biggest thing determining Capitals fate this season.

PREVEW/REVIEW:Carelton Park is going to have a make or break season this year. They have been propped by excellent defensive players such as Gordie LaPoint and Sally Tshinpoga. But they both are gone and in their stead is Darmani keeper Rex William signed from a folded Darmani team in nations pyramid and Mu Weihei an aging vet from Yuezhou. The issue is that both player are very likely to last for at most two-three years. Can the CPR defense hold up enough to retain position within the FLOX ranks or will they fall this year? On the bright side Petra Eriksen is back. The Hawklandian Mid has been a bright spot on the team but it was though she would get poached by other teams such as LaPoint and Tshinpoga did. She will be thrust into a bigger leadership role and hopefully she can help lead CPR out of the relegation zone.

Due to the teams ownership being as wealthy as they are, the team was an early proponent of air travel, allowing the team to be the western most team in FLOX despite being deep within the footprint of the pre-merger WXFA. Now a days the team is more well known for having by far the slowest pace of play in the league, focusing on a shorter passing game rather than the run n shoot passing game more traditionally seen in Xanneria.
PREVEW/REVIEW: Destin's much Ballyhooed return to top flight football was worth it! The team impressed as they made several smart plays in terms of roster moves bringing several good players that fit their rather unique post football style. Unfortunately for anyone living in Eastern Hampton, the inevitable happened! After one season Destin lost their star midfielder and National Teamer Allison Iowa-Burroughs to Squornshelous. They did bring in Millano Vilareyo a prominent Defensive midfielder from the small footballing nation of San Gines. Some fans are optimistic after looking over a history of career, but many are also teped thinking the nation hasn't been thoroughly scouted enough yet to have made such a move.

PREVEW/REVIEW: Last year was brutal for Galaxy! They missed the IFCF for the first time in years and star Roman Torshein suffered a string of injuries and the team just fell flat. A week 22 collapse against Pearlham SC saw them finish 3 points out of the Challengers Cup, but end up 7th int he final standings! Roman Torshein is gone! A combination of his age and the injuries he strung together in the season, saw him depart back home to Kelssek for a mentor/substitute role at Saint David's Wanderers. They made some moves going for Yue Hsieh out of Naixi, a striker signed as a veteran presence, but there are concerns over her pace. That being said, despite the concern over her aging curve, FLOX still might not be an issue. Also look out of Brandon Clippard at Defensive midfielder. Lots of talk has gone around the league that Clippard could be on the National Team soon.

PREVEW/REVIEW: The Kickers did what they do best. They get locked into a top spot in the standings and refuse to leave. Same story last year and,I wouldn't be surprised to see it on repeat again this season. The team did very little in the offseason too, but they did make one big move. THey brought in Sally Tshinpoga in at left back. A former College all star in the AICS, she's jumped around a bit but it was clear that her time at Carelton Park showed she had NT level talent, now she's at the Kickers, one of the big 5 and now its very likely she's going to get called up by the National Team soon.

PREVEW/REVIEW: After the team garnered a lot of flack for its relative stagnation during the previous transfer window, but that wasn't the case for this offseason. It was needed as Haily Rae Crwaford's shock retirement through the team for a loop. But, the team struck back signing a promising keeper in Jeffrey Danchevy, whose pedigree includes the Dantopian national team. Most of the defense is going to be restructured as even returning starter Grandby Pillock has been swapped from rightback to left back. Also joining the backfield is Alistar McConell a controversial defender who many have put prop bets on, talking about the amount of red cards he's going to get this year and how many are ref arguments and how many are tackle related.

PREVEW/REVIEW: After a year in the Gamma Division, Northshore returns, and with an entirely new roster as per usual. It looks on paper we might have a yo-yo on our case here though as the on paper roster is ver light on defense. That being said the offense has a few brought spots. Prittia Kulmana will slot into striker. She was picked up from the lower tiers of Squornshelous and she'll team up with a bright spot in last years off season, former University of Denalia-Rogersdale star Andy Bishop. The Offense also has Zera Levin, a Sabrefell Moths youth product signed from Raven River in Nephara. If she is even half as good as Sascha Pfealszich she has a chance to stick around for a couple years.

ABOUT: There is no team more influential in Xannerian Football history than Pearlham. A team that influenced many other topflight teams to even form.
PREVEW/REVIEW: The Lovelace revolution has entrenched itself firmly in Pearlham. While maybe not as dominant as people expected the former Nepharan NTer to be, he did well and lifted his team up to heights they hadn't seen in ages. Lovelace blended in well and is returning for this year with the same core as last season so expect Pearlham to be contenders. Besides Lovelace, Joanna Swardh and Ki Ye-Jin both had break out seasons and Ye-Jin especially bonded with Lovelace, the duo helping lead Pearlham to respectible IFCF showings. The only real roster movement out of
